The lalafell are In a Nutshell Very short Elfs,tallest standing 4.6 FT tall,most people Confused them as Children because of there apperance in most age and there size,do ALL lalafells dont enjoy being calld a Kid...NOT ONE BIT!,Nothing much to say But lalafells Live SLIGHTLY longer than humans some reaching 120th Years,they are easy to tell By there Long Pointy ears like that of a elf do compared to elf,s there ears are Longer and More Arrow Like,some say they are weak and fragile But its not true,in fact lalafells can be as strong to Lift some Pounds for there size,do because of there Chield Like apperance most people feel Pity making them easy to hide along Crowds,Not much to say but very short people...do dont call them kids....A nother way to tell they are Lalafells is there eyes,they are always other colors BUT never Brown,and there pupils are slit Like.

Most Lalafell,s are Not the Running type and the fighting ones but they are more magic and soport type so dont expect a lalafell wih a greatsword...well there are some just rare as because of there size and limitations ther are best suited as magical race,and because of this tree lalafells are naturally suit for magick!

Markov is like any Lalafell being short,chield Like in apperance and pale skin,He has Very short Light Blond hair and Large Blue eyes and narrow slit Pupil,Long Pointy Ears and that small mouth and nose that make people go "D'awwww" But he hates that..Most of the Time he Blushes as its anoying do he must admit Lots of people confused them like this so he has to live with it,aside frorm his adorable self he always seems to wear a Robe and metal Gauntlets like the medival age,this might be the 21th Century but Markov dosent care what age it is,he will dress as he pleas! Not much to say But hat he always wears a Fancy Monocle.

Markov Overral is a silent,seriuse and very Smart Guy,always having a Book in hand or a Carrot...or a healhy pice of meat for the dragons,most of the Time he is Busy in some way be it working,reading or resting Markov is always up to something Nomater the Time and day,wen talking he always speak in a chieldish Tone that makes most laugh at him or ask if he is really 28,and asking something like that is a red flag for him....seeing you would be a noying,do he dosent Minde answering but wen its Multiple Times he gets Kinda Grumpy,do just be nice and dont be anoying and he would be nice to you.But aswell wen he is in a Good mood or mostly combined with his seriuse side he is Very wise!,always saying to never give up and to continue your dreams!

But inside that frame there is a preaty angry soul...well...not actually,but he is short temperd and easy to anger so wen in a conversation be carfull what you say,do there is a Rule for him,he will treat people like they treat him so if you are very Kinde and caring he will treat you he same but if you are anoying he will be the same so depending your relation with him depends how he would react and talk,but naturally he is seriuse and caring....do Grumpy from the inside,wen he gets very angry is jus a show to laugh at,but....sometimes he feels depress and sad as no one takes him seriuse because of his apperance....

Physical Strengths

Size and apperance- because of his size and aswell chield Like apperance most would not harm a "Chield" not just for his apperance but with there size he can slip between small gaps and Hide Greatly from most,and if he cat Hide he could act like a kid and sneak pass unotice by the mean people.

Stamina - He might not be the fastest around or the strongest but he has one Great stamina Tolerance,abble to outrun most not from speed but how much he can last,Climig,running,fighting and working and any other activity that needs stamina he can dominate it without breaking much of a sweat,do he might not be quick at making it he can Surely last.

Flexibility/Agility - because of his small frame and weakn Bone strocture and aswell some training Markov is very flexible and agile for his size,able to do a perfect split or just do a Backflip with easy task its all his,do like mentiond befor he might not be fast or strong but he is Flexible and agile so you whant him to slip in enemy lines? mark is ya man combine with his apperance!

Stature and Body - Like mentiond befor Mark is not strong nore tall so he is not fit for any sort of close combat unless you whant him to be Thrown away like a ragdoll,markov might be tough Minded do Physical he is Just a Chield.

Chield apperance - Looking like a chield Might be fun and sneaky and adds the trait of not being hurt by bad-bad do looking like one would make most people not take him seriuse like a Grown man,his apperance makes him more to laugh at and Not hear from,and if out there most would just ignore and treat him like some 10 year old...

Glass jaw - No he dosent have a glass jaw....this is a referance of him being very Weak and Fragile,a Small punch for you might not be anyhing but for markov its Kinda painfull,his bones are not the strongest and aswell ANY attack given to him would be More painfull and aswell more sevier,markov shoold be carfull with as he is weak!

Dragon's Appearance

Written Description

It has black scales, black fur and nightmarish red eyes, giving it the look and style of a predatory black panther. Its dark, feral appearance suggests that it may mainly be a nocturnal predator. This wyvern has been sighted within the great Forrest at night and day. When it's in rage mode its eyes glow bright red and leave a trail of reddish lines when Nargacuga moves. Also, its tail erects large spikes which can be flung and linked up with its attacks for devastating hits. Their vertebrae and tail muscles are extremely flexible, making the tail of Nargacuga also prehensile. Its tail is also its most powerful weapon. The scales at the end of the tail can also be shaken to produce rattling sounds similar to that of a rattle snake.

Aside from that Her wing Bones are strong and durable Coverd in thick scales that she sharpens agains stone or any Hard surface to use them as a slicing wepon as seen in the images.her jaw is full of Dagger like theet and aswell Hook like claws made to tear flesh,but what she is most visible is her Red shading on her eyes That make her menacing killer.aswell her Upper jaw is rather more of a "Beak" aswll for size she stands 14 feet tall and about 12 foot long amd a weight of 1100 pounds

Nirgara is a VERY silent Dragon mostly never talks and most of the time are just gestures,she is very Observative and rather stay laying down and sleeping than doing something,do she is preaty Nice to most do Wary of them and those who she dosent know,aside from Humans and people and other None dragon speacies,with her own kin she is very Caring and respectfull Knwoing the current situation that is happening to there speacie,do Nturally she is mysterius and Loves playing "Tag",with those she knows she is Caring and respectfull like she would treat her Kin do she still wary of any Human or none-Dragon speacie.

aside from that she has one BIG FEAR towards water,do she dose enjoy it but wen its a large Pudle NOPE! she wont DARE plave one SINGLE Claw in that water! always having the fear of Drowning and well not being abble to escape....

Written Description

Sylvaris is a tall Elf with light brown hair that goes past her shoulders. She has large light brown eyes and medium brown skin. She has a widish button nose as well. She has a thin frame like Elves typically have. She also has tall, pointed ears that are stationary. She usually wears comfortable clothing outside of work (jeans, t-shirt, sometimes shorts).

Personality

Sylvaris is a confident young woman. She speaks with a soft voice that could grab anyone's attention. She cares deeply about her passions and is quick to tell someone about her day and what she had to do. Her regal appearance can make her seem like she's bossy and always in charge, but in reality, she's a big sweetheart. She is someone who you can trust and if you teat her well, she will lay her life down for you. She loves listening to others talk about nearly anything and finds enjoyment in learning something new about her co-workers. She also enjoys cooking, mostly baking, and likes to make treats for both her co-workers and the dragons on the reserve.

On the downside, Sylvaris's confidence boost can make her a bit stubborn and hard-headed. She doesn't like being told what to do if the other person knows nothing about her field of work. At times, she can brag about her gifts and talents to make herself feel better after a failure. She is also easily irritated, but you wouldn't know that unless you know her well. Her face might not show her annoyance, but it is still there.

Physical Strengths

Height- Sylvaris is very tall compared to the others on the reserve because of her being an Elf.

Eyesight- Elves are able to see well in poor lighting conditions. She can see perfectly in dimly-lit areas and is useful in cases like a power outage.

Agility- Sylvaris is very agile and is able to quickly move away from projectiles that are coming after her.

Physical Weaknesses

Strength- While she is fast, she isn't able to lift heavy things well. Her body frame prevents her from lifting more than 60 pounds.

Stamina- Her stamina is lower than it should be for Elves. She can still keep up with busy tasks, but sooner or later she needs to rest.

Pain Tolerance- Passed down from her mother, Sylvaris has a low pain tolerance and she can be bruised easily. Even a little pinch on the arm could feel like a punch in the face to her.

Special Skills

Memory- Sylvaris is able to remember things and events from a very long time ago, especially good and bad events. However, the more she thinks about the memory, the more the memory subtly changes.

Animal Talking- Because of Elves' ties to nature, Sylvaris is able to communicate with animals. But she can only talk to animals no larger than a Dragon or smaller than a mouse.

Hearing- Elves are very good listeners and Sylvaris is no exception. While she can hear a bunch of different sounds at once with exellent quality, if the sounds are too loud or too frequent, she can get a headache or even faint.

History

Sylvaris's parents were both born in South Africa and lived there during a civil dispute between the Elven citizens and the country's government. Feeling that where they lived wasn't a suitable place to start a family, Conall and his wife Saria fled South Africa and moved to a forest-like suburban area in the United States. There, they had four children, with Sylvaris being the third.

Sylvaris's life wasn't too bad: she lived in a nice neighborhood with other Elves who formed a loving bond with her family. She had a decent relationship with her family members and had the usual sibling rivalry at times. The only thing missing was her father, who lived and worked on the reserve. Unlike her older siblings who knew what their father was up to, young Sylvaris constantly asked her mother when dad will come home. He would visit once or twice a year and then go back to take care of dragons. Sylvaris didn't truly understand the impact her father was making until he started sending her letters of his time on the reserve.

Those letters helped her understand why Conall had to stay on the reserve. Soon, she started to wonder if she could live there beside the dragons and take care of them as well. So, she started to write back, asking if her father could teach her about what her knew. For most of her teen years, she did her best to learn about the dragons' eating habits and nutritional health until she was hired at the reserve.

Sabbath is a long yellow dragon with giant wings. He has a slender build and a long neck. On his head are two wavy horns that are right for his kind. Sabbath has a rounded snout that makes his head oval-shaped. He has large brown eyes with black slitted pupils. His legs are long and slender with his front legs having four claws and his back legs having only three. His wings are almost as big as his body is long. He is 10 feet tall and about 8 feet long with his weight being about 350 pounds. Sabbath can produce a high-pitched whine that can disrupt an attacking dragon's hearing for a while and make it disoriented, allowing him the chance to get away. His skin is always has a sheet of water covering it, like a thin blanket so he glistens and shines when he's in the sunlight or moonlight.

Another interesting fact about Sabbath is that he is a Primal. He is the only male dragon of his kind and his only responsibility is to mate with the females of his kind that are on the reserve. This makes him important to the survival of the Divinity Cirrus and puts him at the top of the Divinity Cirrus's breeding hierarchy and among the reserve workers' priorities.

Personality

Sabbath is a cautious dragon. He likes to take things slow and tries to be safe when the situation allows it. He has a large reputation to uphold and will do anything to keep it up. He is wary of living life to the fullest and he can be frightened somewhat easily. Unlike Sylvaris, Sabbath isn't interested in talking about his day; he would rather be around those he cares about and be safe and secure. Even though he likes to socialize, he fears that he will make a mistake. His body makes him fragile and weaker than other dragon breeds, so he is used to being a sort of 'Plan B' or backup or an afterthought to those other breeds. To his own kind, he is praised like a living god. However, Sabbath doesn't find much enjoyment in all of the excessive praise. He longs to be able to do the things the others, whether they are his own kind or a different breed of dragon, can do.

He really cares about Sylvaris though. He clings to her and will do anything to protect her. Even if it costs him his life. She treats him with the respect that other dragons didn't give him and Sabbath is always grateful for that. He can become clingy and will be upset when Sylvaris leaves or is mad at him. Though he is maturing, Sabbath still has a lot to learn before he becomes an adult.

Kran-Rin is a tall man standing at 6'1, he has a toned physique with lean muscles and a languid, graceful bearing. His skin is lightly tanned with a slightly golden hue that doesn't seem to darken, lighten or burn from exposure to the sun and is only broken by the long healed scars across his face, arms and torso. He has long, pierced ears capable of swiveling at will, a tail, and instead of fingernails he has semi-retractable claws. His good eye is a very bright blue with a slitted pupil and his bad eye is a clouded red, appearing cracked down the center; matching the line of the scar across his face. He has two obsidian horns emerging from behind his hairline and long, red hued, iridescent hair that is typically pinned in an upright fashion and may be decorated with an assortment of gems, stones or chains of metal. Kran-Rin is fond of jewelry and may also decorate his arms, neck, torso and ankles with items of all fashions. His style of dress is often inconsistent, changing with his mood and preference.

Kran-Rin was born in Egypt to a family of five, he along with his younger sister stayed behind with their cousins learning about geology and old world cultures until they reached the proper age to join up with their older siblings and travel across the world with their parents; whom hunted down, excavated and sold ancient relics from past civilizations. Kran-Rin learned from them how to read maps, the land and the stars, and how to decipher ancient text. The work was interesting and at times proved to be an enjoyable challenge, but it also lacked a certain excitment Rin couldn't quite place and he found himself looking outside the ruins to other careers despite the rest of his families wishes. He often dreamed of the wing serpent-like carved into an amulet his sister had given him on his first trip with his parents, wondering what it would be like to fly away and forever be free. Kran-Rin however wasn't the only one feeling uncontent, his oldest sibling 30 year old Kran-Ul also wished for a different life, she wanted to work along side dragons ssnd she shared the stories she'd heard from hunters and locals she'd met in town. The two often discussed running away together in secret but Kran-Ul was the only one that outright argued and bickered with their parents until finally leaving when Rin was 16.

Even after their seperation Kran-Rin still pursued what had been their dream, he researched dragons and interviewed everyone that had, or knew of someone that had come across a dragon, and he recorded those findings in his journal along with sketches of what the dragons may have looked like. At 21 he had his first big break and got to see a real dragon in person, brought in by a team of hunters; it was a old _____ . After that day Rin began befriending some of the hunters and would meet up with them after a successful trip to document their findings. He'd already turned 30 by the time Kran-Ul regained contact with him; apparently she'd succeeded in finding a job as a dragon tamer at a dragon park and had recommended Rin as a potential apprentice for the head trainer. He accepted.

The 'Ameret Dragon Park' was located in southern africa and Kran-Rin had to say his goodbies to his family before leaving; it displeased them to see him go, but they didn't want to loose him as they had Ul, so they wished him well and urged him to keep in touch however he could. The park expanded over one-thousand acres of terrain and housed 5 different dragon species, 40 dragons in total; small in comparison to the Elliot Marnarks Reservation, but for the Rin of that time, it was paradise. Rin was accepted, he'd passed their tests surprisingly well and he was able to start working with dragons within the following month of his application. Everything went well for the first 12 years of his career: Rin had a natural nack for reading the dragons, capable of calming down even the most agressive species they had at the park and to some, it even appeared as if he could actually understand them. However during a lone expedition to investigate the reports of a wild dragon that had been sighted on the edge of the reserve Kran-Rin made the decision to give medical treatment without waiting for assistance, and he paid the price of overestimating his abilities with the loss of sight in his right eye and severe mauling to the rest of his body. Ul was among the crew that struggled to intervene between the dragon and the Kran.

After the accident Kran-Rin took a leave of absence to recover from physical and mental trauma, he didn't come into contact with another dragon for roughly seven years and spent most of that time strengthening his magical skills, relearning his senses and delving into dragon behavior. when he returned he didn't resume field work or tasks that required direct interaction with the dragons for another two years but he became involved with the sciences and autonomy of the creatures instead and practiced in these for five years before returning as a trainer. Upon his return to working hands-on with the dragons Kran-Rin used his past experience as motivation to make interactions between the workers and the dragons safer for both parties: he developed new practices and methods that allowed for better communication and less stress, and because of his dedication to the task he was quickly premoted over the next year to the chief of safety.

This change in behavior is believed to come from the loss of their natural hunting grounds and the increased competition for food that results from more dragons sharing the same territory.

This dragon has a strong muscular build and a somewhat catlike physique, with narrow, angular features in its face and deep-set orange eyes with slitted pupils. The dragons body is covered in smooth, tiny purple scales and larger rigid, overlapping plates black in coloration and it has a crest of white horns and spikes on its head that travel down the length of its spine. The dragons wings, which were damaged while in the egg, are smaller in comparison to others in its species but grow at a steady rate that is estimated to one day reach a size capable of supporting the dragon in flight. The wings are purple and orange in coloration and even the webbing is covered in a layer of very fine scales that protect it from objects that might otherwise tear or penetrate the delicate membrane beneath. This dragon is excellent at maneuvering on the ground and in water, an adaptation necessary for a dragon that cannot achieve sustained flight, and it has large semi retractable claws and prehensile tail to help remain balanced when traversing rough terrain. This species may breath fire and has a projectile venom capable of dissolving organic material and soft metals, with the exception of Rimosus all Night Hunters are afraid of water.

Personality

An oddity of his species Rimosus is seen as a rather eccentric dragon both by those of his breed and by researches at the reservation: he lacks the Night Hunters trademark fear of water and rarely sees fit to collect objects for his hoard other than those received as gifts or tokens from close friends or acquaintances. He is considerably shy of others that he has not yet established a relationship with, even those he has seen before and often prefers to observe individuals from afar before establishing contact. Rimosus is very conscious of his dwarfed wingspan, uncooperative with staff other than Kran-Rin that attempt to examine them or have him perform the routine stretches and exercises that strengthen his muscles; when faced with something he doesn't want to do he often pushes to get his way, fully determined to get what he wants.

Rimosus is a very loyal dragon, forming strong ties to individuals that earn his respect and trust; he tends to do better around the staff than the other dragons and will aid them on expeditions when he can. He tries equally hard to maintain good relations with both parties: friendly and courteous to all members of the reserve. Rimosus is very close to his best friend and care-taker Kran-Rin, but because injuries have left Kran-Rin blind on his left side he has taken on the role of his guide and guard out of fear of loosing his friend and should anything catch his friend unawares, he'll be there to stop it. Rimosus is curious and very observant, prone to the need to investigate all aspects of his surroundings and he's active during all times of the day and night, only taking brief naps for up to five hours at the most before waking up to resume his daily tasks. Rimoses likes to paint, especially decorating his scales in bright colors, enjoys swimming-- even when its prescribed by the physicians-- and has developed a taste for human pastries and spices.

Habitat: These dragons are largely nomadic and will traverse the land in search of food, they are one of the only dragons found world wide and will remain in a single area until it has been depleted of suitable prey before moving onto the next. They prefer densely forested woodlands over open plains and tend to avoid passing through swamps or marshes. They cannot be found near coastlines or areas located neaar near large bodies of water.

Diet: Pack hunters, these dragons have a diet of 98% pure protein, 1% vegetation and 1% fruit. They feed on any manner of animal including other dragons, and can target and kill prey many times their individual size.

Mythos: These dragons are associated with deities of plenty, chaos, and destruction and in ancient culture it was believed that Night Hunters served as the god's 'black dogs' and if a god was unsatisfied with its offerings or hadn't paid been its dues then these dragons would be released upon the town at fault to consume anything of worth within its perimeters and lay seeds of plague or famine as punishment. It was often considered an ill omen to find a dead dragon of this species due to the fear its pack might return to find its missing member and killing one was punishable by death in order to prevent others of its kind from seeking revenge.

Relation with Humans: Ravenous pack hunters these dragons are considered a minor threat to small human dwellings, but there are no comfirmed attacks on humans in civilized environments even though locals do like to give this species a wide birth. Older packs have been known to establish deals with traders and merchants and will follow and guard caravans in exchange for rare prey items to be released for their enjoyment of the hunt.

Relation with other Dragons: Night Hunters are a highly social breed that does well living with others, however they are predatory and will prey on other dragons, sometimes even members of their own species. Caution must be taken when introducing them to new dragons (or staff) and it is best to do this one individual at a time to avoid a pack frenzy; once an individual has been introduced they should no longer be at risk of being hunted.

Overview of Mating: Females vy for the attention of males: bringing gifts, food and displaying acts of affection. If a male accepts these attentions the pair will mate and be temporarily bonded. A male will only bond to one female each year but a female may bond with as many males as she can.

Written Description

A put-together young man. Atticus's clothes are always pressed and clean, if a little loose fitting on his wiry frame. The only exception to this would be his unkempt earth colored hair. It's styled messy, but might come off as unprofessional. He has long arms and thin joints. The prescribed number of fingers and toes, even though it was a close call one point after a scalpel accident. Atticus's most noticeable feature is his expressive eyebrows and forehead. It's obvious from his warm eyes that he wears his proverbial heart on his sleeve. If he's doing an all-nighter, expect to see him wearing glasses instead of his usual contacts.

Atticus looks young for his age. But, long-lived species, like elves, are often flabbergasted that he's as young as he is. It's kind of a lose-lose situation around company and he's sometimes dismissed in the professional world.

Personality

“A little Consideration, a little Thought for Others, makes all the difference.”

Firstly, he takes his responsibilities seriously. If Atticus can schedule or plan ahead, he will gladly. He likes to get lost in the details. His notes are organized, he drinks coffee at the same time every morning, and takes an interest in the mental and physical wellness of the others in the reserve, including the dragons. If Atticus notices a problem, he's likely to add it to his own work-load. In order to solve a issue while it's still small. If it seems like the others are being boggled down by work, he will no doubt offer to help. It's not about being praised for his contribution, rather, Atticus wants to prove he can be relied on. The spotlight makes Atticus notoriously shy. He often downplays his accomplishments. Anyone attempting to give him a compliment will probably be drawn into a praise-a-thon where he matches the other person compliment for compliment.

Atticus would rather spend the time to do something right than cut-corners. He's extremely patient with his patients, but much less so with himself. Combined with his inability to say no to other people, and a propensity to take on other projects, Atticus often overloads himself. Burn-out and ruts are common for him. It's difficult for Atticus to ask for time off or take breaks. Letting others down is a personal fear of his. Most of Atticus's internal problems stem from the unrealistically high standards he has for himself.

An empathetic individual, Atticus easily sees the view points of other people. He strives to keep harmony between himself and others as well as in between other people. Atticus something of a model citizen. White lies are about as dark as he gets. An organized and socially aware individual, but also a gentle and empathetic person. Anyone would be lucky to have him as a friend, however, it's of note to say that his idea of fun is reading and making airplane models in his room.

History

A quiet kid, Atticus would rather stay inside and read than play. He's the type of find out the rules of something and stick permanently to those guidelines. His parents were supportive, but aloof. They were always too lost in each other to be inclusive of much else. Other than shyness, Atticus didn't have the behavioral problems most kids develops as they grow older. His teachers, and then professors, awarded him high marks in school. Friendships took the back burner to his career goals. Though Atticus isn't unwelcoming, he tends to have a singular focus. Most of his acquaintances are also studying healing or similar kinds of magic. And he only sees them on an as needed basis.

Choosing medicine and healing artes was simple for Atticus. Any career for him would be one that helped others. As stuck in his ways and nitpicky as Atticus is, he has a very nurturing and compassionate side that also needs to be expressed. His Elfin grandparents contributed to his studies by passing along healing methods used by his ancestors not taught in school. Atticus's family is very supportive of him. Even though sometimes it feels like the parent child roles in his family are reversed.

Dragons fascinated him from the start. As a child, spotting one in the sky, before it become rarer, delighted Atticus. One of the few things he had in common with his parents was a reverence for dragons. Hearing that they were nearing extinction, in part due to poaching, infuriated Atticus like few things could. He applied to the reserve out of a sense of altruism. Helping defend a species seemed more useful to the world than anything else he could accomplish as a physician. The chance to work with competent people, professionals in their field, also appealed to him.

Written Description

Night blue eyes and scales the color of sunset. The lining of Scorpius's wings contains a map of the milky way. Clusters of nebula that seem to constantly shift from day to day. His color goes darker around his feet, the edge of his tail, at around his eyebrows, taking on the appearance of dirty snow. Scorpius's breed is naturally smaller than other dragons. He's about Atticus's height and almost 300 ibs. A big human could match or overtake him in terms of size. Next to some of the other breeds, which in some cases top over 1000s ibs, he looks infantile. His body is the longest part of him, followed by his neck, and then his tail. Flying from place to place, or in some cases, gliding, is Scorpius's preferred method of travel. His claws are obsidian dark and hook shaped. Occasionally he gets them stuck in certain kinds of fabric. He has a fine row of fangs that mostly appear only when he's eating or yawning.

Personality

It's all about what Scorpius wants. This dragon is 90% self-centered childishness, 10% curiosity for humans. He decided for Atticus that they would be partners. Scorpius has a keen ability to read people's moods. This makes him the most harmless shade of emotionally manipulative. Atticus pays attention to him when no one else will. It's been long established that Scorpius is a bit of a drama queen. All he needs to be happy is someone to play with and pay attention to him. Scorpius is mostly harmless, but control of his powers will slip if he becomes upset enough. Atticus mothers him and is able to quickly smooth over his moods. They connect well on a emotional level, but mentally, Scorpius and Atticus are planets apart.

With an utter indifference toward schedules or work ethic, Scorpius exasperates Atticus to no end. He's the spontaneous one of the duo. Being direct about his wants is Scorpius's modus operandi. Without Scorpius around, Atticus would probably never venture out of his office. This extroverted dragon is hardly content to stay in one place all day.

Scorpius has a sixth sense about when Atticus is feeling depressed or upset about something. He's surprisingly observant and big picture based. Whenever Atticus can't see the forest for the trees, Scorpius can be a source of insight. Scorpius likes other dragons if they're playful enough. The same goes for other humans. He doesn't like being told what to do or being put into a box where everything for him is scheduled and decided.

Written Description:

Budge walks and talks like she is the big man on campus and she really is. Because of this her face always has that look of superiority. Her eyes always look as if they could see through any line of bull that is trying to be pulled, and she has a strong voice and presence. She is quite tall and likes the fact that people have to look up to her. Her eyes are a stately blue color sometimes more grey, but always seem to glow, either with excitement, worry, pressure or just general life enjoyment.

Her hair is very long, if she wore it without putting it up, she could step on it. Due to this she always has it in a pile on top of her head, something else that adds to her height. She has a narrow nose and lips that are fully, almost pouty, even though she never would've done that in her whole entire life. She is often seen in the traditional power suite either in skirt or pant form with her white lab jacket over it. On rare occasions usually when she is with her dragon she is in normal clothing.

Personality

Budge walks and talks like she is the big man on campus and she is, but she never comes off as stuck up, or rude. She actually hates rudeness, and doesn't stand for bullying. She is friendly and caring and cares about all of the staff that works for her, as well as all of the dragons on the reserve.

Budge is loud, but can also be stern. She has to make sure her voice is heard and rule breakers often have to meet with her wrath, something that she doesn't like doing but something she knows she has to. She enjoys getting to know people and is often seen working out in the fields rather than being behind a desk. She often will pitch in and help out wherever needed, even if she does get behind in her paperwork, and receives little sleep because of that.

Budge is bossy at times when she thinks her staff are not listening to her, or if there is some sort of threat that is getting ready to happen. She knows it is of the most importance to protect the dragons, and when she feels like people are not doing that, she gets angry. You can say she spits fire. She also hates lazy workers, if you are assigned a task you get it done then you go to help others. There is a time for work and a time for play. One better not be playing when she is around during working time. She would be quick to call you out on it and the first to catch it and punish you.

Mark of Gaia - Given to her some time in her youth the mark represents the Greek God Gaia, the Primordial Goddess of Earth. She cannot pinpoint an exact moment when it happened but she cannot remember a moment the tan mark appeared, but she had been assured she was not born with it. The Mark of Gaia connects her with the earth and its creatures, allowing her the ability to communicate with earthly creatures; not just dragons. The only limit or weakness to this is that she can just communicate with them, not control them. It is said the mark can hold other powers, but she has yet to develop them.

History

Budge grew up on the dragon reserve. Her father took over after his uncle passed away. He had failed to produce an heir, and so the next in line was her family. Her family that is a part of the blood line of Elliot Marnark. They moved to the reserve when she was seven. She doesn't remember much of her life before that. She knew they lived in the United States in New York and that she was a alright student, but that was about it. When she got to the reserve everything changed, it was like her eyes were open for the first time.

Once on the reserve she found out that she had a dragon that hatched within an hour of her birth. She was introduced to the dragon and they became quick friends. He taught her about life on the reserve and she began working on it when she wasn't being home-schooled. She started working on the farms learning all about the different fruits and vegetables that were grown and who and what ate them. From there she learned about dragons and their habitats and their diets. She began spending more time with all the dragons working hard at finding out whatever she could about them, it was her passion and it consumed her life. Her studies took a back page, but her father didn't mind.

She was his daughter and his favorite. Her other two siblings were jealous of this as they grew older, and her brother even left the reserve to live with their aunt back in New York. She didn't care though. Dragons met something special to her father and she shared that passion with him. They even spent many sleepless nights by the fire talking about dragons. She didn't need or want anything more out of life.

When she was 16, Budge got the opportunity to study under the head scientist on the reserve and she learned quite a bit about dragons from him. He encouraged her to go back to get to studying for school and not to let the dragons take over her life. He explained to her the importance of getting an education. He inspired her to do that. After she graduated she moved from working with the scientist to learning from the Vet. She wanted to know every area of the reserve knowing one day she would be in charge of it.

When she turned 20 her father made her the assistant manager of the reserve and her work took on a whole new meaning. She now was looking at expense sheets, and charts comparing dragon breeding and life cycles over years of conservation projects. It wasn't nearly as fun as being out with the dragons, but she liked the responsibility and she enjoyed overseeing all things.

It is the family business. Budge grew up on the reserve and began working in on the farms as a child. From there she moved to helping with the dragons diets and habitats. After that she studied under a few researchers, then the head scientist, the vet, then under her father as the assistant manager. When he died, she took over the management position. Saladin is a Chokmah Dragon, and is one of the direct descendant of Akinyi the ancient Wisdom Dragon responsible for bringing Elliot Marnark to the dragons and inspiring him to create the reserve. Wisdom Dragons are rare and only a few are able to live in existence at a time. The are born on the same day as the person they are tied to and will die with them. An ancient race of reptilians with colonies located in areas of Egypt, Sudan and the Amazon rain forest, the Lyzard species earned their common name from their similarities to the lizard animal; they are known for their excellent metal working skills and immunity to fire as well as their extreme intolerance to the cold. Lyzards are a very long lived species that regularly surpasses a thousand years of age, however there are only three established populations world wide and they are typically considered elusive or shy creatures. They may be easily separated from other reptilian races by their six arms and feather-like crests.

Written Description

At seven feet tall it is a challenge to find an individual at the reserve other than the dragons that surpasses Vruikan in height; he has a toned physique with lean muscles and an air of strength and determination. The surface of his body is covered in iridescent scales ranging in earthy tones of greens, browns, blues and sandy golds. His head is animal-like with a sleek and narrow design and a crest of feather-like scales, with a smaller flare protecting his nasal cavity. The lyzard has four eyes, the largest 'main' pair are bright blue with rounded pupils and the secondary pair are small and grey with rectangular pupils. Vruikan has six arms with three digits on each hand tipped with long, deadly, semi-retractable claws. There is a V shaped mane of feather-like scales down his back and he a long whip-like tail with highly prehensile abilities. The shape of his legs differ slightly from a humans, with a higher ankle so that he walks on his toes, similar to a raptor dinosaur. With his natural armor/coverings Vruikan has no need of clothing but will often wear shorts for the comfort of others, however he does have a fondness of jewelry and may also decorate his arms, neck, torso and ankles with metal decorations and paint.

Strength:

Vruikan has incredible brute strength that makes him a deadly fighter and portable lift of sorts. When new equipment arrives or needs to moved you can bet he's the one doing the heavy lifting. He's also been used to help interrupt fights between dragons or help stop tantrums.

He can safely lift an object up to three times his own weight.

Agility:

Designed to travers difficult terrain, the lyzard species are capable of extreme feats in agility and can easily twist their bodies in ways not seemingly possible.

Endurance:

Built from a life time of physical work and determination the lyzard has incredible levels of stamina and is not easily exhausted by labor.

Reptilian in nature the Lyzard race depends on their environment to maintain their body temperature and exposure to the cold can impair their motor control, effect the immune system and ability to digest food and in extreme cases cause fatalities.

Having six hands his great, but with only three digits working with the fine details of an object isn't always an easy task.

Size:

Vruikan isn't a small creature and there are times when his size works against him, especially when indoors or riding inside a vehicle.

Thermal Vision:

hidden senors along his snout detect waves of energy called infrared radiation and process the level of heat emitted by objects; hot objects emit more heat than cold objects. His brain then processes the information collected by the sensors and relays it as a thermal image, the images are updated at such a rapid rate that movement appears as fluid as normal. Having practiced with this ability since birth he can switch it on and off with a little concentration.

Heightened Senses:

Vruikan can hear, smell and taste better than many other races and is capable of tracking someone either by their scent or by 'tasting' the air much like a snake.

Immunity to Fire:

Dependent on heat to survive, all members of the Lyzard race are immune to fire and extreme heat but they may experience drowsiness or fatigue from prolonged exposure to high temperatures.

History

Vruikan was born into the Amazon Lyzard Colony some 571 years ago, he was raised by his mother and father (Dam and Sire) along with his brother and two sisters to be trained as warriors, politicians or metalsmiths. As a hatchling he'd displayed a great affinity for the forges and both parents spent the first hundred and fifty years of his life drilling him with information and expertise until after he'd learned all he could from them Vruikan chose to apprentice under a Master Smith in Egypt to surpass the skill of his parents. In Eygpt he worked alongside his new master Gurimon and for a hard for thirty some odd years he was tutored in the finer workings of the trade; even learning the ancient practice of weaving magic into the molten liquid before giving it form. Once he graduated the Lyzard set up shop and began to sell his own wears, and for two years business went well, very well in fact until a bad year for the farmers crops struck famine onto the streets and no one could afford even the cheapest of what he had to offer. During the famine regular work became scarce; businesses collapsed and families couldn't afford to pay the prices for the products of those that remained. During the struggle to survive Vruikans saviour sprung the most unlikely of sources: dragons. Hunting them had always been dangerous and so few had ever attempted it, but the rewards were also great and needed now more than ever. As a lyzard, Vruikan was one of the first to recieve an offer from a hunters guild: he was big, strong and deadly with a blade, excellent traits for a dragonslayer. He jumped on the band wagon without a second thought; he wasn't just going to survive, he was going to thrive, even if he had to risk his life to do it.

Hunting was surprisingly easy, Vruikan was good at his job 'a natural talent' they called him, and for him the Sahara was his hunting grounds; he took down many dragons during his career, all kinds species, sizes and ages fell before him as his prey. In his 70th year as a hunter however that all changed; the job had started as normal: find the dragon, trap it and kill it. But somewhere during their usual process something went wrong and the trap for the dragon backfired and let it catch him instead. It tore him from the ground beneath his feet, away from the safety of his team and flew them both far up the mountain until he could no longer see anything but the summit on which they landed. Now pinned beneath the creatures talons Vruikan knew it was over, he was dead; the dragon would eat him. But instead of jaws clamping around his body the shock of what happened next impacted him forever; the dragon a young armored gold-- female probably, from the downwards curving horns-- spoke. She told him many things, about the dragons, about the hunters about how he had the power to change it all, if he'd just listen to her first... She and her sisters had lived their whole lives on the run from hunters like himself since the day they hatched, and as it turned out she'd been spending the last several decades plotting ways to save them and the rest of her kind from death at the hands of a dragonslayer, and she'd finally come to the conclusion she couldn't do it by herself; no, she would the help from someone on the other side. The armoed gold needed him to help convince the other races--starting from those local in the area-- that dragons were important, that they were more than blood-thirsty beasts and that they needed to be saved. At first, when the dragon was finished explaining Vruikan was in denial; it couldn't been true because if it was then for seventy years he'd kil--murdered sentient beings just as capable of thought, of emotion as he was, and on top of that he'd chopped them up and sold their parts for money. But the more he thought about it, the more he could see it was true.

Vruikan and the the young armored gold-- Relpda--worked together as partners and friends for the next 15 years after their first encounter in order to attempt to gain recognition of dragons being a sentient species and pushing for bans illegalizing the hunting of dragons and selling of products using dragon materials. They had some success, managing to change the hearts of a few individuals and towns but for the most they were met stone cold silence. Dragon hunting was a huge business that provided jobs for entire towns and supported the companies that hired them by retrieving the ingredients they needed and people often preferred their ignorence to the knowledge they were funded through murder. Most of the resistance however was pointed at a personal level rather than fact: Vruikan had history in the field and his sudden change of heart was suspicious in the eyes of many; was he trying to lessen the competition, what secret was he hiding? And even worse than accusations against his motives was that rarely could anyone other than the lyzard understand Ralpdas language: they heard nothing but the growls and grunts of another animal and no one could confirm she was indeed speaking for herself, if at all. When it seemed their efforts were no longer enough to satisfy their opposition Vruikan and Relpda retreated to background and began planning other, perhaps less ethical ways of protecting the dragon species, but any plans they might have been able to use were cut short by a warning from several of the town leaders: stop now, or we will stop you ourselves.

Vruikan was first hired by a man who believed the lyzards size and immunity to fire would be excellent traits to capture wild dragons. He was put to work in the Sahara desert hunting species such as desert golds, sand wyrms, and dune wyverns; Vruikan spent a total of 70 years believing they were nothing but giant brutes until he himself was caught by, and had a conversation with a young Armored Gold. Horrified with himself and desperate to right his wrongdoings the lyzard did everything in his power to prevent more dragons coming to harm at the hands of poachers, eventually joining the reservation.

Related to the common desert gold, this rare species of dragon naturally inhabits areas of the Sahara desert and was thought to be extinct for almost two centuries before a small population was rediscovered in Morocco, outside of their normal range. These dragons are considered a medium-to-large species and can be distinguished from their cousins by their curving horns which grow with age.

Written Description

A regal dragon with a muscular physique the Armored Gold is a large, powerful looking dragon with deep-set amber amber eyes and a predatory gaze. The skull of this dragon is hard and almost bone like in appearance topped with a pair of curving horns reaching towards the base of the neck before gently re-curving upwards. Its snout is narrow and somewhat beak-like, with a flared crest protecting the nasal cavity and a lower jaw bearing clusters of bony protrusions. The scales of this dragon have a wide range in size and shape, those on the head, rump, underside and feet tending to be larger in size and with more overlapping than the rest. Colors of the scales are neutral and range from tones of earthy greys and browns to dusty golds. The dragon has large, tapered wings with a layer of tiny protective scales across the membrane and when it walks the dragon sometimes uses its wings to support its weight, allowing it a range of bipedal motion including the use of its hands.

Personality

RüGuard is what many would consider a realist: he doesn't trust in people that claim to work solely for the benefit of others and not for their own gain, and he certainly doesn't believe in the saying good things come to those that wait; No, if you want something good you have to go out and take it for yourself. But that doesn't stop him from lending a hand (paw?) here and there when someone needs a little extra help--in fact he often assists with moving heavy equipment or carrying researchers to and from their destinations. RüGuard is typically a laid back creature not keen on picking a fight or starting an argument, but as an older dragon born in the wild and not on the reserve RüGuard is an independent individual that values his privacy and is still connected to his wild roots. He can be territorial and possessive of his belongings or anything deemed 'his', particularly objects he stores in hidden caches, many of which are dug out as underground tunnels or rocky caverns. Because of this many keepers tend to give him a wide birth should his mood suddenly change and he become frustrated and uncooperative, RüGuard can be a frustrating patient for the vets; hiding his wounds and running off to hide when he's in pain, but he's usually a good student when it comes to learning new tasks or following a new health curriculum. He can be testy and will push and shove at new staff members to determine how strong they really are and how much he can get away with in their presence. RüGuard has a strong relationship with his friend Vruikan and is very loyal to the Lyzard, he enjoys the companionship and can often be found at his side discussing or debating various subjects, but although the dragon is protective of his friend and considers his well-being a priority, he also expects Vruikan to hold his own against a challenger; it is rare for him to intervene with the others affairs... unless it's to make a point or drive off anyone stealing away his attention.

In his spare time --well, not that he's ever particularly busy--and when he's not accompanying Vruikan, RüGuard can often be found patrolling the reservation grounds, basking in the sun or, if he's really looking for something to do; butting heads with some unfortunate passerby.

Vruikan has three blades, designed and crafted by himself. They have a protection spell woven into the metal that allows them to never chip or break during battle.

Danger Rating: 5/5 These dragons are considered extremely dangerous due to their size and temperament, they can breath deadly torrents of flame and are known man eaters in the wild; it is recommended that only senior keepers work with the male dragons and all staff be supervised upon entering their habitat.

Rarity: 4/5 These dragons were already thought to be extinct in the wild and less than 60 remain world wide. There are currently 7 (3 males, 4 females) on the reserve.

Aggression: 4/5 Males are highly territorial, females are considerably more docile but prone to lashing out if insulted.

Type: Undetermined (debatable between earth and fire)

Physical Stats: Females commonly range from 20-35 feet long and males anywhere from 40-60. They have wingspans at least as long as their bodies with 'thumb claws' at least 3 feet long.

Colouring: Armored Golds are a versatile species, that usually ranges in natural hues of greys, yellows, browns and golds, but some individuals may also have shades of greens, coppers and blues.

Physical Description:

Males vs. Females: Males have larger upwards curving horns while females have smaller downwards curving horns and lack spikes on the bottom jaw.

Habitat: Prefering hot temperatures and dry climates these dragons naturally inhabit areas of the Sahara desert. Males prefer to live in high elevations usually on rocky mountainous areas or canyons and are not likely to leave their territories unless they are usurped by another male. Females however are nomadic will travel either alone in or small groups from oasis to oasis, only settling down during the breeding season.

Diet: Armored Golds are classified as opportunistic hunters; they have a varied diet that consists of 80% protein, 28% vegetation and 2% fruit and they will eat anything from insects like locusts and small mammals such as rodents, to large ungulates such as camels.

Mythos: These dragons are seen as symbols of stength, protection and fertility, and in many cultures it is said that they are the guardians of the passages and entrances to the underworld.

Relation with Humans: Due to the rarity of this species and their elusive nature encounters between the two species are very uncommon, but it is not unheard of for Armored Golds to sometimes prey on human settlements during times strife or eat a straggler that wanders into their territory. Younger dragons without a territory however are typically friendlier and can even be bribed into protecting a village or cariban for food or treasure.

Relation with other Dragons: Armored Golds are a very territorial species, especially during the breeding season and rarely tolerate having other species of dragons living within their range, however very old or very young dragons may be more lenient about this and actually seek out others for company if they are not at an age when they can breed. They typically establish their relationships at a young age, before they fully mature and will keep them for the duration of their lives and usually only something extreme can change an Armored Golds opinion of someone or something.

Overview of Mating: Dominant and impressive looking males that are able to defend their claim on their territory and mating rights by competeing in physical challenges against the other male dragons will end up collecting harems of female dragons on their territory, they will mate with the dragons of their harems and the females will build nests and lay their eggs within his domain.

* Much like a stag or mountain goat male armored golds will butt heads, lock horns and grapple: digging their wings into the ground for balance, clutching their opponents with their forearms and rising to stand on their back legs while attempting to wrestle the other dragon to the ground, the winner is the last dragon left standing.*

Mating Season: Females seek out the males around the beginning of spring and will breed at around June.

Egg Gestation: 12 months.

Behavior Changes:

Nesting: Female dragons will construct a nest in the highest or lowest elevations in the males territory they can find; preferably in a hollowed out den in the earth or rock. Once they have found a suitable location they will dig a bowl shaped cavity into the ground and will use soft vegetation and soils to layer the center of the impression and sharp thorny branches on the outer rim to deter predators. Males will periodically patroll the nesting sites and regularily deliver gifts of food and building material while the female will remain within a yard of the nest until the eggs hatch.

Egg Description: Soft shelled and brown or grey at first, eggs harden within 24 hours until they are nearly indestructible. Once hardened the eggs are iridescent and appear rather gemlike, so they are often confused as treasure by humans and stolen under that impression.

Egg Incubation: Females will incubate 1-6 eggs for between 4 and 6 months at temperatures ranging between 36-43 degrees Celsius (eggs will die at below 32 degrees), females may use fire to maintain a higher temperature. Almost all eggs will be female and any males will immediatly fight for dominance upon hatching until only one is left, thus ensuring only the strongest survives. In captivity if this behaviour is stopped early enough the males can be trained to get along with only a pecking order.
