Subject Omega

Appearance:

A black silhouette of what appears to be a young boy, though it is difficult to accurately view the being due to its nature.

Power:

Absolute Destruction

Description:

The subject is able to appear and vanish without leaving a trace of where it has come from or gone to. It radiates destruction from its body, instantly killing any living thing for hundreds of feet and breaking apart solid material easily. That is seemingly passive, without the subject having to do anything. When the subject does turn its attention towards destroying a target the exact methods vary, but the end result is always the complete destruction of the target. Unlike subject displays willful control over a wide range of abilities, ranging from moving objects without contact to spontaneous combustion to liquefaction and even the creation of what is believed to have been a localized black hole in one instance. No conventional weapon thus far has been able to so much as contact the subject, all being destroyed or redirected to cause further destruction. It is considered proper procedure to assume Omega is able to fully utilize every ability displayed by the survivors, at the very least.

The Shanghai Devastation:

It is common knowledge that Shanghai was the first location to be destroyed by Omega. Less commonly talked about though is how the subject did not immediately begin destroying the city after appearing there. For at least two hours it was recorded standing motionless in the air, occasionally disappearing only to reappear an instant later, as if flickering in and out of existence. This behavior has not been explained and nothing similar has been observed since.

The Chinese military was able to react to the attack before the subject had disappeared, and this was the first display of how ineffective common weaponry was against the subject. The forces that encountered Omega were completely killed without so much as hindering it. There was talk of using a nuclear weapon against the subject, but before a decision was reached Omega simply vanished without a trace.
