Name: Captain Adair Connor
Nickname: "The Bloodhound"
Age: 27
Ethnicity: Half English, half Spaniard
Personality: Adair is a gregarious personality, quick-witted, and affable. He not only leads his men, but is friends with them, gaining their respect not through fear, but through trust. Not to say he is an easy-going fellow all the time. He demands hard work from his crew, and is ruthless in his quest for wealth, be it through fabled buried treasure, looting travelling trade vessels, or sacking ports. He is a pirate, after all, and you don't want a mutiny on your hands. A freedom-loving spirit, he spats at the constructs that govern the lands, finding them to be 'just another selfish tyrant taking from the common man'. He fancies himself a Robin Hood type figure, taking from the rich, and, well... not giving to the poor, but himself. He isn't an exclusively good or bad person, he's simply a pirate.
History: Few know of Captain Connor's history, and few does he deign to tell. It seems it remains a mystery, to be revealed at his discretion...

Name: Marley Amalia Oaken
Age: 18
Nicknames: Mar most of the time,but occasionally people will call her Mo
Ethnicity: 50% Italian and 50% English.
Personality: Marley is the type of person who likes a rush,but won't necessarily go out and look for it.Any situation that could turn exciting is a situation she wants to be a part of.Boring isn't a word she is fond of.Tomboy best describes Marley.She is not a girly girl at all and she'd rather get down and dirty than get pampered at a spa...however,if somebody wants to purchase a massage for her,she will not turn it down.While she is a whiz with language,her favorite has to be the language of sarcasm.She is never without a sarcastic quip and she finds great humor in the "art form".Since she was old enough to comprehend things,she has loved to learn and she is rather smart.It helps her in most cases,but sometimes she has a hard time thinking through things which causes her to burn herself out,thus losing any sort of control she has and turning practically useless.
History: Marley's father was a diplomat in Italy and her mother was a chef at a local restaurant.One night,when her father had had a long day,he went to her restaurant and was stunned by the amazing dish presented to him.He asked if he could speak to the chef and the rest is history.Marley was born and would be their only child.Surprisingly enough,none of her parents' interests were shared with her.She literally blew up an oven in an attempt to make some sort of...she can't even remember.All she can remember is flour being everywhere.She had no interest in law.What she was interested in was language and her guitar.She put all of her spare time to learning a new chord or something about another language.Now,aside from Italian (which she had to learn since she lived in Italy for most of her life) and English (due to her mother being a native of London),she is fluent in Spanish,French,Russian (her favorite),and knows enough of German to carry on a nice conversation (she had a lot of time on her hands).When she was fifteen,her father retired and her mother got a job at a popular venue in Florida.They moved to the United States shortly after she accepted the offer and they've lived there ever sense.
