INTRUDERS
Hated by Sentinels and welcomed by Revolutionists, Intruders are humans that have found their way to Talorn through the Door. Usually, they appear by accident, having little knowledge of Talorn.

If smart enough not to be captured by the Sentinels, they usually find refuge with Revolutionists. Most of the humans have gone into hiding within the Bunker, while others are hidden with the city of Astrid with a wealthier member of the Revolution.

They are average, with no special ability and are shunned by may around them. In the world of Talorn, they have only their will and ability as a human being to survive.

BYSTANDER
Those who write their own stories without choosing to dabble in the affairs of Intruder, Revolutionist, or Sentinels reside in the category of the bystanders.

These are citizens who live their lives as they see fit, choosing not to acknowledge the door or participate in the battle between government/people.

In Astrid, these are the creatures that make peace, being neutral in conflict and choosing to carry out their own lives, their own story. Although at times, they may be unfortunately involved, they generally do not care about the threat of humans. There's not much to say about them except that they are swayed by only their wills.

REVOLUTIONIST
Warriors of change, Revolutionists are scattered about Tarlon with a hatred for the sly and greedy government. They offer aid to humans who seek refuge against the raking eyes of Sentinels.

Long before the door, they were extremely active, launching riots and attacks.

However, they were completely silenced once the King's father took over. The Revolutionists were forced into hiding, still harbouring their disdain for the government. Whenever possible, they will choose to defy and will skirt around the law to keep their connections open.

A majority of the Revolutionists live in the Bunker and some special few house Intruders.

The Bunker:

Cast away in the darker side of Astrid, the Bunker is home to all Revolutionists. It's streets filled with shady figures and black markets, the Bunker is no place for the weakminded, instead giving birth to witty characters. Originally starting as a refuge camp for early Revolutionists, the Bunker has evolved into a market for those who are on the wrong side of the law, whether its for disobedience or actual felonies. It's not the prettiest place, but the Bunker is one hell of an area lying underneath Astrid. Out of sight, out of mind. Or is it?

The City of Astrid -
Astrid, the heart of Talorn, was built around the government building - the Percepan Building. This building is where all the government officials live, work, and eat. They are not often seen outside of this building, most going in and never coming out until their demise came, which can be a very long time as life spans in Talorn vary from very short to incredibly long. The town was named after the Goddess Astrid, who they believe to be the most beautiful and good Goddess. Her star pattern appears directly above the town and can be seen on clear nights.
The door that resides on the wall of Astrid has been there since anyone can remember, never opening - as far as the people know. It has been both a threat and a comfort to the people, knowing it can open at any time but it protected by the Guards. Many religious communities are based around the door, believing that through it is the afterlife, where the Goddess Astrid resides.

The Woodland -
This area surrounds the city of Astrid, home to many creatures in Talorn as well as old buildings and things that should never have seen the light of day. During previous times, illegal buildings and trades were set up here but were taken down by the government in secrecy. It was a bloodbath, and because of this some believe that the woods are haunted in areas, and there are many stories that can be heard of mysterious, unexplainable things happening in these woods. In addition to this, the Woodland contains many dilapidated, old buildings. It is common among those who are adventurous to visit these buildings, breaking in. But be wary, you may disturb what rests in these buildings, and what has made them their homes. A few of the buildings present contains locks on them, as what went on inside is forbidden by any creature to see.
