Name: Shango Syringae

Age: 98

Gender: Male

Species: Elf

Biography:

Born in a far-off fortress town in Encarcine, Shango was raised with very little friends to play and grow up with. Despite the high walls which barred Shango away from the rest of the world, he was more than a friend of nature. In fact, nature would be there when Shango felt the most lonely, even when others leave. It had caused Shango to develop a very reclusive nature.

When he came to the right age, Shango began his training as a guardian of the princess by the elders of the village. He was raised to be very masculine and to hold very conservative values. Many of these values failed to make it to Shango, however.

Shango had no siblings. His father died serving the princess, his mother never re-marrying. He was quite privileged, however, being the only child in the village. He recieved the highest quality education as well as the best toys. By the way, my favorite icecream is green tea used as the filling for mochi.

100 was the age set for Shango to complete his training. However, two years early, his village was attacked by an unknown army. As his elders fought, Shango could only hide and cower. Evidently, he was the only one left of his village to survive.

He had spent every day since then crying.

Appearance:

Shango possesses very masculine features overwhelmed by very feminine features making appear very feminine. Most noticeably, Shango has a very manly jaw with a strong chin. However, his facial features are soft, Shango lacking any wrinkles to make him very rough. In addition, he lacks noticeable facial hair- being young relative to an elf, Shango lacks the ability to grow facial hair save for a pair of thick black eyebrows. His thick black hair is worn long and shaggy.

His body is tall, lithe, and skinny. He was built primarily for athleticism and can in fact run quite fast and very far. However, he lacks any sort of physical strength evident by his lack of muscular bulk.

Shango wears a special mesh woven from the webs of spiders combined with special magic of the village elders. Despite being able to keep Shango warm, the fiber is in fact very thin. It is green in color and looks like a hooded jacket with acorn heads as buttons. The hood bears resemblance to a leaf.

Personality:

Due to seclusion in childhood, Shango has grown to be incredibly reserved and shy. Due to a lack of communication with his peers, Shango has also developed slight social retardation; being unable to communicate properly even to other people of his own age and race.

In addition, Shango is very quiet. He doesn't speak often and when he does it is only when he needs something. However, he often finds himself in trouble because of his incapability of asking for help. When he does feel the possibility to be helpless, he attempts to avoid the problem- most times trying to ignore its existence.

Raised by the strong and noble elders of his village, however, Shango learned to be somewhat assertive. He is capable of defending himself when need be and can survive for years on his own.

I-I don't know.

Name:

Kyros Livas

Age:

119

Gender:

Male

Species:

Hybrid Elf/Human

Biography:

When Kyros was just a young boy, about 10 years old, he had watched the Evil Witch be hanged, and executed. He was confused about the whole situation involving the princess. His parents told him the princess was good, but after the execution, he wasn't so sure. Kyros could sense things about people, and he didn't believe the witch was bad. Ever since then, his life goal was to execute the princess.

Kyros lived in the beautiful villages of Encarcine for a portion of his life. It was mostly his childhood. His mother always seemed to hide him away from the world a lot of the time, and Kyros had never really known why. Until he turned 20, when he was banished from the villages. They told him he was a hybrid. A human hybrid. Kyros took a while to process what had happened, since he had no idea what they were talking about.
He was a hybrid? Both of his parents were elves, therefore it made no sense to him. Although, soon Kyros' mother approached him in the villages of Benou (where he was forced to now live in), and told him the truth. She fell in love with a human years ago, but the man had soon died of his short lifespan, and had grown too old. After that, she knew she had to do something so her baby wouldn't be banished, and she had an affair with an elf so she could tell him the baby was his. The 'father' never found out until Kyros was banished, and now the mother would be banished as well.

After all of the family drama that occured in Kyros' life, he settled down in Benou, and practised archery and sword-fighting. He sometimes visits the Evil Witch's grave, and the last time he did, she told him he had to kill the princess. And that is exactly what he plans on doing.

Appearance:

large.jpg

Personality:

Kyros is stubborn, grumpy, and a try-hard. He perseveres with his goals until he achieves them, and he doesn't plan on
not achieving them. He goes by the saying "or I'll die trying". Kyros doesn't have many friends, usually only common acquaintances that he sees in the village. It's tough for him to form a friendship with anyone, and he always feels empty inside. Knowing that he's hybrid makes him feel like an outcast, and he knows now that he has a shorter lifespan along with it too.

Village:

Benou

Are you willing to battle the Princess?:

Hell yes.

My favourite ice cream flavour is mint chip. ^^

Name: Kalliste "Kalli"

Age: 65 (subject to change...?)

Gender: Feminine

Species: Witch

Biography: Back in the days before the kidnapping, or even birth, of princess Lux, Kalliste's family resided in the Alav Palace Villages, living in a life of luxury. However, the Vervains, as they were called, were a family of witches, and, though their high rank and longstanding wealth shielded the immediate family, many of their relatives were consumed by the flames during the royal family's search for the kidnapped princess. At when Acerbus was finally found, Kalliste's parents were hiding out with a distant relative not too far from the witch's home, as it turned out. Curious to see what kind of witch would commit an action that would bring suspicion on their kind, the couple attended the execution, and were surprised to see someone who seemed at least semi-coherent and decent. They did not, however, attempt to shield the witch, for they were not entirely sure that believing her was the right thing to do, but they did, in fact, help with her burial. Due to the witch's warnings they also decided that, should they have a child, they would make sure to keep him or her as far from the royal family as possible.

Years later, when the Vervains were at least semi-comfortable in their Alvan home, Kalli was born. The yearly execution acting only to confirm her parents' decision, Kalli spent only a couple years with her birth family before she was bestowed upon a travelling bardess named Euterpe. Hesitant to take the child at first, Euterpe's mixed fae blood was what convinced her to take pity on the girl in the end.

As she aged Kalli quickly forgot her heritage and embraced life with Eutrepe. In return, the bardess treated her like a daughter and passed along a variety of skills to the girl, none of which she mastered, for she had yet to learn her true calling. However, when Kalli was fifteen, tragedy struck. The village that they were visiting happened to be the one chosen by the soldiers to supply a victim for that year's execution, and, as luck would have it, Kalli was almost chosen. It was only Eutrepe's intervention that prevented the young girl's demise.

What happened after that, however, is known only to Kalli herself and those she interacted with. However, for the past few decades she has around as a healer, using magic, herbal remedies, and anything else that has learned to cure even the most stubborn of illnesses. Where she received her initial training is unknown, though as she travels she continues to learn, despite how she is already one of the most talented healers around.

Appearance:

Blonde-hair-animes-anime-30920322-500-632.jpg

Personality: True to her status as a fairly young member of her species, Kalli occasionally is guilty of being rather idealistic. Despite the fact that she is fully aware that the princess is guilty for her mentor's death, Kalli nonetheless believes that even the princess is a good person deep inside. Therefore, she has set out on a one woman crusade to help as many people as possible. Rather than believing in guilt or innocence, she has taken the stand that everyone can be saved, and in this process she has always put others before herself. However, as she does this, Kalli is prone to push herself to, and occasionally beyond, her own limit, as well as leave herself open to be used by others.

While kind and somewhat naive, Kalli is not helpless. Euterpe did teach her apprentice how to defend herself, and, despite the fact that she does not know who her family is, she has inherited their capability to cast powerful magic, though she does not generally use her skills against people. However, as much of a happy-go-lucky romanticist as she is, even Kalli is capable of being angry, and when she is, her anger runs cold, and tends to make you feel shameful of whatever actions they committed to make her so.

Village: She's a wanderer, so she doesn't have a town she calls her own

Are you willing to battle the Princess?: To an extent- She would assist a rebellion (though she would likely do so as a healer, and if she happened to be on a battlefield, she would not kill anyone), but she would not support in the killing of the princess.

Orbs of light could be seen around him, and his nurses report seeing him levitating above the bed while sleeping. He had a miraculous recovery from a disease seldom few survive with out scars.
