Fandom Sword art Online

~Intro~

Nervously, you pick up the nerve gear and plug it into the socket. Taking a deep breath, you look around your room, memorizing details that you hadn’t noticed before. Somehow, it feels like this will be the last time you see your room for a while. Closing your eyes, you put the nerve gear on, and it starts. A screen flashes, and the monitor beeps. “Link start!” You command, and you are in a virtual world.

You have a pretty sure idea as to where you are, and you check your map which is on the menu. Hundreds of other players seem to be around too, as they talk with real life friends, and catch up, you walk out to the fields where you see a small purple hog monster. Pulling out your given weapon, you take a deep breath and strike the monster. After hitting it a few times repeatedly, it disintegrates into shining holographic polygons. A small screen announces, and you gain the amount of EXP, Col, and items.

This roleplay is based off of Sword Art Online.

~Summary~

You are now trapped in the game Swort Art Online, and with the help of other players, you must clear all 100 levels to reset and clear the game.

Arabella/Haru~

“There you go,” Haru put down the last plate, which she had been washing. Her twin sisters were in bed, and so was her baby brother. She glanced at the dark dining room, where some left overs and rice were sitting waiting for her mom, who was still working late at the hospital. Sighing, she quietly trudged up the stairs to the bathroom, where she untied her long black hair, and got into a hot shower. Drying her hair with a towel, Haru got up and walked into her room, where she plugged in her nerve gear, to log back into the game Sword art Online. She had been a tester for this since the beginning, and wanted to see how the game was running. Taking a deep breath, she put the gear on, “Link start!” She cried. Opening her eyes, she adjusted to her avatar, and tossed her teal hair over her shoulder. She was at the Town of Beginnings. There were still a lot of players logged in, and it was still really bright. Using her right hand, she sliced it down through the air so that the menu would pop up. It was still 5:30 here. ‘That’s strange.. It’s usually the same time at home..’ Haru thought to herself.

As Haru walked down the dusty path, she spotted a wolf, who's red eyes quickly located the long blue haired girl. Charging at her, Haru calmly pulled out her lavender colored diamond one handed straight sword, and sprinted forward, sword tip angled slightly so that when the wolf was right across from her, she kept running so that the sword tip slashed and ripped the wolf before it blew up in tiny shimmering polygons. Congratualtions! The holographic window popped up announcing her victory and showing her how much EXP and Col she had earned.

Suddenly red lights began flashing around the virtual world, "Please report to the Town of Beginnings. I repeat, please report to the Town of Beginnings." An electronic voice announced over the loud speakers. Hurry back, Haru sprinted to where there was a growing group of players hunched over or quietly talking to each other. Each of them seemed disturbed and were talking about how the log out button was missing. The log out button? Haru thought quietly to herself as she slashed her left hand downwards. The holographic menu popped up, showing her username, a picture of a body with all the things she was equipped with right now and where, along with her level; 16 (from the Beta Test) and XP which was full, and then five circular buttons. Haru hit the last button and sure enough, there was no log out button. "That's weird..."

Gus was at his home, watching TV of the past, being bored. He quietly got up, knocked on his parents door and said "Going to play my Game..." where he then went into his room, tossing the pillow off his bed and remaking his bed, the sheet barely held on, and he got into his bed, putting the pillow back on. He puts on his Nervegear, attaching his helmet into the extension cord, and went in.

Gus in here was known as Chaos Gus Overlord, wearing pitch black armor he looked like a demonic knight, he was level 20 since the beta, he had a lot of free time, and he enjoyed the game. He raised himself from his spot, swiped his hand, navigated the menus to a small browser, and started playing some music, which then got interrupted 6 seconds later with the "Please Report to the Town of Beginnings" Gus snarled, what is so important this time? Being more annoyed then mad, he decided, "Why can't i make it a fun way?" before he began running, and he laughed, he always loved running in this game.

Mifune Sake was already in the game he logged on when it started at 1 pm he logged in with is beta account Red sake. ((going by the real knowledge of SAO I don't know if its different in this one)) Red sake smiled "It's been too long this one wonders if this one kept his stats this one forgot to look" he said to himself remembering his time as a beta tester as he looked at his stats and skills. "No way this one even kept Battoujutsu and this one's level!" Red sake was shocked by this he thought it would have been reset he began to smile "ah level 15, time to level up a bit this one only need to kill one monster to do that well most likely" Red sake said as he started walking towards a good farming zone he remembers during his beta day's to see if it was still there. (( if anyone is wondering why I am saying this one its part of my characters personality))

As Red sake was walking down markets path he ended up falling over due to his clownish personality involving feigned clumsiness so this was a common occurrence to him so he just stood up and acted like nothing happened. He continued down the path until he reacted the exit of the Town of Beginnings 'time to leave the safe zone' he thought to himself exiting the safe zone. He headed to his usual farming spot which he used during the beta and saw it was mostly empty of plays but a lot of monsters "this one sees it's still as empty as ever" he said upset that he forgot to tell others about this spot. He spent the next few hours leveling. His first fight started with him going to attack but falling over and losing half his Health points due to a boar attacking him from behind at the same time. He got back to his feet and put his hand of his blade and held his sheath he ran towards the boar and with a simple slash though the center of it killing it this gained him a level up. Congratulations! The holographic window popped up announcing his victory and showing her how much EXP and Col he received as well as his level up. He decided to stop farming at level 19 for a bit and as soon as he did an alert message showed up.

"Please report to the Town of Beginnings. I repeat, please report to the Town of Beginnings." The alert said he checked his menu deciding that he would rather log off that listen to it. The holographic menu popped up, showing him username, a picture of a his body with all the things he was equipped with right now and where, along with his level; 19 but they was no log off button. He laughed "Smart not let people log off during the opening erm cutscene this one guesses well it seems optional so this one will wait and see what happens" Red sake said sitting down and looking at the sky.

The Overlord stops his charge and sees fertile grounds, smiling he walks over but then sees Red Sake. CGO knew he needed to increase his skills further, so he hide, and kept on staring at him and the area around him, he went on doing this for a few minutes, sharpening his eye sight and his ears, listening and seeing. Then he remembered the alert, and began to run again to the town. He frowned saying "Why does this game hate me?" when he then opened the back of his jet sword, and started to accelerate forward like a jet.

Tired eyes stared at an energy drink, located among a massive amount of other brands which made other, sugary drinks. Yeah, it was a horrifying addiction, but Jayce didn't usually partake. The thing was, he happened to be a gamer. The young man hated sleeping, but he always happened to be tired. Hopefully, drinking one of these would wake him up. He opened the fridge door and grasped it, walking from the corner of the convenience store to the cash register. Jayce removed the wallet from the back of his jeans, and chocked up the two dollars and seventy five cents it cost. He put the small leathery money holder back into the pocket it was originally stored in, retrieving his car keys in the process. Walking out of the double glass doors leading into the lovely mom-and-pop establishment, he would stop to look around before he got into his bucket and drove home.

The twenty-two year old man's apartment complex was located on the same central parkway as the convenience store he had just previously graced his presence with. Unfortunately, the road happened to be littered with incompetent drivers at the current hour he had been driving down it. Driving in the far left lane, one would think it's the fastest way to get home. Nope, people were apparently driving the slowest in that lane. The middle was going slow, but not as slow as the left lane. The right was littered with trucks, so it might as well have not even existed. One particular driver had gotten on Jayce's nerves, though. Without their blinker, they tried to merge into the left lane, almost crashing into a car. It missed, but swerved back into the middle lane. Then, it suddenly stopped. Jayce had to hit his brakes, as he had been barely paying attention. As a result, the abrupt stop of his vehicle caused his chest to slam into the top of the steering wheel. He cursed like there was no tomorrow, angrily yelling at the top of his lungs about how the mother of the person in front of him should burn in a terrible fire as she was dying of lung cancer.

When Jayce finally made it home, he opened the door to his apartment with his keys in one hand, and his drink in another, locking the large piece of wood that seperated his apartment from the world, behind him. The initial walkway led to the kitchen; to the right of that was a small hallway, that led to his room and the bathroom. Immediately passed the hallway was his living room. It had a couch and a tv, along with a coffee table in the middle but it was pretty bare. Jayce walked to his bedroom. It was decently sized, with one corner taken up by a dual moniters and a large L-shaped desk. His bed was on the opposite wall. In between, was a window. Opposite of the window, a closet. Who cares, really?

He sat at his comfortable chair, picking up the bluetooth headphones from the desk after he placed his drink down. Obviously, it was connected to the computer. He put on some music, before his hands ran to one of the cabinets belonging to his desk. Jayce opened it, reaching his hand inside removing a bag of sticky green plant manner, otherwise known as marijuana. Alongside it, a cigar, which he would open vertically. He dumped the tobacco inside, into a bag before throwing it out. Ultimately, he replaced it with the ganja, and rolled it up with his fingers. He brought flame to the end, and began smoking. In the meanwhile, he would begin to set up the Sword Art Online, something he heard of from a friend who was just as big into MMO's as he was. The nerve gear, he was able to order online; something he was happy to do, considering how he hated having to go anywhere outside unless it was completely necessary.

He synced his nerve gear with the game, and ran the updates, occasionally ashing the blunt and exhaling large amounts of smoke he previously inhaled. When the game was ready to launch, Jayce put the headset and launched the game, after making sure to lie down on his bed after putting out the burning cherry of his smoking apparatus.

"Link start."

The game would start, immediately launching him into the familiar town which was the starting city. He was absolutely thrilled at all the options that he was able to use in order to set his appearance and clothing, which was certainly different from how he looked in real life. Jayce had slightly shorter hair of a completely different color, his blue eyes had changed in shade. He was a slight bit taller, but ultimately his body maintained the same build. The wind whipped around that medium-length hair of his, along with the cloak that he wore, his arms raising up to cross over his chest.

Drumming his fingers at his desk, Ryuzaki had been waiting awhile to put on his nerve gear. He hadn't understood why; but he was scared. Possibly because he was entering a new realm? An open, vast world full of new possibilities? How could that make him scared? He had no idea. Maybe it was just nerves on meeting new people. As, yes, that was probably it. He seemed to ask himself a lot of questions about the nerve gear. It was a sleek purple-ish blue that covered his whole head like a helmet. It's bulky design wasn't surprising, it being the first to bring you in a virtual world, but maybe they could of made it a bit more... compact. Ryu scoffed at himself, did he really procrastinate so much to end up procrastinating his time on playing the virtual world of SAO?

He did surprise himself sometimes. He said to himself a hour or so that he would out on the device after his parents fell asleep, but he had still not put it on yet. He just had to move a couple of steps, that was it. Then move his arms un an upwards motion then down again to put on the nerve gear. Yeah, that was it. Walk a couple more steps to his bed, plug int he damn things, and lay on his bed. All he had left to do was say 'link start'.
But he didn't. Gosh, was his laziness overwhelming. It only took a couple of steps to do so. But he didn't want to. He thought about just ditching the nerve gear and playing one of his usual online MMORPGs because his computer was right in front of him. And because the nerve gear was too damn far.

"Guh," Ryuzaki swallowed, giving up on himself. He swung his legs to the side, making his computer chair swing with him and letting Ryu face the nerve gear, "if you're not gonna do it now, you're not gonna do it ever." Leaning forward, he lazily pushed himself off the chair and staggered towards the nerve gear, clumsily putting it on his messy hair. He then staggered over to his bed, like a zombie, and knelt down to plug the gear in. He didn't notice his breathing became harder and faster before he sat down and gently laid down on the bed. He wasn't scared anymore, he was damn excited, and he was going to enjoy the realm of SAO.

"Link start."

The swirl of colours demonstrating him transporting into the game made him jittery with excitement. Also a bit nervous because he couldn't move at all for a couple of seconds. He didn't realise he wasn't lying down anymore until he found a gust of wind hitting his face. He was in the starting town; the rest of the new players, busy chatting already. A small smile entered his face as he began to stride around the town, in long, but rather relaxed steps. He had to take in all the sights before he started to level. "Please report to town of beginnings." Damn.

Gus enters the area, looking like a dark shadow knight, I march casually through the crowd to a decent open spot, and simply stand there, looking to the blood red flashing sign. My curved talons tap against my dark metallic form, and i slide my hand to the menu, and open the options menu, and turn out of my training mode, increasing volume and graphics from low and 25% back to Very high and 100%. I grab my head and take a knee fore a few seconds as my ears adapt, the over whelming energy of the crowd wasn't.... expected. Gus said to himself "You know what... I will just train in making stuff and killing stuff... that works!" He slowly raised from his angered hurt form, and looked again to the main mark, waiting for the Lord above Lords.

The purr of the engine died down as Ayano pulled the sportsbike into her expansive garage. Around her the lights blinked on with severals short metallic clinks, lighting her way while she made toward the garage door, where an elderly manservant waited patiently to take her coat.

"How are the shares looking, ma'am?" He asked respectfully, taking her jacket in hand and following after her. Ayano continued on into the house, pressing the glass computer console walls at timed intervals, sending commands to the main monitor room for when she arrived. "As well as expected. S.A.O is a raving success. Sold out in less than ten minutes worldwide." The old man allowed himself a knowing chuckle. "Your judgement is flawless, as always ma'am. Shal I arrange for dinner?"

Ayanos expression never changed from the bored, somber flatness that seemed permanent upon her otherwise lovely face. But the manservant knew that little hitch in her voice when she next spoke.

"No. I wish to test run my copy of the game, as always. If there is a malfunction, my computers will handle my safety and alert the authorities to check for any similar malfunctions at the designated residencies."

"Very good, ma'am. " the manservant bowed and closed the door after his employer. He always worried about these newfangled games. For his mistress to allow herself to go under the influence of these ...nerve thingies...well...her mind was too precious to loose...if her gear should malfunction...

He smiled to himself and shook his head. He worried too much. And this was precisely why his mistress did such things. She knew the dangers involved in her work, and made sure nothing untoward happened to the general public.

She chalked it up to being bored, but he knew better. Madam Ayano truely cared.

Ayanos fingers flew over the keyboard as she set up the alarm and monitoring systems for her test run.

Vital signs. On.

Brain activity. On.

Radiation levels. On.

Emergency precautions. On.

Panic alarm. On.

She was ready. The monitors receeded back a ways and the keyboard sank into the floor as she placed the nervgear over her head and leaned back in her chair, restraints and monitors in place.

And with a deep breath she spoke the two words that would forever change her life.

"Link start."

¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥

The entire staff sat together in the living quarters, somber and downtrodden. The alarms had gone off the moment the mistress had gone under, and was now under the protective watch of her beloved computers, and the medics team that had arrived no less than 20 minutes later. The authorities were informed of the current situation, and promptly alerted the media of the situation. Unfortunately, it had not been in time to save everyone...

¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥¥

Musashi, as Ayano thought of herself in this game, was very satisfied. No, more than that, she felt as if a weight had been lifted from her shoulders.

This...could be a good thing. She thought as she rushed at a dire wolf, slicing clean through it in a shower of red pixels.

Her monitor popped up, informing her of the boons reaped from her kill.

And there it was, the source of her less than troubled mind. Or rather, there ispt wasnt.

No log out option. In less than a second she had ruled out bugs, glitches and even event precautions. No. This was intentional. No event was so important to risk being sued for "virtual imprisonment", and this game had been beta tested. No . Bugs and glitches this glaringly obvious would have never made it through.

"Please report to the town of beginnings."

Musashi smirked, and as she made her way towards the inevitable future, for the first time in her life...

She felt excited.

Dante walked into his apartment. It was late around 1:30am and sat down with a big bag. He opened it and pulled out a Chinese dinner and a monster. After an hour of eating and watching a tv review about SAO. He smiled. "Alright Dante time to log on for the grand opening." He got up and walked into his room. Dante sat down and downed his monster. He sighed some and put on his nerve gear helmet.

"Please state your name" the voice commanded. "Dante Masoumune" he stated loud and clear so the voice recognition software could be programmed to his voice. "Please enter your username. This will appear to others players in the game." The voice spoke in monotone. "Lord of Cinder" Dante said smiling to himself about his character on another game. The helmet measured his body type and height. "Sync complete. To start game and log into your account just say link start" the voice said. Dante thought for a moment. "Okay let's do this. Link start!" He shouted as he got logged into his avatar his body fell onto the bed. Dante looked around the game. "Woah!" He said with amazement. "This is so freaking cool!!" He looked up and saw the name of the area. Town of beginnings. Before he could even get his bearings the sky turned red with warning signs. "Report to center" a voice called out. Dante watched as thousands of player walked along. He followed the crowd. He stood there looking around 'kay this is weird' he thought. Then someone screamed loud. "There's no log out!!" Everyone went crazy frantically trying to log out. Dante just opened his menu. Level: 1 Exp: 0 they were right no log out.

Primo had not put in five minutes in the game before it was sprung into some sort of hectic chaos; having logged in and immediately started off in the Town of Beginnings, Primo had not been sheltered by a lack of players to dampen the effect of such a travesty. Irregardless, he hadn't let the all-too distraught populous of Sword Art Online players affect him - it wasn't like the strong to be affected by the weak in such ways, be it psychological or not.

Opening up his status menu to see it for himself, Primo hadn't found himself shocked at the fact that the log out option within the menu was dimmed out.

No, there was no reason to be shocked. No time. Within the depths of the apparently endless-sea of players within the Town of Beginnings, a very clear few stood out to him. Of course, those whom were made of solid foundations were ready to get moving immediately.

Inevitably, something would have to explain the problem that came with the option to log out being inaccessible. Whether it would be something or someone from out of the game or within it, by use of accessive play, eventually someone would come to find the answer to the rather sudden, unforseeable issue.

Though he had been standing around for quite a bit of time, his lack of movement would eventually get the better of him. Deciding it was useless to continue to do nothing, Primo's feet would turn to leave the center of the town. As he neared the border and attempted to cross onto the plains, an unseeable force restricted his movements. At first, it sent his body a small shock to let him know that he wasn't supposed to pass, causing Primo to stop dead in his tracks.

Figuring it was a glitch, though, he would continue forward without much worry. That was when the boundaries that were put around the exists began to physically push people back.

On the opposite side of this newfound, lovely feature, found Primo's body ricocheting back a couple of feet, causing his form to roll a few times before his back slammed into a brick wall.

Letting out a huff of air and hanging his head down, his eyes would look down to the clothing which adorned his person; they were the same as before, but the frame that filled them out was not. Primo's skin was less tan than he had created his avatar's to be, and his fingers were shorter.
Recognizing the hands as his own from the real world, the young man would quickly and easily come to the realization that the avatar which he created specifically for the game had been taken from him and replaced accordingly.

Was he really reverted back into his real life self? Believing that it could be a possibility, Primo would slowly lift himself off of the ground and onto his feet. He needed to find a mirror. This was when he heard a voice escape the lips from some sort of source which had not yet made itself visible. At the sound of the natural cadence, Primo would lift his eyes toward the direction of where it came, which happened to be the sky.

"Attention..."

Hitochi didn't exactly know how to get around. Like any other non-beta tester, he didn't exactly understand the fundamentals of the town. Or the game, for that matter. Basic moving was... more than simple. No pushing buttons, no figuring out fighting combos. He liked it that way; the tedious part of most online MMORPGs over and done with. For opening his inventory, he would lazily swing his left arm upwards and a ringing would sound, followed by his inventory appearing. His inventory didn't consist of much; a basic cloak, a black with gold lining, matching his hair. A sword, which he immediately figured to name Kasai, meaning fire in Japanese.

Out of curiosity; he tapped the mid-air inventory to open the tab where his log out button was meant to be.
"Huh? It's not there..." Hitochi mumbled to himself, suddenly worrying immensely. It was probably just a major bug; one that needed to be fixed completely, considering the players' human bodies could not remove the nerve gear themselves.

"Attention - all players..." "That's right!" Hitochi interrupted the voice, running to the direction of the big arena. If anywhere else; that's where the huge meeting with all the players, considering it was probably the online place where it could fit all the players. He wasn't one to run a lot, it was usually big, long, lazy strides he had been doing a minute or so ago. He gripped the sword he had equipped, it was hanging onto his back, bouncing and hitting his back repeatedly while he was running. Putting his hand back and grabbing his sword was a lazy excuse to stop making it bounce, but it was pretty useless.

As he approached the entrance of the Arena, he sucked in long, heavy breaths. Hitochi didn't realise that the run would be so long.

"Attention - all players..." Hitochi grunted in annoyance and looked up to the sky, or, at least where he thought the voice was. "Yeah, yeah. I'm here. Calm down."

Theres not enough people. That was the first thing musashi noticed as the sky interface went red with the elongated elert octagons. She was glad she had chosen to perch up here, on the head of the statuesque wall ornament on the edge of the square. It was easier to do a rough estimate when counting tile by tile. With aproximately five humans per tile and exactly two thousand tiles making up the square floor. And subtracting one person for each completely empty tile to allow for crowd compaction and dilution, that meant...

Around two to three hundred people werent here, and would not be comming.

This meant one of two things, and she was sure that this budding announcement would clear that up.

Were they killed in the game? Or in the outside world?

Most likely both.

Musashi lifted the mouth peice of her kiresu to her lips and inhaled slowly as a cloked figure appeared and began spreading panic below her with every word.

"...Kayaba, you clever bastard." She allowed herself a cruel, ironic chuckle. Kayaba had been her upperclassman at the university some time ago, and later a business partner. She had always wondered why a twisted little f*** like him had been interested in gaming instead of out in the world creating some self central cult. He made Alester Crowley look sane.

And now, here she was, trapped in his prison. A lovely one at that, but a prison nonetheless.

Never was she so glad that she had set up her gaming labratory. Musashi had rigged the entire place specifically for emergencies like this. Every day, her muscles would be stimulated with micro electric therapy, to prevent atrophy, and her personal practicioner would make sure she received proper nutrients. She felt gwntuinely sorry for her...more affectionate staff members, they would be devastated. But she hoped they did not dwell on such things.

This game was designed to take years to beat...

Dante looked around as people were changing into what he figured to be their real selves. Men becoming children. Women becoming ugly men. Dante changed into his tall skinny self. 'Well that's new' he thought to himself. He shrugged it off as part of the game. Still slightly unnerved by the slight detail that there was no log out and the fact of the 300 to 500 players that weren't in the town center. Did they get killed already? Was it only in the game or in the real world too? Questions answered by the game master himself. "Die in the game, you die in real life." The voice rang out driving several people to shriek as loud as the could. Small children crying for their mothers. Dante didn't have the time to be scared. He was alone anyway. But he did have obligations. And people that would notice that he was gone. His master for one. Opening the menu Dante selected his starting weapon and armor set. He looked at his spear smiling. "Why hello Orienstine." He spoke aloud. Dante turned to face the border. "Alright when the wall goes down I make a break for a farming spot. Grind a few levels and then make my way to the next town. Upgrade a bit and grind more." Dante played tones of RPGs so he had a handle on things little ways to get stronger faster.

Gus finally had enough of this wining, he stepped forward, he was one of the few who barely changed at all. His black armor sparkled, now fitting even better, and Gus still stood like a tyrant, calm, tall, and proud. He then shouted to the horde of people around him, "So did all of you hear him? We have a responsibility here... we have a responsibility to return to our family... Do you all hear me?" His calm voice was amplifying after every word, tell he was herd by the entire crowd, "Tonight we came to enjoy ourselves, and now its become our nightmare... is that what it is? We only live once... now that is in this life instead of just our other! Embrace it, be thankful! You can stand behind, be cowards like we are in the real world... or for once we now have the ability to be heroes... people who will fight off those monsters... I am here before you to say this in short... I don't care what you do, but terror will only make you die faster! You can either settle down, have a life, where you will only be expected to live less then 10 years... or will you come forth and help people actually conquer this damn land and get the the honor of saving those who were brave enough to life?" He used his sword to jump to top of a building, and continued "Will we be heroes? This is the weight our armies and military have on their back, they could come back as heroes for their people, or die horribly... or both. Are we going to let our human nature beat us, this game, or are we going to defeat BOTH? We finally have the power and skill to make a difference! The old and the young can both fight like they were gods if they have the skill! The man with broken arms can now by himself take down an ARMY if he has the will and the skill! Another reason i am here my friends, is to show you this. This is what we need... will and skill. Now we finally have the tools to do so. We can be gods of war, protectors of the friends and the home! We can be so much... but if you are more embraced by your terror and fear... let your own lives run out. Now if you excuse me... I will be the person i always WANTED to be..." He took off his helm, looking at the crowd, he didn't care what effect he had... he has done what he always wanted to... lead. He wanted this, the feeling was pleasant, he realizes the responsibility of death, but he only wants to lead through moral, not through death. He placed on his helm, and headed off into the wilderness, towards the floor boss, his progress was erased level wise, but everywhere else... no sir.

(Edit:) Gus marched forward, his boots crunching the grass under him, and he lifted up his sword. He slashed a group of 3 minions, obliterating them instantly from his level difference. He twirled the blade, and saw a woman, to which he smiled. "Trying to get ahead of all of them are you?" He said to the air, not expecting her to hear. He sheathed his blade, and turned on his passive mode, Jet burst. Every 6 seconds the sword fired, and he gained a boost of speed, until he stood next to the girl heading to the next town. He slowed the intervals, since he was larger then most he was slower then her, but the boosts equaled them out. "Your zooming ahead of everyone, like you expected this... or else your just brave. Try not to get stuck at one of the creep spawns..." He zoomed forward on his blade, changing the speed of the blasts so he could out speed and outpace most.

When the mirrors were pulled out, musashi watched as each of those below became thier true selves. How fascinating. Using the sensory connections from the human brain to acurately assess the wearer of the nerve gear helmet. She obligingly took her own out of the inventory, and watcjed fascinated as she took on her own appearence in an explosion of white pixels.

Not too long after she heard one of the playera shouting far above the rest. Lifting his own spirit with an impassioned speech of duty and honor.

Good for him. She thought as she slid down the stone gown of the statue. Not giving into the terror that most had succumbed to, we that took strength of character.

But he was really of no consiquence to musashi at the moment. Merely seconds after the barrier lifted she was down three streets, and sprinting towards the next town. She intended to pass it, and move on to the one arter. She wanted a challenge, but something she could still handle. And that would be the best way to level up and clear the floor as quickly as possible. That would give her the time and skills needed to assist whomever needed it.

Heh, shed always wanted to be a vigilante. Now was her chance

Haru/Arabella~

This glitch. It was no glitch at all. Something this obvious would have surfaced during the beginnings of the beta tests. This was a deliberate move, yet who would want to trap thousands of people in this world for.. for how long? Yet this news didn't alarm her, she stood in the midst of mayhem as hoards of distraught players screamed around her, someone shoved past her, knocking the small girl's avatar off balance and inevitably hitting another player. "I'm so sorry!" She cried, head bent in slight shame.

"Attention all players! This is not a glitch. I repeat: This is not a glitch!" A giant avatar clothed in red robes addressed the crowd, momentarily causing the crowd to silence. The sky flashed red. "You will now be trapped in this game, until someone clears it. To clear the game, you must pass all one hundred levels and beat the final boss. If you die in this game, you will be killed in the real world as well. " Hysterical screams sounded from the crowd as the creator of the game, Akihiko Kayaba, apprised the fact that there were one hundred levels. Then, as soon as the man came, he perished, making the already rioting crowd go overwrought. Some went insane, others turned on each other.

"But that's impossible!" Someone screamed, voicing out almost everyone's thoughts.

Mifune Sake/ Red Sake

When Red Sake was teleported to the town of beginning he imminently thought 'so this was important like acutscene to start off the game seems i was right then' but the teleport still took him enough off guard that he ended up falling face first into the ground well it would have been had he not a player fallen into a players back. He gazed up to see what the players ID said it was a small girl with the ID Haru "Sorry Haru-dono" he said remembering the name from his beta days.

Before anything else was said the giant avatar clothed in red robes began addressed the crowd "Attention all players! This is not a glitch. I repeat: This is not a glitch! You will now be trapped in this game, until someone clears it. To clear the game, you must pass all one hundred levels and beat the final boss. If you die in this game, you will be killed in the real world as well. " . most people panicked well Red Sake just let out a little smile 'this is what I have been waiting for' he thought to himself.

All of a sudden most voice went silent when someone shouted "But that's impossible!." Red sake took this chance to see if this Haru was the same from the beta "Hura-dono you were a beta tester if this one is correct" Red sake asked with his usual strange way of talking and with a smile on his face.

People were freaking out. Big plans had been enfolded upon their very eyes, and as a result, people were freaking out. Moving his attention from the sky down to the flocks of people moving about the town, Primo made a conscious decision to keep calm. There were a small population of players within the entire populous of Sword Art Online that were elite. These players were not falling to their knees, rather they would begin to plan immediately. Not one to be a part of large parties or guilds, Primo would go about his business as usual; as a solo player, or one who teams up with the small amount who he felt were qualified enough to have his back.

Despite the issues and the current state of emergency at hand, no one had tried leaving the Town of Beginnings at all. That was when the rioting began. In order to avoid the oncoming problematic issues, Primo sprang into action by first running toward the outskirts of the town. As he neared the exit, he came upon two men with rapiers - causing him to come to a rather quick halt. Looking between the both of them, his eyebrows would cringe. Anger written upon his face, he angrily yelled at the two.

"Outta my way!"

With no verbal answer, the two began to attack. Activating his parry, this stopped both rapiers from piercing his avatar for all of his HP. Immediately upon activation, he used sprint to dart past the two men and stop behind them. When he ripped the katana from it's sheath, pixels from the back of both men's torsos would explode into the air, causing them to disintegrate.

Without another word or expression to bare, Primo turned and continued running toward a group of pigs. He had to level up and become stronger, grind as much as possible. There was one thing for sure, and that was the fact that he couldn't dwell on the two mens lives that he unreluctantly took to keep his own.

Gus smiles as he hears a scream of death, and says "That came from the town.. their not dead yet." He kept on pushing on his speed advantage, heading straight for the town Tolbana, but then detoured at about 2 minutes away from the town to some of the higher leveled creeps. Gus was easily chopping them down, but they were practice with his Chaos Storm none the less. He taunted the poor beasts and gathered a small group, and calculated he would have enough for a Chaos Storm E. Abruptly he tosses his sword into the head of a dire wolf, obliterating it into pixel dust, grabbed the blade, twirled into the next wolf, chucked his sword into the air while palming the side of a wolf's head, and then rapidly palmed, kicked and slashed at near by wolves until he hit a combo of 30. Gus's hands abruptly blazed, his armor grew new design, and he said "Chaos... Storm... E..." He flew forward, ripping through the last of the wolves with ease, and then walked into the den of the wolves. He needed material, so scavenged around for some ingot, or any stones so that when he went to the town he could purify it. The few wounds he had were healing, he had leveled up his healing skill somewhat, he couldn't level it up until floor 8 most likely...

__Denizen Mayorako__

Denizen waited gingerly for the clock in his room to hit the certain number. It meant that his parents would not be around to force him to sign papers or make wedding arrangements. Gosh, it's like waiting for the world to end! He was getting restless for there was nothing he liked more than the world of Sword Art Online. It was the only place he could really escape the world around him and enter this new identity in a world that was much crazier and alive than the one he was forced to remain. Lost in his thoughts for the moment, he instantly snapped back the moment his clock ticked away at the number he so desperately craved. Laying back, he grabbed the helmet from underneath and settled it on his head. "Link start!" He exclaimed with every ounce of excitement he could bare.

As he entered the game, he awoke in the marketplace where he was last. When starting any game, he always felt he should be prepared for whatever the game is going to throw at him. Luckily for him, he was a wiz at games since he barely had much else to do around his house. He quickly found all the cheap places and many little sides that could get him enough money to last him for awhile. He first started the game the night before in preparation for the start of the journey. As he took himself out of the inn in the marketplace, he looked at the slide down menu to look at his Col when he noticed the missing log out button. That's weird..It must be a bug! Denizen was rather excited about bugs and glitches since it was something he knew about and the idea of them made him think about the imperfections that are bound to be created in life. It didn't occur to him that this would have been the start of something much more worse than it appeared. It might of occurred to him if the message to "Immediately Go to Town of Beginnings" didn't seem like a solution to help the problem. His nature wouldn't let him believe the events that would happen next.

As he got there, the sky had eerie modification to it that didn't sit well with Denizen.
"Why is this place so creepy looking?" He asked a person he didn't know next to him who replied in the same confused and withered tone he had questioned in. That is when the creator, Akihiko Kayaba, spelled their fate. He looked into the mirror and quickly found his natural appearance within the mirror. His eyes narrowed and immediately dropped the mirror figuring when they had exactly copied him into the system with the nervegear. Why does this always happen? Why is everything always ruined? He silently looked around at the quiet crowd until someone began the riot that took over the area. The moment he was targeted, Denizen entered the state of mind he would when he would perform. He was not dying that day and was surly not going to allow a game too. Skillfully maneuvering around people and weapons, he find his way out of the large riot where he knew would lay a number of people who simply wanted to escape the real world. On the edge of town, he forced himself to forget the atrocity in life's game behind him and sought for the next town. "I'm so sorry." He whispered to nothing.

Dante smirked at the guy in black armor ranting and raving about duty and honor. "That's all well and good but this won't be easy." He spoke to himself. The boundary walls were gone and Dante ran into the field with his spear in hand. He was stopped by a dire boar. "First kill of the night." He said in a slightly disturbing voice of happiness. Did Dante care about the dying in real life thing not really. But remembering what that guy in black said. "I do have a duty to get back. And become the strongest I can be for my mother..." He stared down the boar watching it move. Then it dashed forward. Watching its movements Dante readied his weapon, with one thrust of his spear the boar burst into fragments. CONGRATULATIONS the victory sign appeared. Dante smiled and hummed the final fantasy 7 victory theme. Dante felt stronger as he slowly gained Exp. Dante looked over to that guy in black. He walked over to the wolf den. Making sure his presence was known Dante spoke. "You're that guy that was yelling from the roof top right?" He asked in a friendly manor. "That was amazing. The whole we can be what we finally dreamed about thing was really great." He complemented. Dante wasn't sure if he was friend or foe at this point but it's best to make friends now instead of going it alone. "The names Dante Lord of Cinder." He pointed to himself. "Anyway I was just wondering if you wanted to party up you know split what ever kills we get. I have my smithing level up a bit. I can repair what ever you need." He said offering up his skills at a sort of payment.

Gus's eye looked to Dante, and then to his menu, where he swiped and accepted the party invite, and where Dante sees his level. Gus has the title "Beta Tester", and is level 21. He raised his black armored form, his face becoming exposed and said "I am here as a black smith you know... where do you think i got this armor from?" He walked forward, placed a hand on Dante's shoulder and said "I am Gus... Here i am known as the Chaos Overlord. If you want to get your payment, you gotta earn it... alright?" He walked out of the edge of the cave, stood there looking into the sky, waiting for an answer.

Dante smiled some. "Alright guess I need to change how I can help you. Tell you what ill be the healer. I mean I can level up my medical stats. Judging by the way you're healing I can tell you don't have that skill up just yet." Dante walked up to Gus. "How's that?" He asked. "All I'm trying to do is survive but I'm not using you to do it. Just because you're a beta doesn't mean I'm going to rely on your high level. I'm offering my skills to cover the ones you don't have up so you can cover the skills I don't have. Sound like a good system. I scratch your back you scratch mine?" He looked Gus in the eye showing him that he meant business. "What do you say deal?" He asked holding out his hand.

"Haiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeee!" Musashis blade slices through the giant insect and explodes into a pixel mist as her weapon fades from glowing blue to metallic grey. So far her level has risen as far as it can before the road beyond the second town up, as all the higher level monsters have been defeated.

With a quick scroll through my inventory she decide to go purchase a small cooking set for the road. She had a nice haul of meat and the rest could be cooked easily at her level.

A quick sprint towards the main road had her slicing through whatever boars, rabits and such that wandered within range of her sword. No point in passing up additions to her sellable goods. She may even be able to craft a decent sleeping bag from the rabits fur.

That's when she saw it. A massive boar, must have been twice the size of a human was charging towards what looked like two players fenagling in the middle of the field. Didnt they see it?!

Musashi smirked and placed a hand at he hilt of her katana, and broke into a sprint, headning right for the two males. If she timed this right, not only could she prevent them bein run over, but shed manage to bag that beast before they even knew theyd been its target.

100 ft...60 ft... 20ft... she recognised one of them as the player who gave that empassioned speech. Hmph. She wished him luck.

"Keeeeyaiiiiiii!" Musashi leapt into he air only 10 feet away and dove, her blade cleaving through the massive beast like butter.
