Private Rp between the author (MControl) and select friends. Feel free to borrow this adaptation of the game 'Dark Souls' as long as you give credit. This Rp is an adaptation of the Dark Souls game for a group of three 'PC's and a GM. The Outline follows a particular path through the story, though it is open enough to allow for changes. It will also include the Covenants as best i can, including invades.
Each character is free for the PCs to create, though a discussion has to be made with the GM to fine tune the character into an entity suitable for the Dark Souls world.
Character Description should look something like
Name: Oscar
Homeland: Astora
Combat orientation: While he tends to rely on the classic "sword and board", he wields his weapons with finesse, often turning the tables on those who would strike against him
Character bio:
Since this is being done intentionally with people who have little to no experience with the game, it will be up to the GM to determine classes, stat layouts, starting equipment, etc... according to the PCs character description.
For the Players: Dark medieval Fantasy is the setting, with swords and sorceries abound. Also note that, due to where you will start, you will likely not be able to sneak in any 'heirlooms' or weapons of any variety. If its a character plot point, PM the GM, and something may be worked out.
In the Age of Ancients,The world was unformed, shrouded by fog.
A land of grey crags, archtrees, and everlasting dragons
But then there was Fire.And with Fire came Disparity.
Heat and cold, life and death, and of course... Light and Dark.
Then, from the Dark, They came,and found the Souls of Lords within the flame.
Nito, the First of the Dead.
The Witch of Izalith, and her daughters of Chaos.
Gwyn, the Lord of Sunlight, and his faithful knights.
And the furtive pygmy, so easily forgotten.
With the Strength of Lords,they challenged the dragons.
Gwyn's mighty bolts peeled apart their stone scales.
The witches weaved great firestorms.
Nito unleashed a miasma of death and disease.
And Seath the Scaleless betrayed his own, and the dragons were no more.
Thus began the Age of Fire. . .
But soon, the flames will fade, and only Dark will remain.
Even now, there are only embers, and man sees not light, but only endless nights.
And amongst the living are seen, carriers of the accursed Darksign.
Humans and Undead went crazy.Hollowing and hollowing.
One by one.It could've been mere months before the End.
Survive...
