SUNSET BLVD

We're still chasing
Sunsets
Riding in this car
Don't know where we are
and you're feeling
Nervous
Pray you're not too far
but right now I feel your heart,
beating
let it sing
let it dance
let it stop just for the chance
I get to see you again
and tonight the moon's alive
but the sun really never dies
so when the sun sets tonight
I'll still be seeing stars in your eyes​

GREEN EYES

I smile when I'm feeling lonely
Xanax and God are the only things that hold me
don't blame the heart
when the stomach growls
when it's really the eyes that make you hungry
Trust me I know
Yes, I know...
But maybe I'm hoping you have the same green eyes too
Understand what I mean when I say I'm happy for you,
and I'm so glad that you're doing well
But you, your lover, and your pretty smile
can all burn in hell.​

Sometimes, they will learn to live without you

Dear Kobe Bryant,

I wish I could have written a letter before you went away
You've gone towards even lights brighter than LA
Days will go by and rain will always be
Tears outside and cracks in a heart the world cannot see
I was never 6' 6 but you taught me to stand tall
You showed the world that life is greater than a ball
Mamba mentality, pride, bravery, and a will to never fail
If at first you don't succeed, the ship has never sailed
You taught us to make mistakes and live
To give until there was nothing left
Through broken fingers and cracked ribs
I still thought you were the best
I was a child and now i've grown
and still you were the greatest I've ever known
No fear in your attacks
Even I thought death couldn't hold you back
I waited for it all to be a lie
to rise like you always do
but to a greater place we'll watch you fly
But still on earth we'll always remember you.

Looking through the rain
Into a world you can't see
Shining clouds and tractor beams
take me higher...
and higher
above the singing sky
above the twisted sighs
above the laughing sirens
above the storm that is my mind

Look at where we are
We came so far to be here
right among the stars
but there's no one around
I'll always miss those sounds
and I could find my real dreams
if I come crashing down with you

when you finally find those things
now I just want to leave this stratosphere

S H A R D S​

The dead shed no tears, but I…
I’ll cry if I don’t die for you,
take off and go break the sky for you
Tell me heart to restart and lie to my mind for you
Take a second and live from your point of view
In the night I get caught dreaming of the next day
Sunset to sunrise to always,
Always, I have to do things
…to translate and showcase everything I feel
Things don’t always measure up to dreams…
Well,
I can only die once
Never could cry enough
Jump higher and higher,
until I’m space dust
These dreams are beautiful,
Until the day I wake up
and I see you
Performing those miracles; my glass heart beside you
You can see cracks from the past and I know it’s not perfect
The fractions became satirical, my glass shards beside you
I’m staring at my soul and knowing it’s not worth it
Instead of fading away I keep the broken pieces
Hoping someone could fix the scars.
While for another, you're still jumping for stars
Maybe we'll both land, and just be who we are.
Instead of always sweeping up shards.

DEAD ART​

I'm an artist but my pictures aren't physical
My mind's a canvas and your pen stay on my mental
Red ink never got me down confidence subliminal
Subliminal confidence spread by similar weasels
This your prototype and you're type billion, just another me
another me stuck in the crowd, creativity too loud
If I speak loud enough maybe I'll get a crown
Then I could look down
at the sun beating a dragon now
To sleep under his brothers make a wish when he shoots
If I had one wish I would wish for to
To understand a speech you can't hear
To understand an understanding too smeared
between two people who never knew fear
but new fears arise and we still die clear
clear headed simple minded or maybe just content
Content with the context of death sent-
enced to a generation of youth subjected to the explicit
and that's just life and we all paid her a visit.​

You can't see roses
through blue windows
Counting both our sins
All the petals fall
They can wilt without me
It's always raining
when I'm crying
I suppose that means I'm alive, and
