One Thousand Club
It was a warm September day and school was just beginning. The school was a flat single floored building with trees here and there. Several sidewalks weaved around the building, flanked by patches of grass. On a few of the paths up to the school building there were bike racks. Towards the top of the brick building the was the bold white words spelling hill-gate high school And although it was early small sums of people flowed into the school. Their bellbottom pants swaying on the floor and their bright stripy button up shirts visible for miles away. Kids were unloading from the bus right in front of the school and slowly moseying their way in. The building wasn't exactly large and it was rectangular so as you walked into the school you could see lines of windows each different room homing a different subject. There was room 102 Math and 108 a few down for science. But most importantly to the students of hill-gate was the library. It was a big square looking building attached to the high school by a small hallway. It's where practically everyone hung out. The clothing and culture was weird the school was old and from certain angles it looked like it was rotting but it was truly a time to be alive!
Premise! This is a little tidbit about the show if you haven't watched the show and want to.Eric Forman is a typical high school student growing up in Wisconsin in 1976 with his family and his friends. Together, they have the same kind of joys and sorrows that just about every teenager has while growing up. This show parodied many of the attitudes, events and fads of the 70s, along with those who grew up at the time.
Rules I really want this to try to be a nostalgic coming of age role play and i really want to try to keep the setting as close as possible to the 70s. The role play won't ONLY be a school roleplay. I will include things from the show like the meeting place of the friends/family being in the basement of a home but the show is just a loose following of the show. Also this will be a casual roleplay so i would ask that you please try to write a few paragraphs. If your confused about anything please let me know.
