Communications to Kaisic forces

Our ships our holding there position for now to provide overwatch. We have detected movement on the surface and suspect it's enemy weaponry. We suggest you continue on with the Lorrainians to the surface. Our ships will follow after your forces land with the Lorrainians.

The fleet hovered above low orbit in the surface. The enemy fleets were just behind them. He sat impatiently on the Captain's chair. The admiral and the rest of the crew were anxious.

"Sir, we're receiving comms from the Alkar," the officer reported dutifully.

"Put it through," the admiral responded.

The bridge heard the message. So the enemy had spotted the diversion fleet and we're moving troops. Good. The admiral suspected they were at the New California fleet as it was the most defended and well protected as well as given the little data they had in the Ademar system on location of their cities. It was almost time.

Commodore James Liland

The 4th fleet and the cruisers from the transport fleet were in defensive formation. It was almost time for bombardment in low orbit. Much if the lower AA shells and Cannons were being outfitted with a special ammunition reminiscent to blasters. The difference was that the ammo was way bigger and more explosive. James could see the fleet getting ready to picky their targets.

Many fighters and bombers were also being launched in anticipation of incoming Terran fleets. As soon as bombardment was over, bombers would go in to clean up the mess escorted by fighters and interceptors. The transports would then go in last. It was common war doctrine for invasions.

"So their only ally is Atlus, correct?" James said worryingly.

"Aye captain," was the reply.

The fleet was strong enough to see on two though the condition of Atlus fleets were uncertain. Terran fleets would likely be battered however with fresh ones being for planetary defence. Still, the thought was still troubling.

Unknown ally intentions, the kaisics back home seek to hold a meeting with Atlus to stop their support for UTA.

As time passed during the invasion, many generals failed to realize the Atlus-Uta alliance until this moment.

This threatened to tear the fragile alliance with the Atlus if they were to attempt to defend Terra.

SS, Guard divisions who have been on the front grew tired of waiting. The officer ordered the force to be dropped on the moon and begin shelling the planet from there.

This is disobeying Alkarian orders.

using advanced movements along the allied fleet, they kept distance from the UTA ships and managed to get close to the moon. Landings shall commence shortly.

Atlus 1st Expedetionary Fleet

Rear Admiral Daniel Bauduin

"So we are one more jump way from the Terran System?" I asked the Navigation Officer as I stared out at the ships that made up Atlus' very first Expedetionary Fleet. Given the fact that we never fought a war that doesn't involve any Atlus territory, this fleet of 20 ships is the Principality's very first Expedetionary Force. All of which were handpicked from the best that the Home, Merchant and Colonial Fleet has to offer. The entire fleet is made up of 10 Bishop-class frigates, 5 Drake-class battleships, 2 Argus-class assault carriers, 2 Arclight-class troopships, and an experimental ship courtesy of the Cromwell Faction. A majority of the ships are from the Home Fleet with their loan of 4 Flfrigates and 2 battleships. The rest of the frigates were from the Merchant Fleet while the remaining ships were all from the Colonial Fleet. I'm all fine with that but the experimental ship is a last minute addition.

"So that's the Phenex? Hm... Grand looking thing if you ask me." Commander Irving of the Colonial fleet mused, her usual bored expression clear on the main screen. She had been given a relatively light sentence of a demotion for her actions during the Parmenthal operation. That and apparently the fact she snapped had something to do with my disappearance. Which is why she is Captaining one of the troopships despite her high rank but I digress. Her comment was right though. The Phenex had the appearance of a large tailed bird or searay. Its grey colour made it blend slightly into space but the red made it look menacing.... And visible. But the oddest thing about the ship wasn't the ARAF logo on it but the bulky front end. I simply pushed that thought aside for now and turned to face the main screen.

"Alright Ladies and Gents. We are one warp jump away from our Ally in need. Now I may sound sentimental but these people saved my life when I was captured. And to pay it back, I simply played a... vital role in their rebellion. An idea that gave me other ideas I'm not at liberty to say right now." One of the Captains on the screen chuckled darkly while a smug looking woman in a slightly different uniform shrugged.

"Hey if you want a shot at my Uncle go ahead, Danny but I'll say this first. On Atlus, I'm a devout supporter of all of his plans so you never got my permission, okay?" The female officer said, flashing a cheeky grin and a wink. I simply smirked at the sight. If anything, Chief Air Marshal Cecilia Cromwell is one of the only people I trust within the Cromwell faction. If not for the fact that her Father, the late former Viscount Cromwell, was a just man unlike his brute of a younger brother.

"Noted Cel. Anyways, prepare for a jump! Our destination, Terra!"

"ORAAAAAAA!!" A loud cheer erupted over the comms as the first few ships began their jump. The next set are the battleships, followed by the Phenex and lastly the assault carriers and the troopships including the Euclid II.

Grand Admiral Nwarhta

"Sir, observation posts reporting enemy movements. They are landing on the dark side of the moon. Ships wave signal confirms they're Kaisic Ships."

"I figured as such. Most likely the Lorrainians and the Kaisic have formed an alliance of some sort. If thats the case I suspect that in all likelihood the Al-Quhr are here as well. But the other large fleet does not seem to have the same design as the Lorrainian ships we saw on Ademar, so there must be a 4th force assisting them we don't know about. Interesting."

"Your orders Admiral," Hallevy asked.

"Well to their fortune, our incident  Luna Base six months ago has left it in ruins. Whats the closest colony to the moon as of right now?"

"New Paris is 400 clicks away as of now," General Estanoctoc replied. He pulled up the holographic map zooming in on one of the colonies and the moon. A dotted red line was drawn between them. "Its possible that we may not need to re-assign any destroyers from the fleet to take care of them. I will have the forces on that colony flying over to the lunar surface by the end of the hour."

"Understood, General, do as you must."

Another message came from an observation post reporter. "Madrid Observation Post is reporting another warp signature, Grand Admiral. Its the Atlusians, they are being lead by Admiral Bauduin."

"Good put him through the encrpyted holo-comm channel I want to have him join us here in the war room."

"Understood, sir."

New Paris, Colonel Beaumant, New Paris Garrison

"Beaumant, we have new orders. They want us to launch transports to the Lunar Surface for a counter offensive." In the New Parisian hangar, several transpors loaded with troops, siege tanks, and type zeroes made their way out of the colony and towards the moon. Their mission objective, to send the Kaisic packing with everything they had.

General of the Al-Quhrian Armies, Kadar Nur

As of now, the Al-Quhrian army had been waiting a bit behind the other fleets. As they possessed no real ships meant for combat, they were very vulnerable. But now, listening to communications and generally mapping out what was happening, it seemed as if a massive naval battle was about to happen. Fleets were being assembled and moves were being made.

While to most this would seem useless information, to Kadar it was an opportunity. The Al-Quhr had no gunships, that was there weakness. Kadar hoped that whenever the opposing fleets met, he would be able to lead his men through the confusion. He was no naval officer, but as he saw it if the fleets were focusing on each other the Al-Quhr could go under or over the battle, and start a fight on land in the confusion.

For now, the Al-Quhr would wait. But soon they would make their own move.

The Admiral

"Sir, their Paris colony and some ships from the capital are moving, they're headed for the moon!" The officer reported.

"Aye sir, scanners picking up... Kaisic ships?" The second officer's eyes widened, "Crazy robot fuckers! They're alone!"

"We can't send help to them, they'll have to tough it out, prepare landing" the admiral ordered.

"Aye sir, we'll wait till the enemy troops are eiut if the sector," the admiral ordered.

Aboard the ILS Patriot

Commodore James Liland

"Sir, we're in position for bombardment, our advanced weapons are ready to open fire" the officer ordered.

"Good, have the battleships commence firing operations," James ordered.

Outside the ship, battleships could be seen hovering in low orbit. Bolts of electric blue could be seen firing from the ships. It would likely cripple anything it touches and disable anything near it for a good amount of time. Advanced bolt laser weaponry would also be fired. On impact, they would be mini-bombs. Their targets would be surrounding defence systems around the city. The battle has begun on the Beijing Colony.

The electric torpedoes would be focused on the Defenses whist the lasers would fire onto the colony, bombarding any possible areas of defence and tall buildings that obstruct landing.

Scanners indicate multiple targets destroyed or disabled.

"Boy... What're we done here.." James mumbled.

He joined the fleet in hopes of keeping the peace. He had just ordered a massacre. It was his job. He had to do it.

"Keep firing on enemy positions, it'll be mercy to them..." James stated

"Aye sir, we're readying our fighters and bombers as we speak, that is to say, scrambling the fighters and bombers that aren't already launched," another officer stated.

James only nodded. He had a bad feeling about the battle.

Aboard the Lead Transport

John Lockland

Captain Lockland was assigned to lead the landing on the Beijing Colony. He was on the same ship with the Al-Quhr general.

"Ready the transports for swift landing, I plan on ending this engagement ASAP," the captain ordered.

He had no intention on lingering, only to be target practice for any reinforcements from Terra. Of course, that was his job as he was informed in the briefing from the commodore. He was sure he looked pretty juicy in his ship.

Cleron-1

The people of Cleron were in high spirits. They have been informed of the victories in Ademar. Propoganda was laid throughout the city. Recruitment buildings popped out of nowhere with long lines of young volunteers. Factories were producing more weapons and vehicles more than ever. The government received the Kaisic plans for their new ship.

The meeting with Kaisic officials seemed to have gone well. They introduced their designs. The Imperials had their own designs however.

A transport of their own was in the making, a quick and effective armored transport dubbed "TT-01". It contained a rotary plasma turret and grenade launcher on top. It also has open and closeable slots on the side where soldiers can fire out and contains a mini-HW equipped with radars, frequency detectors and radar jammers. The meeting seemed to be well.

movements.

The kaisic transports, now nearing the moon, detected the army that were heading towards them. They would have to acquire a beach head and quickly defend it. This was no good.

While the troop transports kept their distance from the pursuing army, the offizier requested for reinforcements, which were quickly accepted.

The attacking kaisic forces peeled off and avoided contact, retreating from the moon to hide behind another allied force. This felt humiliating, but he would do it to save their lives.

reinforcements

Kaisic reinforcements have arrived, consisting of

2 Destroyers

4 battleships

6 corvettes

The fighters were launched immediately and began to encroach upon the moon, along with the corvettes.

The transports also joined in, being joined by other transport ships. Some of them were unusually bigger than the others...they held something powerful within them.

Baron planes were flying along to escort them. Others peeled off the group and began to pursue the UTA army force that had originally pursued the transports.

Moon's Surface, Luna Base Ruins, Captain Chester Whitefield

The crew aboard a large transport took attention to the Captain. "Okay, so listen up, first thing's first Engineering crews you guys figure out what we can get online as soon as fucking possible. Any equipment we can get working on the Lunar Base like the Dangsleif Site or any of the AA Guns, we'll fair this battle a whole hell a lot better. Next we're gonna have the siege tanks post up behind our defensive line at the ruins. You guys make sure none of their larger equipment, ships, tanks, the usual, none of that makes it to the side of the moon facing Terra. If they get through then they'll have a prime area to shell our ships and colonies. Marines and Regular Infantry, all we have to do is hold the line against their Soldats. We underestimated their strength on Parmenthel, they thrive on asymmetrical combat in largely covered areas, but the Moon's surface is far from that. Here we have the advantage. Our boys in the sky will cover our asses and take down whatever air support they get, If this operation goes sour we'll have Teslas and Phoebes come in and assist understood, but lets try and bother them too much. " He tapped his helmet and listened to some information from the pilots. "Okay everyone, we're about to land. ETA 1 minute get everything together and lets go go go."

Outside the transports landed at the ruined Lunar Base. Chester felt a sense of nostalgia returning to the place, but that sense was soon blocked out by his sense of duty to his country. All the men hopped off the transport and hopped their way towards the broken military base.

Kaisic landings

The baron planes had completed their mission of escorting. Now they were to fend off UTA fighters and bombard enemy positions.  they slowly peeled away from the transports and began to engage the enemy fighters.

The transports decended calmly onto the moon's surface, and stood still for some time. Then, the ramps were lowered...

Inside, hundreds of droids were revealed behind the ramp. They stared forward with a deadly glare.

Kaiser tanks roared with smoke.

and, with the bigger transports, a new beast was revealed.

it towered over the Tiger.

Grand Admiral Nwarhta

"Beijing Colony is under attack," Hallevy reported. She pulled up her end of the hologram and zoomed in upon the current fight. Beijing, being the current end colony was the least guarded area within the UTA line of defense. "A Lorrainian fleet is bombarding the colony. It appears they have de-cloaked and have made their move."

"So it seems they'll forsake their allies in favor of completing the mission. How unfortunate, it would look terrible on their part if they lost their new allies' force."

"So what do you plan on doing."

"I think Flanders is the closest commanding officer in the area near Beijing. He can take care of the enemy bombardiers," he replied, "as for the transport fleet. We'll send them to their maker soon enough. Since none of our ships are near them, Hallevy, move the Everest to prime firing position and take them out. You can choose their fate though preferably I'd like to see the EM Wave Cannon be used on an actual enemy this time." Hallevy saluted and left the command room to attend to her duties as captain of the Everest. Nwarhta then turned to the comms officers in the room. "Warrant Officer Gadston alert the crew of Mauna Loa that their presence is needed on the homefront."

Movements: Everest leaves New California's airspace to take on The Alkar Transport fleet. Captain Flanders and the Harukaze move towards Beijing Colony to fight off Lorrainian Bombardier Fleet.

Captain was not happy. The Kaisics and the Lorrainians had opened fire without contacting them. But another buzz was going around the bridge. Their sensors indicated movement in the space above the opposite side of the planet. "Sir, we have inbound signitures. We can't identify them from this range" an officer said to the captain. "Hell, get weapons warmed up and deactivate cloaking systems. If we're shooting them they might as well see us. Contact the fleets at Ademar, tell them to get their ass over here. I bet the Paladin win do something." Santo ordered. He looked down to his panel and authenticated the decloaking. The two destroyers were visible now and the Alkarian fleets were approaching quickly.

The ramps were dropped slowly, creating more tension within the cabin.

Men gripped their guns closer to their chest and stared straight ahead.

Although some were confident in our battalions, many wouldn't count on them.

Finally, the ramp dropped. Revealing the lunar landscape. We could see a military outpost ahead of us.

that will be our first target.

I ordered my men to charge to the building, and almost instantly, they began to sprint towards it.

the Kaiser tanks(12) led the way ahead of them.

The tigers(9) were at the back.

and the King Tigers (3) were in the middle

The king tigers immediately opened fire on the outpost with it's enormous guns. It was an equivalent to a medium naval bombardment.

The Tigers joined the bombardment as they continued to crawl through the moon terrain.

And the Kaiser tanks just stayed silent. They protected the infantry.

this is going well so far.

Atlus 1st Expeditionary Fleet

Rear Admiral Daniel Bauduin

"Wow..."

"That's Terra...? It looks so..."

"Alright, that's enough people! Remember our purpose for coming here." I reminded the crew as they took in the sight of a mostly dead planet. If there is one thing that we Altusians hold dear more then anything is the importance of preservation. The biggest lesson we had for that is the irradiated zone back on Atlus, an area literally killed by the industrial processing back during the pre-rebellion days. An area covering roughly 100km^2 of polluted land and water contained within a series containment domes. A reminder to always mine and process within limits.

"Sir, incoming transmission from UTA High Command; they are requesting your presence via encrypted holo-comm." My Communications Officer told me as she began re-establishing the battle-net among each Atlus ship in the area. I immediately got up from my seat and pushed myself towards my quarters.

"Captain Denning, you have command of the ship. Slow and steady." I ordered the ship's XO to take helm while I'm away. As I entered my quarters, I left the door unlocked and lowered the window shutters before standing behind my desk. A few quick taps and the holo-comm began setting up a connection to the UTA's High Command. To my surprise, I received an incoming message from the Phenex.

"Mind if I tag along? - C" That was it, the message. I simply chuckled at how direct and terse it was. Even after all these years, she never changed. As the holo-comm finished up its preperations, I shot Cecilia a quick reply. Might as well, eh?

Holo-comm War Room

"Pardon my lateness, Grand Admiral Nwartha but I came here as fast as I could." I simply apologized as my surroundings changed into that of the UTA War Council room. 'Standing' to my left was Air Chief Marshal Cecilia Cromwell. Even in holographic form, she still has that slightly smug atmosphere about her if you look at her for too long. "And may I introduce a fellow Noble, Air Chief Marshal Cromwell of the Atlusian Royal Air Force. She's here as a volunteer."

"Charmed but we should really get to business, Rear Admiral Bauduin." Cecilia simply said, adding a prim curtsy. I controlled the urge to roll my eyes, that woman always tries to push my buttons way to often.

"Right... As Lady Cromwell said, we should really be getting down to business. What's the situation, currently? And do we know the identity of your attackers?"

General of the Al-Quhrian Armies, Kadar Nur

Kadar confirmed the order. While he disliked sharing command and a ship with the Lorrianian, he had no choice due to the lack of an Al-Quhrian fleet. He had spent time confirming every order John gave, not only to show he shared the power but also to assure the Al-Quhr soldiers didn't do anything wrong. Kadar, like most of the Al-Quhrians, disliked foreigners and were only accepting the alliance out of necessity.

 He turned towards John.

"How would you expect we get into one of those colonies?"

Due to preliminary scans Kadar could see no easy entrances, at least, none big enough for the whole army to land. The small openings obviously weren't meant for ships much bigger then a personal cruiser or small transport.

Stealth Fleet

ILS Enterprise

The Enterprise was above the New California colony like the other fleets. Some of the New Californian ships were shipped out. It was good enough, the fleet outnumbered the Terran ships by a lot and had decent firepower and resistance.

"Tell the Alkarians we're beginning our attack run and wait for confirmation, get our pilots in attack formation," the admiral ordered.

"Aye sir, all ships are notified, Se ding transmission now," the comms officer reported.

"Good, weapons up, red alert, stay cloaked!" The admiral ordered again.

[End Transmission]

The fighters, still cloaked were getting ready now. The bombers as well. Their targets were the defences on the surface. The entire platoon of squadrons included 650 fighters and 900 bombers. A couple squads of intercepts (150) were escorting the fleet as well. All were cloaked. New California will fall.

"Sir, we're reporting multiple targets destroyed on the outer dome. We're taking out multiple weak points for transport insertion sir," an officer reported.

"Sir, our radar indicates a force on the farside if Terra, possible enemy reinforcements," another officer reported.

"Have our cruisers and destroyers in defensive formation, have the battleships continue bombardment, we need to get troops in ASAP," James reported.

A large fleet engagement was going to happen he knew. There was no sense in running now. He had to hold his ground and fight.

"Send a transmission to the Alkarians and Kaisic, we've got a rather large contact inbound," an officer reported.

"Too late, Alkarians sent it first, we'll notify the Kaisic however," the comms officer reported.

"Alright, send transmission to the first and third fleet with the contengincies plans but notify the Alkar and Kaisic first," the admiral ordered at once.

Transport Fleet

John Lockland

John smirked at the Al-Quhr general's comment. It was quite obvious how they are going to get in. With pure force. Their weren't likely any defences on the ground besides some soldiers. Their job was to take the government buildings first and secure the city.

"Well, we blasted holes in the thing, now we land general," John said confidently.

He watched as holes started forming in the colony. Vacuums of air started pouring out. Breaches in the ship entrance bays also appeared, one of them totally destroyed completely.

"Our large transports are also complete with smaller transports you see, to land the soldiers," the admiral smiled, "I suggest you get your troops aboard them and land in the city, my engineers and computers have already marked places I interest if you feel like touring the city"

He looked out the window. Explosions erupted inside the colony now. Beijing was about to be annihilated with the wave of troops. Perhaps it would be easier if the colony was flattened all together.

Luna Base, Captain Chester Whitefield

"Sir, enemy transports have made landfall. They are deploying at least 10 battalions of soldats, several tanks. and a behemoth class vehicle."

"Behemoth class? Are you sure Corporal."

"Yes, sir, I think that it might be their planetary artillery platform."

"Let me see those binoculars," Chester ordered. He took them off the corporal and brought them to his own eyes. Over in the distance a large cloud of dust could be seen. Switching to a thermal scan, it could be seen that there was one gigantic tank that dwarfed the rest. "Holy shit, that thing is huge." Chester picked up his comm device and tuned it to the channel that the tanks were on. "This is Captain Whitefield... Yeah... Sending you the coordinates now... Alright light that fucker up." From behind the Terran line, several Siege Tanks lined up their first shot, moving the rail guns into place. After a few seconds of silence, a loud burst of sound erupted from the line of siege tanks their shots soared across the sky towards the Kaisic position, several shots landing in front of the behemoth and around it, but no effect, with exception of destroying several soldats.

"No effect," the Corporal called out, "error, 5 degrees..."

"Fire," the Captain called out. Another volley of Siege Tank fire rained down upon the Kaisic position, destroying more Soldats and this time, several shots landing on the "Behemoth." Chester then asked, "corporal what do you see."

"The enemy behemoth is damaged, but little to no effect. No apparent armor breaches from what I can see, they're still steaming along," he replied with a worried tone. "Captain, what are we going to do."

"We'll send in the Heavy Raiders, we were lucky enough to have them taking their time off on New Paris. We're even more lucky that these guys also served on the shitshow that was Parmenthel."

Luna Base, Gunnery Sergeant Tychus Findlay

The armor clanked on the concrete floor as Tychus and his Battalion strolled on through the base. His Raider armor was painted sky blue. On his back he wore a shoulder mounted gatling cannon, the same kind they use on the Gunships and mounted to his arm was a multipurpose grenade launcher, capable of firing either grenades or miniature homing rockets. His weapon, a kickass, Plasma Bayonet Raider Rifle named Lucy  They apparently had a new job assigned to them by the one in charge of this operation, Captain Chester Whitefield. Tychus and his crew weren't too concerned about whatever it was he had to say to them or whatever job that he had assigned for them. As long as the Heavy Raiders got a second chance of kicking Kaisic ass, that was all the word they needed to hear.

Ten minutes later he and his batallion found themselves out and about beyond the defensive line, flying in on several assault transports. The talk turned out to be short, the Captain was understanding and gave them free reign to whatever they wanted as long as they return alive and make sure the enemy tanks were inoperable.

"Alright gents, listen up, you know the drill. Lock down the LZ and push through their line. I ain't waiting for no one."

"Yes, Sergeant," the men aboard Tychus's transport responded. Kaisic AA fire intensified as the transports made their way in. The doors opened and Tychus dropped down onto the surface. His armor made an inaudible thud and a bit of dust scattered. He grinned from cheek to cheek and spun up his gatling gun and pullef back the hammer on Lucy. "It's go time."

---------------

The Heavy Raiders were deployed on Parmenthel. Despite the horrible campaign on the ground they punched through enemy forces singlehandedly.  Defeating the Kaisic forces while being outnumbered 40 to 1. Only suffering two casualties out of the batallion of 100 deployed. With one death attributed to Raider suit failure causing instantaneous brain death, the Raiders accrued a grand total of only one combat casualty throughout the Parmenthelian campaign

The officer looked up at the explosions.

The image of flying limbs and heads seemed scared in his memory board.

He stared out at the fiery lunar terrain.

anger grew from his combat mode. He would see to The UTA's death.

"Artillery! " he barked into his comm.

"Counter fire!" And with this command, the tigers and the artillery of the King Tiger used the incoming fire from the siege tanks to range them. They stopped and raised their guns.

Then, the guns were live. The large explosions from the tiger sent shockwaves rippling through the siege tanks, almost decimating the position.

The large guns were inaccurate, yet the explosion still reached them.

The infantry, despite being attacked by artillery, still charged forward.

But within the explosions, the shouts and moans of damaged kaisics filled the air beside the load rumble of tanks.

Kaisic Medics - noted by their helmet being painted with a red cross on top of a white circle, sprinted out of the landing ship and dragged back the injured. One of the kaisic medics found a two kaisic soldiers. One of them was in the arms of another, missing it's arm and a bit of it's helmet. The other had it cradled  in it's arms, sobbing on it's shoulder. The loss of war.

He shook his head. John looked at the window and sighed. The colony was getting bombarded to shit. Most of the defences were taken out, the ones left had no damage.

"I wonder, have you been to war before?" He chucked, "Damage leaves messages to them, should they surrender the colony will be spared..."

The man looked at the general and then back outside. Everything was getting lit up.

"You see, I though it might be easier to collect scrap from the ground rather than in space... Seeing as you lack...Well nevermind," John had said too much he feared, "The colony will take heavy damage. If they do not surrender, it shall be completely annihilated. Millions of civilians will be killed within minutes, that wouldn't look good in history nor is it justifiable as of the moment. If we wish to continue the war, we mustn't waste support for it"

He stared at the general, waiting for a response.

Most of the Corona class battleships stopped firing and gkt into defensive formations now. The dreadnoughts continued bombardment operations. Any more fire and the colony would be completely annihilated.

"Sir, the contengincies ops have been notified, the first and second and preparing the jump as soon as we get confirmation from the Alkarians," the comms officer reported.

"Aye then, prepare for possible enemy aggression on our location," James said.

The officer nodded and continued his duty. The fleet had been notified. James wasn't quite happy about the possibility of destroying the colony. He could do it sure though he wouldn't live with himself. Such loss of life wasn't something typically proudly boasted by empires.

"Damn, where the hell are the Alkarian commanders?" James sighed.

Aboard the ILS Enterprise

The fleet was getting ready now. Much of the troops were in their drop pods. The ships were loaded with specialised breaching torpedos often used against other ships. This time, it would be used to get into the colony. The phasers would also do a number on buildings.

Bomber and fighter formations were in attack positions now. They would be taking out multiple air defences in waves. Some would be invisible and others hidden throughout. It was the calm before the storm in New California. The admiral was quite sure the citizens in the Terran capital were quite warm and comfy in their homes. It was time to end that notion.

Aboard the ILS Gadigan-Bridge

Admiral Edward Gunther

"Alright admiral, we're about to move in on Terra, coordinates are set for their... Moon base?" The comms officer reported.

"That should be correct, Kaisic forces have landed. We're gonna aid them according to the message," another officer reported.

"Right then, we're exiting our warp, all fighters and bombers are prepared. Interceptors are already launched," the weapons master reported.

"Prepare to enter the combat area, weather is hot and raining... Approaching target destination, leaving warp and engaging thrusters," the pilot said.

The fleet was out of jump now. The pilots had been launched. Hundreds of fighters and bombers all out in space now. Interceptors started moving into the target area. The moon shined beautifully amidst the chaos. Upon the moon, bright flashes could be seen as if a hundred meteors decided to fall. The Kaisic fleets could be seen. Edward's fleet would be vital to draw enemy colonial defences away from their capital.

The good thing about the grand fleet was that they were of Veteran status. Though some ships were battered more than others, no major damage was acquired from the Ademar engagement. Most of the damage was patched up by the engineers. The moon grew ever so bigger.

UTA-SC Harukaze, Bridge, Captain Flanders

"Captain, we are in position to launch our Dragons and Gunships."

"Alright, send the order to the  gunships to launch they are to destroy the enemy bombardiers. They will try to swarm us with their fighters so it won't be an easy task, but all Dragons must focus on stopping the counter attack. The Everest will assist us in taking out the unknown faction's transport fleet soon enough. Send a division wide order to our Destroyers and Battleships to open fire on the Lorrainian fleet when ready."

Outside several Hyperion and Tesla class starships opened fire upon the Lorranian fleet. Cannons and torpedoes sent their payload blazing down the space between the two fleets. The cannons struck the Lorrainian ships with deadly accuracy.

@Proxploxtops

Grand Admiral Nwarhta, New California:

"Admiral, Beijing is falling shouldn't we send more to assist them," General Estanoctoc asked. His men were sustaining heavy casualities and the fleet while strong, he figured would only be enough to fend off the invaders. Just then another person joined Admiral Nwarhta and the General in the middle of their conversation.

"You see, Estanoctoc, war is one part strategy and another part human. Morale plays a factor. And now we will crush it. Hello Bauduin, welcome to the club."

@Wandering Grim Hollow

UTA-SC Everest, Admiral Hallevy:

"Commander are we in range for the wave cannon."

"Yes, Admiral Hallevy."

"Initiate targetting sequence. Bring us around broad side. Set Charge to 100% I want inescapable coverage."

"Understood Admiral. 80% Charge Bypass Code is required."

"Talley, Petroleum, Butter, X-Ray, Virus, One, Russia, U-Boat, Sally."

"Alright, bypass complete. Charging weapon now." The cores within the massive ship sprung to life and began charging the weapons fuel cells.

General of the Al-Quhrian Armies, Kadar Nur

 Kadar was puzzled.

   "Waste support?"

It was obvious this Lorrianian had no idea of Al-Quhrian culture.

"I don't think you understand. We have no lack of support at home. This wouldn't change anything. I doubt many of our citizens would even hear about it."

 Kadar shook his head.

"I completely disagree with you as well. Damage can be inspiring, yes, but I would say losing a million or so civilians would motivated them further. The more deaths on their part might push them to surrender. They would think it was their fault for not saving their own."

Kadar didn't grace the first question with a response.

Aboard the ILS Patriot

Commodore James Liland

"Sir, Terran reinfircements approaching, from their colonies sir, not the planet," the comms officer reported.

The fleet was out of position. This worried James. He could send the fighter squadrons in with bombers though he had no clue on their numbers. This was their home fleet however, either the besr of the best like Lorraine or a rag tag group of fresh troops. James rubbed his head.

"Reposition our fleet to be ready for the incoming attack, the second fleet should handle the Terra moon," James concluded at once. He needn't waste time, "As for the bombardment, destroy the colony completely. It is of no use to us"

James choked on his last order. In one hand, it was good for morale and could help win the battle. On the other, it was morally wrong for him to condone millions of innocent people. He bit his lip and nodded. The officer, as always, followed orders.

The entire ship shook now. The Beijing colony was about to be destroyed. One bump was larger than the last. The Terran fleets finally retaliated.

"Sir, they're here. Our Corona Battleships are barely in position, shields holding," the officer reported.

"Noted, fire everything we've got at their heavier ships. Cover the Transport fleet and get them the hell outta here," James said ,"Send four Hornets with them. Call the second fleet to our coordinates ASAP"

"Aye sir, but it'll take atleast twenty minutes before they get here!" The officer reported.

"Then it's twenty minutes more we need to route the enemy," James said.

He was human. He had Morales but no way in hell was he inexperienced. He was already a war vet. He had his own command now. There was no time to waste.

The Corona ships steadily moved to position. Blue electric torpedoes fired, hitting the weapons systems of the battleships. They were meant to cause hull breaches as well as disable nearby electronic systems.

Cannons opened fire lighting up brilliant blue lasers at the enemy, hitting the hulls hard. The pilots and bombers were scrambling to positions however.

The Terran fleets were lucky to catch the Lorrainians off guard though their fleets were the best in the galaxy. They could adapt. The battle had started with civilians. Now it starts with soldiers.

Lorraine Transport Ship

John Lockland

John noticed that the Al-Quhr general had not answered his first question. It was expected as it was rhetoric. It wasn't meant to have an answer.

"I see our culture's are very different, we tend to like to inform the populous you see," John started, "History tells us the misinformed causes trouble later on"

"Sir, Terran ships approaching, Commodore James telling us to get outta here," and officer reported, "Beijing is falling hard sir, likely annihilated soon reports the commodore"

"Well then General, it appears you have your wish. Beijing will be destroyed and we won't waste a single soldier," John finished, "Pilot, get our fleet rallied to Sector 8"

Sector 8 would of course be the first fleet entry point. The transports were preparing to move out now. He hoped they were out in one piece.

ILS Lofree

Admiral George Nyman

"Sir, distress call from the fourth fleet, they need reinforcements in Terra," the comms officer reported.

"Aye then, prepare to make the jump," the admiral commanded.

Much if the fleet was ready. The empire was at armed readiness as soon as the battle wlof Ademar resulted in a victory. On the Orbit of Cleron, much of the ships were in construction, most mass produced. New volunteers were being recruited everyday. From what he had gathered, the Emporer was commissioning a new fleet. It would be ready some time after the battle he presumed.

"Commeneing warp sir," the pilot reported.

And with that, the fleet made their jump. Time was of the essence.

First Fleet

The First Fleet had warped to Terra. "So much for stealth. Alright, get weapons warmed up! We are in the fray people!" Rajin yelled out. The Iris didn't have much for ground assault but it was a death trap for ships. The amount of fighters it could deploy in almost unbelievable. The Skyhunters and Pelters had buzzed to life, getting ready to swat any flies that dared approach it. The same can be said for the rest of the Alkarian ships in the fleet.

Paladin Fleet

The Paladin had arrived. In all its glory and the destroyers guarding it. In quickly made the Alkarians the most prominent force in the battle. "Okay people! Let's make shit happen!" the captain ordered. It's weapons readying to destroy anything in its path.

Wolf Class Thunder

There was turmoil on the bridge. The drop pods were malfunctioning, so quick insertion wasn't gonna happen. The Thunder deployed about a hundred fighters to help defend the ship. Santo was about to break something. First the Kaisics ruin stealth, now they have to deal with more enemies.
