atural born psycho and egotistical maniac, Damien has always exhibited power-hungry behaviour. When he was younger he was manipulative and evil, started fights between people and always escaped repercussions. The few people he's coaxed into being his close friends have quickly left once they realized his only priority was himself. It wasn't unusual that he'd left them with a crushed social standing and personal respect, either.

There was never a time where Damien wasn't a twisted, narcissistic individual with a God complex either. It has only devolved from an ambitious rise above all other to a aimless destructive campaign, and once that facade fell he left all things like social tact or care behind him. Though his first imperssion might have him seem like a complete lunatic, he is both cunning and prudent. Now he allows his actions to speak for themselves, whatever message they may leave.

Backstory
There was never a chance for his parents to control him, but all things considered they didn't help either.

Damien was born with an edge, a physical form of proof that people are not created equal. He seemed a bit faster, a bit stronger, and just a bit smarter than all the other kids at his age. There wasn't a physical competition he wouldn't win, and no mental ones were he wouldn't score well. It started off small, but he was soon competing (and winning) against kids far above his age in multiple sports. The little boy just never seemed to run out of energy, never seemed to waver at all. All the while he was receiving praise from his parents, his teachers and his relatives, but never anything other than an angry glare from his siblings or his classmates.

He was convinced he was everything and more; God's gift to the earth, so to speak. His odd behaviour was apparent, but his parents were too proud to let the opinions of others cloud the impeccable image of their child. Even when the dead animals started turning up. Other people were worth nothing to him, but animals? Savage, dirty creatures. They didn't have a right to existing in the first place, they deserved to die.

But this wasn't a story of how Damien grew up to be a corporate CEO and never have any lashback ever. Rather, when he was 13 the divide between himself and his fellow athletes' abilities showed too much. It was apparent that it was unnatural, and to his great dismay he was then excluded from participating in any official tournaments.

Damien was born with the supernatural power of regeneration. His muscles grew faster, his body became stronger, his body's immunities were one-of-a-kind, and most importantly he'd never felt fatigued in his entire life. Small cuts and wounds sealed up fast, and that was funny way for his father to find out about his mother's infidelity. It put his entire family on edge, and soon broke it when it turned out that Damien had killed a few of the neighborhood's pets.

Under pressure from all those that hated him, he was sent out to live with his uncle as an option to visiting a psychiatrist. His uncle, mind you, who was the only person that Damien had ever looked up to or at the very least considered equal. He was a former star-athlete, and the only person Damien knew that could even challenge him. The divide was small by now, but it allowed for him to relate to a single person in the world.

At this point he hated people, and the only friends he made were of a less straight-edge demeanour. Crime was intriguing to him, seeing as he hardly conformed to any rules as it was. People with powers just like himself were few, condemned and often persecuted, giving him a people to relate to despite their lack of worth in his eyes. Of course, it wouldn't stay that way for long.

Without getting into the emotional side, let's just say that his uncle didn't live in the safest of areas. One day he attempted to protect himself from a robber that unfortunately had powers. Things went wrong fast, and it lead to his death. That's when Damien didn't care anymore. He found and murdered the robber, then continued to live a life of crime beneath the surface, only truly searching for a way to get revenge at the world.

Anything Else?

L
ike the sick individual he is, Damien truly earned the nickname "Fester" within his network of criminals. He considered ways of maximizing the lethality of his abilities, and found at that his regeneration was perfect for making him an unaffected carrier of diseases. It isn't perfect, the amalgam of diseases is the reason for his irregularly bleeding and pale skin. It will give him a premature death, but he honestly doesn't mind since the improvement is that physical contact with him can lead to incredibly serious consequences without medical aid.

Laurel Bay

Nickname: N/A

Age: 15

Gender: Female

Sexual Preference: Pansexual

Moral Standing: She is strongly against powers, seeing as most thieves and criminals have them.

Relationship Status: Single

Address: 10208 Dogwood Lane

Pet Peeve: Halfway sharpened pencils

Personality: Laurel is an outspoken person; sarcastic, but still polite. She is an outstanding fighter, extremely persuasive, terribly clever, and seems to have a very bad case of sticky fingers. She is perfectly capable of handling herself and a few others at once. She really likes cats, too.

Backstory: Laurel was born and raised in the normal house she lives in now. She never knew her mother, and she also has a brother and a sister, both younger than her. She loved them to death, but they got on her nerves. One day she up and left, and didn't come back for a week. When she did, she was only punished for her actions, so she has now developed a habit of leaving when she wants to, and her family doesn't really acknowledge it anymore. Her family lets her get away with just about everything these days; they're all kind of tired of the way she's been acting. Her friends know something's up, but she won't tell.

Other: She has a power, but she doesn't know what it is, or that she has it, to be precise.

Name: Natalie Cross
Nickname: N/A
Age: 22
Gender: Female
Sexual Preference: Straight
Moral Standing: Normal
Address: 1422 Angle Blvd.
Personality: On the outside she's quiet and timid, but on occasions when she notices something wrong she can muster up the courage to stand up for herself or others. Once you get to know her you'll find she's easily excitable and sees the wonder in a lot of the world. Though with her observant eyes she also notices the more cruel and cynical portions of life, which can consume her if she isn't careful. Natalie doesn't consider herself to be anything important; she's just a normal human.
Pet Peeve: Arrogant People, People who turn their backs on who they really are, and people who don't look at the person when they're talking.
Backstory: Natalie had an average life: schooling, happy parents, and enough money to live a comfortable life. She could still remember the first day her parents told her about the inhuman people. It was before her first day of kindergarten. They took excessive precautions in not stating exactly what they were, but told her "Everyone has there own special thing that makes them unique. Remember just because they aren't like you doesn't mean they don't feel the same things you do." Young Natalie at the time nodded her head, though not fully grasping what her parents were rambling about. The only thing that really stuck in her mind was a question. "Am I special?" She never asked, but assumed the actions people took were better representations of their opinions. As Natalie grew up she was kind to everyone, respecting their differences, but never really getting to know anyone. It was a double edged sword; she never got bullied, but she didn't have friends either. Even though she was completely human, she was convinced her super power was being invisible.
Relationship Status: Single Pringle
Anything Else? She works at a coffee shop, trying to get a start on her student loans.

en is an easy-going confident photographer. He was raised on shaky grounds, but once that solved itself he learned to have a curious but rational outlook on life. With the freedom of a wealthy family he's always been able to do a little of whatever he wants to, which has allowed him to do a lot of creative work in his life. The small house he lives in at whitewall regularly sees a lot of his friends and family coming through on occasion, and though clean and tidy has very many rooms with ambitious art and photography projects splayed out over the walls, ceiling and floor.

Despite his unliking for prejudice and so forth, he still has a very hard time trusting people with powers. Instilled by his mother since his young childhood, he fears them somewhat, and fear breeds hate.

Backstory
Imagine someone named Eden who wasn't raised in a christian home. Do you see it? Well then, you'd be looking at Eden. The story begins 22 years ago. Eden's mother, one Elizabeth Carter, married immediately out of college with a rich businessman, Walter Roche, too carried away by his work to ever really pay much attention to what was going on inside of his own home. Since he essentially put her through school, Elizabeth, whose romantic flame wore out years ago, felt like she owed him something. That's where Eden, Shiloh and Zion came along.

Eden was the eldest son, Shiloh the eldest daughter and then finally Zion, the youngest son; at the beginning of this story, four, three and one year old respectively. As the eldest, Eden was quickly forced to start taking responsibilities for his younger siblings despite barely being able to take care of himself. Elizabeth had her heart in the right place, but was far too young and naïve to take care of all these children on her own, and Walter was barely ever around during the first few years. Eventually Elizabeth took to drinking just to calm her nerves, and this innevitably lead to an unfortunate alcoholism.

Luckily for the young, Walter had a change of heart and left most of workplace responsibilities behind him and only then did he realize the damage he'd caused. When Eden turned seven his parents had a divorce, and because of her addiction all the kids remained with their father. Honestly, he didn't mind. Despite his mother being a loving woman, he always got much better along with his father despite his absence. Only a few values still remain from his christian mother's involvement, and one of those are the untrusting attitude towards those with powers.

School never turned into an issue for any of the kids. Eden had a suave way of handling things and was always very popular, and nobody ever bothered his younger siblings either. Private tutors were easily affordable and Walter was incredibly supportive of all his kid's ambitions. Zion wanted to be a musician, Shiloh wanted to become a freelance journalist, and Eden wanted to become a professional hunter and freelance photographer, an interest that he'd actually picked up after following his father on a few hunting trips.

Most of the hunting exams and licenses are easy enough to attain, so instead Eden has been spending his last few years taking college classes on photography in a new town he moved to.
