Map of Erebus

Standard RPnation rules apply. Cursing is allowed. When clothes come off, fade to black. Same with gore.

Speacial Note: Death is escapable. During the course of this RP, if your character dies, you will be able to have your character/s come back to life. Depending on the skills of the members of the group, it is possible for you to be resurrected. If none of the other RPers are able to resurrect you, you will go too one of three places. Evil characters will go too hell, where they must face the challenges of the realms of the evil gods and become a demon, or show that they are truly good, and return to the mortal world. If you are neutral, you will go to Arawn (god of death), and he will put you into the miscellaneous pile of souls, but you will gain a large connection to the main story, more than likely the third arc, so you can get your dead characters back. Good people may come back as angels, but with limited abilities based around the gods. You won't be an archangel, and the only thing that you will without a doubt get out of the deal are a pair of wings and a minor increase to your strength. However, if you die on your second life, you are dead. Permanently.

Magic chart/ connections

Magic: You will start out with limited amounts of magic, and slowly get stronger as the RP progresses

Religion: There are ten religions and several smaller cults, each one having some special abilities, but limited for the sake of the RP

Fellowship of Leaves: Super tree huggers. Worship god of nature, Cernunnos

Runes of Kilmorph: Based on money, gold, mining. Worship goddess of the earth, Kilmorph

Order: Super Christians on steroids. Worship god of order, Junil

Empyrean: Democracy+ worshiping the sun. Worship the sun god, Lugus

Ashen Veil: Satan worshipers on crack with real demons. Worship the God of Dispair, Agares

The White Hand: Socilist mixed with ice. Worship the dead god of winter, Mulcarn

Octopus Overlords: Cthulu with lucid dream powers. Worship the dreams of the god of water, Danalin

Council of Esus: Thieves and the like, with a bit of magic. Worship the god of Deception, Esus

Children of the One: Considered crazy, they believe that the gods were really created by a single god, called "The One". Worship The One

Dragon Cults: Geek fandom gone murderous and crazy. Worship the various dragons on Erebus, like Acheron the Red Dragon or Eurabatres the Gold Dragon

You may also profess yourself directly to an individual god, without the middleman of an actual religion.

Most of the cults are to small to really be considered religions, but the Dragon Cults are actually semi popular

Races: There are many races native to the land of Erebus

Ljoslafar- Wood elf, hate Svartalfar. Archers and druids. Use deer, elk, moose, etc as mounts.

Svartalfar- Dark Elf, hate Ljoslafar. Skilled illusionists and assassins. Use panthers as mounts.

Once Elf- Elves returned from the land of Arawn, have pale skin and weak eyes, but are powerful mages.

Human- Bog standard human

Centuar- While faster than most of the other races, most locations are not built with their accommodations in mind.

Luchrip- Dwarves that use golems, along the lines of gnomes. While physically weaker than the Khazad, they are actively able to use magic.

Khazad- Standard dwarves. Unable to use magic at all. Have a natural skill with gunpowder weapons.

Lamia- With the torso of a human and the lower body of a gigantic snake, Lamia are mostly unliked and feared. They also have many of the same problems as centaurs.

Orc- One of the most hated and feared races of Erebus, these beings have a natural fire resistance and are nearly triple the strength of a normal human. However, they are usually slower than the other races, and mostly rely on their pure brute strength. Are not the brightest of races.

Goblins- Small, scheming, and conniving, goblins are everything that the standard orc is not. Smarter than the average human, they make excellent scouts, assassins, and thieves due to their natural ability to not be smashed by a rampaging ogre.

Demon- Must go through all stages of hell.

Angel- Must be good, must die

Half-elf- Made from the union of a human and an elf. Depending on which parent is the elf and which is the human, they will inherit different traits.

Alignment: Standard DnD alignments
