Name: Ezra Josephus Rosenberg
Nickname: Will add if I think of something later
Preferred Name: Ezra
Ethnicity: Ashkenazi Jewish
Age: Twenty-two
Date of Birth: April 24th, 1922
Place of Birth: Savannah, Georgia
Role: Rifleman Scout
Rank: Private

Height: 5' 6"
Weight: 160 lbs
Hair: Brunette
Eyes: Brown
Body: Slender and short, but firmly built due to physical training

Personality: Prior to recruitment Ezra was a studious and hyper-focused individual with a tendency for introverted behaviour. However, there's another side of him that has manifested since his joining the military. When in like-minded company he has shown himself to be both witty and boisterous. In fact, he has learned that he quite likes socializing, even if just as a distraction from the harsher realities around him. He has learned that retaining positivity and not dwelling on hardship can be a source of motivation for himself. Unsurprisingly, as a former intellectual he is also rather opinionated. He is not afraid to make his views known or to speak his mind, particularly on topics like politics, philosophy, and others he deems to be intellectually stimulating. He is the type of man who would talk someone's ear off for hours simply about the state of the world.

Ezra is ultimately a stubborn individual, but this is a trait that can often lead him to extreme dedication. If he is trying to complete a task or mission then he will see it through to the end. This additionally implies loyalty to any cause he claims to represent, and those marching alongside him. As a persecuted minority, justice is never far from the man's mind either. Being very much a thinker, he will also consider a situation carefully before directly jumping in. He is the type to observe his surroundings and consider the consequences of actions before even acting at all, both traits that make him excellent scout material.

Although Ezra appears level-headed to his comrades he can quickly become a dangerous force to be reckoned with when provoked.
Vices: Stubborn, opinionated, introverted,
Virtues: Loyal, resourceful, dedicated, calculated, intelligent
Likes: Books, tea, puzzles, home cooking, the arts
Dislikes: Shallowness, racism/anti-semitism, aloofness, cats
Fear: Arachnophobia (spiders and other arachnids), claustrophobia (small spaces), pyrophobia (fire and burning to death)
Hobbies: Reading, playing chess and card games

History: Ezra Josephus Rosenberg was born the middle child of three to Moshe and Edna Rosenberg. Save for all the distinct religious and cultural rituals that accompanied his entry into the world there was nothing out of the ordinary for the boy. According to the doctors he was healthy. He was also loved and well-cared for, or at least as well as his parents could on whatever income their shop and bakery managed to bring in. Upon the moment of his birth up into the earliest moments of his childhood the boy knew little of his family's origins deep in the Jewish Quarters of Eastern Europe. It was prejudice that drove them away, just as it would be prejudice that eventually slapped their son directly in the face.

Ezra's childhood was a rather average one. He attended school, but was also encouraged to make friends and partake in extracurricular activities. He also showed himself to be a rather intelligent and studious individual. He loved to learn and was often found buried in books. Among his favourite things to learn were philosophy, history, and his culture/religion. He also took a particular liking to intellectually stimulating activities such as chess - it was not long before he shot up to one of the top chess players in his school, all while also preparing for his Bar Mitzvah ceremony. It became no secret to anyone in his community that he was a high achiever in many ways. He even became a source of pride for his parents.

Of course with high achievement came immense pressure. As soon as Ezra reached high school he was pushed by those around him to choose a prestigious career path: doctor, lawyer, politician - anything at all that would bring his family name recognition. It was upon graduation from high school that he finally settled on pursuing law. He was opinionated and knew how to hold his own in an argument, both important traits for a lawyer to possess.

Ironically, it was also law that was to become his own undoing.

It was not easy being a minority in the Deep South, particularly of the black or Jewish variety. Ezra unfortunately fit the bit in at least one way, a sure risk while there were white supremacists and Klan members running rampant. During his early university years he had run-ins with the unsavoury fellows. These began with threats and harassment until the ultimate climax of being framed for a crime he did not commit. A warning from those who despised his lot? Perhaps.

Regardless of the intent of those who framed him, the minute Ezra found himself escorted into the courtroom he had hoped to some day serve in he knew his life was ruined. After a short trial the ultimatum became clear: either he would rot in jail for a crime he did not commit, or he could clean his record by a second trial. A trial by fire.

Realizing he had nothing else to lose, Ezra soon found himself packed into the first shipment to a single destination: boot camp, and then finally to the battlefields of Europe.

Name: Shane Matheson
Nickname: sparks — given to Shane by the men of Fox company because of his frequently malfunctioning lighter
Preferred Name: Shane or Sparks
Ethnicity: White American
Age: 24
Date of Birth: January 24th 1921, 6:29 AM
Place of Birth: Kingston Avenue Hospital, Brooklyn, Kings County, New York City, United States
Role: Automatic rifleman
Rank: Private (Pvt.)

Height: 185cm (6’1)
Weight: 82 kg (180 pounds)
Hair: Dark blonde
Eyes: Pale blue
Body: Powerfully built and athletic, with broad shoulders and well-toned, muscular arms from previous construction and manufacturing jobs. Mesomorph

Personality:
ESTP-T, Extrovert

Shane conducts himself with a cock-sure grin and puffed-out chest, he is blunt and often insensitive; despite his arrogance, Shane knows when to bite his tongue and admit a mistake or take the blame for his failures. With clear-cut ambitions, Shane is extremely determined to reach his personal goals, being almost aggressively hardworking.

Shane can be extremely charismatic when the time calls for it, he enjoys being at the centre of attention, whether it be by cracking jokes or muttering snarky remarks with his sarcastic– occasionally dark sense of humour. He despises feeling out of control and insignificant, even stirring up fights in order to feel seen (if desperate enough).
Shane would rather use his fists than have some long-strung-out debate; he dislikes having dry argumentation that lamely fails to support his opinions, leading to no resolution to either side of a dispute, instead, he openly welcomes physical violence to end conflicts, snuff out frustration and exert pent-up energy.

He is rarely ill-intentioned, even with his cocky behaviour often rubbing off as domineering, he comes off as more aggressive than he means to be. Easily agitated, Shane’s short temper is often the reason for his aggressive outbursts, leading to his many scuffles on the street.
Shane is a maker of (in his opinion) practical decisions, he is extremely aware of his surroundings and knows when tough choices need to be made; occasionally his better decision making will be overthrown by his tempered nature.

Shane has many regrets and poor decisions he’s made in the past— keeping grudges against himself more than with past rivals.

Vices: Impulsive, brash, unstructured, impatient, aggressive
Virtues: Direct, sociable, practical, extroverted, determined

Likes: Smoking, boxing, wood works, running, canned peaches
Dislikes: Cowards, big words, thieves, the sea & lakes

Fear:
autophobia (fear of being alone)
claustrophobia (fear of confined spaces)
thalassophobia (fear of large bodies of water)
Hobbies: Carpentry, going for runs

History: Shane Matheson was born to Jane & Samuel Matheson on the 24th of January 1921. Growing up in a working-class family with no siblings, Shane’s parents constantly worked day and night— not having much time for their son. Shane grew resentful of his parents, not bothering to foster any kind of relationship with them; to this day he is unable to recall their last conversation.
As a child he’d spend his time outside: playing in the woods, getting lost in the city and playing baseball. While he grew up Shane picked up smoking, spending his time as a teenager getting into trouble with teachers, skipping class and landing himself in many detentions.

At the first chance he was given, Shane dropped out of high school and stopped returning to his childhood home almost immediately; taking up odd jobs all across Brooklyn to sustain himself, whether it be in construction, local restaurants, or at the docks as a shipyard worker. For a long time, this was life for Shane until after just a knock at the door, he was informed of his parent's death in a "Grizzly car accident." Despite 'having no care for his folks', Shane escorted himself to the nearest bar.

Distraught, drunk and conflicted, one encounter with a less-than-pleasant stranger lead to Shane’s pent-up emotions to finally burst, venting his emotions out in the only way he knew how; Shane bashed in the skull of the stranger and was soon arrested for second-degree murder.
When he was given the choice to either spend the rest of his life in prison or serve in the army, Shane gladly took up the second option, landing himself in the 107th Infantry Division as an automatic rifleman.

Name: André Peter Guillaume
Nickname: Andy — (Given to him by close friends & family) Broody — (Given to him by the men of Fox company)
Preferred Name: Andy
Ethnicity: African/African American
Age: 22
Date of Birth: June 3rd 1923, 11:02 AM
Place of Birth: Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts, United States
Role: Rifleman grenadier
Rank: Private (Pvt.)

Height: 5’10 (179 cm)
Weight: 148 lbs (67.1 kg)
Hair: Black
Eyes: Dark brown
Body: Lean & slender while being somewhat muscular from basic training— overall in good shape. Ectomorph

Personality:
INFJ-T, Introvert

André’s character is largely a mystery, as an extremely private individual he scarcely opens up, and when asked about his background, swiftly turns the question around. He is seen as a brooding lump of a man who seems to never be able to get his head out of the clouds— a wallflower.

André is extremely intuitive, having trained himself to not be aggravated easily he is level-headed and seen to be extremely mature— almost melancholy despite his younger age. He is an excellent problem solver and can take up many different perspectives to a challenge, with this he occasionally twists his persona to better fit the character of another person in order to be on the same wavelength as them.
It is rare to see André angry; his patience seems to run limitless, his family nor friends can remember his last(if he ever had one) fit of anger. He is aware of his hard shell which has yet to be cracked and has made peace with the chance that it possibly never will be.

Always speaking in a somewhat monotone voice, making it difficult for his comrades to tell whether he’s being sarcastic or not— Andre is a peacekeeper between his friends, largely disliking conflict— let alone warfare, always choosing to be the ‘bigger person’. André is quick to calm down escalating tensions and always tries to intervene in the occasional scuffle, even if he is widely unsuccessful.
Despite his closed-offedness, André often volunteered for more tedious tasks, always taking chances to assist others in any way he could which earned him a good reputation for his name.
Andre is organised and dislikes the sight of dirt, never exactly a germophobe, however, if it was anyone trying to push cleanliness, it was André.

André is a lover of the arts, extremely absorbed in painting, sculptures, music and the theatrical arts. He does not stray from philosophy and enjoys dwelling on the questions of old Greek philosophers, carrying many passages and quotes from books he has read, you could write books from his thoughts and if you were to allow him, André could ramble on for years about his passions.

Vices: extremely private, unambitious, conflict-averse, taciturn, sensitive to criticism
Virtues: Insightful, thoughtful, altruistic, empathetic, cunning
Likes: art, solving problems, planning, being indoors, cleanliness
Dislikes: uncleanliness, fascists, overly-aggressive individuals, closed-mindedness
Fears:
  • Thanatophobia (fear of losing someone through death)
  • Stultophobia (fear of being perceived as stupid)
  • catagelophobia (fear of being ridiculed)

Hobbies: studying, reading (for study & entertainment)

History: André is the oldest of a two-child family; being one of two brothers. His father came from a Haitian background, and so French became his secondary language. He studied incredibly hard during his years of schooling, tutoring his brother (Zacharie Guillaume), with his education; with a six-year age gap the two had a clash in interests but nevertheless enjoyed each other’s company.
André spent most of his spare time studying art history and philosophy, knowing that he wouldn’t be able to earn a good living off of these subjects decided to start studying law— not able to find it very interesting he became quickly bored of his classes.

Once André graduated, plans to go to college were made, picking up jobs alongside his brother in order to ensure some more financial stability to the family. He was accepted into a college, obtaining his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) after completing his three year course after which, he was accepted into Western New England Law school while working part-time at a local restaurant with his younger brother.
In the middle of his first year at Western New England Law studying Corporate law, he faced many accounts of racial discrimination which took more of a toll on his mental health than he initially expected; even though he had faced racial discrimination throughout his entire life André felt that the weight of it had finally begun catching up to him.

During one shift while André was taking out the rubbish, there was a ruckus coming from the kitchens. Hurriedly rushing back inside, he was informed of the stolen produce that had been found, stuffed into his brother’s bag. After many shouting-matches, claims of being framed, having no proof; André placed the blame onto himself and the two were fired, but with only André being arrested.
Later after being arrested he would ask Zacharie if he did really steal from the restaurant. When his younger brother would admit being guilty with a quiet “Yes.” André felt nothing but shame.
Expelled from his university, André decided it would be better to join the army rather than to rot in jail.

Name: Grayson Smith
Nickname: Gray
Preferred Name:
Ethnicity:
White
Age: 25
Date of Birth: Febuary 19th, 1919
Place of Birth: Seattle, Washington
Role: Rifleman
Rank: Private

Height: 5'10
Weight: 176
Hair: Brown
Eyes: Dark Brown
Body: He almost looks stout, like his head is too large for the rest of his body, but he is well toned and well abled.

Personality: Grayson if not anything else if fair. He has a very strong sence of justice, and that sence does not always follow how the real world works.

For the most part the man has moved on from how his younger self had felt, but even still, you can never truly get rid of what was. This shows through in small things: he has to constantly keep his temper in check, he doesn’t like being forced to do work, etc. But Grayson always tries to be better. Better for himself, better for his wife… better.

Having children softened him up, giving him qualities he wouldn’t otherwise such as, but not confined to the fact that he often tries to quip back to the other men, forgeting that he is no longer a father, but a man of the war.
Vices: Hot-headed, stubborn, sensitive, disconnected
Virtues: Kind, fair, hard-working,
Likes: Dusk and dawn, his family, forests, long walks, being in control
Dislikes: Abusers, the war, the justice system, the color green
Fear: Becoming like the man who raised him, his family dying
Hobbies: Singing, running

TW: ABUSE
History:
Graysons' life started out rough, so he grew up to be rougher. Right from the bat, he was concived from some fling and his mother didnt want to bear that shame so he was surrendered up to the hospital. He doesn't know his mothers name, where she came from, nor where she went and he defenetly doesnt want to know. But from the hospital he was placed into the foster system.

His first family took care of him until he was 2 years old, then claimed that they couldnt care for any chid older than that, so off to a new family he went. This pattern contined: Couples thinking they wanted a kid, then met with him, then deciding that they didnt want to "deal with him". The pattern continued until he reached once again, a new family, 14 at this point. He and a younger girl were sent to live with a family out in the middle of nowhere and right off the bat, things werent going too hot. The family was composed of the mother, father, and 3 other siblings. They ate what could only be called scraps, and even those had to be earned. Extreme tasks and chores and work met Grayson and the fellow foster kid, they grew close, going as far as Grayson developing a crush on the girl, Mary.

There he stayed for another 3 years of his life, because as much as he wanted to get out of there, there wasnt a lot that he could do and it wasnt like anyone would come to check up on the family. Those 3 years passed like hell, every day only fueled his hatred for the family, most especially the father. He hadnt seen anything his own self, but he knew that he mis-treated the women, and his made his gut clench to know that his love was being treated the same, but this passiveness didn't last much longer.

It was a winter day when he finally caught the man in the act. The father was beating Maryl, her face was already bleeding. in a moment of blind rage Grayson grabbed a spare kitchen knife and charged, his memory blank after. By the time he came to the father laid on the ground, more stab wounds then Grayson could count. The blood spattered all up his arms and clothes. The two met eyes and knew that they had to get out of there. They stole some clothes and food and ran, ran as far as they could until they met some traveler of somesort, they hopped on with him and were on the run ever sence.

Grayson and Mary got married, settling down in some off the map town. Together they had two kids and tried to do their best at raising them. Everything went down the drain when the police came. Turns out, the murder of that nice old man that lived way off there became a big thing, and the police only had one suspect: Grayson and his punishment came soon enough. Taken to court, he was given the option of prison or the war, and as much as mary didnt want him to go he didnt want to go to prison for an attack well warented so he chose the war.

Frank D'Amato.png

"Hitler gets my bayonet across the windpipe, Roosevelt changes Thanksgiving to Frank-D'Amato-Day and pays me ten grand a year for the rest of my fucking life."

NAME: Frank Angelo D'Amato
NICKNAMES: Frankie | Topino - meaning little mouse in Italian
PREFERRED NAMES: Frank or Frankie
ETHNICITY: Italian-American
AGE: 25
DATE OF BIRTH: 12th of November, 1918
PLACE OF BIRTH: New York City, New York
ROLE: Squad Leader
RANK: Staff Sergeant (Ssg.)

HEIGHT: 6'1 ft | 185 cm
WEIGHT: 184 lbs | 83 kg
HAIR: Black
EYES: Dark Brown
BODY: Lean

PERSONALITY:
Quick-witted and audacious, Frank isn't afraid to disagree with the status quo. In fact, he's not afraid to disagree with pretty much anything or anyone. Few things light him up more than a bit of verbal sparring – and if the conversation veers into controversial terrain, so much the better.
It would be a mistake, though, to think of him as disagreeable or mean-spirited. Instead, he's knowledgeable and curious, with a playful sense of humor, and he can be incredibly entertaining. He simply has an offbeat, contrarian idea of fun – one that involves a healthy dose of spirited debate.
He's known for his rebellious streaks. For him, no belief is too sacred to be questioned, no idea is too fundamental to be scrutinized, and no rule is too important to be broken, or at least thoroughly tested. Sometimes he'll even rebels against his own beliefs by arguing the opposing viewpoint – just to see how the world looks from the other side.
As Frank sees it, most people are too ready to do as they’re told and blindly conform to social norms, pressures, and standards. He enjoys the mental exercise of questioning the prevailing mode of thought, and he takes a certain pleasure in uncovering the value of underdogs and outliers. His active mind can’t help but rethink the things that everyone else takes for granted and pushes him in clever new directions.
While he loves to brainstorm and think big, he tends to avoid getting caught doing the “grunt work” of implementing his ideas. To some extent, this makes sense – Frank has far too many thoughts and suggestions to keep track of them all, let alone turn them into reality. But unless he develops the willingness to identify and actually follow through on his priorities, he may struggle to harness his full potential.
His capacity for debate is legendary, but that doesn’t mean that it’s always helpful. When he openly questions his boss in a meeting or pick apart everything his significant other says, he may think that he's being a champion of rationality and logic. But he may also be doing his chances of success and happiness more harm than good.
Not every occasion calls for Frank's default contrarianism, and most people can only stand to have their beliefs questioned and their feelings brushed aside for so long. As a result, he may find that his quarrelsome fun burns many bridges, often inadvertently. He's respected for his vision, confidence, knowledge, and keen sense of humor – but unless he cultivates a bit of sensitivity, he may struggle to maintain deeper relationships or even to achieve his professional goals.
With time, he often realizes that his ideal life involves other people and that spending too much energy on “winning” arguments ultimately means robbing himself of the support that he needs to get where he wants to be in life. The good news is that Frank will never lose his sharply nonconformist edge. He can simply use his cognitive flexibility to understand and explore other people’s perspectives, recognizing the value of consideration and compromise alongside logic and progress.
VIRTUES:
Knowledgeable
– He rarely passes up a good opportunity to learn something new, especially abstract concepts. This information isn’t usually absorbed for any planned purpose as with dedicated studying, Frank finds it fascinating.
Quick Thinkers – He has a tremendously flexible mind, and he's able to shift from idea to idea without effort, drawing on his accumulated knowledge to prove his point, or his opponents’, as he see fit.
Original – Having little attachment to tradition, he's able to discard existing systems and methods and pull together disparate ideas from his extensive knowledge base, with a little raw creativity to hold him together, to formulate bold new ideas. If presented with chronic, systemic problems and given rein to solve them, he responds with unabashed glee.
Excellent Brainstormers – Nothing is quite as enjoyable to Frank as analyzing problems from every angle to find the best solutions. Combining his knowledge and originality to splay out every aspect of the subject at hand, rejecting without remorse options that don’t work and presenting ever more possibilities, he's irreplaceable in brainstorming sessions.
Charismatic – Frank has a way with words and wit that others find intriguing. His confidence, quick thought and ability to connect disparate ideas in novel ways create a style of communication that is charming, even entertaining, and informative at the same time.
Energetic – When given a chance to combine these traits to examine an interesting problem, he can be truly impressive in his enthusiasm and energy, having no qualms with putting in long days and nights to find a solution.

VICES:
Very Argumentative
– If there’s anything Frank enjoys, it’s the mental exercise of debating an idea, and nothing is sacred. More consensus-oriented people rarely appreciate the vigor with which he tears down their beliefs and methods, leading to a great deal of tension.
Insensitive – Being so rational, he often misjudges others feelings and pushes his debates well past others’ tolerance levels. Frank doesn’t really consider emotional points to be valid in such debates either, which magnifies the issue tremendously.
Intolerant – Unless people are able to back up their ideas in a round of mental sparring, he's likely to dismiss not just the ideas but the people themselves. Either a suggestion can stand up to rational scrutiny or it’s not worth bothering with.
Can Find It Difficult to Focus – The same flexibility that allows him to come up with such original plans and ideas makes him readapt perfectly good ones far too often, or to even drop them entirely as the initial excitement wanes and newer thoughts come along. Boredom comes too easily for him, and fresh thoughts are the solution, though not always a helpful one.
Dislike Practical Matters – He's interested in what could be – malleable concepts like ideas and plans that can be adapted and debated. When it comes to hard details and day-to-day execution where creative flair isn’t just unnecessary but actually counter-productive, Frank loses interest, often with the consequence of his plans never seeing the light of day.
LIKES:
+ Soccer

HISTORY:
Frank's family emigrated from Italy to the U.S in 1915, the reason behind it was the ongoing war in Europe. The D'Amato's settled down in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn - New York City's Little Italy. Three years later Giovanni & Maria had their first and only son, Frank Angelo D'Amato.
Growing up life was rather poor. In order to save money they lived together with Giovanni's parents and two brothers in a cramped apartment. Everyone did what they could to chip in and help around as much as possible. Giovanni worked in construction and Maria worked at the local grocery store, it wasn't much but it was something.
His grandparents was always fond of preserving the Italian culture and cuisine in the household. They only spoke Italian at home in order to make sure Frank would be fluent in the language, his grandfather played a lot of soccer with him and his grandmother taught him about the Italian operas.
At the age of nine his parent's savings was enough to get their own place and to do what they had always dreamt of, opening a restaurant. However, there was a lot of planning and preparation before they could open up the doors. For an entire summer Frank helped his parents with renovations of what would eventually become D'Amato's, an authentic family-owned Italian restaurant. In the spring of 1928 they had their first customers and would later become a very popular restaurant for the pizza & pasta lovers of Brooklyn.

Fast forward to 1932, it was time for Frankie to begin high school. These years would have a lot bigger impact on the future of his life than he could have ever imagined. It was during high school he met Flavio, the son of Tommy Lucchese - an Italian-American gangster and founding member of the Mafia in the U.S. Not something Frank was aware of.
It didn't take long for Frank and Flavio to become close friends. Most of their free time was spent together and they even played in the same soccer team.
It wasn't until the end of their Junior year that Frank found out about the Lucchese's, that they were a Mafia crime family. At first he was repulsed when he was told the truth... ...that was until he was offered a job and got a look at the paycheck.
Frank's job was easy, he would help Flavio sell various narcotics around New York. His responsibilities would become more and more as the time passed, so would the importance of his jobs.

When Frank graduated in 1936 he began working part-time as a bartender at the restaurant, even though he worked for the Lucchese's now, they respected that he wanted to help with his family's business.
Since both Frank and Flavio was considered adults now, they went from two teenage-boys selling drugs, to two men responsible for the shipments of narcotics. It was in the Mafia Frank got his nickname Topino, (meaning little mouse in Italian). Why you might ask? This guy was light on his feet and could smell bullshit from miles away.

He worked with the Lucchese's until 1942. When they wanted him to begin kidnapping, torturing and murdering people Frank was out. Unfortunately for him, they didn't take this all too well.
On a dark fall evening, five men entered D'Amatos and shot up the restaurant killing both of his parents. He swore to have the murderers dead before the first snow fall, one of the men had been identified as Flavio Lucchese.
Frank planned his revenge for months in detail. He was to throw a molotov cocktail in to one of their main stashes of narcotics, he knew that would set them back millions and millions of dollars.
However, nothing went as planned... He ended up not only burning down their drugs, but the entire building with innocent people asleep inside.
Frank was arrested later that week and found guilty of arson and homicide.

In court he was given a choice by the judge, life in prison or going to war. Like many others he chose to go to war and joined the Devil's Marauders.
