The world has descended into fear and madness.  At first it was a tragedy, the death of Charles Xavier.  Many people, human and mutant alike, mourned his passing.  Less then a month later, the shocking news that Magneto and several prominent members of the Brotherhood were killed in an incident in Genosha; it is also said that the mysterious X-Men were also present during the incident, taking their lives as well.

Shortly thereafter, other leaders in the mutant community and mutant activists started to disappear.  Rumors started to circulate of men in black vans pulling up and kidnapping mutants, causing the mutants to wonder if the government was responsible for these heinous acts.  The seeds of distrust and hate continue to grow, deepening the rift between humans and mutants.  It finally reached critical mass in Mississippi; it is unclear as to what instigated the incident, but it is said to have left a city block destroyed, several people dead, and a mutant in jail.

This incident has caused an uproar and instigated rioting in several major cities, including Detroit, Michigan.  The government has responded by deploying troops to put towns under Martial Law.  With a shortage of available manpower, the private security company known as the Monolith Group has offered support, and is prominently felt in major cities such as New York, St. Louis, and Detroit.

The intense response has subdued the rioting for the time being.  However, mutants are forced into hiding once more.  The Monolith Group is seeking to detain any mutant they can find, regardless if they were part of the rioting or not.  Their detainment extends to family members of mutants, and entire households have been taken into the custody of the security firm and carted off to unknown locations.  They also possess strange, powerful weapons that the US Government does not; these weapons are engineered to combat mutants, and are capable of neutralizing their powers.  As part of the lock down procedure, the Monolith Group has erected a powerful barrier around the cities it occupies that interferes with mutant powers attempting to pass through it.

There is only one option for mutants and those related to mutants - escape.  As long as the Martial Law continues, the Monolith Group is ruthlessly hunting down these refugees.  The mutants are too unorganized and lack direction to go up against the Monolith Group's numbers and firepower.  People hide in the dregs of the city, surviving one night at a time and hoping to find a place safe enough to sleep until they can get out of the city.

During all the stuff going on in Detroit, James, the leader of TF15, gets word about some important mutants being held against their will. He decides to call a meeting with his team and the visiting TF11 members.

TF15: New Mexico - leader James Aka Revenge

ATTENTION ALL UNITS PLEASE REPORT TO THE CONFERENCE ROOM NOW!! I AM CALLING AN EMERGENCY MEETING. AVERSION, BEAU, LEVI, AND ROGUE THIS MEANS YOU AS WELL.

James sat at the head of the table in the conference room waiting for his team's to show up. Thanks to information he had received from his spy in Detroit, they were almost ready to make their move.

Rogue sighed into the mirror, pinning back one of the white stripes that layered as her bangs. She knew she'd been here long enough, but it seemed like it was all still a blink of an eye. Part of her still felt called to running. Running and saving as many people as she could as quickly as she could. Save them from this Monolith group and all the hate. She still did, when she could get out there, willing to risk herself when it had nothing to do with the group. But she knew, the part of her that had found a role as a leader in the X-Men, knew this was the right way to save people. It took longer, it took more patience, yeah, and while that was harder for her than jumping into action and bashing some skulls... Rogue knew it was right. It was what Charles would do... and she'd continue to represent all the beliefs of the X-Men... just as best as she could do.

Her eyes lifted up as an announcement came across the comm system. She heaved a sigh, and gently picked up the gloves lying across the dresser. She turned and slid them up her arms one by one, so much for some time to breath. Rogue had just returned from one of her outings, and maybe that was what had her more restless than usual. She'd been able to save someone and it had felt good, like it might be the old days, where they were able to save people.

But it wasn't the old days. As Rogue finished with the clasped her uniform's belt, clipping the X in the middle, she lifted herself into the air and flew down the hallway, she reminded herself of that. She needed to keep her focus here, on the big picture. At this rate... the big picture was their only hope of actual survival. She wouldn't give up on the little ones when she could, but the big picture needed to be her focus. It just didn't come naturally for Rogue, though she was trying her best here to make it. She landed in front of the door to the conference room and reached up to adjust the collar of her jacket. Then she walked through and her eyes searched the room.

"What's all this hollarin' 'bout James?" Rogue questioned and raised her eyebrows expectantly. All this fuss and she wasn't sure whether it was good or bad. Well, it was an easy call, actually, it was all bad. Ever since Genosha... it was all a hailstorm of cats and dogs thundering down on them.

Sebastian hadn't truely slept in....a long time. However, that never stopped him from laying in bed as late as possible. Not only was it the most comfortable he had ever been, but it kept him from having to find something to do. He couldn't have been here- wherever here was -for more than a few weeks and no one had really bothered to give him anything to do. Naturally, he had heard the announcements on the comms system, calling for specific people to go out on missions or attend meetings. He had even gone to a few meetings and tagged along on a couple missions. But he hadn't really felt anymore important than the person who fetched lunch orders. Of course, that was probably his own fault; a mix of self-consciousness and being too nervous to speak up and ask for something more to do.

Seb sighed and opened his eyes, not impressed with his brain's choice of morning thoughts. He winced slightly when a ray of sunlight aligned just right with the crack in the curtains to stab into his brown eyes. "Bloody hell." He mumbled, rolling over and shoving his face into the pillow. He told himself that he was going to fall asleep again, just to spite the sun, but unfortunately, he was now wide awake. Grumbling some more, he crawled out of the bed and stumbled towards the bathroom. The exciting fact that he had his own private bathroom was somewhat overridden by the fact that he could never manage to keep it clean. That wasn't a problem this morning, however, since his sight was too blurry to notice a little dust and grime. He stripped down and hopped into the shower, reluctantly leaving it cold so he would wake up faster. A brisk fifteen-minutes later, Sebastian was clean and a bit more bright-eyed as he dressed in a black t-shirt and jeans.

Just as he was preparing to settle into an old book that he always had with him, there was an announcement over the comms. He hesitated slightly, unsure if he was included in the 'all units' category. On one hand, it might be embaressing to show up and then be shooed away because 'it's classified.' Of course, on the other hand it would be worse if he didn't go and someone had to fetch him. Then he would show up late and everyone would stare at him for being late. He growled in annoyance at his own over-active imagination. Yet somehow, he still found himself getting up and grabbing his jacket on the way out of his room. Then next problem- before potential embaressment -was the fact that most of these hallways looked exactly alike. He had done his fair share of snooping and wandering around, but he was still pretty likely to get lost. Luckily for him, this time was an exception, and he arrived in the proper conference room only ten minutes after the call. He settled quietly in a chair and kept his eyes trained on the floor. Until the room filled up a little more, he was determined not to make a single noise.

"I'd like to wait a few more minutes dear Rogue, before I let you all know about the new mission. But just to give you a heads up, We're going to Detroit, Michigan." James said as he watched a few other TF15 members enter the conference room. He yawned but tried to hide it. The search for his sister was almost over and then he could retire and be done with it all. But first, he wanted to knock a big hole in Monolith's wall with this next mission. He pressed a button on his comm and spoke a few words with his spy at the facility before sitting back and waiting a few more minutes.

The Dark.

Victor entered the room wearing his usual hooded cloak making all but his red eyes indecernable. His left arm had a jet black chain wrapped around it and his right arm rested on the barrel of the shotgun at his hip. "Haven't been to Detroit in a while." He said with a devilish grin. "Why we headed there?" He said sitting in a chair in the confrence room. His demeanor seemed a bit more upbeat than usual but then he was just be excited to have a mission again. Sure he moonlights on his own continuing his nightly "patrols", but these guys had organization, planning, and access he couldn't get by himself.

She nodded to James, deciding not to bother him anymore. She wasn't going to pester him but she appreciated the heads up. Rogue liked having the time to think it through. Detroit was one of the many places being walled off by the Monolith. Their powers would be sketchy at best, there, but that was also somewhere they could really make the difference. Also make a powerful punch.

Her attention was caught by Victor entering. Or 'The Dark' as he'd codenamed himself. She supposed it was no worse than Rogue, but it was a little on the nose. Then again... whatever code name would be on the nose for her, she wouldn't want any part of. Victor didn't seem to care, or at least he didn't show it.

"Victor," She nodded in his direction. "Can' yah be patient, hun?" She said and tossed a wry grin at him. While Victor was definitely not somebody she would normally get along with... there was something about finding people and bringing them in, that made you stick to them. She wondered if that was how  Mystique had felt way back when.

The Dark.

Victor chuckled a bit at rouges rebuttle. "Patience is a virtue...I've never been too virtuous." He leaned back in his chair propping his boots on the conference table and interlocking his fingers behind his head. "But I suppose I could try." His devilish grin only twitched slightly, a sign that he was actually trying to smile. He contemplated lighting his cigar but decided against it, it was his last one after all. "In the mean time you guys got a bar in this Place, maybe even just a bottle?"

As much as he joked around his alcholism had only gotten worse since he joined the team, granted he had become a bit less...Dark, than he previously was, but the less he took life, the more he drunk and the less Acceptable it had become.

James closed his eyes, trying his best to ignore the talk amongst the mutants that were before him. Finally he could wait no longer.

=======================================================

In Detroit ...
Ken shivered as he sat inside the industrial freezer and checked up on the electronics.

The Monolith had erected the barriers and declared martial law, yes. But it had kept the electrical grid, sewage, all the things necessary for a city to function. Things that could transmit information through the barriers and be hidden given a sufficiently designed system.

Which is why Ken was in the samples freezer- as a way to keep the thermal signature of such a system out of the attention of Monolith while still being able to transmit information.

The latest batch had seemed to interest his contact on the outside and he was asked to stand by for further questions.
===================================================

"Whatever." Levi heads for the assembly hall.

With a strong fake mystic accent, "I sense something wrong. I must attend" Beau heads off to the assembly hall.

"I have gotten word that a handful of mutants are being held in a facility in Detroit, Michigan." James said with a frown, "There are 5 that we know of at this point in time. Any ideas on how to go about rescuing them. also on a side note, they are not going to be able to help in the rescue effort as they have nullifier cuffs on." James looked around the room.

"What are their powers?" someone in the back asked.

"Good question. Let's see here..." James looked through his files before responding, "Suna No Kuoin, Age 10, Telepathy, and Temporal and Aerial control. Leah, Telekinesis. Apex, Evolution. Jamie, gravitic control, and last but not least, Melissa, Dream control, telepathy, and healing."

"Where is this facility located." asked another Task Force member

"The warehouse district" James Replied.

"Then lets just go over there and bust'em up.  Teach them...." Levi stops mid-sentence when he hears Melissa's name. "Then let's get going. Melissa needs us." Levi charges for the door not paying attention to anybody else.  Melissa needed help and he was going to deliver.

As Leviathan makes a break for the door.  Beau quickly reacts following on his heels. Again with his fake mystic accent, "Leviathan, calm down do not leave me behind. We can take my car."

It had taken Aversion a few minutes to get into the room, and she had to pause just outside of the door as there was another rapidly storming out with a determined look upon his face. "Izvinite!" She grunted in her native tongue as she tried her best not to glare at the man, and soothe those powers that bubbled beneath the surface.

"Levi, Beau.  Please slow down,  taking a car to Detroit when we have a jet getting ready  is foolish at best.  I know you want to help Melissa and trust me I want the same but..." James wanted to do the same as Levi and Beau but the odds of something going wrong rushing in was to high a risk of getting people hurt.

"The plan I see, and I will be happy to hear suggestions on how to make it better, is that we take a small team into Detroit to the warehouse get in and save the prisoners and get out with the least conflict as possible. "  James looked down at the files again and shakes his head. "As much as I would want to teach them all a lesson we have to think of the safety of everyone and get there and see how things look before rushing into this."

She rolled her eyes and sent him a stern look. "Ah think a drink doesn' quite fit this scenario," She said and waved her hand across the conference room. They needed to be sharp and on their toes.

As James started the meeting Rogue grew more serious, and sat up in her chair to focus on the situation. Really? Word from within detroit? It had been taken a long while ago and she was surprised again at the resources here. But that was why she was here, after all.  This was big, they could save people and make a real impact on the Monolith. This could put them on the map, and it could give all those living within those big cities some real hope.

Ten? Rogue scowled heavily, these bastards. Even children weren't safe at this point. But then everything  broke into chaos, and it was clear some of them knew a few of the prisoners. Was this the only reason they were going in? Not that it mattered but if they got information on this one, maybe they could find more people to save like this. Information could be everything, so far Victor's information on Monolith's inner workings had turned out to be invaluable. More could only help them.

James, a true leader, settled the group down. Rogue stood, too, to show some support for him. The members of TF were all ready to listen to him, but a lot of the newer mutants seemed to listen to her because she'd either found them or because they recognized her as an X-Men. Charles legend spread hope even after his death and she was happy to be the messenger of that.

"James' is raight, we have to do this smart if we want everyone tah get out safely," She said, raising her voice over the crowd. "No one has tah of course, but Victor, Sebastian, yah two could be a real help on this one," She said looking at the two boys. Obviously she hardly had to ask Victor if he wanted to enter the dangerous Monolith's stronghold and take some of them down, but she liked to at least. Sebastian could help those who were really injured, and that might be crucial depending on what state they were found in.

"I agree we need tah save these people," First and foremost, if Rogue's personal opinion were the matter. Of course, she tried to channel her inner Scott and look at the bigger picture. "But this could be a real opportunity tah take out the Monolith's stronghold on Detriot, couldn' it?" That was the sort of breakthrough this so far, one sided war, could use. "We could always take two groups," She added. A rescue was dangerous enough but... what sort of intel did he have? Could it be a way to really fight something finally?

The Dark

Victor sat listening to the "plan".

After hearing rouges two cents he decided to add his own. "If they have power dampeners then we are gonna need weapons." He paused for a moment placing his fingers along his jaw in the stereotypical thinking sign. "Explosives would make for the quickest way in and out." After he said this he lowered his hand and took off his hood, leaning forward he smiled. "But that's just my opinion, I'd be happy to help regardless of how we do things." Leaning back into his chair he eyed the two of them. "For all I care we can run in guns ablaze..."

Sebastian watched the room fill up, marveling slightly at how many people made up this secret organization. His old faction had always been like the family he had never really had; of course, it didn't turn out so well in the end. Then, after his faction fell apart, he had been alone and on the run for what had seemed like forever. And suddenly he was here, in something far bigger than he could have imagined. It felt good, though, to be able to see what the Monolith was up against. He pitied the people that were captured or didn't know about the rebels. They must be pretty hopeless by now.

Before he was quite paying attention, the meeting started and he sat up straighter and tried to pay attention. He raised an eyebrow slightly when he heard what powers the captured mutants had. Compared to them, his powers seemed like they were practically child's play. Not that he would ever say that out loud. Seb shifted uncomfortably when one of the members started to make a quick exit, seemingly intent on executing the rescue immediately. Fortunately, James talked them down, mentioning a jet that was already getting prepped for the mission. Sebastian fidgeted slightly, hoping he would be allowed to go along. He had never been on a plane before, but it was always something he wanted to try.

Seb's eyes moved to Rogue when she stood up and started talking. He didn't really know her personally, but he knew that she was one of the original X-men, which made her pretty damn cool in his mind. Sebastian's eyes widened when she mentioned that he might be an asset on this mission. He struggled to act unfazed, despite the fact that an X-man- or woman- had just recommended him for an assignment. It was like a childhood hero asking him to be their sidekick. Well, not quite, but he was still more excited than he had been in a while.

He set aside his childish impulses and focused on the seriousness of the whole situation. After all, walking up to a Monolith prison and taking their prisoners was a huge risk. If they succeeded, however, it could be a massive victory.

"I'm in....or whatever I'm supposed to say...I volunteer....if you want me to, I mean."

Sebastian bit his tongue and quickly stared at the floor, trying to stop himself from saying anything else. The last thing he wanted to do was make Rogue regret mentioning him at all.

She bet he would, but guns blazing would mean people hurt one way or another. It didn't matter how many people they brought to the table... the Monolith had more. A quiet way in and possibly out was their best chance. Especially with people who were at least malnourished at best, and badly injured at the worst end. She looked at James for confirmation on any of this.

"Ah appreciate that," Rogue said towards Sebastian with a quick smile.

"We're only going to get in if we're a small group sadly," James answered her and Rogue nodded stiffly. She hated the idea of passing up a chance to land some heavy blows...

But James explained that while he wanted Monolith taken down a peg as much as the rest of them, they needed to put their priority on everyone's safety. Rogue found herself agreeing sheepishly. She couldn't be too antsy to make a real difference that people got hurt because of it.

"Yah're right, James," She said easily and glanced around the room as James continued the breifing.

"I have an informant on the inside who is going to get us in." James said. "Once there, she'll lead us to the prisoners. She has the keys. There will be anywhere from twelve to twenty-four guards in the warehouse at any one time. It's a couple hour plane ride, so we need to leave now."

"Alraight, yah heard the man, Victor, Sebastian, Levi, Beau, and Aversion, yah're with us." Rogue said pointing to them in turn as James nodded his acceptance.

The group suited up and got to the plane within the hour and the engines were rumbling for take off. Rogue stood in the center and moved to take one of the seats. She looked around and then to James again.

"So how are we gettin' in again?" She asked what they must all be thinking.

"There's an airstrip just outside of Detriot, and we have a truck waiting to take us over the city limits."

She nodded, and looked around in case anyone else had any questions. As she looked, though, she realized that everyone here hardly knew each other. The X-Men, back when they operated as a team, trained hours together getting to know each others strengths and weaknesses. How to play off and defend each other. Most of them were being thrown together now.

"Alright boys, time ta get chatty," Rogue said authoritatively. "We may all know each other, but ta really work as a team we gotta know how each other fights, how are powers work and operate in an operation like this."

Sebastian was on the edge of his seat for the rest of the meeting. The longer he listened, the more he realized how important this was. While they seemed to be going for stealth over brute force, a lot of the mutants they were rescuing would give them the advantage once they were back to full strength.

Seb practically jumped out of his chair when Rogue confirmed that he was on the team. He stood awkwardly for a moment, but then they were all leaving to get suited up. He was already wearing his jacket, so for the most part he just paced around his room until it was time to head to the plane.

Despite the hour of pacing that he had just done, Sebastian was so hyped up to fly that he was unable to hold still. He sat and buckled himself in, fingers drumming on his leg. He looked up from the floor when Rogue asked how they would be getting in. It seemed like a lot could go wrong- Monolith agents might see the plane landing, the truck might not be there, or they could get stuck at the city limits -but he tried to trust that James and Rogue had already planned for anything like that happening. He frowned slightly at Rogue's conversation prompt, at a loss for what to say. He had only ever fought in real combat by himself, so that was a bit concerning. At the same time, he wasn't sure how a little bonding time and a description of his powers was going to help. "Well, um, I absorb pain and channel it." He said quietly, positive that the typical weird looks at him would start now.

@FarFlungDreamer @PrincessCrystal @Jefferson

"Channel it how?" Rogue asked with an arched eyebrow, but a friendly smile. She knew 'channel' could mean a whole lot. For instance, her powers could be considered 'channeling'. Just in the way that caused pain or killed people. This boy Sebastian's powers too pain away? That seemed a hell of a lot more good to her. "Do yah think yah can help any injured prisoners that way?"

They'd been in the Monolith's 'custody' for who knew how long. Rogue didn't give them fair odds for coming out unharmed in the situation. If they weren't able to even move... Sebastian's powers could be the most important ones here.

The viewing screen that James was looking at went all fuzzy, then a face appeared on the screen. It was James and Melissa's other sister Lanolin (or Dreams as she liked to be called) "So I see you found out about our warehouse." Lanolin said with an evil grin. "Well you will be pleased to know that we are taking good care of our guests in fact Melissa is enjoying herself." She pulls out a TV from behind her and you can see what appears to be a Monolith General on its screen. Beside him is Melissa, "As you can see, she gave my general a bloody nose, but then again he returned the favor with a black eye." You can see Melissa struggling to get free from the General as her slaps her around a bit. Her hands are cuffed behind her with some strange type of cuffs. "That's right big brother, she has nullifier cuffs on. Cain't do much with her powers thanks to them. In fact all of our guests have these cuffs on." You look at the scene on the TV as it pans over all the mutant prisoners. All are wearing the cuffs, but their hands are cuffed in front of them where as Melissa's were behind her. You can see that all the prisoners had food and water.

"In ten minutes I will contact you again big brother. This time it will be with my demands. Oh and by the way, this video was shot last night." Dreams said pointing to the TV. "Tata for now big brother."

James was surprised by the viewing screen and then let out a growl seeing his sister Lanolin.   Seeing what had happened to Melissa was just to much as his ice powers started to activate, clenching his fist.  "You will not get away with this."

TEN MINUTES LATER

The screen went fuzzy again and Lanolin appeared on the screen. This time in her Human form. No armor nothing but a t-shirt and Jean shorts.  "ok, so here are my demands, big brother. I want..... YOU, in exchange for Melissa and the other Mutants." Lanolin smirked. "That's all I'm asking for. You in exchange for the prisoners." The TV behind her showed Melissa only this time she was alone, She had a very subdued manor about her. Her eyes looked like she was in a trance of some kind. She didn't move or anything, in fact it looked like she wasn't even breathing.  "Good bye dear brother. I'll be expecting you."

James took the advice to heart and started to calm down he could feel all eyes on him and he had to admit he was not thinking all clearly after seeing what happened. Lanolin came back on the screen and demanded that he exchange himself for the others and then see the image of Melissa.  It took all his willpower to hold back reacting again.  "I doubt that if I exchanged myself that things would go smoothly."

Rogue watched surprised as the woman was able to hack into their frequency aboard the jet. Last night? How far ahead were these people? They'd be lucky if his informant wasn't dead. Hopefully he or she could be seen with the prisoners.  That put a major kink in their plans, though. What else about their plans did this woman know, how did she know it? As the woman came back... it became abundantly clear that she was related to James. Now Rogue was really worried.

"Probably not. But this is a family feud?" She hissed, sending a glower towards James. "That mighta been a good thang tah mention before."

Not that they were going to abandon him or his family, or those other mutants... but depending on what he said, they might have to go about this a whole other way. "So how much does yah sista know about TF15?" She asked, pressing her lips together. If she had defected or something... if she knew about any of them or their powers they'd be of no use at all. They'd be predictable in their attack and they'd only get caught that way. "'Bout how we're comin' in?"

"She knows nothin bout TF15." James growled toward Rogue. "Ah didn't even know that she was working wit Monolith. Not till now. The only thing Ah'm interested in is rescuing those mutants and getting my baby sister back. Do you really think Ah'd risk yer lives and mah own just to feed fuel to the fire that she is trying to start?" He fired at Rogue, His southern accent was strong making some of his words slur together.  "In fact, Ah don even claim her as mah blood." He added angrily.

"Alright, alright," Rogue soothed, a frown still twisting her face. She really didn't like this suddenly. But she was at least assured this sister was out of nowhere for him too. It made the strong urge to stop all this lessen some. "Ah'm sorry I jumped to conclusions," She added for good measure, although it was hard for her to say. But she felt like that's what the professor or Jean would do.

"Yah can' be too..." She paused as she looked at a strange text on her phone. "Safe..." She finished as she read through the text. This must be the informant... they must know that James was being watched, or communicating with him after his sister got through their security wasn't safe. Or it was a trap... but it was a chance they had to take. "Alright y'all, it looks like we're ready tah go," She said and turned the phone around for James and the others to see. As if on cue she saw the buckle up lights flicker on and felt as the jet began to descend to the ground. It was too late to turn back now.... and Rogue didn't think she wanted to in any case.

Sebastian glanced at Rogue, then back at his hands. "Honestly, I don't know all the ways I can channel it yet. But I can do a sort of 'blast-wave' of pain directed at specific people. And I can use pain to improve my senses, like sight or sound, stuff like that." He said, blushing slightly. He felt a bit awkward talking about his powers, especially since no one else was saying anything. "Well, I can't actually heal people, but yeah...I mean, if they can't feel any pain they should be able to walk on their own and everything." He was beginning to realize that he was way out of his league. But judging by Rogue's interest in his powers, at least she seemed to think that he could be useful.

Seb immediately sat up and stared at the screen when a woman popped up suddenly. His forehead was furrowed in concern, especially when another woman was shown, cuffed and beat up in the background of the screen. He stared, wide-eyed at James for a moment after the screen went dark, waiting for his reaction. Seb didn't say anything while Rogue and James discussed what they should do now that any hope of this being a secret attack were dashed. He tried to ignore the nervousness in his stomach when Rogue showed everyone the text she had received from their informant on the inside of the enemy facility. He quickly buckled himself in, waiting tensely for the plane to land.

"That's alright," She assurred Sebastian and pulled a smile on her face for him. "That will be helpful, might be tha thing that gets us all outta there alive," She told him and it was true, invaluable in a rescue operation. She listened to everyone else's explanation of their powers and it wasn't long before they'd hit the ground.

The air grew more tense and Rogue straightened the jacket around her shoulders and rose up into the air to open the door to the jet. "Ah'll go out first and scout it out," She told them all, there was a certain advantage to having invulnerable skin. Even if she'd trade it away in an instant if it meant getting Carol out of her head. She flew out and when she found no obvious signs of a trap she landed back on the steps and ushered the others out. "Looks like James is right, we don' need ta worry about a trap."

At least not here. Once they got to a warehouse? The whole thing was a trap they needed to stay two steps ahead of.
