Age: 16

Gender: Male

Appearance: He is 175 cm (5'8'') tall and weights 68 kg (149 lbs). He has short light brown hair and light brown eyes, his skin is tan and his body slim, while still managing to be quite fit. His most defining feature is his bright smile and and his sharp left canine (the other is normal).

(You didn't mention if you wanted an image or a description so I used both.)

School year: 2nd

Position: Point Guard

Role: Captain

Personality: In his everyday life, Akira is all smiles and positiveness. He doesn't see everything as rosy as he claims to, but he doesn't like being negative and brooding about all the bad things that happen in life - and, of course, in the court. He is always full of energy during practice and on court, and he never loses his optimism, even when facing a clearly stronger opponent. He is, however, very serious about winning and can lose his cool, even be mean, when faced with a certain loss and a team unwilling to put their all into the game.

Court strengths: He is fast and agile and his shots have a very high percentage of finding the basket.

Court weaknesses: His build is not the ideal for basketball and he is most likely to lose a height or strength competition. He is not one of the most weak players when it comes to physical strength but he's not one of the best either. He's also bad at rebounding.

Play-style: Offensive.

Any signature moves?: The evasion of multiple players through the use of his speed and agility (unfortunately, I don't have a name for it. Yet.)

Bio: Akira was born and raised in the Onna village of the Okinawa Prefecture. He was always seen playing in the beach and helping his parents with their family business. He started playing basketball with some of his friends on a court by the beach three years ago, and has dedicated a lot of his time into the sport ever since. He moved out of Onna village a few months ago, when his parents decided to divorce.

Player Character Sheet

Name: Touru Kashamushi

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Appearance:

image.jpg
[/url]

Touru is very tall, standing at 187.96cm (exactly 6'2 for you Americans like me). He also weighs 63.05kg (139 pounds). His eyes are also a blank gray color.

School year: 1st

Position: Power Forward

Role(Captain, Vice-captain or normal player?): Player

Personality: In a nutshell, Touru's personality is relaxed. He doesn't get angry in an academic situation or uncomfortable in another. He tries to be as laid back as possible off the court. Overall, his attitude towards people is generally positive. He doesn't proactively seek out or deter new friends, he just happens to meet people with common interests who he enjoys being around. His voice is naturally soft, so he isn't capable of speaking to groups or communicating across the court so Touru has learned to speak through his actions instead. He has learned that people like things as slight as picking up a pencil they dropped in class for them. He enjoys doing those things too.

Court strengths: Touru's play style one the court is the exact opposite of his general demeanor. His movements are explosive and he darts across the court like he a bed. His ball handling skills are his greatest skill though. If he is changing direction so fast, he needs to know how. On a drive he will also make an early cross on the nearest person. This of course however is rarely planned. He relies mainly on his instincts to tell him what to do.

Court weaknesses: His aggressiveness leave Touru open to many things. He does not slow his pace ever, so in a slow game, he has difficulties making plays or even computing the plan. The slower the game gets, the more his aggressiveness is rendered useless.

Play-style (Like aggressive, defensive or even a mix between these two): Hyper-Aggressive

Any signature moves? (Like a special fake or a dunk only you are able to pull out. You can name them, but keep them balanced): I'd find it fun if other people would slowly just name the moves. It adds a certain element of wonder to the skills each individual player has.

Fake Drive: A quick drive, in which Touru fakes a crossover and drives past the defender, maybe with an inch between there shoulders.

Spinning Layup: A layup in which Touru's hands are almost at the level of the backboard. Before releasing, Touru spins himself in a 360° spin and lowers his hands then releases. It looks exactly like a side-dunk, until Touru passes your block.

Bio (Doesn't have to be much, I mostly just want to know how your character found their passion for basketball): At a very young age, Touru's parents moved away to America to work. It was before summer had started. Touru's father had promised him that he would show him one thing that was the most fun Touru would ever have done. That promise turned into Touru's love for basketball. He spent most of his time playing it and makes sure to keep himself in the best physical condition he can.

Name:

Neji Inoue

Age:

16

Gender:

Male

Appearance:

1zgunvk.jpg

Neji is 210 cm (6' 11") and weighs in just around 100 kg (220 lbs), this makes him a giant compared to the average person. He has a strange blue-ish hair which is natural, his blue hair complements his blue eyes. His most defining feature has to be his height other than that he is a rather forgetful face, or would be.

School year:

1st year

Position:

Center

Role:

Vice-captain.

Personality:

Neji often displays himself as a cool-headed, though lazy and bored individual. He is described as being rather depressing, showing dislike in many things, yet little interest in activities that he does enjoy, or even his own future. Furthermore, Neji has shown that he is a pessimist, he believes that surviving in the world would only come out of the individual's own power. While not acting it or looking it he is quite intelligent. they is only one time when Neji really looks like he is enjoying himself and that's when he is play basketball. Neji can often be far more twisted then he leads others to believe. He is cruel and occasionally sadistic. During a match, Neji often sports a wide grin and a tendency to laugh giddily about close games. He also displays more evident signs of arrogance and superiority towards his opponents. Neji often boasts about his strength and speaks to his opponents in a more mocking tone. Nevertheless, Neji retains a somewhat carefree attitude during the match. If a game is going very bad and his team is losing badly Neji often gets angered and ends up scoring foul after foul.

Court strengths:

He is a giant so he has the height advantage over most others.

His giant hands make the ball harder to steal from him.

He has a brutish amount of strength.

He has a giant jump thanks to his legs size.

Very fast thanks to his legs size.

He has a firm grasp over street ball and knows how it is plan.

Court weaknesses:

Lack of overall skill moves (he can only fake at best).

Can bump into smaller players giving a foul.

He finds it hard to keep a clam head when losing.

He gets overly confident while having a lead of over 6 points.

While knowing street ball he can't use it for very much only particular dribbling and passing techniques.

He can't fully control his strength making it so that his passes require more effort to catch.

Play-style:

Mixed

Any signature moves:

Due to his abnormally huge hands he has the right of postponement (Teppei Kiyoshi special move).

Due to him have full double jointed arms, wrist and fingers he can pull off passes and shots like no one else giving his right of postponement more opportunities

Bio: Neji was born in Nara city in the Nara prefecture located in the Kansai region of japan. Neji was raised just by his mother after his father up and left her. Neji was always very tall and since he never fought back was often picked on because of it, lucky Neji never let it bother him. As life went on Neji got picked on more by being bad a nearly every sport, NEARLY every sport. One day while walking home and passing a local basketball court the ball landed by Neji feet him only being 12 at the time but being the height of 15 or 16 year old the group playing asked him to play since they needed another play, never played before Neji got the basics rapidly. Night came and as it did they group asked him if he wanted to join them tomorrow saying yes he went back for days on end and he grew to love the sport. Sadly him and his mother had to move when she got a job in a new place, but by the end of their last session together Neji was the best there by a long shot and since then he had only got better.

School year: 1st year

Position: small forward

Role: Normal player

Personality: He is generally shy, humble and polite is shown to be quite introverted due to having little to no meaningful contact with others. In social party situations, he is shown to be quite uncomfortable. He chooses to shut out the world usually by wearing headphones. He never thinks anything he does is right always trying to stay adaptable as if not to ruin anyone's life. When playing he is fairly clear minded focusing on getting the ball into the hoop and not messing up.

Court strengths: he knows how to shoot, dunk, lay up, rebound, and perform cross overs and get to the goal usually being faster and more flexible and agile than his opponent he is particularly good at formless shots from what he practiced.

Court weaknesses: He doesn't and has never played from the outside and because of this his shooting percentage accuracy is low meaning he want make many shoots nor does he feel comfortable.

Play-style (Like aggressive, defensive or even a mix between these two): Passive Aggressive

Any signature moves?: Nope

Bio: Being born with in a military family he moved around a lot and had to learn to adapt to new surrounding and people. He never really liked being himself always feeling like a burden being afraid and awkward all the time made life a bit hard, even being forced into activities all he did was contribute to a teams failure and his own despair. He was not his father favorite child obviously as well as never even hanging around his siblings much either since he didn't enjoy going places amusement parks and other vacation were ruined bu his dark aura that showed in family pictures. The only thing he ever did good was of physiological capabilities like jumping and running. Around the mid year of middle school his parents ended up splitting and he ended up living with his mom and his little sister who has shown to suffer from the same curse he did this made them extremely close when ever she was down he picked her up and she grew and found a love for ballet even teaching him ballet. Though being that that was to girly she forced him into basketball it looked like ballet just minus the ball and not wanting to disappoint his only true friend he will join the high school basketball team. He practiced a bit with some random guys before actually trying out he actually beat them all even pulling insane shots from what he learned from dancing with his sister.

Wow, after a long time I decided to disappoint you guys with this heck of a person~ Also, is framing a thing in basketball? Or am I making up therms? Expect bad art for the OC's appearance in some time, though. Excuse the whole character concept, as well. (Don't hate me, OKAY?)

P.S.: I noticed there is an advertisement on the name of his first signature move xD I don't know if I should laugh or cry, though//

Name: 鈴木健太郎 (Suzuki Kentarou)

Age: 16 (and a half, by that)

Gender: Male

Appearance: Kentarou is 174 cm (5'8) tall and 68 kg (150 lbs), making him at a normal BMI of 22,5. He has quite some muscle tone, especially on his legs, as he used to be on the track team, but not as much on his arms. His body type is rectangular, which makes it the usual shape for a sportsman. His face is round and his eyes are also round.

His hair colour is the typical dark brown for a Japanese man, and his eyes are the same as well, although slightly lighter. As for his hairstyle, it's medium-lenght, messy and naturally straight, although it looks as though he straightens it beforehand with heat.

Kentarou's usual attire includes T-shirts and jeans along with light-coloured sneakers, most often Asics (as he likes their running shoes). At school, though, he wears the given to him uniform the way it is supposed to be worn, without modifying it or anything.

School year: Second Year

Position: Short Forward or Center

Role: Normal Player

Personality: He is a very cheerful person, casual with most people and chatty as well. Once he starts talking, you can't really shut him up. He is very confident about his abilities, intelligence, looks and so on that it could get annoying quite quickly. Kentarou wants to be among the best of the best despite his actual abilities - he strives for the top and tries very hard, at that, although he has been playing basketball since his first year in high school.

He wants to be a leader and do his best to motivate his team mates. as well as fill them with hope during play. Personality-wise, he is fit for a captain or vice-captain, but ability-wise - well... Not even half as appropriate for the role. He has the will and capacity to spend hours upon hours training, but that gets unhealthy for him as he happens often to overwork his muscles and get cramps, but he also gets too tired for the next day, so he should be scolded once in a while for overdoing it - just for his own health.

Kentarou could be called ignorant, as he doesn't really care about the world surrounding him, nor what's going on with anyone's life. What's even more frustrating about him is that he constantly watches the "true leaders of the team", as he refers to the captain and vice-captain, and point out even the smallest mistake they do about their leadership and the way they treat the other players .(He does that due to jealousy, though. Pure jealousy...) Also, he is a hopeless romantic, never getting the girls, but always getting distracted by them. That is quite problematic, though.

Court strengths: What makes him special on court is his footwork and speed, as well as his ability to block. His bird's eye view and analysing skills are amazing while in play despite his ignorance in everyday life. Stealing the ball from other players is an unexpected talent of his.

Court weaknesses: The inaccuracy in his passes, as well as barely scoring any points from dunks or three-pointers - the chance of him getting the ball inside the basket is 25%, usually from two-point shots. Also him bumping into a lot of the players, especially opponents, risks him of making fouls and getting kicked out of play at one point.

Play-style: It's almost only on the defensive side.

Any signature moves?: Lightspeed Theft - That's when he quickly catches up to an opponent and steals the ball from their side, a little bit behind them. It usually results in the ball bouncing off the ground in his direction(behind the opponent), then catching it and continuing with a dribble.

Bio: (I am unsure whether I was acting serious or not... Don't kick me out of this RP, plzzzzzzz(with extra 'z's at the end, though)! Also, I apologise for the shortness of his bio, as... well... I have no excuse, whatsoever.) He doesn't have much of an interesting history, as he is the usual happy-go-lucky guy, raised by caring parents, with an annoying little brother and a grandma that only God knows why she lives with them. He, as a badass fancy popular pimp, got all the ladies at the age of seven with his running skills. Man, did the ladies love dah booty and dem legs~

When he became a freshman in highschool, he had a crush on a girl who happened to be obsessed with basketball players. He HAD to impress her, of course, so he signed up for the basketball team to "quickly learn basketball and get the girl with his awesome skillz", as he described it. As he never really had an interest in this particular sport, he of course had no idea what the basics are, what's left to put them in play.

In the first official match of the team, he was benched (why am I not surprised...) and didn't get to play. The crush was disappointed and, since she was in his class, made embarrassing for Kentarou comments about the fact he didn't get to play, including his abilities, which she was not familiar with. And thus he was heartbroken, but that just made him realise what a terrible person she was and motivated him to train even harder (especially for the females~). That's how he got to the position he was in and the reason to not let any of his teammates feel down about their abilities or about themselves in total.

Court strengths: What makes him special on court is his footwork and speed, as well as his ability to block and frame(if that's what it's called) the opposing team.

Pressure - The (unofficial) name speaks for itself - pressuring an opponent with a frame (GAH, I HAVE NO IDEA IF THAT'S WHAT IT'S CALLED! I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT BASKETBALL, SO I AM SO SORRY) usually behind them, making them lose concentration and most often miss the shot, which opens up for a rebound for his teammates. It's not actually a special move, as anyone can do that, BUT(T) he can do it better (At least in his mind... As for reality - screw that!)

Bio: (I am unsure whether I was acting serious or not... Don't kick me out of this RP, plzzzzzzz(with extra 'z's at the end, though)! Also, I apologise for the shortness of his bio, as... well... Fact: Every basketball team has a womanizer on it.

That's the best thing about sportsmen in general! I thought Kentarou should take the top pedestal when it comes to women, although... he never actually gets the girls. (Forever alone... That's his fate, I guess, haha.)

Name: Tarou Katate

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Appearance: 6'4" 170lbs or 190.3 cm 77kgs

<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_06/image.jpg.206c4e4154e2a1132599a0a165b8692d.jpg" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="135949" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_06/image.jpg.206c4e4154e2a1132599a0a165b8692d.jpg" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>

School year: 1st year

Position: Shooting Gaurd also plays Small Forward or Power Forward

Role: Normal Player

Personality: Tarou is a very reserved keeping most things to himself never getting angry or sad or happy. He is a very like-able person because he'll always listen to people's problems no matter how dumb they are and he'll always give them some insight on it. On the court he's not much of a different person but he shows some type of emotion when he's being trash talked and when he's on fire he'll start trash talking saying no one can guard him.

Court strengths:

He is a pretty good shooter and it takes few shots for him to catch fire, his handles are probably the best part of his game allowing him to create shots for himself and also his teammates because his passing is pretty good.

He's actually decently athletic choosing to dunk the ball every once in a while

Court weaknesses:

While he can catch fire quickly and when he's on fire he's the only thing holding him back, he tends to take bad shots with absolute confidence they will go in.

He is not that great of a finisher so his layups really need to be worked on.

And his defense is average at best.

Play-style: Agressive

Any signature moves? (Like a special fake or a dunk only you are able to pull out. You can name them, but keep them balanced):

Freeze: A special hesitation where he puts the ball between his legs then brings it up to chest level with lots of hang time leaving his opponents frozen because he has so much scoring options on them. Drive, step back, shoot, pass

Bio: When was born his father taught him basketball and told him about his dreams of being a professional, his father taught him that dream should be gigantic and if they aren't laughed at they're not big enough. He didn't really love basketball when he started playing it because he wasn't that good. Then when he was around 13 he became taller and started dominating people in basketball and started liking the sport because it allowed his emotions to come to fruition. He's just loved basketball ever since, always dreaming of going pro.
