Genesis

Genesis sighed as she looked down at the paper in her hand. Her parents had just dropped her off in the middle of nowhere, at some academy that was supposedly for "people like her". The letter had arrived in the mail over Summer, an invitation of sorts, and her parents had accepted without a single word to her. Of course, this was expected. She'd already been kicked out of six schools, due to incidents with boys. Her parents were at the end of their rope, so they'd take anything that was offered. Even so, Genesis didn't feel any better about it. It felt like they were throwing her away. They'd barely said goodbye before they slammed their doors and drove off, leaving her in front of a large old mansion with bags in hand. The school was old, and had three different buildings, but Genesis figured the one in front of her was the main one, so most likely that was where she had to go. Sighing, she picked her bags up and began to make her way to the large Oak door, simply sliding through it rather than opening it. Even in her "normal" form, she was able to go through walls. But only if she wanted to. She could be surprisingly solid if she felt like it. Looking around the room she'd entered, she saw that the mansion was definitely fancy. The floor was made of marble, and there were two staircases on either side of a long hall way. In front of her stood a surprisingly tall woman, with a grin on her face.

"Hello, Genesis. Welcome to Echo Academy." The woman's grin seemed unnatural, a little bit creepy, but Genesis simply nodded her head. She managed to keep a straight face, despite the chill that ran through her. "Right this way. I'll show you to your room." Genesis began to follow the woman, looking around at the school as she did so. It was large, and dark- there were lights on everywhere, but it still felt like it wasn't enough. Genesis didn't bother to ask questions, however, since it seemed that the woman was intent on getting her to her room. After a short walk through several hallways, the woman stopped in front of a large door and took a key from her pocket. Unlocking the door, she pushed it open and gestured for Genesis to enter. Swallowing hard, Genesis pushed past the woman and entered the room, surprised to find a gorgeous bedroom waiting for her. It was large and had a canopy bed, the bedspread was pink silk, and the room had a fireplace. "We asked your parents for information on you so we could make your room as comfortable as possible." The woman told her, and Genesis smiled, setting her bags down gently on the bed. "Orientation is at two, it's upstairs, to the left, the very first room. Please don't be late." With that, the woman left, shutting the door gently behind her. Genesis grinned and jumped onto the bed, surprised to feel that it was almost like she was simply floating. If this was how the school did things, she was excited to learn more.

Lucian
24bt1si.jpg

Lucian looked up at the large mansion in front of him, eyes wide. He was terrified to be here, honestly. His parents had explained where he was going, and why, and had even told him that they'd bring him home if needed. Of course, he assured them he'd be fine, but that was just to comfort them. Lucian wasn't exactly a brave type. He was terrified of almost everything, unless he was in his other form. Most of the time, he kept control, however, and maintained his regular form, keeping himself and those around him safe. You're such a baby, surely no one will like you here, either. Lucian swallowed and closed his eyes, pressing his hands to his ears. "Shut up, shut up, shut up..." He whispered, until the voice went away. Opening his eyes, he made sure no one had seen him before grabbing his bags and making his way to the main building. Opening the large Oak door, his mouth dropped open slightly at the decoration inside. It was lavish, the floor was made of marble, a creamy beige color, there was a large fireplace right in the first room, and there were lush seats available with a huge bookcase. There were two staircases leading to the second floor, and a large hall in front of him. A small woman with large eyes stood in the hall, looking at him. Lucian smiled weakly, heart beginning to race. As she made her way to him, he backed up slightly, a little scared. She looked haunted. "Hello, Lucian. I'll take you to your room." With that, she turned and began to make her way down the hall, and Lucian followed quietly.

She led him down a few different hallways, and soon they stopped in front of a large door. The woman reached into her pocket and pulled out an old looking key, unlocking the door slowly.
She's totally gonna kill you. Lucian grit his teeth and closed his eyes, taking a breath and calming himself. When he reopened them, the woman was looking at him expectantly. "This way." Lucian nodded and followed her into the room, and was quite surprised with what he saw. The room was large, and had a lavish bed in the corner. It was covered in a velvet maroon blanket, with black silk pillows, and there was a large bookcase in the corner. "We've spoken to your parents. They told us some things about you, so we could make your room as comfortable as possible." She smiled and Lucian could see she wasn't so scary. "Thank you." He told her quietly, as the woman began to make her way to the door. "Orientation is at two. Take the staircase to the second story, and go left. It's the first door on the left." She smiled and exited the room, leaving Lucian to himself. Setting his bags down gently, he began to unpack, placing his clothing in the dresser provided. He set his laptop on the desk in the corner, and plugged his phone charger in. Technology was allowed here, just not during school hours, apparently. Sighing, he sat down on his bed, waiting for orientation.

Violet

Violet swallowed hard, her ears folded back against her head as she looked up at her new school in horror. After her old public school found out about her little secret, her foster parents had nothing to do with her. Usually, when one of her foster families found out her secret, she would just go to another. But this time, it was different. Instead of being sent off to another group of unfortunate parents, she was taken to this mysterious school. Her parents waited impatiently at the car line looking back at Violet in anticipation. After she showed no signs of moving, her foster father sighed and pulled out a plastic bag containing dog-treat bacon strips. Out of impulse, Violet shot forward in her seat, and her ears immediately perked up.

"Told you that would work. She's a dog after all." Her foster mother laughed, as her father rolled down the window and tossed the bag out of the car. Before Violet could even stop herself, she had burst open the car door and grabbed the bag of treats. She would have dug in, if she hadn't noticed that she had been tricked. Her parents had closed the door behind her and locked it, leaving the trunk of their van open. "Damn you." She growled, glaring at the vehicle. With a grumble of disapproval, Violet grabbed her things and made her way towards the main building of the school, not even looking back for her parents.

She was greeted by an interior that she never even imagined being in, as it was so high class compared to her dull life. Violet was greeted by a man who stood at least two feet taller than her, and looked down at her with a dull expression.
"Miss Violet. If you will follow me, I will take you to your room." For a man who looked like he could bench press thirty of himself, he was awfully formal. With a smile, she nodded and let him take her to her room. They went around a few corridors before reaching a room, where he pulled out a key and unlocked the door. 'What if he tries to-' She thought, mildly paranoid, before the man cleared his throat to get her attention. He then proceeded to explain that her parents told them about her so her room could be adjusted to her liking, telling her about some Orientation, and then walking off.

Shrugging, and relieved that the man truly was only there to escort her, Violet stepped into her room. Any remains of a smile had immediately left her upon seeing her room. In place of what would have been a human bed, was a giant, over-sized, dog-bed. There were several squeaky toys placed across the room as well, but the rest was just the usual bedroom set.
'I wonder if they're ever going to realize that I'm a wolf, not a dog.' She thought. Growling a bit, Violet shrugged her bag off of her shoulder. Unlike most people, she only had a medium suitcase filled with clothes, and a backpack with her small keepsakes. Violet began to unpack her things, taking a bite of her dog treats as she went.

Ezekiel

Zeke walked down the street, holding a simple duffel bag in his hand. He strode with confidence and pride as he whistled a melancholy tune of his own creation. Today was the day. He was going to strike chaos into a new school, one filled with freaks just like him. And since he could use his powers freely among these monsters, there was no way he wouldn't be able to cause any trouble. He didn't even stop to take in his surroundings as he entered the main building, immediately looking for ways to start a small catastrophe. However, Zeke was brought out of his plotting when a woman's voice cut through his thoughts. His thoughtful expression quickly shifted into a flirtatious grin.

"Hello, Ezekiel-" He interrupted her before she could even finish her introduction. "Just call me Zeke, hot stuff." She seemed a little flustered by how forward he was. The woman was shorter than he was, and had just enough curves to be considered sexy in his eyes. "U-um.. Well, hello Zeke. I've been assigned to escort you to your dorm." She stated, motioning for him to follow. Zeke did, after saying, "Then I hope you'll stay a while." He winked. After a few more rounds of flirtatious banter on Zeke's end, they had arrived at his dorm. She pulled out a key and unlocked the door, opening it.

"You should know what your room is like, since your parents aren't here to tell us about you. Anyway, we have an orientation later today that you need to attend." She proceeded to tell him everything he needed to know, but before she left, he stopped her. Zeke slid a piece of paper with his number into her hand and said, "You should stop by sometime." He grinned. With that, the woman awkwardly left, and he returned to his room. In all honesty, Zeke had no interest in the woman, but figured she could always be useful for any of his future plans. He stepped into his room, which had a large king sized bed, and a high vaulted ceiling, mainly for him to practice his flight. The ceiling had reminded him about what he was covering up, as he decided to take a load off. He threw down his bag and slid off his jacket, revealing two large, bony wings, covered in a strange colored skin. He stretched his wings as he laid down on his bed and began to whistle his tune again.

Maxwell Arachne

Maxwell stared in awe at the large mansion in front of her. She had heard it was beautiful from her parents, but she hadn't been prepared for this level of intricacy. It had a worn down theme to it, but it fit the setting very well. Her heart practically swelled in joy. "Finally... a safe place where others will understand my struggles..." A happy giggle surged out of her and she turned to her mother. "Thank you for doing this for me!" Her mother wasn't exactly wealthy, but she scraped up enough money so she could go to this school. It had taken a long time for her to do so, no matter how much Maxwell's mother denied it. Her arms swooped down and she grabbed her suitcase before waving her hand hyperactively at her mother. "I'll stay out of trouble and call every week! Thank you!" She made a mad dash toward the entrance of the beautiful mansion. Her arms extended and pushed open the exquisite doors and-!

"Oh, I'm so sorry!" The Huntsman spider said apologetically toward the woman she just ran into. The woman waved her hand dismissively. "Don't worry about it. I'm here to take you to your room anyway." Maxwell squealed and nodded excitedly. The woman's expression didn't change at all and she simply started walking down the hallway, and Maxwell followed, combing every inch of the anteroom with her eyes. After what felt like forever, the woman stopped and jerkily opened the door for her. Maxwell quickly stopped in the doorway, dropping her suitcase by her feet and staring at the room. The carpet was a soft grey that felt like fine sand beneath her feet, but without the mess. Her large bed was draped in large swaths of silk and the softest pillows. The rest of the room had plushy couches spread around a glass and metal coffee table. Oh... my... god!. She turned to thank the woman from the bottom of her heart, but the woman was... gone? She hadn't heard her leave. Maxwell, caught up in joy, didn't think anything of it and immediately went to unpack, closing the door behind.

Some time later, Maxwell was lounging on her couch when she pondered, "I wonder when Cardes will be here?"

There was a loud yell from the hallway.

She giggled. "There he is."

Cardes Bennu

Cardes stomped angrily out of the car and silently fumed while grabbing his bags. How dare his parents send him to some place in the middle of the woods for "anger management. Everything was perfectly fine at his old school! ...except for the kid whose nose he broke. But that was irrelevant. Him being a part phoenix made him seem human enough to pass as one. With the exception of the plume of feathers that circled his neck (which could be hidden quite easily), he was practically human. Except for being reborn into a new person every 100 years. He looked back at his parents. They looked too smug about sending him here. Fine! He thought. I'll just ignore you then! He gathered his things and made the trek to the front of the old mansion without even thinking about looking back at them.

Cardes opened the heavy mansion doors and looked inside. It was sort of dark, so it took a second for his eyes to adjust to the new lighting. He steps inside and sees a burly man waiting near one of the hallways. Cardes approached him.

"Hi, I'm Cardes. Do you know where my room is?"

Silence

"Um, hello?" He says with an angry tone. The man's expression doesn't show even a twinge of emotion before turning the other way and walking the other way. The phoenix started feeling very annoyed, so he followed the staff member to try and get his point across. "Hello?! I asked you a question?! You're supposed to answer people when they talk to- Uf!"

The red- haired boy ran into a large back. The burly man whirled around and opened a dorm room for him. Now he was seething anger, but learned his lesson from the first time. So, he shot the man a look that could cut, and slammed the door behind him.

Now that he had calmed down, the room actually was really cool. There was a large T.V. and computer station with all the games he could ever need. His bed and couches were comfortable and perfect for relaxing, something he needed to work on. A pang of guilt went through him. His parents must have set this up for him. Whatever. There's no going back now

Kore<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_06/57a8cb1c8e104_downloadfile2.jpg.1db3003e83e1973a78b74681a974560a.jpg" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="137287" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_06/57a8cb1c8e104_downloadfile2.jpg.1db3003e83e1973a78b74681a974560a.jpg" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p> Kore opened the car door and closed it behind her, happily taking her cute green suitcase and brown leather bag out of her grandparents’ trunk. The old couple glared at her as she screamed in a mocking and happy voice. “Dearest grandparents! I hope you finally have some action, now that I’m gone. At least, I won’t make fun of you for lasting five seconds this time~!” She waved as they quickly drove away. That’ll pissed them off. Good. Kore couldn’t withstand her oppressive grandparents.

It’s not like they would understand how her hunger works either, them being human and all. Honestly, just because she eats people’s energy with the help of wet dreams, her grandparent deemed her a slut. She gets that they believe that relationships are sacred and good for them for believing in that, but it’s not like she is sleeping with everyone! Good thing she had her revenge before she left...her dearest grandfather would never forget that dream of the other woman...and neither would Kore.

Laughing in a seductive manner, she turned around to see an old mansion with a large oak door. She walked up to it, placing her hand on the handle, and opened it. She whistled at the interior, impressed with how spacious it is. Oh look, there’s even a tall man waiting for her. That’s cool.

She walked up to him, her hips swaying with each step as he began to talk. “Welcome to Echo Academy, Kore. Please follow me as I’ll show you to your room.” She smiled, following the blushing attendent from behind and purred. “I’ll follow you anywhere with that cute butt, Sweety. What did you do to get that?” He mumbled his answer, walking a bit faster, and ignoring her chuckles.

As they walked, the attendent told her about the orientation and where to look for it. They stopped at a wooden door and the guy took out a key to unlock it. He pushed the door open and she praised him. “Oh my~! What a gentleman. Thank you, Sweety.” With a kiss on his cheek, she took the key, and closed the door on the stuttering and blushing attendent. He is so adorable, she hopes to meets him again to chat.

Kore looked around her new room, quite happy with the arrangements. The walls were a pastel green with white strips going down to the carpet covered floor. On her left side was her king sized bed, decorated with cute bow pillows and pink and green flower covered bed sheets. The bed frame was made from dark cherry wood and it held a canopy with see-through curtains draping over. There is a nightstand with the same wood and a flower lamp on top. On her left are two regular sized windows on either side of the glass door to the small balcony. There’s also a desk, shelves on the walls, and a full body sized mirror.

She looked at her reflection as she inspected her outfit. Then she undid her transformation. Her dark brown hair changed into a honey brown, slowly turning to a bright green as her wings stretched out. Her forehead suddenly has a third eye, closed because she didn’t want to use her powers against anybody on the first day. “Goodness, I should change into something that won’t clash with my hair now.” With that, she unpacked her outfits, searching for her favorite one.

Bell<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_06/57a8cb1c907a2_downloadfile-12.jpg.b3deb3e2e71501b733b84b089d05f586.jpg" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="137288" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_06/57a8cb1c907a2_downloadfile-12.jpg.b3deb3e2e71501b733b84b089d05f586.jpg" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>

Bell stared as his father drove away from his sight, worried about his old man. While he truly believes in his dad and knows that he can aviod being hurt, he also believes his mother is insane. The last time he saw his mother was months ago...when she wanted to swing a metal pipe to his head. All because she didn’t want him to suffer discrimiation. Yea, it’s even more creepy when she screamed ‘I love you the most, honey.’

He shuddered, trying to put his past behind him. After all, he came to this mysterious school to be safe and make new friends along the way. Bell dragged his wheeled luggage as he walked towards the large oak door. He paused for minute, breathing in the oddly fresh air, and opened the door. His mouth opened wide as he gaped at the fancy interior.

There were two stairways on either side of the long hallway in front, and the stairs indicated a second floor. There was a fireplace, comfy chairs...and a library nearby? He can’t wait to explore the place and find the perfect spot to nap in.

Bell was so tranced by the fancy building that he didn’t notice the small woman in front of him. Until he heard her clear her throat and greeted him. “Welcome to Echo Academy. Follow me, I’ll show you your room.” With that, he followed the lady, wanting to rub his ears that were beneath his hat as he winced from her voice echoing. Goodness, for a small lady, she sure has an impressive set of lungs!

Bell looked around him, noticing the dark lighting and haunting atmoshpere. Now that he thought about it, this whole school is weird. Why invite only monster students? Why is the school in the middle of nowhere? Why are the attendents creepy and have loud voices??

Maybe he is over-thinking it. Again.

The small lady explained that there was an orientation and how to find it as they approached his room. She searched in her pocket, got out a key, and unlocked the door, before pushing it in. She suggested him to go inside and he did, dropping the handle of his suitcase as soon as he got in.

He couldn’t help but gasp in delight, taking in his new room. The walls were painted in a soft sky blue. On his right was an arched window that practically took the whole wall and beside the window, with a bit a space in between, a large hammock. The hammock has a steel frame holding it in place with a canopy hanging over and attached to the frame. That way, he could swing with the canopy and no one gets hurt from it. On his left, there was a wooden study desk, a cabinet for his clothes, and a medium sized bookshelf with a few books already in it.

The lady told him that his father was the one who informed them on how to decorate his room…

Best. Father. Ever~

After the lady handed over his room key and left, Bell ran towards his new hammock bed. Swinging it, he snuggled into the various of round orange pillows, and took off his hat, jeans, and shoes. Finally, his tail can move again and that damn hat and shoes could burn in hell because those things were uncomfortable. With that last thought, mumbling about how he can’t wait to see oranges, Bell fell asleep.

Azazel drove into the campus parking lot and stuck her car into park, she opened the car door and popped the trunk open, walking over to it and taking out her two suitcases. One was a rolling suitcase, while the other can be carried on her shoulder by the long strap. She slammed the trunk close and gave a warm smile, before she closed her car door she reached in and pulled out her massive mask with curling horns and what looked like a skull of a goat. She gave a wicked laugh as she dawned her mask, saying softly to herself, "This is sure to scare some students.~" She closed her car door and walked along to the front entrance, opening it and spotting a woman.

The woman turned to see this massive and some what frightening mask on top this woman's face. Her eyes widened, but she calmed down and she walked over to Azazel. and said, “Welcome to Echo Academy. Follow me, I’ll show you to your room.” She turned and walked down one of the hallways. Azazel followed along closely behind her, and zipped up her jack as it felt cold walking through these hallways.

They reached a large white and red door, with Azazel's named engraved beautifully on it. The woman took out an ancient looking key and unlocked the door, and opened
it up for Azazel. "Thank you sweetie. What time shall the orientations be?" Azazel said in a seductive tone, the woman explain the orientation time gave the key to Azazel and left.

Azazel turned to the door and walked inside, she loved the smell that drifted in the air, and that was because she had a small kitchen to her left, stocked full with food and ingredients for cooking. She turned her head to the back right corner of the room to see her bed. It was neatly made with velvet black pillows and a dark red bed sheet, tucked into the bed. To the left corner was her computer, and it looked exactly like the one she ordered before coming here. She smiled,
"This is an awful lot for one person, I wonder what more I can squeeze out of this school." She walked to her bed and laid across it, waiting for orientation.

Alexander was dropped off a few blocks away from the huge mansion of a school, as he request for his parents to do. He was always shy about being seen with his parents, not that he would be embarrassed by them. But rather that he would have embarrass his parents. He had his one large suitcase in hand, and began he walk to the entrance of the school, seeing the large door. he pushed it open and looked around like a lost child for a few seconds. But then a man appeared behind him. “Welcome to Echo Academy. Follow me, I’ll show you to your room.” he said.

Alexander jumped as he was scared as soon as he heard the mans low voice. He didn't say anything back, but followed along behind him as the man led Alexander to his room. It wasn't long before the both reached his room, and he unlocked the door for him. This man then handed Alexander the key and told him about orientation, he then said good bye and left after that.

Alexander didn't know what to think, his head was a mess of worries and a bigger web of what could go wrong one after another. he tried to calm himself down and entered his room, he closed the door behind him and then he looked around. The bed was a nice whit and black sheet design and the pillows were striped with the same color layout. He didn't even look at the rest of his room before sprinted to his bed and laid face first into it.

Xander Gage Carter

Xander's eyes watched the wooden doors for a few minutes. When he pulled up someone else was walking inside. He had a duffle bag strung across his shoulder and a back pack on the other. His heart beat nervously. He though the feeling was strange. He wasn't the type to get nervous. His feet carried him up to the large oak doors that seemed to loom over him. He took a breath and pushed the large door open. Once he stepped inside the cool air made him shiver. Standing in front of the half angel stood a woman. She was a lot shorter than he was with long curly blonde hair, a smile upon her red lips.

"Hello Mr. Xander." She spoke in her light voice. "I'll show you to your room."

He nodded his head, not caring enough to speak to her. She turned and he watched for a moment as she forcefully swayed her hips as she walked to get his attention. He cringed and followed after, the only sound being her heels clicking on the floors. She abruptly stopped in front of a door with Xanders full name carved in beautiful letters on a piece of metal.

"This is your dorm." The woman spoke as she unlocked the door. She then dropped the key in Xanders hand and pulled the door open. "We spoke with your room mate, the mortal. And he told us a bit about you. Enough to make your room to your liking." She grinned.

Xander stepped into the room and looked around slowly. The walls were painted dark grey and black out curtains hung over the window. The room held a 4 post bed with a grey bed spread. His eyes locked on the desk. The place where he would spend most of his time.

"Thank you." He turned to the woman, finally speaking to her.

She nodded but didn't leave. He just raised an eyebrow at her. It was a long moment before she spoke. "Orientation will be soon." She explained where it would be and Xander was half listening now. She turned to leave, pulling the door shut. Before it was closed he could hear her from the other side. "If you need anything let me know, cutie."

Once the door shut Xander turned and looked at the room in front of him. He let out a puff of air and dropped his bags.

Topaz Holloway

Her red hair was pulled up into a high pony tail and her bangs were pinned back, puffed up a bit. A pokadot dress hung on her body and a scowl on her cherry red lips. Her mother made her dress up and she despised the woman for it. She wanted her daughter to look like a mature young lady but right now all she looked like was a damn pin up girl. Around her neck hung the collar that could never be removed. It was put on by Lucifer himself. Topaz picked up her bags and marched her way toward the door. She plastered a smile on her face before waking in. She refused to let this dress keep her down. A man stood a few feet away from the door. He looked to be about 40. She took note of the milky glass eye he had.

"Mrs. Holloway?" He asked slowly. She was sure he knew what she was. She didn't like when others were afraid of her.

She nodded her head quickly and he lead her to a room that had her name on the door. She tilted her head to the side as she watched him open the door. What was behind the door made her smile. Red EVERYWHERE. She walked in after getting her key from the man.

He informed her about orientation and where it would be. Topaz waved the man off as she went straight to the fluffy bed. She was gonna sit but something caught her eye. On a table sat a bowl. Next to it was a black substance in a bottle.

A dammed soul. She grinned like an idiot. She didn't have to be cut off from Death. He can still tell her what souls she needed to take. She squealed and fell onto the bed.

At one fifty five, Genesis got off her bed and decided to make her way to the appointed room. It seemed the halls had filled with sound, which meant that other students had arrived. Genesis wasn't entirely sure how many students there were here, but for the moment, it seemed like only a select few were around. The only thing Genesis cared about was a cute boy to make out with. Yawning, she made sure to flatten her hair in the mirror as she passed by it, making sure she looked good. She was sure some people would be put off by her eye-patch, but it was really for everyone's best interest. She could see just fine out of the eye it was covering, but it was black, with a thin yellow line around the pupil, and it sometimes creeped people out. She didn't feel like creeping anyone out on her first day. Exiting her room, she made her way out into the hall, and back to the entryway, which was now empty of any attendants. Making her way slowly up the stairs, she wondered why she didn't float more often. Really, though, it was better for her to get more exercise, if she was being honest with herself. She had to keep herself looking cute, of course. Smiling at an attendant who passed by her, Genesis entered the room she had been instructed to go to. Opening the door, she peeked inside and had to take a moment to just admire it. The room was beautiful.

It had a black marble floor, and light blue velvet fabric on the walls. The large windows were open and brought in the beautiful midday light. Curtains made of baby-blue silk were tied to the sides, and there were numerous Mahogany tables and chairs, with nice cushions on the seats to make sitting more comfortable. Entering the room, Genesis took a seat up front, totally in awe of the lavish room. She couldn't believe a school would be so fancy. After a few minutes, the room began to fill, and Genesis took her time, looking around, trying to spot a cutie. Possibly she should have been paying more attention to the school, and schooling in general, but she had to find something to keep her interested while she was here, right? As the room filled slowly, Genesis began to get more and more antsy, anxious for orientation to begin. She wanted to know all the information that she could, eager to get to work and actually begin breaking rules. After a few minutes, the room was filled with what Genesis assumed were the new students, and a woman entered. She was unnaturally thin- it reminded Genesis of a spider, almost. Her eyes were large and she was sickly pale, with a large mouth that was curved into a smile. Almost like the woman who had brought her to her bedroom, but the hair was different. Her hair was long and flowing behind her, and it was a bright purple.

She stood in the front of the room, at a small podium Genesis hadn't noticed before.

"Hello everyone! Thank you so much for attending Echo Academy. My name is Ms. Tenebris, and I am the Headmaster of Echo Academy." She stopped for a moment to look around the room before continuing.

"Now, let me explain a few things here. This school is broken into three buildings- this one, the main one, is where the dorms are located, as well as the cafeteria, this meeting room, and the classrooms. Classes are on the second floor, dorms on the main. The cafeteria is on the main floor, at the end of the left hall, all the way in the back of the building." She paused again, to see if everyone got this information down.

"Classes begin tomorrow for all of you at eight in the morning. You will have lunch at noon, and classes will end at two fifteen. You will be given homework, and you will be required to take regular classes, such as history and language arts- but the subject matter will pertain to history about us- our kind." She seemed quite pleased with herself now, as if she had pride in their kind.

"The building on the left side is the gym. We have a court for basketball, volleyball, anything you can think of! We have two tennis courts, a heated indoor pool, and a track for running. We also have a weight room for those interested." Genesis thought that the pool definitely sounded nice. Indoor, and heated? She was going there for sure.

"The building to the right is our activities building. That is used for parties, gatherings, gaming, and any leisure time you may want to spend in there. You are allowed to spend your down time in that building, or your room, though the gym is only open for classes and on weekends. Down time occurs after classes and on weekends, and you may do as you wish- technology is not allowed during class hours, but you may use it once you're done with classes. We have cable in the activities building, but do not allow them in the bedrooms, and game systems unless handheld, are not allowed in bedrooms either. We have three game systems in the activities building for your enjoyment. If you want to request another game system or game, please fill out a request sheet located by the TV in the building."

Taking a moment to breathe, the Headmaster seemed to darken a little.

"Curfew is at nine on weekdays and at eleven on weekends. You must be in your bedrooms at this time. You are allowed to leave your rooms at night to use the restroom, but otherwise you must stay inside them. Anyone caught wandering at night will be given a weeks worth of detention."

Ms. Tenebris stepped out from behind the podium at this time. "Your parents are welcome to visit on weekends, if they so wish." Genesis rolled her eyes here, sighing.

"Oh, one more thing! My office is strictly forbidden unless I have requested a meeting with you." Her eyes dimmed at this, and her voice dropped. Her spider like hands clasped together and Genesis noticed her nails were long and pointed.

"That's all! If anyone has questions, please come speak to me, or another attendant on your way out. Have fun for the rest of today! Lunch is currently being served, though it is late, for your convenience."

With that, the room began to fill with the sounds of people getting up and moving. Genesis had no questions, so she made her way quickly through the door, eager to get away from the Headmaster. She was going to get some lunch, though she hoped they had a decent variety.

Lucian
24bt1si.jpg

Lucian had almost fallen asleep, but was woken up by the voice in his head. Wake up, sleepyhead. You're going to miss orientation, and you'll be thrown out forever. Not that I care. Lucian opened his eyes and sat up in bed, rubbing his eyes sleepily. The voice he heard was his other half- the asshole half. But even so, it seemed to have woken him up in time for orientation, at least. Yawning, Lucian stood and stretched, looking around the room. He was slightly hazy, his mind foggy. This usually happened when he didn't sleep much. He hadn't been sleeping well lately, because the voice had been keeping him up. Sighing, he studied his reflection in the mirror on his wall, and decided to change. Changing into a pair of black skinny jeans, he pulled on a white t-shirt and shrugged at himself. He wasn't really sure what he'd been expecting. He thought maybe he could somehow look friendlier or better or something... Pulling on a teal sweater, he decided there was nothing he could do about it right now. He would either make friends, or he wouldn't. Either way, he wasn't going to win people over purely based on looks, right? Surely people cared about more than that.. He hoped so, anyway. Leaving his room, he padded gently down the hall and back to the entrance.

Swallowing roughly, he made his way up the stairs, and into the first room on the left, as he'd been instructed. The room was large and beautiful- obviously the school had put a lot of effort into making it look nice. Lucian was pretty happy about that, honestly. It made him feel like the school cared. A few people were already inside, but Lucian didn't know what to do or how to introduce himself, so he took a seat in the back at an empty table. After a few minutes, the rest of the room filled, and a tall woman entered, looking pretty creepy in Lucian's opinion. Sitting through the orientation made him slightly more excited to be at the academy, however. Learning that they had so many cool things made him want to go investigate them, but he knew he had to follow the rules. As they were dismissed, the Headmaster mentioned lunch, and Lucian grinned. His stomach let out a loud growl in reply, and he made his way quickly to the cafeteria, excited to see what foods they had. The cafeteria was large, and had at least one hundred tables laid out for everyone. There was a menu posted on the wall, and it seemed like anything you could think of was available in this school. Licking his lips, Lucian studied the menu for a moment before making his way up to the counter to ask for what he'd found that he wanted.
"Orange chicken with chow mein please! Oh, and a cup of hot tea." He smiled happily, ready for the food. He was hungrier than he'd thought he was. And if their food was as good as it looked on the menu, he was going to be really happy here.

Violet

Out of all the things Violet wanted to do at 2:00, going to that orientation definitely wasn't one of them. She knew there was going to be a huge flood of new students, and that meant there were many more chances for her to screw up, do something stupid, or threaten to rip someone's head off. The girl would have completely bailed if she wasn't such a sucker for rules. With a sight, Violet slid her leather jacket over her purple tank-top and made her way out of her room. Her sense of direction in such a large place was off, and after several wrong turns, she made it to the meeting room for their orientation. The room was crowded by the time she opened the door, which caused Violet's stomach to twist into knots. 'Just don't talk to anyone... you can handle that.' She thought, as she made a beeline for the far corner of the room, pushing her way into the very back.

Her eyes were locked on the eerie woman as she entered the room only a few minutes afterwards, and Violet made sure to listen to her rather brief speech. Out of everything the woman said, the one thing that stood out to Violet was 'lunch.'
"Finally, the woman's speaking my language." Violet spoke aloud, quickly exiting the orientation. She was one of the first ones out of the orientation, and the first ones in the cafeteria. Her sense of smell was so good that she didn't even have to follow the directions that the headmistress gave. As soon as Violet had entered the cafeteria, she scoped the menu for food. As soon as she saw food items that caught her attention, she slid over to the counter.

"Okay, I want some Cajun filet chicken, a steak- cooker extra rare, the biggest rack of ribs you have, two- no, three pork chops, fried chicken, grilled chicken, barbecue, a slice of meat lovers pizza, a hamburger, a cheeseburger, chicken nuggets, and.... a bottle of water." Violet order. Her order practically held up the line for an extra ten minutes, until she finally got her meal- three trays worth of it. "Thank you~!" She spoke, cheerfully. Food was one of the only things that made her happy. Taking a tray in each hand, and the third one balancing on her arm, Violet attempted to make her way towards an empty table, the trays wobbling in her hands. Until she was suddenly tripped by someone, and she fell to the ground. A blush of embarrassment shot through her cheeks as she looked around for the culprit who had practically covered her in her own food, but they were nowhere to be found.

Ezekiel

Zeke was anxious to get to the orientation, which surprised even himself. He usually wasn't excited for anything, but he knew that this orientation would allow him to mingle with other students, and gain some useful pawns just in case he needed them. Not to mention, he was still on the look out for some lovely ladies that he could use to his liking. 'If only I was born as an Incubus. I'd be hella good at my job.' He thought to himself, as he sat in the middle row of chairs. As the orientation commenced, Zeke was practically bored to death. The creepy headmistress went on about stuff that he could care less about. Most of the rules she had made would probably broken by him in no time! However, about halfway through the orientation, he managed to start a conversation with a cute angel (NPC chick), and somehow scored her number.

In the end, Zeke left the orientation and headed to the cafe. He wasn't very hungry, but decided that it would be nice to mingle with some of the students, if any of them caught his eye. He entered the cafeteria, and noticed how the line seemed to be held up by a chick with animal ears on her head. As she came awkwardly walking by, holding three trays, a devious grin crossed Zeke's face. He stuck out his leg just as she was about to pass by him, tripping the girl right then and there. He watched as she collided with the floor, her food falling on top of her, and covering her from head to toe. Before she could see who had caused it, Zeke dispersed into the lunchroom crowd, proud to have begun his year of trouble-making.

Maxwell Arachne

Maxwell lounged on the luxurious couches when she remembered that orientation was at two. In a moment of panic, she checked her phone. 1:45. She sighed in silent relief. This would be her first time seeing the other students and she didn't want to ruin her reputation on the first day. Friendships were always beneficial and the pinnacle of her short life. While she wasn't very studious or meticulous, but the one skill she had faith in was social interaction. She collected herself off of the tantalizing sheets, checked herself in the mirror, and headed to orientation.

The room she entered for orientation was as well put together as everything else in the general vicinity. Her eyes practically glazed over as she looked at the large windows, exquisite tables, and lovely curtains. She loved interior design and anything well coordinated. Realizing she was gawking, the spider girl's cheeks dusted pink and she quickly excused herself into a chair.

By the end of the orientation, Maxwell was in love. With the school, of course. It had so many facilities and things to do! Her old school didn't even compare. She watched everyone leave their seats and tried to track where the majority of people were going. I'll just follow everyone else to see what they're doing. So, she just followed the crowd. Maybe everyone's going to the game room? Or the pool?

Okay, so maybe she shouldn't have followed everyone else. Her fangs starting to press into her mouth from a hidden crevice in her mouth, the scent of delicious food filled her nostrils. She really hated cafeterias. The scent of food everywhere stimulated the fangs in her mouth to peek out. Something predatory came over her when she eats and it tends to freak people out when they see it the first time. She wanted to keep her reputation as a cute, outgoing girl who was as innocent as a flower. Not a terrifying bug that ate like they hadn't seen food in weeks. Her body was already angling itself toward the exit, when in her peripheral vision she saw a girl with purple hair trip and fall into a mountain of food. Brief pity ran through her, and before her mind could protest, she went farther into the nest to help the poor girl.

"Hey, are you alright?" Maxwell held out her hand for the wolf girl to take.

Cardes Bennu

The phoenix arrived into the orientation just as it hit 2:00. Though his personality is generally destructive, he can be punctual if he puts his mind to it. By the time he got there however, most of the seats were taken. He sat in one of the wooden chairs in the back with his hands in his lap. Though his past school experience ended pretty badly, he was certain that he could act like he was obedient. Even if his parents put him in this school without asking first a voice grumbled in the back of his head. Most of the anger had worn off after pacing in his room for a long time, and all that was left was sore bitterness. I could just make them regret it. A smirk cut across his features. He could work on his plan later though. The woman with the stiff face started speaking about the rules, and he decided to listen for once.

He stretched when the woman was done. She had left and he could finally unwind. He hated the way her eyes almost seemed dead, but her gaze felt like daggers in his skin. His stomach growled quite loudly, and he realized that he hadn't eaten today trying to protest going to the school. So, he followed the woman's instructions and headed toward the cafeteria.

It seems that most people had the same idea as him. Some girl at the front of the line took what felt like 5 million years to order and get her food. Hunger gnawing at his stomach, and frustration gnawing at his sanity, he was in a piss- poor mood. He could feel the time- bomb within him slowly start winding down in seconds: 5, 4, 3-

"Orange chicken with chow mein please! Oh, and a cup of hot tea."

The clock stopped

Cardes's muscles had completely froze in preparation for his anger to come bubbling up, but it never came. A complete wave of calm went over him when he heard the boy's voice in front of him. Needless to say, he was confused out of his mind. No friend nor adult could mitigate themselves from his anger outbursts before. He scrutinized the boy, trying to find something that would help this make sense. He had white hair and a white shirt with black jeans and to be honest he was a little, just a tiny bit cute. Who is this kid? The boy was now leaving with his food, and the red- haired phoenix quickly made his order, just ordering a sandwich and a water. Cardes grabbed his tray and walked as fast as he could to catch up to the other boy.

"Hi, I'm -uh- Cardes. Do you want to sit together?" A brief rose dust fell upon the apples of his cheekbones and he looked the other direction, waiting for some sort of response.

@SeverusX

Gah, I'm so tired. Sorry if this doesn't make sense.

Kore

<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_06/kore_by_sweetheartballoon-da78tck.jpg.5c0256a21363a9063dee1e88323e6379.jpg" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="137943" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_06/kore_by_sweetheartballoon-da78tck.jpg.5c0256a21363a9063dee1e88323e6379.jpg" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>

Kore looked herself in the mirror, making sure she looked nice. Her neon green see-through button up highlighted her white strapless crop-top. Her dark grey pleaded skirt and neon green heels makes the look feel complete, even more so with her bracelet and necklace. She checked her cellphone, seeing she has five minutes left before it started. 'Might as well go now.' She thought, locking up her room, and walked towards orientation, catching many male gazes on her form. She sat next to a guy(NPC) who didn't even hide his gaze on her. Kore just winked at him with a mischievous smile and he looked away, blushing and squirming. She almost laughed at the silliness of it all. Honestly, it's the first day and already guys are looking. Are they that desperate? 'Too bad for them, I guess.' She shrugged mentally, listening to the bug-eyed Headmaster. That woman needs a good long sleep, in Kore's opinion.

As soon the Headmaster finished her speech, Kore stood up and left, walking to the cafeteria. It seems that people are already making friends. Goodie, now let's see if there's a friend for her...She ordered a cup of hot cocoa, strawberry cake, and vanilla ice cream. As she turned around, her bright green eyes met with a skull mask and she smiled widely, wanting to laugh at everyone's reaction towards it. "Oh that's priceless! Nice one, Sweetie! Hahah!"

@Zaxs I hope this is okay for a start?

Bell

<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_06/bell_by_sweetheartballoon-da78teh.jpg.26901e9f429e4e5bfb3c6623308d213f.jpg" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="137934" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_06/bell_by_sweetheartballoon-da78teh.jpg.26901e9f429e4e5bfb3c6623308d213f.jpg" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>

Bell woke up, blinking his sleep away as he remembered that he has to go to orientation at two. He checked the clock and was relieved that he still has time to dress up quickly and go. Grabbing a dark orange sweater over his black shirt and light brown cargo pants, Bell left his room, barefooted. As he approached the room where orientation is held, someone opened the door and hits his face. "Oww!" The bunny satyr just smiled and waved away the worried student(NPC), finding and sitting at a random spot. He half-listened to the creepy Headmaster, which again got him to think as to 'Why is everybody working for this school creepy!?' Bell shook his head, dismissing his distrustful thoughts. It's a school, none of the staff members can hurt any of them.

When the Headmaster finished with her speech, students got up and left the room. Bell felt his stomach ache in hunger and he is in the mood for oranges...Leaving the room, he noticed that other students are going to the cafeteria, and he took his chance to get on line. He heard a crash somewhere nearby and saw a red-head checking up on the poor purple-hair girl that fell. He smiled lazily. 'Yay~ Strawberry is helping Grape. That's nice of her.' He turned back to order his food. "
Can I have cajun fries, with a vegetarian burger, and orange juice please? Thank you." While he waited for his food, Bell looked around to find a spot to sit, but then someone caught his eye. There, sitting alone and eating a salad, is a girl with an eyepatch. He leaned to the left, trying to see what her whole face looked like, almost tripping as he did so. She's ...really pretty. Maybe he could sit next to her? But what if she doesn't want him sitting next to her? What if he says something wrong and ruin his chances of being friends with her?! Why is he over-thinking this?! What the hell?

Bell shook his head again, gathering all of his courage, grabbing his food tray, and walked up to her. It took a moment for him to say something, but when he did, he felt his face burning up, his cheeks bright pink.

"
Uh...um...Ithinkyou'repretty!CanIsitnexttoyou?!"

(Uh...um...I think you're pretty! Can I sit next you?! Bell is such a dork

Azazel checked her alarm clock as it was about ten minutes from the orientation, she sighed and got up from her bed. Stretching her arms out and readjusting her mask as it had moved when she tossed and turned on her bed. She stood up and giggled at the idea of going to orientation with this thing on. She unzipped her jacket to reveal her clingy black and white top and the green inside of her jacket. She decided to put on some baggy sweats before she walked to the door and opened it up, and headed to the the orientation room, opening the door she immediately got a few heads to turn her way. She giggled wickedly as the men and women kind of jumped when she walked by, she dragged her finger tips on a blob of a man (NPC) who shivered as her nails dug into him.

She sat down besides a cute looking Imp girl (NPC) who complimented Azazel on her mask, saying it reminded her of guy she once new. But there conversation was interrupted by the head mistress. Azazel paid attention and was excited to see the whole school when she had the time too. Once everything was said and done, she told the Imp girl "Goodbye~" and left to the lunch room.

The line see rather long and it hadn't been moving for a while, but she snuck behind a woman she thought was really pretty and wore a lot of green. Which made Azazel think she be easy to scare. The line finally moved and before long it was the woman's turn to order, she turned around and Azazel smiled. But it soon faded when she didn't really react or looked scared,
"Aww, That wasn't was I was looking for. I thought you be more of an easy scare. Did you see me when I cam in, doll?" Azazel said in a bit of a sad tone, before she ordered her food. "I will take some clams, crab, and a bit of that steak you have there. Make it well cooked. Oh and a soda please."

Alexander shot up from his bed, as he realized he still had to go to orientations. Not to mention he was already running late! he didn't think he fall asleep and quickly exited his room in a panicked mess, going to the orientation door. He didn't want to interrupt anything that was going inside, so he pushed his ear up close to the door. Thank goodness he was able to hear things others would have a hard time with, he followed along with the head mistress talking about the school and other rules he had to follow.

But before long it went quiet Alexander can only imagine that the orientation was now over. But soon the door he was pressing his ear agaisnt shot open and he was pushed back, almost hitting the wall. He looked at all the students walking out of the room, some odd and some that looked normal, some looked like animals, while others looked a little dead?

He smiled and head to the cafeteria with the crowd it was packed by the time he had arrived and it seemed like someone had a nasty fall and food went everywhere. He tried to ignore it, and headed to the line. Once he got to the front he ordered. "Um......I think I will have some pizza, meat lovers. Then I will get...one chicken fried steak and a small water." He took his tray and looked at the lunch room, and wanted to sit next to someone but could;t find the courage to. So he went to the nearest empty lunch table and sat down before anyone could take it.

Xander pulled on his favorite leather jacket and looked at himself in the mirror. He styled his hair up to at least look presentable. He grabbed his key and his smokes before he left his room. Xander climbed the stairs and walked into the room, looking around. His eyes fell on a red head(Maxwell) and he let a smile creep over his face. His smile fell when he seen her face. Not the red head he was looking for.

The quiet half angel sighed as he moved toward the back of the room and leaned against the wall. He watched the spiny woman up front talk and it gave him the creeps. He glared her way. He didn't like her one bit and he had a feeling he would have problems with her.

When the meeting was over he moved from the room and followed a group of people to the cafeteria. He moved into the line which wasn't moving due to a purple headed wolf girl. He smiled at her. She seemed like a lively person. Once he got up front he ordered his favorite. "Could I get manicotti with some bread and olive oil. Also some sweet tea." He mumbled out to the woman. He had to repeat himself because she couldn't hear him.

He took his food when it was ready and stepped out of line. He almost walked straight into the purple head girl who was now on the floor covered in her food. He looked up at the red head he seen earlier. "What happened?" He asked with a furrowed brow. He kneeled down and set his food on the floor. He slipped off his jacket and held it out for the wolf girl. He then looked up at the red head with a confused face.

Topaz looked at her clock and her eyes just about popped out of her head. She grabbed her key and ran out of her door and up the stairs. When she reached the room no one was there. She let out a frustrated sigh as she took off again, searching for all the students. She tripped and fell through the door way into the cafeteria. A younger boy who looked like he was part frog helped Topaz to her feet. "I'm so sorry!" She sighed as she dusted herself off. He nodded his head as he kept on his way.

Topaz jumped in line hoping no one noticed that she didn't make it to the meeting. She got up front and smiled at a woman who kind of creeped her out. "Hello! Can I get a raw steak with a side of macaroni and cheese with a small lemonade?" The woman got to work. Topaz's stomach growled as she watched the woman plop the bloody steak onto a plate.

The Hellhound grabbed her food and stepped out. She looked around for a moment before she spotted a guy with black hair(Alexander) sitting alone. She straightened her back and held her head high as she walked over and plopped down next to him. She set her food down and looked over giving him her famous sweet smile. "Hey!" She held out her hand, nervously picking at her collar with the other. "I'm Topaz."

(Its not my best work. I hope this is alright. I'm exhausted. Sorry guys... :c)

Genesis

orm92t.jpg

After the ridiculously long orientation, they were all released for a late lunch. Genesis made her way slowly to the cafeteria, feeling like everyone was rushing. She really didn't feel like getting trampled. As she entered the room, she saw a few things happening at once, and decided to generally stay out of things. Some wolf girl was tripped, but someone else helped her, so Genesis decided not to bother. As she got up to the line, she looked over the menu and sighed. "I'll have a strawberry salad please, and a vanilla chai tea." After the woman handed her the tray, Genesis picked up some raspberry vinaigrette and made her way to an empty table. Pouring the little cup of dressing over her salad, Genesis began to eat slowly, watching the room come to life as people began to speak to each other. As she looked around the room she began to wonder if she would make any good friends here. Surely it would be easier here, with so many people like her. Genesis wasn't overly concerned at the moment, as her stomach gave a loud growl. "Shut up. I'm feeding you already!" She whispered, rolling her eyes. Taking another bite of her salad, she heard someone approach, and she looked up, ready to make a friend. A cute deer boy stood in front of her, looking nervous.

"Uh...um...Ithinkyou'repretty!CanIsitnexttoyou?!" He called out, words jumbling together. Genesis took a moment to figure out what he said, and when she did, she let out a laugh. "Of course!" She called out happily, gesturing to the seat next to her. She had to admit, she was flattered. He was definitely a cutie, and she had been looking for one. It seemed one had simply fallen into her lap. Taking another bite of her food, she looked at the boys tray and noticed he didn't have meat, either. "Oh! You're a vegetarian too? Awesome! I'm Genesis, by the way." She smiled up at him, feeling like they would definitely get along well. As she was about to speak again, she heard a commotion and turned to look, seeing a white haired boy spilling hot tea on himself. He seemed embarrassed as he rushed from the room, red faced and practically disappearing. Genesis wondered what that was about, but figured the poor boy probably didn't want anyone to bother him. Licking her lips, she sighed and took a drink of her iced tea, wondering if anyone here was dangerous. Surely there were a few dangerous students, but hopefully none of them would hurt each other. She hadn't seen any of the older students so far, so she figured they were probably in class at the moment.

Lucian

24bt1si.jpg

As Lucian was making his way to a table, well, trying to find a table, he heard someone approach him. Turning, he was surprised to see a boy who seemed to be blushing. "Hi, I'm -uh- Cardes. Do you want to sit together?" Lucian was even more surprised by what came out of his mouth. This cute boy wanted to sit with him? Lucian smiled softly, feeling himself blush in return, and nodded. "Y-Yes! That would be great!" He felt that his voice was too squeaky, but said nothing. Turning back around, Lucian tried to find a somewhat empty table. Spotting one, he made his way across the room and took a seat, trying not to let nerves take over and make him embarrass himself. You're going to do something stupid, and he's going to laugh at you. Lucian bit his tongue, refusing to listen to the voice. He wasn't going to let it bother him right now. He just wanted to enjoy lunch with a cute boy.. A cute boy who had singled him out! Lucian hadn't even revealed his sexuality to his parents yet, so he was new to this whole side of dating.

It had been awkward dating girls after finding out he was gay, but Lucian had done it so he wouldn't be bullied. Even so, the relationships never lasted long. He was too shy for the girls, so he was usually dumped after a week. Sighing, Lucian looked at his food and took a bite, trying to be as dainty and non embarrassing as he could. He was a clean eater, but he felt clumsy around Cardes. "Oh.. I'm Lucian!" He called out, remembering her hadn't told Cardes his name. As he reached for his tea, Lucian managed to knock it over, all over himself. The hot liquid spread across his shirt, burning his chest. Lucian jumped up, face flushed with embarrassment as he turned and began to jog from the room, tears in his eyes. Of course he'd done something stupid. He always did. He was too nervous and jittery, he hadn't gotten a good hold on the damn cup. And now he was running out of the cafeteria like a damned idiot. Cardes was probably going to think he was stupid, and never speak to him again. Told you so. For once, Lucian didn't disagree with the voice. Instead, he made his way to the bathroom by the cafeteria, where he took his shirt off and began to scrub at the stain, sniffling and wiping tears from his eyes. His chest was red where it had been burnt, but it wasn't too bad.

Violet

"Damnit!" Violet exclaimed, her amber eyes brightening in rage and her cheeks brightening in even more embarrassment. As her eyes scanned the crowd for anyone suspicious, a set of ribs fell from her hair, across her face, and on the floor. If she wasn't already covered from head to toe in barbecue and steak sauce before, she sure was now. She didn't expect anyone to come and help her, which was usual at her old school, so she was shocked when a reddish-pink haired girl approached her. Even more embarrassed, Violet's ears folded back against her head in shame. "Yeah, I'm fine." She growled, pulling a chicken nugget out of her hair and popping it into her mouth. "Thanks, though."

She picked up one of her trays and began scooping up food and tossing it onto it, in an attempt to clean up.
"Wish that woman would've told us where the laundry rooms are." She muttered to herself, realizing that her leather jacket was pretty much ruined. With a sigh, she shrugged it off, and used it to attempt to clean up the mess unconventionally. Violet glanced up at the girl, giving a brief, barbecue covered smile. She hadn't expected to get so much attention, especially when a guy approached her and immediately lent her his jacket. He didn't look half bad either. One of her ears twitched, awkwardly, sending ketchup flying through the air. "Some asshole decided it would be fun to trip me." She spoke, resisting the urge to growl so that the two wouldn't think of her as some psychotic wolf chick.

Violet took the stranger's jacket,
"Thank you.." She mumbled, taking the jacket and pulling it over herself to cover up at least half of the mess. The only item she had that survived was her water bottle, which didn't do her much good now that she didn't have anything to eat. The girl scrambled around, trying to clean up the huge mess as best as possible. "There's no need to worry about me.. but thanks." She said, looking between the two of them with a sheepish smile. @verifiedkat @Ember Spark

Ezekiel

Zeke had his fun for now, as he made his way into the lunch line. Watching the scene unfold with a devious grin, he ordered, "Yeah, can I get a chicken sandwich with some fries? And unsweetened iced tea." He ordered simply. The room had quickly gotten filled with students, and most of them were in conversations. He was used to being a loner, so sitting by himself wouldn't be a problem. Ezekiel casually walked past the giant mess of food that he had made, flicking a french fry into the wolf girl's hair and turning so she wouldn't suspect him.

With his signature devious grin on his face, Zeke took a seat at an empty table where he could get a good view at everything going on. He noticed several boys and girls talking, as well as taking note of a sexy succubus or two, already talking to others.
'I guess I got to the market of ladies just a little bit too late.' He thought to himself, a small frown appearing on his face, before quickly becoming a smile again as he noticed an embarrassed white haired boy rush out of the room. He laughed lightly to himself, finding humor in the fact that he had embarrassed himself without Zeke's help. 'He'd be fun to mess with.' Zeke shrugged to himself, taking a bite of his sandwich casually.

Maxwell Arachne

As her two fangs pushed into the sides of her mouth, begging to be used to eat, it made it harder to talk than before. Her salivary glands started producing more saliva that contained enzymes that weren't in humans. The smell of food was overwhelming especially now that to poor wolf girl was covered in it. However, Maxwell pushed on even though her words started slurring. "I'm glad you're okay. My name's Maxwell." She then got down on her knees and helped the purple haired girl sweep some stray pieces of food onto the tray. When the ground looked a little cleaner than before, she stood up and swept some crumbs from her lap. Then, a dark haired man approached and offered the girl his clean jacket.

"Some asshole decided it would be fun to trip me." The poor girl said, putting on the jacket. What a mess... who thought this would be entertaining? To watch someone scramble on their knees in embarrassment? Maxwell thought. The wolf girl seemed pretty distraught at the moment, trying to clean the huge mess with a ruined jacket and shrugging off their concerns.

"Hold on for a second. I'm going to get something." Maxwell went to go grab some things.

The arachnid came back with some damp paper towels from the kitchen. She set them down in the floor with a wet plop and grabbed one.

"We can use these to clean the mess and wipe some of the food off your clothes." Maxwell then went to work, wiping the floor free of grime.

Cardes Bennu

Heart thumping in nervousness, Cardes followed the white- haired boy to a vacant table. This was the first time he had ever been romantically interested in another person. Yeah, sure he noticed cute boys every once in awhile, but that part of him had gone unnoticed for years. He was more interested in getting back at people who crossed him or being engrossed in his favorite subjects. They both sat at opposite ends of the table eating, though the white -haired boy wasn't eating much. Maybe he's not a big eater? Oh well. Cardes ate like he always did; as if the world was ending. However, he did slow himself down a little bit to show some courtesy.

"Oh.. I'm Lucian!" Lucian said and Cardes took a paused from his eating to look at the boy he was sitting with. Lucian seemed just as nervous as he was, so that made him feel a little bit better. His voice was soft and seemed to calm Cardes down. It was like listening to fabric in the wind. The red- haired boy took a deep breath. "It's nice-"

Tea spilled over Lucian's white shirt. Cardes watched as the white hair boy got up and jogged to the bathroom. If it were anyone else, he might have sat there and waited for his partner to clean themselves up but... Lucian seemed a little more upset than what spilling a hot drink on yourself would entail. So, he got up and cautiously walked toward the bathroom.

Cardes made it to the cafeteria bathroom and put his ear on the door. There was the sound of water running, which was expected, but there was also the sound of sniffling. Oh god. How do you help crying people? He knows how to interact with mad people and happy people. But he doesn't really know how to approach. I really hope I don't mess up this chance.

Cardes raps on the bathroom door lightly. The door is unlocked, but he's at a loss of what to do."Hey, um... can I come inside?" He didn't want to leave Lucian alone. He wanted to support him, but they still had only just met each other.

Kore

"No, I didn't see when you came in, Sugar plum. Trust me, I would've been staring at you for your hauntingly beautiful mask."
She purred, smiling happily, and waiting for her new and very pretty companion, who is ordering her food. The succubus heard her subtle sad undertone in her voice and she wants to somehow cheer her up; She didn't mean to ruin her fun...maybe if she offered her help? But what would she...Oh! Kore's smile turned devious as an idea hatched in her thoughts and she hopes that the lady in the mask would accept it.

Hmm...She needs to ask her name first. After all, it'll be rude to not know the name of a possible partner-in-crime.

As Kore grabbed her tray of goodies, she asked in a low sultry voice.
"My name's Kore Demeter. May I know the name of this lovely mask's owner? I would love to chat with you about fun plans to surprise other poor students, if you want of course." She tilted her head slightly, her wings fluttering slowly, and smiled mischievously at her masked companion.

Then a white haired boy quickly ran past her and out the door, making her blink in surprise. Did that boy have tears in his eyes? The poor kid...

Kore then remembered about the other guy, the one with red hair that was sitting next to the white haired kid, and wondered 'What will you do now, Red?' She saw that he was going to follow the other boy and she returned to her conversation with the masked lady, waiting for her so they can sit together. She wished Red the best of luck.

Bell

Did...did she say yes? He couldn't help but smile widely. Yay! He sat next to her, taking a sip of his orange juice. He couldn't believe his luck. Normally, girls would just flat out tell him 'no' and he would just walk into a corner alone, but she actually said 'yes'.
"Oh! You're a vegetarian too? Awesome! I'm Genesis, by the way." Genesis...Wow, that's a pretty name. He smiled back at her, nodding yes at her question. "Yea, I'm a vegetarian too. I tried to eat meat before, but it tasted really odd to me." He shrugged half-heartily. "My name is Bell. Nice to meet you, Genesis." She looked like she was going to ask something when a commotion happened and he looked, just in time to see a white haired boy running from the cafeteria. What on Earth happened? His ears folded back, frowning anxiously at the cafeteria doors where the kid left. Then a red haired guy followed him. He shook his head, making his hair more of a bedhead then it was before, and ate a Cajun fry. They'll ...be fine...Bell decided to look for the white haired kid later, to check up on him. Maybe they can be friends. At least he looks friendly...

Once again, his distrustful thoughts came back, remembering the Headmaster and the attendants. There's just...Something about them makes Bell really jittery in a bad way. Like he should run away and don't ever look back type of jittery. Then again, it could be because it's the first day and he is just nervous from the new environment. He'll get used to it after a week, no biggie. He took a bite out of his vegetarian burger.

Nothing bad will happen. After all, school is a safe area...

"What was that you were gonna ask, Genesis?"

"Aww well, you didn't give me a chance to scare you..though it's okay. Many other students were frightened or at least looking scared." Azazel gathered her food and placed them on her tray. Then she began to walk along side the girl she tried to scare from behind, but as she turned she say a man run past her to exit the cafeteria. She didn't know what to think of it and tilted her head in confusion. Azazel's new companion, which is what she thought they were. What were they actually? What do you call a person you try to scare and they get more chummy with you then they do scared.

The girl which Azazel just found out was named Kore, leaned in and whispered to Azazel.
"My name is Azazel, that is a very lovely name you have there. Now tell me more about this plan you have" She giggled and sat down at one of the tables for the cafeteria, she scooted closer to Kore, so their plan wouldn't leave their ears.

Azazel had a smirk on her face as she looked across the room at all the other students eating. How some have just met and others barely meeting, she hoped she would do the same with more students.

Alexander sat alone at the tables, he looked around at the crowd of people. Almost no one sat next to him and and he looked down at his food. He wasn't sure what to do with his loneliness, so he got up and decided to head off to another table. Maybe he can find people to talk to.

But just as he got up, a boy with bright white hair ran past him and he watched as he seemed to have spilled something on himself. He ran out of the cafeteria and then Alexander saw another boy follow steadily behind him. Exiting the cafeteria too. Alexander was curious and he had to find out why they both left, he was always nosy. he followed behind made sure to stay hidden. They reached the restroom and Alexander just listened in.

Xander watched the purple headed girl take his jacket, a faint smile on his lips. He looked up as the red head quickly left but returned in just a minute or so. She dropped soaking wet paper towels on the floor and began cleaning up the mess. Xander began to pick up the plates and tray. He stood and returned them to the women who worked in the kitchen.

When he returned he grabbed a paper towel and started to clean up the floor. To be honest he felt naked without his jacket, but the wok girl needed it. He didn't mind at all. It could be cleaned. Maybe she would let him throw his jacket in the laundry with her clothes.

Once he was done cleaning up as much as the 4 little paper towels could hold he stood and dumped them in the bin. When he came back he kneeled down and looked between the girls. "My names Xander." He said as he grabbed another paper towel and did a sweep of the floor with it, making sure he picked up everything he could.

She looked around and spotted a boy who sat alone. She smiled the remembered she had food. Her stomach growled as she looked down at the bloody steak. Topaz looked back up and contemplated on whether or not she should sit with him. He had such a mischievous smile on his lips. She sighed. "You'll never get to know anybody if you worry..." She mumbled to herself.

The hellhound straightened her back and pulled a smile to her lips. She sauntered over to the boy and placed her food on the table next to him. She pulled out her chair and sat. She took a breath before she turned toward him.

"My name is Topaz!" She blurted out. Her hand held his way as the other nervously picked at her collar, the small pentagram making a dinging noise. She was nervous, yes. But only of rejection. Her smile never faltered as she watched him closely.

Violet

Violet heard the slur in the girl's words, and couldn't help but tilt her head to the side like a confused puppy. "Are you sure you're okay?" She asked, hinting at the way Maxwell's voice sounded. She looked between the two of them briefly, as she resumed cleaning up the mess. "I'm Violet." She informed them, just before Maxwell walked away. "Okay. Take your time. I don't plan to leave anytime soon." Violet spoke, before turning back to the guy. Too awkward to say anything to him, she just stared at him for a little bit, having not realized that she was being rude.

When Maxwell came back, Violet's ears perked up happily. "You're a genius!" She exclaimed, "I should have thought about that before I completely ruined my jacket." Violet held up her sloppy, food and sauce covered jacket with a sigh, before standing and tossing it in the trash. Once leather got ruined, there was no fixing it. She was just grateful that the guy let her use his jacket to cover up her mess. When she came back, Violet picked up a paper towel and began to clean off the floor as well, until everything was mostly clean. She nodded when Xander introduced himself.

"Thank you guys for helping me out. It means a lot." She said, trying not to be too awkward. The girl then worked on cleaning herself off with the remaining paper towels, but her shirt was probably going to remain stained. From her hair she pulled a french fry, and took a bite. "Not half bad.." She spoke to herself, before standing up. Violet through away the rest of the paper towels before looking at the two. "So... um... you guys wanna sit together?" She asked, once again tilting her head to the side. She would change later, but for now, she wanted to at least attempt to socialize. @verifiedkat @Ember Spark

Ezekiel

Zeke was pulled out of his entertainment when he heard the sound of a tray being set down on his table. His head snapped towards the sound, and his smile faded, as his eyes became a rustic red color. He enjoyed pranking and scaring others, but when he was startled, himself, it was different. Zeke was about to snap at whoever had made their way to his table, until he noticed that it was a girl. His smile quickly reappeared, as he studied the girl intently. Her introduction was abrupt, but he didn't mind that, assuming everyone was nervous. Zeke chuckled a bit, before shaking Topaz's hand. "Zeke." He said. His eyes landed on the collar around her neck, and his grin widened, a look of general excitement in his eyes. "I'm surprised a cute little puppy like yourself isn't still with Luci." He chuckled, knowing he probably confused the girl. Luci was his nickname for Lucifer, and if his assumption was right, she was a Hellhound. Zeke didn't want to strike a nerve, he was just glad to see someone who originated from the same place as himself, and he hoped that she took his comment as a compliment.

Maxwell Arachne

Maxwell froze a bit when Violet asked if she's okay. "I'm fine, I just... don't like the smell of food very much." It wasn't a total lie, just a tiny bit off. She continued cleaning the food off of the floor with the paper towels. There was still some on the floor, but they were mostly leftover sauces and stray pieces of food.

When they finished cleaning, Maxwell stood and brushed some crumbs off her lap. "It was really no problem." She smiled at the unfortunate wolf girl. Then Violet suggested sitting together. However, the thought of staying in this fragrant room made her stomach churn and head spin. What if she got out of control? Maxwell really wanted to sit with them. These were the first people she's talked to this whole school year and from her short time with them, she knew they were ultimately good people. She weighed the pros and cons for a second in her head before quickly deciding. "I'd love to, just um... can we sit outdoors? It's a beautiful day outside?" She gave an exaggerated smile. She wasn't sure if there were even tables outside the cafeteria. Looking between the two of them for approval, she awaited a response to her proposal.

Cardes waited for a response while leaning his back up against the door. He really hoped that Lucian wasn't crying because of him. Now that he thinks about it, Lucian probably is the only person who could calm him down if Cardes got angry again. It would be horrible to let this chance pass him by. Not to mention, Lucian seemed to be at least a little bit interested in him.

She giggles, loving the fact they are bonding over scaring people. "Well, my plan consists of catching people off guard. Like I'll ask someone to come to a quiet place and while they wait, 'Boo!' You can scare them by jumping out. We could even stalk them enough to make them freak out during the night and scare them when they least suspect it!" Kore whispered, making sure that no one else can hear her. It wouldn't be fun if someone heard it.

She grabbed her spoonful of cake and ate it, her wings fluttering a bit from being happy with the sweet taste. She can't enough of sweet things, especially baked goods. "I'm pretty sure you love to pop out of no where, so I'll help set the mood for our potential scare victim. Are you in, pumpkin?" She purred that last part, sipping her hot cocoa. All she needs to do is find good scare victims, ones that she knows for sure would be scared easily. Kore grinned mischievously, already eyeing one or two students who could fit the bill. This year is gonna be fun~

Bell ate his food quietly, waiting for Genesis' response, as his mind wondered else where. It wasn't easy to dismiss his nerves. Normally, they work for his survival. It's the only reason why he is still alive while he lived with his mother for a few weeks. Now it's bugging him again, but this time with the staff and Headmaster. The satyr decided to keep an eye on them, just in case. There's nothing wrong with scoping out the area and finding secret rooms too, for escape plans...He sighed to himself. Already freaking out when nothing happened? His nerves is weird.

Azazel looked at Kore as she giggled. This girl seemed devilish but so was Azazel, so she thought they would get along better then most people do. She could tell that this new friend of hers was almost like her, she was a succubus and Azazel was a Cambion. Which was close to the same thing, though she Azazel wasn't quite as charming, but she knew how to flirt the same as an succubus.

Azazel listened in close to what Kore had to say, "That sounds like an amazing idea! The element of surprise is hard to pull off to some of these students, but it will be even easier if you helped." Azazel giggled manically. But giggle became a much louder laughter as she heard the second plan. "That is sure to make someone uneasy and not to mention. This mask showing up in their classes."

Azazel began to cut up her steak and eat the rest of her food. She licked her lips as the flavor of the sushi and raw fish entered her mouth. "I would love your help. I am in darling. you will be my partner in crime and I will gladly accept this as our friendship." Azazel took Kore's hand and gave a handshake. "I can't wait to scare some students with you. I might even let you try on the mask yourself. How does that sound?"

Xander

He grabbed his tray of food and stood next to the wolf girl who goes by Violet. He nodded his head and glanced around for a moment. Before the red head caught his attention. He watched her closely as she mumbled out words, seeing to keep her mouth hidden.

That's when Xander felt the tear of skin. He winced and pushed the feeling back. He looked around and finally concentrated on the red heads shoes. He was having problems with this earlier in his room but now? He had at least a 10 to 15 foot span. He'd knock over at least a dozen other students. He pushed back the feeling of letting his wings spread. He looked up and looked toward the door. Maybe one day he would let them go.

"Ill go find us somewhere outside if you guys want to get food." He smiled toward them, his eyes lingering toward Violet. "Ill be outside."

Xander moved toward the door with his tray in hand. He pushed open the door and was surprised at the lack of students outside. He moved toward a picnic table and sat down.

Taking a breath he steadied himself. He pushed his black hair from his blue eyes and smiled at the view.

Heat rose to Topaz's cheeks. She moved her hand from her collar and to her lap. She want the nervous type but Zeke was making her nervous. She took a deep breath and listened to his, what seemed like, a compliment.

Luci? She thought for a moment, confusion on her face. 'Luci... Luci... Luci...' Her eyes lit up. "Oh! Lucifer. Yea. Uhh.." She paused, looking up at Zeke. "Lucifer let me out when I was young, after the collar process. He wanted to 'try something'." She shook her head. "I haven't spoken to him but I have taken a few souls."

The hell hound grinned at herself. She loved what she did. "Oh!" She jumped surprising even herself at her excitement. She calmed herself down before she continued. "Maybe I can show you what I do the next time Death calls on me!" Topaz was excited to share her life with someone. Someone she could maybe call a friend. Something shes never had.

Genesis

Genesis turned to Bell, smiling shyly. "I was just wondering, and like, not in a rude way!!" She made sure to say this, in case Bell got offended somehow. "But what's it like to have deer legs?" She took another bite of her food, deciding to close her mouth. Genesis didn't want to offend Bell- he was so sweet, and totally cute. Of course, she was always saying something to offend someone. It was like a talent of hers. Taking a drink of her tea, Genesis waited for Bell's answer, holding her breath practically. She didn't want to ruin something before it even started. As silly as it was, she was sure that she and Bell could become good friends.

Lucian

24bt1si.jpg

Lucian sighed and splashed some cold water on his face, after cooling his burn. He was still upset, but at the moment, he'd managed to stop his tears. The voice in his head was quiet, too, for once. Swallowing harshly, Lucian heard something crash outside the door. Worried about Cardes, Lucian exited the bathroom, only to see that another boy had joined them. Standing in the hall shirtless, Lucian peered down at the boy, confused. "Are.. Are you alright?" He asked, looking to Cardes. "Thank you for following me.. I'm sorry about that. I was-- I burnt myself." He let out a nervous laugh, pointing to the red spot on his chest. His cheeks flamed up, embarrassed again. This time, though, he refused to let it get to him. Everyone got embarrassed... He'd be fine. No one here was laughing at him.
