Make them a card for when they get back. Or if you're lazy, schedule a text of a card you found on the internet.
when u see that one person who always drops rps apologizing to their partners and ur just like "they gonna drop u, babe" bc they always do
Lmao people acting all edgy and 2cool4me, but you joined a role play site just like I did, buddy.

Edgy ey? Like, a child dressed completely in black choosing a farm tool as their weapon of choice and refraining from all forms of social interaction kinda edgy?

I love being ignored after I make a request! :D

You should understand that people are busy with their real lives and may not have all the time in the world just to work on requests. Besides, it was more than likely a free request? I'm assuming an art one? They get no money from if whatsoever, so technically they don't have to do anything. Either way, posting statuses like this will more than likely make them not want to even complete the request...

There's a difference between being busy and ignoring someone. Even if the request was free, they should have the decency to respond to a message asking for an update. Ignoring someone completely is definitely not the right way to go.

I'm an artist as well, so I know that they don't have to do anything. But if I wasn't going to do someone's request, I would message them to let them know, or at the very least respond to their message about what was going on. And I doubt they know that I'm speaking about them. I don't really care if they finish it at this point, since I'm being ignored, but whatever.
Tess Holliday should not be a role model, an inspiration, or someone that women call "goals". She is not a plus sized model. She is an obese model.

She's still a plus sized model though. That's her job title, regardless of weight. But yeah, a 46.6 BMI?? I hope some of that is muscle or she's gonna die, and fast holy shit
okay but real question.. why do people (adults) think that erotic scenes between two adult writers are gross and/or boring? i really don't get it???

How? If it's done well, and written as story and not just for shut, then how is it gross?

And, how is it any more boring than writing a regular role play post?

Ps- how old are you lol

Basically what Ammy said. At least, that's what I'm hoping is the mentality of most people that hold that opinion. I have nothing ethically against it. However, almost every time I've seen two writers that go into a roleplay knowing they're both okay with writing erotic scenes, suddenly the entire thing seems to become a means to an end. The romance is rushed, characters become flat because otherwise they would have no chemistry, and any existing plot gets nowhere near as much attention as the erotic scenes do. At that point, it seems to me as though their characters are self-inserts being used for the sake of playing out their own sexual fantasies... repeatedly. Similar reasons to why people shit on fanfiction. Then it's kind of like watching a porn but then the star is standing there after the show available to talk to, which is uncomfortable because in most cultures, sex is considered a very private matter. It's entirely possible to do it tastefully where it actually contributes to the story, but for as long as I've been roleplaying, I've only seen it done once.

If you're talking about light, risqué details, then that's not too bad.

But very detailed back and forth RPing of a sex scene is pretty much just cybering and no body else involved ( I'm assuming you're talking about group RP) is really going to want to read it. So if you really need to do it, take it to some sort of off site private messaging. You can still say whatever happens between your characters is canonical.
