Fantasy Super-Delinquents

Shadow Stalker

Aka Joe Dalia Jones

The light user had blinded him, he could feel himself cut off from any other shadows besides the ones already surrounding him. His sword was so easily deflected and rightfully so, he lacked the skills of proper swordsmen ship. He had always focused om brute force rather tuan skill. As he opened his eyes, he saw copies of the hero surronding him, his large shadow form slowly being melted away by waves of light. His only choice was to pull in all the loose strands of shadows in around him, making a solid demonic looking suite of shadows. He pulled in the large form and settled for a more streamline, faster form.

He was silent as he stood there, his shadows now in a solid state. He looked at the hero, a smile creeping across his face. He looked up jist in time to see a female form, this was his chance to escape and plan for his next attack. He dodged the girls fist and used the force of the impact to jump high into the. The copies of the gilded knight just stood there like mindless dolls, must of been a scare tactic?

He was now high in the air, useing the shadows around him to make a lonf claw hand grab the nearest building.
"Till we meet agian, i will end your sorry lives!" He swung away into an ally way. He rounded a corner and disappeared from view. He dropped his shadow form and rejoined the people on the street a block over. He would lay low for a bit, he needed to figure out a way to get the advantage.

The Gilded Knight

The Gilded Knight had the man surrounded, his light covering every place possible, burning away any shadows he could use. He knew that victory was near, the shadowed man was forced to compact himself, shrinking down to a smaller form in order to slow the rate of burn. The Gilded Knight would when, and he would make this man pay for the suffering he had caused. To murder indiscriminately with no reason, he must be put away where he would never see the outside again. He tensed up and was about to attack when he heard a yell come from above. "Coming atcha, Cleopatra? What the...." That was all he got out before seeing the murderer leap away as a teenage girl slammed into the ground in front of him. Everything was chaos. The ground shook and caved where she landed, causing a deep crater to form. Many of his decoys dispersed as sections of concrete flew into them. Far away, he could see manholes fly towards the sky.

He braced himself and used his sword the keep himself from falling from the force of the shock. Steadying himself, he watched as a shadow ducked away into the distance. He couldn't believe what had just happened. Turning to the young woman who had literally crashed the fight as she talked. He placed a hand on hid head and breathed out loudly before standing up straight. "Ok, you want to make a name for yourself, that's fine. I honestly don't mind. But from now on don't smash into the ground at terminal velocity." He turned to where he had last seen the villain. "If you want to help, you can help me chase after this guy and apprehend him before he goes on another murder spree." Without waiting for an answer, he ran off in the direction that the villain had taken.

Heroes seemed to get stronger by the day, this light user got the better of him this time. He was weak now, hia body hurt from the burning away of his shadow form. In tjat state he was made of shadows, he could move alomg walls, he could blend in with any depth of shadows. He was unsure the full extent of his powers other than what he had so far been able to do. He did however know that when night feel, he would be king of the streets. His power would be unmatched i. The depth of night, he could use his other forms with ease.

Joe cracked his neck as he he rounded another corner. Sewage was still raining down off the side of buildings from the females attack. He avoided a hunk of shit as it fell from the horn of a gargoyle. It made a loud "plop" as it hit the sidewalk. He needed to make his own team of villains, he force of evil greater than anything seen since the Nazi regime. He had some thoughts but it would be better if he did things on his own at the moment. He had no one he could trust.

His next target was the power plant, he was going to take out the power in order to ,ake the city pitch black tonight. The shadow of the earth would be his power, he would drown that dame hero in true darkness and snuff out his light, like he did so many others.

Kay "Malice²" Cross

img-thing

The dark villain, despite having literally no shadows whatsoever around him to cling to, being blinded and - as far as she could tell - having no superhuman reflexes, still managed to dodge her terminal velocity strike from above. That was a huge inconvenience, as the aftershock and his resulting escape made her first impression pretty bad on the first superhero she encountered... but apparently the knight did not appear to mind all that much, he instead eagerly gave her a task to fulfill. In her mind, Kay saw this as the perfect opportunity to redeem herself after this screw up.

"
Got it!" She blurted, and with no further notice, she ran her hands through her hair, causing a cloud of small black strands from it to flutter away in all directions. This was what it would seem like to someone with no supernatural awareness. In truth, she'd just scattered several thousand flying "hairs" which mutated progressively into infinitely small longitudinal spy drones that flew through the city in just as many directions. Meanwhile, her real body followed after the knight, her leg muscles having their springiness enhanced through the same type of neoplasmic mutation in order to allow her to keep up with him. After all, she had no way of knowing whether he had some kind of super speed or not.

In the Dark Salker's defense, she had
almost missed him, and would have if it weren't for two very obvious things; the first was that when you're looking for a shadow villain, the first place you should look at is dark spots. The second is that... well, unless they're being given off by something which itself moves... shadows do not move autonomously. "I found him. three streets ahead, four blocks to the right! By a building with decorative gargoyles. Think it's a church, not sure." She uttered, and quickly bounded forward in her chase after the shadow user. "If I catch him before the knight I am going to EAT him for making me look bad!!!" She thought in a way that was far too literal for most people's sensibilities.

Roan

When a bloodsoaked man went careening off towards the orphanage, it sent alarm bells ringing in Roan's head.

"Stay here," he told his young charge who dutifully nodded. Limiting Hyde's capability of interacting with the world to sight and hearing allowed him to check out the scene where the bloody man came from, albeit indirectly.

Apparently, telling the girl to stay put was the right thing to do as he didn't believe that the already traumatized girl needed to see a cooling corpse right outside the orphanage.. Standing on top of the corpse was a woman, who might have been beautiful or not. Her outer appearance didn't matter to Roan, not when she was standing over a dead body.

"I left him with the children!"

That single sentence sent Roan scrambling into action, sprinting off in the direction of the orphanage. It'll be a cold day in hell before he let a psychopathic murderer get his clammy hands on innocent children.

The Gilded Knight

A single thought went through Roland's mind. One thought that reverberated, echoing so as he understood the full weight of it. The monsterous man, the person who had slaughter a dozen innocents for know reason, was by a church with gargoyles. The same church that was next to the orphanage he called home. The one with his family.

Whatever tiredness he had left him as his heart started thumping, his adrenaline pumping. Everything became crystal clear and time seemed to slow down. He had to get there quick. Faster than he could possibly run. He didn't have time to run to the top of a building and glide off, no, he needed something now.

Reaching down and touching the ground, he closed his eyes in concentration, sculpting with his mind what he needed. At first, it started as a simple block that grew beneath him, but he continued to carve it with his mind. The top part he sliced so as to create two sections. He molded and hinge on one side, connecting the two blocks. Lastly, he imagined a spring, condensed to the point that it could fling a grown man eighty feet into the air. It was done, and with a quick thought to release it, the makeshift catapult flung him high into the sky.

Forming the glider on his back, he flew as quickly as he could to the church, almost completely forgetting about the young woman he had left behind. Looking down as he flew, he saw a young boy already dead and covered with blood, a young woman, Lialah, screaming about having let him near the children. If Roland had been determined before, he was ten times so now. The man had already killed again and was headed towards his family.

Swooping down, he landed between the orphanage and the church. Between the crazed psychopath and his family. His emotions were at a fever pitch, his armor shining even brighter than before, a hint of red in the light. He would not let this man pass, even if he had to kill him. No one messed with his family. No one.

He formed his sword, not even bothering with his shield. He would end this now. He raised his sword and swung with great speed and accuracy at the scum's torso.

Lailah 'Aero' Maret Falak

137682178.jpg

The body, the blood, everything around Lailah seemed to freeze as realization dawned upon her, the fact that she had left a killer inside of an orphanage sickened her. 'What kind of hero am I? How could I be so irrational!' she scolded herself. She looked up, meeting the gaze of what looked to be Lizard-Boy from earlier, though her bright-eyes weren't so friendly this time. Lailah would have jumped to her feet to explain to him what was happening, why she was sitting beside a dead boy, and who she believed committed the crime, if she wasn't so angry. This wasn't a rare emotion for Lailah to feel, but she hardly every displayed it in public. Murder was no joking matter to her though, there was no amount of smiling and promises she could make to bring whoever this was back to life, she could only hope that she stopped this man from hurting himself or anyone else. A bright shape passed overhead and Lailah caught a glimpse of whom she believed to be The Gilded Knight. 'Wasn't he fighting the shadow guy? Why is he-' Lailah's stomach dropped. 'Shadow guy moved to this part of town, didn't he?' She reached into her breast pocket and pulled out the muave colored ribbons from Aero's costume. Her duffle bag containing the body of her disguise was inside the orphanage, but her ribbons and mask were two items she usually carried with her. Lailah quickly tied the ribbons around her hair and knotted a similarly colored mask around her head. Without a word to Lizard-Boy Lailah stood, uncaring of the blood smeared on her paint splattered clothes, turned on her heels and stalked out of the ally. Lailah would have charged at the man who caused that young boy so much fear and pain if she wasn't using half of her concentration to gather energy from surrounding sources, preparing a plethora of 'ammunition' for her blasts.

Her veins pulsed from under her pale skin, each a sickly yellow color. Ever since Lailah had received her powers her veins had been yellow, not the usual blue. She hid it from everyone at first but over time she began to realize that not many people paid much attention to that kind of stuff. As she rounded the corner to the ally she noticed The Gilded Knight, shining far brighter than before and holding a large sword, swinging his mighty weapon towards the killers body. Dread poured into her like a faucet and a cup, it didn't matter to her who subdued the man but no one deserved to die. She raised her hands and aimed before releasing a blast of force wide enough to hit both of them. It wasn't strong enough to do real damage, only knock them off their feet. "Don't kill him, he just needs help!"

Before he could react he was hit with a sword made of light. It cut through his body and got stuck on his spine. He screamed in pain as he fell to his knees. He may not be able to die so easy but that didn't mean this didn't hurt. He looked at the man, since he didn't know what he looked like in human form he would play the helpless victim card. "But why? I thought you where a hero?" He said as he fell of the mans blade and hit the ground. For the moment he couldn't move, his nerves would jave to rejoin before je would fully heal and thay would take about twenty minutes.

He gasped for breath, he was going to play this for all ot was worth. Blood poured out of the wound as the healing factor was slower in the light. He could feel the nevers slowly reconnect but the skin stayed opened. He started to spasm from the pain. It hurt like a hell. He let his eyes roll as he passed out.

His body was now limp, his jeart slowed to a crawl. Blood still pouring out of him was slowing as he was hurled by a blast. He flew through the sir andLanded in the street where he was run over by a city bus. His body was maggled. The police would arrive any moment as aman reported a super had killed an unarmed man.

When Asher woke up that morning, he did not expect to be in the position he was in. All he wanted to do was race around a bit, but no, he just had to get himself into some trouble. He was in a high speed chase, the police were after him and there was no way he was getting out of this without using his powers. So like the rational thinking guy he was, he took a few home-made shortcuts, which eventually shook the police off him for a while and led him around the corner of a church. Ash parked his car in the back before hopping out and crouching down.

Think, think, he whispered to himself, and as if on cue, the police came pulling up after him, seeing the car but not Asher. "Come out slowly and put your hands behind your back!" One screamed. Ash smirked in relief as his body changed. He stepped up, and gave the police a confused look. "Is there something wrong officer?" He asked, his deep voice changing into something a lot more feminine. The cop gave a worried glance, lowering his gun slowly and shooting his partners a look.

"Ma'am, did you happen to see a man running through here?" He asked, the confusion obvious in his voice. Asher nodded his head, smiling kindly at them. He pointed over at the completely opposite direction. "I saw him run that way, I was just over here working on my car." She seemed convincing enough, so the officers wasted no time in jumping back in their cars and zooming off. Asher let out a laugh before changing back and hopping in his car again, deciding to take a stroll around the block.

(Hope this isn't way off the mark. Again, I got no notifications so I don't know what's going on.)

Lailah 'Aero' Maret Falak

137682178.jpg

It was a horrific sight to behold when The Gilded Knight's sword cut through the mans flesh and lodged itself within his bone. His scream was enough to send chills down her spine and cause goosebumps to bloom across her skin. She couldn't help but feel relieved when the man's body flew away from The Gilded Knight, but she could only watch as a bus crushed him. Her jaw dropped in shock and if this was a comical situation she would have laughed at how coincidental it was. She looked back at The Gilded Knight, her masked eyes full of shock and horror. She couldn't tell herself that he didn't mean to, because he did. This Powered achieved his goal and took the life from the man that now lay strung about the street. In that moment Aero didn't feel like a hero, she felt disgusting and useless and sad. A droplet of rain fel upon her bare arm, then another and another. 'I thought he was a hero?' she said to herself as a the sky's tears began to fall. Aero looked away from The Gilded Knight, removed her mask and hair ribbons, and stuffed them into her pockets. She wouldn't have to worry about Aero's name, she wasn't in costume, she was just Lailah now. Keeping herself turned away from The Gilded Knight, Lailah began walking down the street, attempting to burn the image from her mind. Two dead bodies in one day and there was nothing she could do about it. Aero was pretty face of Hero's, the representative or mascot if you will, everything a Hero did somehow reflected back to her, because when someone thought the word 'Hero' she wasn't missing from their mind. How would this look on her when the news was aired, how would they bring her into context now? Would they blame it on her, as if she was responsible for all the Heros in this city, or would they just confuse themselves even more by comparing The Gilded Knight's actions to hers. ''Anti-hero, that's what he is. What am I? I'm walking away from a Powered who just murdered a man."

The roads were clear now except for one lone car coming their way. Lailah's heart thumped against her chest as the car approached. Her mind thought back to the scene behind her, The Gilded Knight and man. She refused to let The Gilded Knight or anyone harm the person heading towards them. Lailah sprinted into the road, directly in front of the cars path. She must have been a sight to behold with her paint and blood smeared clothes, her frizzy mess of hair that now fell around her head, free from a decorative pony tail, the gradually increasing rain dampening her and the world around her didn't help her case either. Despite her bedraggled appearance Lailah's face was more stern than ever. The driver, a man around her age, sparked the fire back into her. She remembered why she did what she did in that moment, because silly little people like this man, oblivious to the chaos around him, lived such beautiful, precious lives that deserved and needed to be protected. She would let this 'Gilded Knight' roam free for now, but in that moment she swore that the next time he tarnished Aero's name and all the other Hero's names, she would bring him down herself.

She also really hoped this man stopped and didn't run her over or go around her. Sure, it would only hurt a little bit if the car slammed into her body, but she really didn't want to have other people see her powers. She also didn't want to have to damage the car or chase the car if it went around her. She just wanted to get this civilian out of the vicinity of this mess safely. "Stop the car!" She shouted. A moment passed and she realized how rude she sounded. "Stop the car, please!"

@Blitzkriegxd1 @RoanDracniil @Spinoceratopsrex @AlphaDraco @SomatoToup123 (Don't even worry about it! I've been in this RP since the beginning and I have absolutely no clue what is happening.

Asher almost drove right around her if it wasn't for the fact that she told him to stop. He didn't know this girl and he sure as hell didn't want to find out. All he wanted to do was leave before the cops figured that 'girl' was lying. He stopped his car, pulling it over to the side of the road before hopping out. Ash didn't know what he was getting himself into, all he knew was that this girl was in his way. The moment he actually got a good look at her, he noticed the blood staining her clothes and her hair a frizzy mess. He slowed down a bit, thinking she might be asking for his help. Maybe someone was killed and she's trying to get him to help?

"Why did you stop me?" His voice showed irritation as he carefully came closer to the girl. He wasn't oblivious to the city and it's 'problems', but that didn't mean he shouldn't be careful. Even if she was a girl, she could be anything. His powers weren't that useful for fighting crime, but it was good for causing it. He raised his hands up, getting in a fighting pose, indicating that she should be careful too. He stopped coming closer after a while, keeping his distance just in case.

( @RowdyPotato Thanks for tagging me, I was starting to rethink my post.)

Roland almost felt pity for the guy as he let out the scream. Almost. Now he knew what it felt like to be one of those several dozen people he had torn apart. Normally Roland would have never taken the chance of killing a villian, but this man had been going towards his family, the one thing he would kill to protect.

The blast was unexpected and the Gilded Knight stumbles as the man flew into the road only to get hit by a bus. This almost seemed like divine retribution in a way. He looked back at where the blast had come from to see Aero looking horrified. He realized what the situation must of looked like from her point of view and tried to explain. "I know what I did was not of the standards heroes should uphold, but this man had slaughtered several dozen innocents." For some reason, Aero's expression didn't change. She didn't even reply. Couldn't she hear him?

Turning to where the murderer lay, he walked up and kneeled beside the mangled body. Holding out his hand, he concentrated on healing to find quite the surprise. The man's nerves and muscles were already rapidly fixing themselves. "He has a healing factor, he is playing us." He chuckled to himself and turned his head to where Aero had been, only to see no one there. He sighed. He would have to find Aero later on and explain this to her.

Standing up, he put his hand just above the murderer's body and focused on shaping the hard light. The light came out and locked itself around the man, keeping him confined as the Gilded Knight lifted him up. Looking at several spectators, he decided it would be best to tell them what was happening.

"Citizens, I know that this may not look the best, but this man is responsible for the murder of several dozen innocents downtown. He will live, but I must take him to somewhere he can cause no more harm. However, I could still use your help. There are injured down town that need help, if you can get emergency aid down there, it would be greatly appreciated." With that, he started walking back downtown to the penitentiary, with the villian in tow.

Joe Delia Jones

He was now caught by his own stupidity, his muclse and tendons must have started healing at a rapidly increasing pace. He was awake now, the pain still thick in his head. He could feel somthing wrapped around him, he felt oddly calm as he felt himself start to move. He honestly didn't know what to do, it was fruitless to use his power now. He was still healing and before he could turn a shadow solid, the light user would just destroy it. He couldn't speak because of the pain but he did cough up some blood.

He didn't feel any regrets for his actions, but he was impressed. Not a single person had been able to beat him so easily. He laughed inside his own head, he would just bid his time. He would eventually get free, he would most likely play hero for awhile and play it off as if he had become reformed. Then he would find a way to kill this man, he would break his will first amd find what he loved and destroy it.

He opened one of his eyes, he scanned the area and logged it in his mind to come back to later. Mind a flutter, he started remembering the words to a song. He hummed she'll becoming around the mountain as they went on.

Kay "Malice²" Cross

img-thing

"JERONIMOOOO!!!" Blurted out Kay as she fell down from atop the church, landing atop the hard light constraints within which was held the villain, causing a thud but neither breaking them nor actually harming the man within. This was due to two things; the first was that this time she hadn't made herself a body harder and heavier than diamond before her drop, and it wasn't quite big enough a fall to reach terminal velocity. Her light body simply bounced off the entrapment and landed right next to the light knight. "...nope, that one's no good either." She uttered, in reference to the catchphrase she'd spouted out. The more Kay behaved, the more Kane - whom had awoken aboard his plane and let her run on a sort of autopilot - cringed; he'd shot himself in the foot a little by creating Kay in his image of what he believed today's teenage supers to be... which wasn't too far off from the textbook definition of "complete and absolute power happy moron".

"
Well... you already caught him. Jeez louise was I useless..." She uttered as she stretched her arms overhead, blinking a few times and letting out a haphazard yawn. "At least I helped find where he ran off to... but that basically just balances out the fact that I let him escape in the first place." She let out on a more realistic note, looking down to her feet and kicking a pebble that was nearby. "Guess you really didn't need my help at all... Not really good at this 'hero-ing business'..." She uttered in a slightly mopey tone, though a part of her was glad the villain was caught. She really did believe she was doing her best to be a heroine.

Her attention turned to the villai- Was he humming? "
Hmm... Gilded Knight... he's still conscious. Is that an 'on purpose' thing?" She let out, but before he could reply, she immediately followed with a second question; "Okay nevermind that one! I might be wrong but it seems to be like you're heading to the local penitentiary..." She shook her head violently, palms flapping outward. "Don't get me wrong; total 'good guy' move on your part, it makes sense and all but... do you think they have a cell to contain a guy like him?" She asked this and crossed her arms over her chest, tilting her head slightly to the side. "...cause if you wanna make suuuuuper sure he doesn't come out until he gets judged for his crimes... I miiiiiight know a better, safer place to put him. Nothing in it for me, I just feel like I was super useless today and I feel like I should fix that somehow." With those words, Kay jumped nervously from one foot to the other, still following alongside The Gilded Knight and the floating body of the slowly healing villain.

Lailah 'Aero' Maret Falak

137682178.jpg

Lailah couldn't stop a small, barely visible smile from gracing her coral pink lips when the man got into a fighting pose. Unless this man had an extreme amount of strength or concussive force, Lailah wouldn't even feel his blows. Of course, she would entertain him, just to make him feel more secure. Sirens and flashing lights began closing in from all sides, aiming straight for their location. Lailah glanced around nervously before turning back to face him and preparing herself for a lesson in acting. She took a step back, almost cowering away from him. "I'm sorry, but I really need to get you out of here and this place is surrounded by cops, so would you mind if I just-" In a quick and careful movement, just because she wouldn't feel his punch didn't mean she wanted to be hit, Lailah grabbed the boy by the waist, immediately pressing her head into his chest to avoid his fists, and shot into the air. The city grew smaller and smaller as she flew higher into the sky, holding her passenger tightly. "I won't drop you," Lailah spoke, her voice soft with a twinkle of amusement, "I promise".

Her day had been full of mistakes, but she was finally right about one thing, the streets below her were being completely zoned off. Everyone found inside the vicinity was being taken in as witnesses. Her mind went back to The Gilded Knight but she pushed him out of her thoughts for now. The man she was carrying was probably having a panic attack, so she decided to at least show some manners. Lailah pulled her head away from his chest to get a good look at his face. "Hi," she stated merrily. "My name is Lailah, like the Angel of Conception, quite fitting for a person like me. Who're you?"

He wasn't given the time to answer, if he even was, because Lailah was suddenly landing in a familiar ally way, one with a magnificent mural of the heroine Aero painted on a wall using several beautiful colors. Lailah landed them both safely on the ground feet first. She stepped away after a moment, her hands lingering on him to make sure he had his balance. "Sorry about this," Lailah smiled, scratching the back of her head awkwardly. "If you have any place you want to go other than this random ally with this super-flipping-awesome mural street art done by some beautiful, extremely talented and really deaf artist," she wiggled her eyebrows suggestively before carrying on, " I'd be happy to take you there. I was just trying to evacuate you as fast as I could, so I apologize if it seemed like I was kidnapping you. Some pretty rough stuff happened there". Lailah glanced down at her clothes, the blood smeared on them only emphasized her point.

@SomatoToup123
(No problem, friend :) )

Asher, not even given the time to react, let out an angry huff. First, he was told to get out of his car by some random woman. Then, she picked him up like a child and carried him through the city as if he were in some danger. And now, she was joking around with him like this was all normal and she does it everyday. Nope, Ash wasn't having it. Despite her kind act, he gave her a frown. "I need to go back and get my car." It was the only thing on his mind right now and no act of kindness would change that.

Asher valued his cars more than anyone he ever knew, and he was not going to just let it go, especially with all the time he spent on it. A determined look crossed over his face.

"It's the most important thing I have, so take me back to get it." He huffed. He was a street racer and that car was one of the best he had. Ash didn't care much about his crappy life, as long as his cars were in safe hands. And right now, it wasn't. "And I don't care about the danger, I can protect myself." He added, just in case she were to protest.

He looked down at her clothes, noticing for the second time today how bloody they were. Maybe it was something actually dangerous? No matter, he didn't care. As long as he got his prized possession back before something bad could happen to it. He would never forgive himself if it did.

The Gilded Knight was lugging the captured criminal towards the penitentary when he heard a yell from above. "Jeronimo? What the..." Suddenly he was yanked back slightly as the young heroine from before landed on his captive. Well, at least he knew where she had gotten to, and he was now having a strange case of déjà vu. Shaking his head, he tightened his grip and continued onward.

"Well, the penitentary is designed for powered criminals, so it does have a containment cell where the walls, floor, and ceiling are basically giant plexiglass windows with massive floodlights on each side, but I am intrigued about your place."

He stopped for a moment and looked back at the young girl. He did feel slightly guilty that her first heroing went poorly. He didn't want her to be down about it. "Also, don't beat yourself up over earlier, you're judging learning how to be a hero, you'll make mistakes, but it's for the better. I mean, I made many mistakes when I was just starting out, and trust me, my first time being a hero was much more embarassing than yours. All I'll say is that it had to do with a carton of eggs and a skunk, but that's all you are getting out of me about that incident." He visibly cringed as he remembered it. It was not his best moment.

Looking back up, he continued. "So chin up, there will be other opportunities for you. Nobody does everything perfectly on their first attempt." He pointed with his other hand at the villain. "Now, if you really want to help, you can grab the other side of this thing and help me carry him along. Heck, tell me about yourself while you're at it. Powers? Motives? Tragic backstory? Name?" He paused as if thinking for a moment. "Oh yeah. I'm The Gilded Knight by the way. Hero of the innocent and bringer of retribution." He held out the hand not holding onto the hardlight construct.

Gil AKA Gecko

Gecko decided to make his way to the church near the orphanage, since there seemed to be something going on there. Leaping from building to building, he saw a shadowy figure being overlooked by a teenage girl and a man who seemed to give of some kind of light, seeing there was nothing here that Gecko could do, he decided to go and look for something else to do, in this city, there was always something bad going on. Gecko started searching.

Soon he came to a house overlooking a small alleyway, where he saw two men being pursued by a person wearing a black hoodie, the person raised his hands and made twin bolts of electricity that hit the two men in the back, they fell down and writhed in pain as the hooded villain bent down and took a wallet from one of them before running in another direction.

This was the exact same villain Gecko had fought before, the electricity shooting air manipulator who Gecko witnessed the robbing a store, this time he had to be brought down. Gecko knew the villain would think he was dead, and that gave him the element of surprise, Gecko jumped down and unsheathed his sword. This time he had to win.

Stan

Stan got out of his bed in the hotel room, his battle with the lizard boy had drained him, but now he was fully rested and ready to go. He felt slightly bored, so he decided he'd take a walk through the streets, hopefully not to cause trouble, just for recreational reasons. He got into the elevator, went to ground floor and stepped outside.

Walking around he decided to take note of a few places where he could eat or sleep when his time at the hotel was up, a restaurant named 'The fiery frying pan', a cosy looking alleyway and a beer store, which he could rob if needed. Suddenly Stan heard something, two men had just knocked another person to the ground, one of the robbers bent down and took a wallet. Stan didn't like this, he wanted to help. "I'm such a hypocrite." He thought. Stan walked towards the two robbers.

"What are you looking at?" Said one of the robbers

"Two people who really ought to give me that wallet."

"Ha ha." Said robber number two. "What are you gonna do if I don't, huh?"

"I can assure you it will be painful, hand it over." Stan held his arm out and shot a bolt of electricity over their heads. The pair looked at Stan in shock and started running, into a little alleyway. But then they realized they were at a dead end, but before they could turn around, Stan shot two bolts of electricity into their backs. They fell to the ground, one of them started screaming in agony. Stan bent down and took the wallet, curious, he checked how much was in there, 500 dollars. Stan had told himself that he wouldn't steal again, but this was too tempting, he put his hand in and took 100, he probably wouldn't notice anyway. Stan walked back up to the man who had just been robbed.

"I got your wallet back."

"Thank you!" Said the man. "How can I repay you?"

"That won't be necessary"

And with that Stan continued on his walk, then he heard something behind him, light footsteps. He turned around and saw Gecko standing behind him, sword drawn, ready to strike.

"No." Said Stan. "You...You can't still be here! I saw you plummeting to your death! I killed you! How.."

"Lets just say I had a little help." Said Gecko. "Now to business, this time, you will die." Gecko leapt into the air and sent down a blast of white hot fire, Stan leapt out of the way just in time and fired a bolt of lightning, but the Lizard Boy nimbly jumped out of the way, he seemed to know how to dodge his strikes, this wasn't good. Stan watched as Gecko threw a knife at him. But Stan summoned a gust of wind and blew the knife of course. Then he summoned more wind and flew upwards before coming down like a lightning bolt onto Gecko, sending a massive amount of voltage through him. The lizard winced with pain before pulling himself up and looking Stan in the eye, clearly this so called hero would be much harder to destroy than was anticipated.

He was still humming as ue was drahhed along. The female hero had reappeared, falling from the sky like a rocket. Oddly enough he impact was less "Intense" than the last go aeound. He laughed at her and spoke with ill intent in his voice. "Well looks like you can manipulate your mass! You must of been a cow before you got you powers!" He snickered, just laying there and turned his head slowly toward The Gilded Knight.

"
You have faith in a worthless cause, there are more of me out there. People who have lost so much because of idots with a 'noble cause'! Your all fools, you fight pointless fights in hopes of helping the masses. Sheep need to be slaughtered in order to make way for the seeds of evil to be sowed. There corpses make fertile plots, there blood feeds the ego of idots like you!"

He let out a high pitched laugh as they went on. There was anplan in place incase he didn't come home. He himself didn't set it up but there was a man who had a plan.

He didn't know there plan but it was to get him out just encase he didn't make it back. He started to to shift a bit as the wound finally closed. His bidy felt more relaxed as it was still pumped full of dopamine. In his pocket he had a pack of cigs. He twisted his hand and the shadows in his pocket balled up and clasped around the pack. He tried to push it out of his pocket but it was no use. He shook his head and just started screaming loudly. He just screamed, attracting the looks of bystanders.

Kay "Malice²" Cross

img-thing

The young woman smiled, happy to have caught the man's interest. "Whoah! They have one of those? I didn't even know. I guess in the five years they would've had the time to get the technology... Well, my place basically has that but instead of a Plexiglas cage its a titanium alloy mixed in with diamond-based fiber wire and instead of giant flood lights its a microwave that emits power-cancelling radiation which functions on the opposite spectrum of the ones which jump-started our powers five years ago... or something like that. I'm not super tech-savvy, I just know it works super well and I can't get out of it..." She punctuated this string of words which almost sounded too smart to come out of her own mouth by flapping the loose ends of her sweater's sleeves.

Kay then smiled softly as the Gilded knight cheered her up on the matter of her first heroing and couldn't help but let out a small giggle as she imagined what in god's name could've gone wrong in a hero's day that would involve a skunk and a carton of eggs. The exact image she'd pictured was the knight climbing a tree in an effort to rescue a little girl's cat, only to realize far too late that the cat was actually a skunk, which would've sprayed him and caused him to fall from the branch he was clinging to and through a truck filled with cartons of eggs, causing him to be covered in eggs. Of course, that was probably not it. Still, it was amusing. "
Sorry... sorry... you're cheering me up and I'm here laughing at your past predicament like some kind of twa- ...I mean... idiot. Thanks..." She let out, realizing only a little too late down the length of her sentence that she was talking to one of the most respectable heroes of the city.

Upon being given something to do, she immediately grabbed hold of the other side of the cage and was about to shake the knight's hand when the evil-doer started mouthing off. "
Yeah yeah... and then you'll slay the Jabberwocky and go off to save Narni- OH MY GOD! STOP YELLING YOU DIPSHIT!" With that, she couldn't help but punctuate her sentence by beating her fist onto the evil-doer's arm. "WHAT DO YOU EVEN... Oh. Ah, hold on... I got this." With that said, she popped the smokes out of the man's pockets and pulled one out. She lit it with a lighter - she pretended it came out of her pocket, but really it was generated within said pocket on the fly - and then placed it between the man's lips. "There. Now shush. I'm trying to do exposition here... If you open your mouth and the smoke falls out I'm not picking it up." With that said, she turned her attention back to the knight and shook his hand.

The invitation to explain herself caused - though none present could see it - Kane to smile. He hadn't wasted his time when he came up with a backstory for her after all. Kay, as prompted, thus delivered what information was relevant. "
Well... nice to meet you Gilded Knight! My name is K- I mean... I am 'Malice'. I know it sounds a bit 'evil-ish' but I wanted to name myself to be something which bit villains back in the as- I mean... behind. I wasn't sure if 'Karma' was taken or not but figured it was too obvious and chose not to risk it in case someone came after me because of it..." She was still holding onto the villain, so her arm split into two at this moment so she could count on her fingers. She held up four, and put down one with her other hand. "There, name's down. Three more things to go..."

With this, she turned her head back to look at the knight. "
No real 'tragic back-story' per say... I lost my memory during the blast that awakened everyone's powers but according to the guy who's been taking care of me since, I was an orphan anyway, so I probably forgot more bad than good. He says his parents adopted me when I was eleven, but to be honest I see him as more of a father than a brother... I can't double-check with said parents unfortunately since they died during that same event which made me lose my memory... But since I remember none of that; I can't really call it 'tragic' right? He's been taking very good care of me and all so all I really have are happy memories and... I just realized I probably told you way too much about my personal life. IN FRONT OF A VILLAIN TOO! God, so dumb!" She punctuated all this by punching herself in the head with her own newly formed third arm.

"
Well, that's two down... hmm... powers is kind of hard to explain... But basically; I can turn myself into whatever I like. That's why I'm not in a disguise right now, this isn't what I really look like. This girl doesn't even exist!" She continued, almost as though her earlier screw-up hadn't just happened. "I can turn my body parts into things, I can change my shape, size, what I'm made out of, et cetera. But no, unlike what Doucheface McBiteme over there said, I wasn't a cow before I got my powers. I even have pictures for proof but I'd have to hide my face while I show them because secret identity reasons..." As she finished that sentence, she quickly looked left and right and then lowered one last finger, leaving her index in the air.

"
As for motivation... I mostly want to be a hero for my dadbro... He's the one who made the 'super-proof' prison by the way... So if you want to go there he might be able to explain exactly what WE are trying to accomplish better than I ever could. He's smart and stuff." She finished, and then reformed her split arm to be a single arm holding onto the villain's light prison. "So... penitentiary or my secret hideout? I'll help you ferry this guy there either way but I reeeaaaally think option two is muuuuuuch safer."

Lailah 'Aero' Maret Falak

Lailah winced at his request and gave him a sheepish smile. "Well you see, it's going to be a little hard getting you back in their without being seen, especially since I don't have my costume with me, and even harder to drive out with your car. Couldn't you just go get it in the morning?" She tilted her head curiously, not understand why this man was so worried about his vehicle. She tried to put herself in his shoes, replacing his car with her three hundred dollar paint brush set. Her heart ached to even imagine them in the street, unprotected and gradually ruining as bystanders walked all over them. She sucked her teeth and glanced back up at the man, her eyes wide. She hoped he hadn't spoken to her in those few moments of thought, her eyes were far from his lips. Another random thought floated itself into her conciousness. 'Man, I hope he doesn't get freaked out by me staring at his lips.'

"Uhm...okay...maybe I can-" Lailah was interrupted by loud voices and a bright flash of yellow light. She looked over, interested by what was happening. Her jaw dropped at the sight, not only was she being morally dragged into another fight, still lacking Aero's outfit, but it was that reptile boy and whom she assumed was the villain she saved him from earlier. "Hey! Lizard-boy! H-" She sucked in a breath when Gecko's attacker slammed into him. Her eyes narrowed at the boy attacking whom she considered her only reptilian friend. "You need some help, big guy?"

"I can't just 'get it in the morning'. It's important and expensive and if it gets stolen I won't have any other way to make money." Okay, that was a lie. He had a few other cars, but they weren't as good. Asher quickly ducked his head out of the way, trying to avoid the trouble that they both saw. The only way to get his car back without her trying to stop him was to pretend to be someone else.

He didn't even catch her last sentence or the fact that what she was about to say sounded like she would help him. All he cared about was the car. Quickly, he hid behind a trash bin, and shifted into the pretty lady from earlier. Once he was done, he came back out, a fake look of confusion on his face. He also tousled up his hair a bit and rearranged his clothes, making it look like he was in some sort of struggle.

"Help!" He called out, trying to redirect her attention from the other two guys who were in there own battle.

The Gilded Knight

Roland was honestly surprised by the revelation that this girl had a way to neutralize powers while in a holding cell. Usually the best thing that people could do was to try and counteract the person's powers, such as a pyro kinetic villain's cell having knee deep water and constantly dripping. But if she knew about this, why didn't she give it to the authorities? It would have been a great help to pretty much all law enforcement. He was about to ask her about that, but stopped when he saw the smile come across her face. The joy of helping another gave him that warm fuzzy feeling he always obtained after brightening someone's day. Her giggle at the few details of his first heroine mishap brought another smile to his face as he waved his hand at it. "Don't worry about it. It's fine. I still laugh about it when I look back as well." It seemed like everything was going to go just fine. That was until the villain started spewing his hatred and proceeded to start screaming.

Before he could do anything, the young woman had already snapped at him and got him to shut up. Apparently he had wanted a smoke. Some people had the strangest priorities. Tightening the hard-light around the captive to make sure he didn't do that again, he started back to listening to the heroine, now known as Malice. "Well, you are definitely going to have a harder time getting good PR with a name like that, but stick with it if you..." He paused as her arm split into two identical copies. He was silent as he retold her backstory, both from the sadness of it, as well as he was still surprised by the third arm. He remained silent throughout the rest of her explanation as well. The power was a new one. Sounded incredibly powerful. He was honestly very grateful she was on the side of good instead of evil.

Finishing up her story, and revealing that her brother was the one to build and develop the power neutralization room, he had but one reply. "Well, that was the second most disturbing thing I've seen today." He glared towards the captured villain, the obvious first on that list. "But no offense is meant. I was just not expecting an arm to split into two. Plus, may I just add that I am very grateful you chose to use your powers for the forces of good. It really peaks a lot about your character that you are using it to help innocents. So many others would just use it for personal gain. Be happy to know you are above the rest." He paused as he considered her offer to bring this villain to her brother. He reply did not want this villain to get on the streets again, and he did know that there had been at least one jailbreak before at the penitentiary. "You know what? I'll trust you on this. I'll come along to check out this state of the art holding cell. But while we're going there may I ask you a question? Why doesn't your brother give these designs to the police? You know, to help them keep villains contained?"

Devon "Laser" Sunkist

Laser_zpshfzyncxo.jpg

Devon, has had become her habit on days such as these, was walking the streets wearing her super uniform under her casual wear. Her glove, which - unlike the rest of her outfit - did not happen to be quite as easy to conceal, was sitting comfortably within a relatively small gym bag she had slung over her shoulder. The rest of her costume, thankfully, was well hidden by her neon red vest and stone-washed skinny jeans.

It was in this attire and with the mindset of looking for some mischief to pull or - alternatively and preferably - some money to make that the young super villain stumbled across the scene of a young man using his powers to rob someone... and leaving some money in the wallet before returning it to some other guy? Of course, she wasn't about to let that stupidity not benefit her directly, so she modified her trajectory to get in front of the man who was distancing himself from the scene of the theft. It took roughly ten seconds for her to approach the man, and even fewer to commit her crime. "Yeah, I know, twice a day, it sucks, bla bla bla... but you're about to lose that wallet again." The man, doubly started by the beautiful young woman that had stepped before him and the oddity of the words she spoke couldn't help but let out a light chuckle of disbelief before Devon's eyes took on a red glow and he immediately realized the situation he was in. For her part, Devon simply extended her hand, made a "come-hitter" motion and that was enough for the wallet to find itself within her palm. "Let's see now..." She uttered as the man was about to run. "...don't leave yet." The crimson eyes and her tone were enough to make the man freeze in place, even from behind.

She took the four hundred dollars, buried them into her pocket and handed the man his wallet back with a light smile. "I took all the cash, but the cards are still in there. I'm not a monster but... as they say; no rest for the wicked." The man gulped nervously at this and she waved him good-bye, which he understood as his cue to run for the hills. Not even a second later did the quite little crime on the side of the street turn into a veritable superhuman gathering. Some kind with lightning powers, a lizard boy, a flying blonde and... was that a chick popping out of a trash can? "Yeah... Don't think I should stick around for that." Devon told herself aloud as she slowly backed away, hoping none of them had noticed her recent theft... well, more like hoping none of them would try to stop her from getting away, at any rate.

Rhiannon woke up to the clock playing the radio, her long lashes fluttered open as she shot a small purple orb at the clock smashing it into the wall with a loud bang noise. Ria moaned then reluctantly got out of her queen sized bed and went to her closet and pulled out a set of clothes and threw them on. She huffed then tied her hair into a messy ponytail and did the normal stuff she usually did in the morning, she would complain at the TV maybe do some shit on someone then do what she had to do for the day. She left her apartment and decided to go to the beach. It was sunny but she didn't care

Ria found a nice spot and placed her stuff down on the soft white sand. She noticed that a large group of teens were yelling and making a ruckus which pissed her off. "You guys need cool down" She murmured then watched the teens yell for help that they were 'supposedly' dying of frost. Ria slipped her sunglasses back and smirked then layed down, enjoying the screams near her "That's what happens when you jinx it" She sighed then sun bathed on the beach

(Sorry it's crap. I haven't got my notifications lately)
