Hi everyone, I will start things off with a prime example, using the legendary Berthold Ravenhardt.

Regarded as a true genius, without Berthold, we'd still be tribalistic, waging petty wars over who gets what food and who can rape what women. He was truly a man of honor and glory, who gave humanity a gift that can never be repaid to him.

Berthold Ravenhardt was a legendary figure, founder of the Brothelm kingdom, capital, and the Ravenhardt Academy as well as a primordial scholar and known as the Founding Father of Pneumatic Power. He is regarded as the most powerful figure in human history and the one who aided in mankind's use of pneuma as a power and energy source.

A tall, thin and well-built man, Berthold Ravenhardt was a man of mystical fashion, who often wore heavy robes colored in light blue, white, black, and hints of gold.

Stoic and proud, Berthold was a man wiser than his own generation, having founded and understood the classic principles of pneumatic fashion and order, creating theory after theory on its property and making it into the first science of the world.

History

Born to parents who worked on a farm, and were subjected to torment by nearby tribes, Berthold was raised around violence. Despite this, he was a boy who often educated himself, learning the use of pneuma through the tribes nearby.


Over his years of study, after he sought revenge, he learned that such acts do nothing but cause more harm, especially when he learned the one he took out had a child of their own. This repeated cycle of death and conflict changed Berthold for the better and took the child in as his own.

He gathered many of the tribes and clans, speaking to all that he could, and eventually grew an army of followers that would begin their journey to building a kingdom. With his help, they were able to build a small settlement that grew and grew over time.

The people elected Berthold as their ruler, choosing him to be the king to lead the people, but he formed a council to help govern the land, due to his study. This became known as the High Council.

Over time Berthold became sick, unable to get out of bed at only the age of 30, finding himself suffering from what he called "Pneuma Sickness". He spent his final years recording all he could for the future generation and inventing equipment that would save his kingdom.

Of these inventions was the eco-gear gauntlet, a piece of technology to help people control pneuma, due to the highly restrictive nature of the energy,allowing for more people, but not all, to use it. From this, the Eco Knights were born.

Pneumatic Element: Earth, Wind, Fire, Lightning, Water, Metal & Light

Regarded as a genius, Berthold was capable of all six elements and was skilled enough to use the rare primordial element: Light.

His skill of using all six and the primordial is often debated as the cause for his early death, due to the extensive strain and rapid aging he underwent, dying only at age 50. Despite this, he was exceptionally skilled and his terrifying power is what scared many to join him and others to follow in his glorious power in hopes for a better tomorrow.


Eco-Abilities

Transmutation: Of his plethora abilities at hand, one of them was his ability to perform the exceedingly rare power to transmute structured pneuma into raw, or non-structured pneuma.

High Pneumatic Absorption: Berthold was highly gifted in his ability to absorb pneuma. Coming from a time before eco-gear, which he was the inventor for, his capability, even then, without the gear was beyond what most would ever be able to do.

Appearance
Sophie is a short, thin female who has light-colored skin and long, black and greenish hair with red eyes. She has a very soft and youthful face. She wears full-coverage armor, despite not being much of a swords fighter, yet still carries a blade with her.

She possesses an eco-sword, which is what she uses in combat to enhance her blade a little and for creating her attacks. The sword itself is a family heirloom.

Sophie is a stoic individual who takes much pride in her role as an eco knight and protecting the people with a very strong sense of honor. She is very scholastic in her approach, feeling knowledge is power and that understanding pneuma is of great importance, making her more skilled and diverse in her power than as a physical fighting knight.

History

Sophie was born into a family of fighters, who often pushed her to join the knights and be a battlemaster, or to join the family market, where the family worked at after retiring. However, Sophie was different from her brute force and swift bladed family. Rather than fight at the front lines, she studied the arts of pneuma, finding it to be alluring to know about and the history. She hoped to one day be as great and wise as Berthold Ravenhardt.

Because of this, she was accepted into the academy where she pursued the arts with fervent desire. She was able to learn that she had an affiliation with earth and wind, and thus she studied them.

During her time, she spent a lot of time reading on the history and trying to read books within the forbidden library as well as once having successfully broken into Berthold Ravenhardt's former personal library and bedroom, where he was known to stay and sleep when he worked on his writing of the pneumatic arts.

She was given a swift punishment, though remained in the academy due to it being her first warning, and since it was a clear desire for greatness.

She is often regarded as a scholar of pneuma and its practices among her generation and is known more for her knowledge than her latent abilities that everyone else displays.

When Sophie joined the eco knights, she joined as a pneumatic knight, one who relies more on their pneuma powers and abilities than physical combat, but was given a sword from her family that had been passed down since the time of Berthold Ravenhardt, assuming their daughter would one day be on the front lines fighting, despite arguing it was against her wishes.

Sophie hails from a family that has money and power, having a relative who was once a member of the High Council, so she was born within High Garden, the greatest district within the kingdom. Due to this, she lived a rather sheltered life, unaware of any maliciousness that inhabited the kingdom or the capital.

Sophie is a fairly skilled user of the earth element when it comes to pneumatic property manipulation. She has knowledge in some other fields, but very little.

Aside from earth properties, she is proficient with the wind, as well. She commonly uses it with her blade to attack from afar to play it safe.

Sand:
Of her many skills, Sophie is capable of creating sand and controlling it as a weapon and defense.

Gusting Wind: Using her eco-blade and pneuma, Sophie is able to conjure wind that can cut and blow with a swipe of the sword.

Personality: On the outside Claus appears as grumpy and irritable young man, but it is merely a bad case of a resting angry face. He is generally a positive person who likes to crack dry jokes that no one else laughs, whether or not it's because he actually has a crappy sense of humor or he does it on purpose is a secret he like to hold onto. Besides being an optimist Claus is a very diligent man. He isn't the most intelligent so he makes up for that with a strict work ethic and sense of personal pride in completing his task as efficiently as he can. Some have even used the phrase "Meat head" to describe him, as he is much more focused on brawn before brains. He isn't stupid but compared to his physical strength his mental capacities are less impressive. Lastly like many other Eco Knights Claus has a firm belief in what he is doing, believing that his own honor comes from defending his kingdom and crushing any threats to it.

Appearance: Claus is a rather tall man who stands at 6'3. He has somewhat shaggy short brown hair and fearsome amber eyes. His body is rather muscular and toned, a testament to how much time he would spend doing heavy labor. He suffers from a hardcore case of rbf, almost always looking angry even though he is usually in a good mood. His normal attire ussually consist of his suit of armor accompanied with his helmet and cape. The armor itself is tough but not particularly heavy, he likes to keep it this way as it lets him move around more freely and once he reinforces it, the armor will be just as tough if not better then the heaviest of armor.

History: Claus was born to the Kharlon family, a small family who use to be rather wealthy and even lived in the High garden. Unfortunately a few years before Claus was born the Kharlons made a horrible financial decision that cost them almost all their wealth. No longer being able to afford to live in the High Garden the family was forced to move to one of the lower areas, the woodcutter area where Claus's father would be forced to swallow his shame and work with the other tradesmen. It was in this atmosphere in gloom and shame that Claus grew up in, and it is this reason that his face always seems to be gloomy despite him not usually being angry or sad. Being the only child Claus would have been spoiled if they still lived in High Garden, but in this area he worked just like the other kids. Those years of chopping away at wood, working at carpenters, and more would eventually build up a well toned and muscular physique that worked with how tall he would grow to be in his adult life.

Even though the Kharlons weren't upper class anymore his father tried to instill in him the tenants of the nobility and upper class. Some managed to stick but a lot of them went over the boy's head. He didn't really want to be apart of the upper class. He did however really enjoy when his father would teach him about combat. The daily drills, the practice fights before and after work built up a dream of one day being a fighter into Claus's head. It was a dream he never really believed would come true, but he would be surprised to find that it in fact did come true.

His latent talent with Pneuma was discovered in his late teenage years. After the discovery of his latent talent he found himself enrolled and attending Ravenhearst Academy faster then he could blink. At school it became blatantly obvious that he had a knack for handling the magic, particularly Metal and earth, but his book smarts were utterly terrible. Too keep pace wit the other students he would spend countless hours studying over and over again, even while he was training his body and fighting skills he would be studying. No one could ever look him in the eye and say that he wasn't determined, some might have called him stubborn behind his back but it definitely wouldn't be to his face. His hard work would eventually pay off and he would achieve his childhood dream of becoming a knight.

Joining the Eco Knights he would be placed in the position suited best for him, a front line fighter. This was exactly what he wanted. Being a knight had it's fair share of annoyances, mainly in the form of his parents. They saw a chance to redeem themselves through Claus and regain the wealth they had lost. Claus on the other hand wasn't interested. He became a knight because of his own ideals not for them. Of course he would help them if he could but is main goal wasn't too help his families status. Now that topic is one of the few things that can put him into a genuinely bad mood.

Powers and abilities:
Claus is proficient in the element of metal. He is also capable with earth but not on the same level to what he can do with metal.

Eco-Abilities:
Maul Creation: His number one ability, Claus can swiftly and easily create his trusty maul, a heavy mass of metal made to crush the threats to Brothelm into pulp. The Maul is rather heavy and the average person would struggle to hold it for long let alone use it. For Claus on the other hand it is perfect.

Reinforce: His other signature ability is the ability to reinforce the durability and toughness of different objects. Primarily he uses it on his weapons and armor. After all who needs to wear the heaviest armor when you can wear something lighter, reinforce it, and have it be more effective then the slower heavier armors.

Steadfast: The only earth ability that he has really made much progress with. He can use steadfast to manipulate the ground under him to reinforce his stance making it much more difficult to knock him off his feat.

Name: William Lionhearth

Gender: Male

Height: 5’6”

Weight: 154 lbs

Class: Eco Knight

Personality: William is what appears to be a person hell-bent on keeping the peace and upholding the law at any time he is on-duty, and for the most part, that belief is true, but there is more than a simple assumption. He is a kind and caring man, especially to animals, who makes sure that his allies are at tip-top shape and would even block blows for them if the situation calls for it, for its his duty to protect his comrades from harm, and he will go by this oath till the end. His main trait is being a Stalwart individual, never leaving the side of his allies, and becoming loyal for life to those he befriends. But the one he is most loyal to, is his own hound, making sure at all costs, that Fergus doesn’t get harmed, using his own body to block blows, and even fly into a rage filled by frustration and fury, more destructive than a hundred cannons in unison. His mind is not perfect however, and has a ‘small’ fear of arachnids, usually not even going near areas filled with cobwebs and would even hide behind his own hound when one is in sight, his fear overwhelming the protective nature he has over his dog.

Appearance:
Being on the short side of the height spectrum, he stands in at the height of 5’6”. Having short but rough blond hair on his head and a pointed Viking beard style for his facial hair. His body structure appears to be rather small, but much more noticeable muscles are in the arms and legs, a athletic build. This is further proven with his choice of clothing, which is but leather and cloth, restricting the body much less and allowing for more precise, agile, and quick movements, (also the scarf is just adds a cosmetic feel to it). But there seems to be difficulty seeing his eyes, for small patches of darkness are located there, that while it may not affect William in any way, makes it so that his eyes are much harder to see, but if one were to look close enough, he would have Hazel colored eyes.

Species: Dog (breed: Irish wolfhound)

Weight: 165 lbs

Personality:
Fergus is both an energetic and loyal hound, always following the orders that William tells him, and is quite curious, and enjoys exploring new locations that he hasn’t discovered yet. The bond between Fergus and William is so great, that they became practically inseparable.... so if you see one or the other by themself, the other member is often nearby.

History: William’s life was normal to begin with for a person like him, being born into the middle class lionhearth family, a well-known family of merchants whose most of its members and employees are made of up people that either in the same family, or close friends to them. Their speciality was breeding animals for livestock and companions, also making pieces of furniture and jewelry. The first animal he showed care to was at the age of 8, when he first took care of a small piglet he named ‘Derik’, which he fed and played with for eight months, until the day that the now grown pig was gone. William didn’t know where Derik went, but his parents assured him that he was in a much better place, and while it wasn’t as hard hitting as the truth, the young William still went on with his life as normal.

The first time he learned of Pneumia, was a abandoned journal on the streets of the marketplace, at the age of 12. The main focus of the book was about the lightening pnemuia, which brought both shock and awe to the young kid. He would spend his years reading and even re-reading this journal, it being one of the few things other than helping out with his family’s business, often carrying things a distance such as boxes full of supplies or small pieces of furniture, but other than that, he mostly spend his time exercising, preparing his body for what he thought was gonna he his future. He often wished that he had a chance of having a much different life, being out there and helping the folks and keeping the peace whenever he was around. William wanted to be treated more than a simple middle-classed citizen who takes care of livestock, and wanted a chance to help change history for the greater good. But he was often discouraged by the older family members, for they too wished for that, but was hit with the cold harshness of reality.

He soon discovered his skill and practice with the lightning pneumia, the journal helping to prep him for this, at the beginning of his adult life, which changed his life greatly, as he was soon accepted into Ravenhearst academy a few weeks later. During his time in the academy, while he wasn’t the smartest or strongest around, he still managed to get average and above-average with most of his subjects and performed well in physical attributes, such as being quick on his feet and relying mostly on both his agility and reflexes to get past training for combat. William was often that helpful kid who some people would either befriend or come to for advice, the latter of which, he tries his best to help whoever asked him for his aid. His main focus was the first Pneumia he had ever learned about, which was the lightning element, and he quickly learned and adapted to its uses, not even caring for the other elements he could take steps into learning, for it will be his first and only Pneumia he felt safe using. At the end, his current skill set, and his physical and mental attributes made him a perfect candidate for the Eco Knights, as he soon became a Knight.

Joining the Eco Knights, he was quickly adapted to his role of being a scout, his swiftness, reaction speed, and agility making him the perfect candidate for this position. While he was surprised he even made it this, he was happy that he finally achieved a goal that he didn’t know he had in the first place. But as the years went by, and the friends he had made slowly going away one by one, he eventually went into a state of loneliness, not even bothering to make new friends when off-duty, for he had no motivation to kickstart him once more. His kind and caring nature was still there, but he tried to not spend his time around people, mostly keeping to himself, drinking ale in his home with no other person to speak with, and writing down his days on his journal about his daily life. At the age of 29 however, became the turning point which led to him becoming the person he is today, which is on one fatefully evening, a small knock on the door, and a small basket left on his doorstep with a small pup left changed him greatly. Everyday, he often take great care of the Irish Wolfhound, which he named Fergus, it being a part of his past experience with handling animals, and eventually, growing the bond between the two. Eventually, he started bringing the wolfhound around once it became a year old, training it to be not only a ally in his own scouting missions, but to aid him in battle as a companion. This had helped him gained confidence over those two years, and recently, he began to attempt once more to make new friends, hoping to become the small and friendly person he once was in the past.

Powers and abilities:

William’s main focus is the lightning element, spending most, if not, all of his time studying this pnuemia and it’s uses.
Eco-Abilities:

-Target Whistle: Sending a small bolt of electricity that stays on the area of the body it hits, it essentially ‘marks’ the opponent for a couple of minutes, allowing both him and others to have a higher chance to hit that target and deal more damage as a result of it.

-Blackjack: By covering his Crudgel (club) in sparks, he is able to enhance not only the blow of the attack, but gives William a chance to stun the opponent as well for a couple of seconds, allowing him to set up for another attack or disengage from combat in order to prepare himself.

-Shocking bolt: Focusing on most of his Pnuemia, he is able to generate a couple of bolts of electricity that he can use to fire upon foes and shock them. It does not stun them at all, but it increases in intensity, bolts of electricity made, and decreases in accuracy the more his emotions, such as fear or anger, takes control of his body. Being very useful in certain situations but also deadly considering the higher chances to hit either an ally or someone else with the uncontrollable bolts of Electricity.

    Body Build: Less muscle, yet toned. More focused with endurance and cardio.

    Armor: Aria lacks full-body armor, instead opting for armor in her vital areas only. Under her shirt is a thin layer of flexible plates. Her gloves, pants and cape have multiple layers of leather to them, providing protection against blades without sacrificing movement. However, her armor fails against heavier weapons such as axes and such.
