Shadows cling to this girl, like fresh fallen snow on the ground. If you were to look at this girl eight years ago, you would not think they were one and the same. Once a bubbly girl with a vibrant personality, She grew up as a member of the Mahagnei clan, who devoted many members to the priesthood of the Cutting Wind, their god. A noted student of Hemomancy, or blood magic, She was intended to take vows and devote her life to the care and protection of her shrine.
However, that would change.
[SIZE= 13px]On her rite of passage through the mountains, Demons swarmed her and the guards accompanying her. The guards were killed...including her twin brother. She was taken by the demons, who tortured both her body and mind. This continued for an entire year, before her mind snapped. She managed to break, cutting a bloody path with her brothers sword, freeing herself and the other captives.....But she has not been the same since. She refuses to speak of the horrors she endured, and has lost nearly all showing of emotion. Instead of continuing down on the path she was predestined, Tanya approached the shrine of the Cutting Wind, asking for strength and power. That came in the form of the Kami Ikiryo, translating to the God's Wraith, said to be the purest manifestation of their gods will.[/SIZE]
[SIZE= 13px]Taking up where her brother left off, she has studied for seven years to become a deadly assassin, learning the arts and skills of her clan and home. Though many question why, she has applied to study at School of monster hunting, Scholomance. When questioned about her decision, she answered simply that she was fulfilling a promise, and that nothing else mattered. This apathetic girl then made her way towards the school, some hoping it would help her regain her sense of humanity.[/SIZE]

Emotionless and Apathetic, unless it involves her or her goals directly, Tanya will turn a blind eye to the suffering of others. However, she pursues the tasks and goals in front of her with ruthless prosecution, unafraid to kill an innocent to achieve it. She isolates herself from others, and refuses commit or create attachments. Her only driving force seems to be to fulfill whatever promise she has made, and make no mistake- If you ever had the luck to get her to promise you something, she would do it without question or reason.
