Once we have at least seven characters we can start, new characters can always join in after we start.

Tick, tick, tick.

Manny sat at his desk in front of the classroom for AP World History, his notebook out on his desk as he looked down through his schedule for the day. It was the last day of school, and only a minute or two, before summer vacation. Manny, being a senior, would be heading to college next year. His parents wouldn't take no for an answer anyway; it wouldn't be like them to have their protégé skip his education. He had already sent out multiple applications to a few colleges, and his parents were sure to put in a few good words to the private ones. However, Manny wasn't exactly looking forward to the summer. It was always filled with uncertainty; you were never quite sure just what to expect from it, and it was damn near impossible to have a plan.

One thing was for certain though; he had been invited to a 'bonfire' after school, courtesy of some girl he had never met. Manny didn't really have any plans on going to it, but several of his friends insisted, including his parents.

The bell finally rang, and a collective cheer rang out from the classroom as all the kids quickly scrambled to get out the door. Manny calmly packed his notebook back into his pocket and pulled his white backpack onto his shoulder. He walked out into the crowded hallways with a thin smile on his face. Despite his anxiety of the future, he couldn't help but be affected by the energy of everyone else. He eventually made his way outside and to his car, a small purple Coupe, and pulled out his ring of keys, fumbling through the many keys as he tried to find his car keys...

(@ Pretty much anyone who would like to speak to him quickly.)

Elizabeth sat on her usual spot, right next to the window. In her hand she held a small envelope, in which was an invitation to a bonfire taking place that evening after school. While looking absentmindedly out of the window, waiting for these last few minutes to pass as quickly as possible, she played with the card in her hand.

When the bell finally rang, Elizabeth was one of the firsts to get up, having her books packed way before the bell went off. She walked out off the classroom without minding most of her classmates, since this had been only her second year in this school, as well as her last year. Elizabeth was a senior and thus, she was going to college next year. Or at least it was what she had planned. Her savings were barely sufficient and she was sure she wouldn't get any finiancial help from the people who were supposed to be her parents. She tought about having a break year before going to college, maybe getting a job in a retail shop or the like, making some money was never a bad idea. Elizabeth wasn't too sure what exactly she wanted to study, so a break year would probably give her enough time to think it throughly. With a heavy sigh and a slight head shake, she tried to forget about it all for now. School just ended, so there was no point wasting her time thinking about it too much. All she cared about for now was the bonfire after school.

As she exited school, making her way through the halls filled with laughter and people hugging and whatsoever, she walked towards her bike which was chained to a post near the parking spots at the school. As she was about to leave, she noticed a boy near his purple car. She was sure that this guy had some of his classes together with her, but she just couldn't remember his name. Nevertheless, as she passed by him she casually wished him happy Holidays, accompanied by a smile.

Manny let out a small squeak and dropped his keys onto the ground as someone passed by him rather stealthily. It was a girl, someone who he thought he had seen around school, and she wished him a happy summer as she passed. He put a hand to his heart and breathed a sigh of relief as he spoke back to her quickly with a nod and smile.

"Y-you too! Have a nice summer."

He then bent down on the ground and retrieved his keys while taking a deep breath calming himself. He found the key finally and opened the driver door to his car and slid inside. He took a moment to slide a hand down his face and shook his head.

"Man, I need to get more relaxed. If I stay this tense then everyone is gonna scare me..."

He reached into his pocket and pulled out his notebook again, looking at his schedule. The only thing after school today was a bullet labeled 'Bonfire?', and he pulled a pencil out of his glove compartment, which he kept full of emergency school supplies, and put a small note next to it that read 'Relax.' He nodded, put the pencil and notebook back, and inserted his keys into the ignition, starting his car...

Alexis could only stare at the clock, it wasn't like anyone else was paying any attention to the teacher, what Mrs. Brooke was talking about wasn't really that important anyways, she was just telling the students to study over the summer. Her phone buzzed quietly, not loud enough for the teacher to give her one of the cold glares, but enough for Alexis to take notice. She pulled out her phone subtly, it was just a message from one of her best friends, trying to encourage her to go to a bonfire that the most popular kid in school was throwing. She rolled her eyes, it wasn't really her scene and all of her friends knew that, Gabby was just trying to make her socialize. She groaned, her mom would just encourage her to go if she went home, even if she didn't tell her Gabby would probably show up and tell her mom about it. Going with Gabby straight away would be the best way to avoid the fun conversation her mother had with her every night about her being young and that she needed to be a little wild. While she was deep in her thoughts, the bell rang awakening her from her trance. The rush of kids to the door was something she couldn't handle so she simply waited for the crowd to die down. She wished her teacher a good summer and walked outside the class. She took a deep sigh and replied that she would go with Gabby. She pushed open the doors to see students walking to their cars, heading into busses, and walking home. She walked to her red imperial crown convertible with a smile, her mom thought it would help her make friends and too it out of the garage, it was what she would drive before Alexis. She hopped inside and waited for Gabby, it would only be a few minutes tops before she would show up. As if on cue, she ran out the doors with a huge smile on her face, heading straight to the car. "Hey" Alexis said with a smile, "You agreed!" Gabby replied with a huge smile on her face. "Yeah, yeah, I just don't want you to bring my mom into this" "Whatever, were going to the biggest party of the year!" Alexis rolled her eyes "Whatever, you coming with me to eat or not?" Gabby sighed at her lack of excitement and got in the car, they drove off with Gabby occasionally waving at people who she grew close with throughout the year, while Alexis waived at a few people who were in her class, such as Manny and Elizabeth, they weren't exactly close but they had a few awkward conversations that lasted no longer than a minute

As the bel rang Sophie casually packed her things into her old denim bag. Her bag was usually very heavy since she'd always carry tons of sheet music. You never know when you might need to break out in song! That's at least what she'd say anytime anyone would ask her. She walked out of the classroom and fetched her guitar from her locker. Then she made her way out to the stairs at the parking spots. She loved to occasionally sit and play before she decided to go home. She toned her guitar and started playing a sweet melody she'd come up with herself.

Alena watched the clock bored as the seconds went by. She was supposed to be focusing on the teacher, but she didn't care too much anymore. It was the end of the school year. Only a few more minutes and the bell would ring, signaling the beginning of a fantastic summer vacation. She looked around to the people on both sides of her. On her desk was a neatly enveloped invitation to a bonfire from the most popular kid in the school. Alena was still popular, but not as popular as this kid.

Minutes later, the bell rang. The flood of kids her age through the doors was overwhelming. She was able to squeeze through some as people exchanged "Have a good summer!" between each other and to her. Alena quickly noticed Alexis and Sophie and attempted to wave to both of them. She was sure they wouldn't have seen her due to the hugging and affections being passed between students. Alena, surprisingly, didn't have many close friends. She made it to the parking lot and waited for her parents to come get her. Even as she sat near the parking lot, she looked back and saw some kids who she didn't know well wave to her and smile widely as if they knew her all their lives. Alena released a very sheepish grin and awkwardly waved at them. As they passed by, she sighed and sat down. She often hated being popular. It annoyed her, but she didn't let it get the best of her.

The bonfire's probably not going to be as fantastic as I thought. Thoughts ran through her head as she waited for her parents to appear in their gray Rolls-Royce Ghost.

A pair of girls passed in front of Manny's car, and one of them gave him a short wave. He raised an eyebrow as she did so, but she looked familiar to him; her name just escaped his head at the moment. He gave an awkward wave back and once they were clear of his path, he drove forward and out of the parking lot.

After around 10 and a half minutes of driving, he parked in front of his favorite small ice cream store, Marley's Creamery. He had been getting his ice cream here his whole life, and didn't plan to stop now. Besides, he felt like he needed to reward himself for the completion of another school year. He opened the door and approached the counter with a smile, ordered his usual, two scoops of cookies and cream on a waffle cone, paid, and sat down at the counter. With a smile, he began to eat his ice cream, enjoying himself as he distracted his dread about the 'bonfire'.

It wasn't a surprise to anyone, but Liam was on detention again. He held a handkerchief against his bleeding nose, glancing over the two guys that had tried to jump on him. They were in a much worse condition, which made Liam roll his eyes. If anything,he was annoyed. Why the hell did they keep trying to beat him up? It wasn't his decision to hurt anyone. He just wanted peace. His mind was drifting,so he mostly ignored the principal's bullshit.

Pulling the letter he had received earlier,Liam gave it a slightly mistrustful look. He didn't have many friends in school. Why would anyone be interested on having him on an event like that? The only reason he had agreed to go was out of curiosity. When he was finally released,Liam walked out of the room with his hands buried in the pocket of his sweater. He didn't make much eye contact with the other classmates, not wanting to somehow get into another fight. His motorcycle was laying near, and Liam pulled his helmet with a sigh.

Alister pulled up to the school for the new year. another damn prison sentence he thought. He gave small nods of acknowledgment as he passed groups of people. Some girls whispered, pointed, giggled at him as he passed. He knew he was popular to them but he didn't care. he walked to his home room and took his seat second closest to the window. he noticed the girl at the window was actually pretty. After school he grabbed his guitar and sat near the front of the school and started playing. the girl who he sat next to in class passed by, but he didn't notice her as he played. [media]

Sophie looked around and spotted Alena sitting alone. She really liked her, she was a very sweet person but they didn't really talk much. That's a shame. Sophie thought. She decided to go talk to her. As she walked over she kept on playing, things time a more cheerful song, and sat down beside Alena. "So." She said. "Are you attending the bonfire later?"

As Elizabeth walked a little further when she noticed someone driving past her. Only after having passed her, she realized that it had been Alexis. She lifted her hand, as if waving her goodbye, maybe she'd see it in her rear -view mirror. As she was about to mount her bike, she heard a the sound of a guitar not too far away. As she looked around she noticed that the guy, who sat right next to her during some courses, sitting in front of the school while playing a song on his guitar. He looked pretty concentrated on what he was doing. She stopped for a moment to listen.

"Sounds pretty good.", Elizabeth said, with a smile.

@Wild Wolf Wind (Sorry for the late reply, was busy the whole day ^^)

Alena listened to Sophie's song with a smile, but was surprised when she asked her if she was going to show up at the bonfire. "Yeah," she replied, "I'll be there. How about you?" Alena already expected Sophie to say yes, but she wanted to make sure she was also going to be there. As a popular, Alena almost felt like she had to go. She didn't get out as much as she would've wanted to. @Anne Lind

When class ended Michael had ceased from reading his Harry potter book and eventually began packing his stuff so he could leave. He started thinking about the invitation he had received from a girl who he never got the name of. She just showed up randomly handed it to him and had taken off without saying much at all.

Michael thought about blowing it off as he would need to start studying for college as he had already decided to go to Harvard, but his parents started pressuring him to be more social rather then just be an outcast his entire life.

He delivered a heavy sly and rubbed his eyes in frustration "This is gonna be a pain in the ass" he said to himself as he stood up and began walking out of class. He absolutely loathed conversations with other people as he constantly got speechless as well as to intelligent for his own good often using words nobody else knows.

He began looking around feeling a bit overwhelmed at so many people that his parents wanted him to become more social. He looked around seeing if he could find anybody, but it seemed like everyone already were going into deep conversation. He sighed once more as he began rubbing his face "This is gonna be quite difficult" he muttered to himself.

@ anyone

Sophie smiled and continued playing, this time just simple chords. "Wouldn't miss it for the world." She grinned. When she'd finished playing the song sh laid down her guitar beside her. "So." She said. "Any big plans this summer?"

@Splo

Alexis and Gabby drove down the road listing to music, Gabby forced Alexis to stop at the dollar store so the could have candy at the bonfire, also some soda, their was an unspoken rule about punch at a high school party, never drink out of the punch bowl unless your willing to get drunk or sick, you never know who spiked the punch or what they spiked it with. After paying for the cheap snacks the pair hopped back in the car and drove to the beach. The girls sat on the car hood and watched a few jocks that were tricked into setting up while eating sour gummy worms. Gabby hopped off the hood and gave a wave, Alexis knew that she was going to mingle so she jumped off the car. She put the top up and locked it before walking away, she was heading toward the bridge that was above the beach to hang out till Gabby dragged her down. It was a long while before the party began but she felt that if she came early then she could leave early. She sighed and leaned on the rail, just watching the water. She pulled out her phone and headphones and began to listen to her favorite songs, the bridge was clear of people as per usual and she would be up here for a while

*Ryukaa walks out of his house and gets into his car* "Hmm, maybe ill stop by the McDonalds for a bite." He says while he yawns.

After a nice ice cream break, Manny got u0 and left the parlor and got back into his car. After getting lost a few times, he finally made his way to the beach. When he arrived, he saw a few of the more athletic guys setting up stuff like volleyball nets, but to his great surprise, Manny saw no fire pit or wood around. He sighed; looks like he would have to be the one to start the fire.

After a few minutes of setting up and scavenging for driftwood and the like, Manny had assembled a pretty decent looking fire pit. A teepee of logs sat in it with three large logs to sit on surrounding it. He smiled and nodded; he was proud of his accomplishment, but the only problem was that he had nothing to light it with. Hopefully someone would arrive with matches or the like. He shrugged as he walked further down the beach and sat down at another large log of driftwood, staring out at the ocean. The sun had just begun to set, and it was casting a golden-orange glow upon the water. He smiled and sighed as he watched the beautiful sight...

In the midst of all the chattering and all the obnoxiously loud shouting from people who couldn't control their tones Michael had noticed one girl didn't stop to talk to anyone. In fact she had stormed off without even giving a second look to those around her. Michael had seen her a couple times, but never really had a conversation with her. "I guess she isn't one for making conversation either, but I guess I could try with her" he said to himself as he followed her all the way outside.

It honestly seemed like he was stalking her, but the problem was that he just didn't know what to say or how to approach her. When they had reached the outside she had suddenly stopped as if she was waiting for someone. Michael knew this would be the best opportunity to start talking and he eventually walked to here standing side by side with her as if he was also waiting for something. He stood there for a solid thirty seconds before he was eventually able to make out a few words.

"Hey. You come here often?" the way he said it and how absolutely cheesy it sounded made Michael wanna facepalm himself. He wasn't exactly experienced with talking, but he knew he could have done better then that mess. "Well what I meant to say was......how are you doing today" he said playing off a fake little laugh while rubbing the back of his head.

Alister Finally finished up his song and started walking home, which wasn't far. He wasn't able to get at least 5 feet before getting swarmed by girls. Alister didn't like much attention, and the only times he really appreciates attention is when he plays. So he just told them that he needed to get home or his dad wouldn't let him go to the bonfire. he started toward home passing the girl he sat next to in mostly all of his courses. he gave her a small wave and went home.

Michael had released with mental sigh when she didn't take himba complete idiot. "I'm doing exceedingly beatific today. Thank you for asking" he said giving a nice, but weird smile. He knew he was gonna have to cut down his vocabulary as he usually scared most people off with it.

"So who are you waiting for?" he asked trying to make eye contact, but felt the urge to keep dozing off and looking in other directions. Anybody could tell that Michael was extremely nervous as he didn't exactly try to hide it.

@Mystical Dreamer

"I've been thinking about skipping honestly. I have a lot of work this summer especially since I'll be going to Harvard" he said proudly as not many could say that they were going to a school like that.

"But my parents are making me go since I need to become more social with other people" he said semi aggravated as it sounded lame that he still listens to his parents like that.
