Abilities :: Incomparable when it comes to diplomacy, his way with words is unparalleled, hence his position as Ambassador. Is also a master in the art of physical manipulation, using magicka to alter reality, either by moving, transforming and otherwise affecting objects in the world. When it concerns combat, the Elf is proficient with destruction magic, particularly that surrounding the element of fire, and is adept with a short sabre.

Personality ::  Taure is an advocate for balance, and thus attempts to take a neutral position in most things. Naturally, he is affected by his own bias, but tries his hardest not to be. His loyalty is to his friends first and foremost, though often finds himself being questionably loyal to his faction and sometimes friends in support of the 'greater good'. It's difficult to describe anyone's personality with words, unless I write an essay, and so I'm going to keep it simple. His personality will become more prevalent the more I write. Simply put, he is polite, good natured, and refrains from taking sides. He is actually close with Amelie Montclair, and the two consider one another friends; though he isn't as close with Annalise. His relationship with the other leaders is mostly professional, though his interactions with Empress Rhea Petilia has, over time, formed a very peculiar relationship. The two can't seem to decide if they are friends or enemies, and thus their chatter is always tense and indirectly aggressive, but it's harmless.

History :: (This is brief explanation) - He was born in Lorfalas, a beautiful mountain city on Silme Asea; though left for Ellarvien by his thirtieth year. At this point, the city of Ellarvien was under the rule of King Cyremon, and the last surviving member of the Royal Malinan Bloodline of Silme Asea. With the growing influence of the human races to the South, both that of the Petilian Empire, and Doredhel; Cyremon felt the need to send out vessels to each of the respective islands, in an attempt to broker a sure peace. Whilst House Montclair was somewhat eager, the Petilian Empire was hesitant. Udunnim was a mostly barren land, with a large desert covering a vast portion of its centre. Whilst the island of Mae-Sul was far more forgiving, and somewhat rich in materials, it did not excuse the fact that the island was small. Silme Asea's verdant woodlands, and large mountain range to the south-west, provided a great deal of encouragement for the Petilian Empire to attempt invasion.

Unsure as to how the scenario would play, Cyremon grew anxious, knowing full well that the elves had no official armed forces to speak of; that they would be wholly unprepared for an actual war. Master Tavari approached the king of his own volition, offering to travel to Udunnim alone, on a small vessel, as a representative of Silme Asea; and assured Cyremon he would resolve the problem. Naturally he was dismissed, and turned away. Thus Taure decided to do so anyway, travelling to Udunnim under the false identity of an Ambassador, and requested an audience with Emperor Marinus - which was granted. The elf merely explained that Udunnim would be open to trade from both Doredhel and Silme Asea, and would swiftly become a flourishing trade centre. He may also have subtly hinted that starting a war with Silme Asea, whom were already in a treaty with Doredhel, would mean battling a war on two fronts; and against the most powerful force in the Isles of Celebrant - though he tried not to make this his main point, he imagined it was the most effective. Regardless of what truly swayed the Emperor's decision, Tavari was sent back to Ellarvien with good news. King Cyremon, whom asked the elf how he'd managed it (Taure refused to say, lest Cyremon realise how easy it was), negotiated a favourable peace treaty with the Petilian Empire - and swiftly appointed Taure a place in his council.

Over the years the elf merely gained a reputation, and his uncanny prowess for both diplomacy and the arcane arts became more prevalent. He was appointed Ambassador during this time, and when the young Master Elandil was born (the heir to a well respected family in Ellarvien) Taure was requested to tutor Elandil in the ways of the arcane. When King Cyremon did eventually die, Elandil's father, Erundil, was proposed to act as Viceroy in the stead of the Royal Family (Cyremon fathered no children) - though by this point Erundil was already reaching the ripe age of seven hundred. As Elandil grew, he and Taure developed a good relationship, and even after having finished his official tutoring, Elandil came to Master Tavari with his questions and looking for advice. Thus it was only natural that when Elandil was appointed Viceroy, after his father stepped down (his mind having reached the point that he could not be wholly trusted with the rule over Ellarvien), that he request Taure as his personal advisor. Despite other pre-occupations, Taure accepted the position, and thus remains as such until today.

I'll review this in a few hours, the formatting on mobile is so horrendous I'm not even going to try.

Regarding magic involving physical manipulation, and alteration of matter etc. -- he's mastered that art. He can move objects telekinetically (within reason), the heavier the object the more strenuous the effort - trying to move something dense and the size of a building for example, would be a stupid waste of effort, because he wouldn't get anywhere. He can also transmogrify certain things - for example turning water into another liquid of similar consistency. This is difficult however, and whenever something is changed it is done slowly, and must alter to something very similar. He can't turn mud into diamonds for example, and cannot directly change solid objects, as their matter is less prone to transformation.

There are other spells, such as creating bubbles (spheres of energy that can confine things - for example a bubble of air to provide a few minutes of underwater breathing), or kinetic shields, but they have limits.

This is where his affinity for fire magic comes in handy. He's merely adept at this, but can do some small things. Casting a small gout of flame, or a fireball here and there, is easy. Melting metals, and then transmogrifying them, or evaporating a liquid (the more energy in each atom makes transmogrification far easier), is something he commonly does. He can't, however, produce firestorms, or giant fiery explosions that blow up crowds of people at once. He ain't that good. However, Taure does try to be imaginative with his abilities, often creating simple but ultimately powerful spells.

Alright...but he can't say turn the blood in someone's vein to acid to kill time instantly, yes?

xD  No, he won't do that. I wouldn't say if he could or not, but he'd never cause someone unnecessary harm. If he must kill, he'll do it somewhat humanely. And regardless of that, as I mentioned, transmogrification is a slow process - so he'd have to leave himself open for minutes and minutes just to do that to someone, easily giving them enough time to just stop him.
