Alana is a very no-nonsense pokemon who takes things very seriously, especially when it comes to exploring and training. She's overall tomboyish, and isn't afraid to get her hands dirty when necessary. She doesn't back down from a challenge either. Furthermore, Alana is kind-hearted and protective of others, but can be a tad harsh because of her bluntness. Stubborn, proud, and loyal, Alana possesses a fiery spirit that isn't easily extinguished, so she has a bit of a temper. She doesn't give up easily, regardless of the circumstances. She's inquisitive as well. These traits help make her an excellent explorer. However, she is very sensitive when it comes to the color of her fur, as it is obviously a very feminine shade and she doesn't look like normal Riolus. Those who call her Pinky may get a fist to the face if that aren't careful. Femininity isn't a forte of hers, but perhaps that's to be expected considering she is a fighting type pokemon. That being said, Alana is a rather quiet individual who prefers being alone when able except in the case of her teammates.
Background:
Alana's parents were an odd couple, her father being a Blazikien and her mother a Lucario, having met when Alana's father rescued her mother as part of a mission. Despite their typings, it was love at first site for the two. For a few years the pair traveled around the land before they at last settled down at Treasure Town and decided to start a family. A year later, their first and only child was born: a female Riolu with unusual, peacha berry colored fur, which they decided to name Alana. Growing up was difficult for Alana, as she was often teased and mocked because of the color of her fur. She was bullied on quite frequently, and despite her parents attempts to instill some courage into their child, grew only more subdued, shy, and depressed. She wouldn't stand up for herself, and compared to other fighting type pokemon her age was rather weak and frail. For years Alana suffered, until one day an traveling exploration team stood up for her, admonishing the other children for their behavior. It was quite the site to behold, three intimidating pokemon telling a bunch of twerps off, and from that day forward things got better for her. Inspired and thankful for their help, and remembering the advice the exploration team gave her, Alana changed. No longer would she be a timid, weak, frail, little Riolu. No longer would she allow herself to be bullied by the likes of other pokemon. No. She, over time, trained and trained, growing stronger until she was just as strong if not stronger than others her age. Thus, an entirely different person emerged due to the aid of a few.
Time passed, and forever inspired by that exploration team, Alana decided to join Wigglytuff's guild and become a member of Team Loki.
