Before filling out a character sheet, please pass your character ideas, race, and what not by me so you don't spend all the time working on one to get rejected. That being said, I have the right as a GM to refuse any characters that I feel don't belong. Use of a template is semi-mandatory unless you can use BBCode yourself. Just have all the required fields filled in.

Weight: 111 lbs (Light af, I'm aware, but the chick's basically made of air xD)
Hair: Pure white, long and straight. It seems to sway in the wind just slightly, even where there is no wind.

Magical Ability: Natural grasp of Air Magic
Strengths: +Superb Agility: Able to move like the wind, granting her superior dexterity and speed to that of humans. This enhances everything from sleight of hand, to complex feats of acrobatics, to..... more sexual applications of dexterity. (You never read that last part, dun worry about it.) She can also run faster than the average human. For obvious reasons, Air Genasi have been banned from competing in human major league sports of any kind, as well as disallowed from competing in the Olympic Games.
+Quick thinker: exceptionally sharp in terms of taking quick, well-thought-out and decisive action, able to do so in a fraction of the amount of time it takes humans to do the same.
+Iron Lungs: Being made of the very essence of Air, she is able to hold her breath indefinitely.
+Unbound by the earth: She is able to float through the air effortlessly and thus can move easily through any difficult terrain and reach high places others could not.
Weaknesses: -Weak Constitution: She is susceptible to greater damage from a direct attack than a human would receive
.-Being Trapped Underground: The longer she spends under the ground, a very unnatural place for her to be, she becomes weaker, and after about a month of this, she would die.
-Earth Magic: Prety self-explanatory. She will recieve rather devastating damage from earth magic spells.
-Poison: Any toxin that enters her body begins to taint her essence. She succumbs quicker to poisons and takes longer to recover from them than a human.

Personality: Very talkative, friendly and curious, she is not a woman easily brought down. She is confident and charismatic, and more often than not carefree. She is very kind and has a soft spot for, essentially, every other living being on the planet. That being said, she is prone to outbursts that unintentionally harm people rather thoroughly if she sees an act she considers heinous, which could be as small as one child calling another a name. She lives by her heart and does what it cosmpels her to do, causing her to live a rather chaotic, yet fulfilling life when not in the cockpit of an airplane. When she is on the job though, she is laser-focused and takes great pride in getting her passengers from a to be as safely and effeciently as possible
Mundane Skills: First Aid, navigation, aircraft/vehicle repair,
History: Like all elementals, she was not born to living parents but spawned from the forces of nature, emerging at full adulthood with full sentience and one directive: Protect nature. At first, she assumed that this meant that she was to preserve the wilds. However, as she wandered America in search of a way to fulfill her directive, she came across many seemingly unnatural places, slowly overtaking the wilds, and one day came upon a group of humans destroying a forest, taking down trees ruthlessly. She could feel the air losing a small amount of its life-sustaining power with each fallen tree. Her reaction to this scene would, unbeknownst to her, land her right in the middle of this society she felt obligated in this moment to fight against.


With mighty gusts of wind and lightning strikes called down, she drove the humans away in her anger. She stood guard over the protected part of the forest then, until she was apprehended by a group of humans who seemed to know her every weakness, and just he right way to incapacitate her. She was taken into the city, where she would soon be informed, by a rather friendly man, "how things work around here," in his words. Apparently, it wasn't uncommon for beings of her kind to act hostile at first. The man assured her, bending the truth here and there in all honesty, that he was leading an initiative to make the destruction of wildland less of an issure. However, he went on to say that human society thrives on taking natural resources and turning them into, in the businessman's own words, "something of benefit to everyone." Long story short, he was able to convince her to not fight against society but to try to become a part of it, and in doing so he promised her that she could help steer humanity in a better direction. She was skepitcal, but agreed, just to stave off the confusion she felt and have something to strive for, anything at all. He left her with a talent agency of sorts that specialized in finding careers suited to the natural talents and needs of beings such as Maaki, and she never saw the man again.

The talent agency, which taught her everything she needed from social skills to computer skills, eventually matched her up with a career in aviation. When she was told she could help humans to fly, and see the skies up close and personal every day, it felt like she had found her true calling, and that that voice in her head when she woke was simply telling her one way to live her life, one option. The city invested in her and granted her all the funds she needed to pay her way through college, as they knew that an air elemental pilot would be a huge boon for the city'scommercial airline. As the years went on, she threw herself single-mindedly into her studies. Quite a few of the men she met in college and elsewhere seemed to have great interest in her , but she found herself socializing the most with women. In the Talent agency, the people that had helped her the most were all female. So, she grew an attachment to the female persuasion that spawned from a motherly nature yet morphed over time to an attracton of a sexual nature as Ni began awakening to her sentience the more she lived among humans, mingling with them.

Still living in a small apartment, though a rather nice one, Ni lives for flying, as well as mingling with people all over the world when she has time to kill during trips to and from different destinations. She's lived a rather carefree life so far, oblivious to the happenings of the world around her for the most part. More than likely, however, that was about to change.

Sloane Shields

Appearance: Sloane appears to be in her mid to late twenties, despite being on her way to forty. Her pale green eyes stand out the most: although mostly a dull green, flecks of deeper emerald and gold dot the irises. She tends to wear dark eyeliner and eye shadow that compliments the color. Sloane’s skin is dark brown in contrast, and she wears make up to accent her high cheekbones. Her dreadlocks are dark brown–nearly black–in color and are styled like an undercut with both sides shaved close to her scalp. The dreads themselves sometimes lazily drape to one side to the other, are tied back behind her neck, or styled up in a bun of sorts. She walks with a tall, confident demeanor and tends to wear a combination of tight pants and layered tanktops to show off her tattoo sleeves. Toned arms and legs stretch far, emphasizing her height and slimness–high heels help, too. She also has tattoos behind her ear, neck, on her back and legs, hips, below her chest, and..elsewhere. Said tattoos include but are not limited to her zodiac sign, favorite quote, a semi-colon, and tribal designs.

Hair: Dark brown dreadlocks that fall to her waist when left down. She usually wears them up.
Eyes: Round and strikingly pale green with flecks of gold.

Body Modifications: When it comes to jewelry, she has small gauges in her ears and long necklaces that dangle over her chest. She’ll sometimes have thick bracelets and rings on, as well. Sloane has a variety of tattoos, but the following are most notable: a tree of life on the back of her neck that has roots that extend down to her back tattoos. This tattoo is what gives her extended life. On the inside of her arm, she has “seize the night” scripted in Latin: carpe noctem. It allows her to read and speak Latin fluently and was one of her first tattoos.

Weapon: She doesn't have any weapons besides what you'd find in a stocked kitchen.
Magical Ability: As a mage, Sloane has powerful magic. However, she is limited to enchanting items in the physical world. Examples include her enchanted ink and enchanting jewelry or stones.
Strengths:

+ Sloane is one of few mages without an object to channel her magic through, being from a long line of magic users and practiced for thirty years.
+ She’s conscious of what she eats and frequently works out; while she doesn’t focus on strength, she is fit and excels in endurance. Being in good shape allows her magic to grow stronger, too.
+ She's ambitious and goal orientated, making her a very driven individual with a forceful personality.
+ Street smart and perceptive, Sloane tends to know what to say and do to wiggle her way out of trouble
Weaknesses:
- She might be a witch, but her body is fundamentally human and she bleeds just like everyone else. Her magic is affected by her state of mind and body, as well, so being sick or severely injured will weaken her.
- Her magic is limited to material things through enchantment, so she cannot use her magic to attack a person directly. She cannot make things levitate or read minds. She must give her magic a physical form in order for it to work.
- In regards to the magic tattoos, if they’re badly damaged or removed the magic will stop working as well.
- Not very intelligent in the book smart sense: she never finished high school and learns with her hands, not through books
- Independent to a fault, she has trouble relying on others even when it might benefit her. Working as a team is something she has no idea how to do.
Personality: When it comes to people, she can come off polite enough, though she’s rather blasé behind the smiles. She’s far more interested in art and animals and magic, but she recognizes the importance and usefulness in others if she thinks them strong. Still, when her mood is soured, she can be sadistic and cruel to those she feel has wronged her–though, at times, she finds herself acting pointlessly cruel sometimes out of impatience or defensiveness. Needless to say, Sloane tends to look out for herself before others. Sloane is also extremely ambitious and driven internally, creating an independent businesswoman and strong personality that may intimidate others. However, she can easily bond with another over similar interests. If a person does become close to Sloane, they will find she can be surprisingly easy going and has a relaxed sense of humor.

Mundane Skills: Average chef, makes excellent tea, violin, sketching and drawing, athleticism

History: Sloane was born to a long line of mages from her father's side. Her mother, however, was only human, which was a strange choice for the pure bloodline. When her grandmother passed, her grandfather was brought into the home to live with the three of them. He was a kind and powerful mage, having no problem with Sloane's mother like her grandmother did, and the primary mentor for Sloane. Her father, on the other hand, had a tendency to reject his magical abilities and never grew close to Sloane for reasons unbeknownst to her still. Regardless, thanks to her parents, she received regular ol' human education and attended public school growing up.

Although characterized early on as one of the creepy goth kids, she was surprised to have herself a high school sweetheart by sophomore year. They met in Latin and were tragically failing before Sloane let the boy in on her secret: she was a mage and she'd have a solution for the both of them. This is the origin of her interest in tattoos and magic tattoos, where she created the ink imbued with translation magic on her "carpe noctem" tattoo. The boy, Winston, was given a matching one, allowing them both to read and speak Latin--therefore passing the class.

Despite Sloane being a creepy goth girl and Winston moving up in his career as high school jock, they became inseparable. Sloane became Lo to him and Winston became Winny to her. Maybe it was love, maybe they were too young to fully appreciate what the word meant, but whatever it was lead to pregnancy. Despite the times, both parents were caring and supportive of the young couple. Both Sloane and Winston started working and putting off extracurriculars they enjoyed--this meant missing out on some magic, violin, and art lessons for Sloane. While difficult at the time, they took comfort in each other and their families.

Suddenly, tragedy struck: late into Sloane's pregnancy, Winston died in an accident returning from work late one night. Devastated, Sloane lost a lot of her will toward the end: she lost weight that she should've been gaining, her grades finally dropped under the stress, and grew unsure of herself. Without Winston, she decided she could not keep the baby when born, so she was adopted by another family. That was the fist disappointment to her parents and grandfather, but they were sympathetic and understanding. The second disappointment was her choice to drop out of high school to work instead, as her grades hadn't really improved since that tragic junior year. In addition, she was dabbling in minor drugs and picking fights with anyone who looked at her funny.

Soon after that, her grandfather passed and left with Sloane a variety of books and tomes of the family's magic history her father didn't quite appreciate. Saddened further, Sloane picked up an apprenticeship with a tattoo artist far away from that town. At first, she maintained that mean, rebellious streak. However, the artist she studied under made it clear that she'd have to kick her ass into gear if she wanted to make a name for herself in the industry. So, over time, Sloane settled and dove into her studies--both magic and ink.

She quickly progressed as a tattoo artist, becoming a rising star among in the industry. As a witch, she grew more and more curious about the spells left in her grandfather's collection. Every now and again, there was a failed or incomplete recipe for immortality--and thinking back on all the death and sadness in her life, mortality was a scary and tragic thing for Sloane. While it began as just an inkling, her goal for immortality grew with her skills as a tattoo artist.

It wasn't until ten years ago--when she opened her own tattoo parlor and named it Ink Shields--that she put into practice her attempt for immorality. She created a special kind of tattoo ink imbued with magic: linked to the tree of life tattoo on her back, any tattoo given to a client with the ink would slowly drain their life force and give it to her no matter the distance between them. As Sloane began to feel its effects (such as noticing her aging slowed and she felt much more rejuvenated), she began to improve her living habits, as well. She became aggressively straight edge, cutting out even alcohol from her diet, and took up daily exercise. Confirming through her predecessors' notes, maintaining a healthy lifestyle made her a stronger witch altogether.

While slow, this has been Sloane's life for the past ten years: she is still searching for a permanent solution for immortality as the life draining technique only slows her crawl toward death. In addition, she lives in a loft above her parlor, Ink Shields, giving her easy access to potential victims. With over ten years of experience, she has grown to be a well known and respected tattoo artist. She tends to keep her magic quiet, but humans who find out that she is a mage often inquire about magic tattoos. As a result, she offers enchanted tattoos at a steep price, promising effects such as better luck, better immune systems, better athletic ability, more attractiveness, etc.

Bjorn Stonehammer

Occupation: Auto Mechanic

Height: 4' 5"
Weight: 200.lbs
Hair: Long golden blonde hair that flows from the top of the head to the beard. The beard is long, covering the neck and resting just on the chest.
Eyes: Hazel
Build: Short and stout, muscular frame with thick arms and legs.
Complexion: Slightly dark complexion, usually covered up with some sort of dirt or grime.

Unusual Marks: A few old scars from his younger days on his hands.
Body Modifications: Bjorn's right arm has a tattoo of his families crest on it. He also has a few more modern tattoos on his left wrist and back.


Weapon: On a normal day, Bjorn does not carry his weapon with him. But he does have a family hammer that he brought with him to america.
Magical Ability: None
Strengths:

  • Physical Strength: Bjorn has kept himself in peak physical condition with constantly working. Thus, he is at peak dwarven strength, which is about the same as a heavy weight champion for humans. Outside of his normal work day, he will use the weight equipment in his shop to keep himself in top form.
  • Dwarven Endurance: A hardy, and robust people, Bjorn's dwarven lineage grants him an endurance that is rarely found in some of the other races. Used to working forges, climbing mountains, and delving into the deepest caves on the planet, Bjorn's peak physical condition makes him incredibly resilient to hard work, weather conditions, fighting and of course, drinking.
  • Deepest Depths: Dwarves, are just about the most loyal companion you can have with you in most scenarios. Their friendships are as long and deep as the cavern of the mountains they lived in. Bjorn is no exception to this. He is a loyal and trustworthy friend, whom you can always count on to have your back in a tight spot.
  • Ancient Artisan: Bjorn brought with him the knowlage and passion of his father, and his fathers father for crafting metals. He is well versed in the manipulation of metals and their abilities under stress, which has proved him well in his line of work. Though not needed on a regular basis as it was in the past, Bjorn does occasionally work on small projects of shields, swords, hammers, and armor pieces in the small forge in his shops forge. Though, most of the time it is people looking for hand crafted objects for "larping" and decorative pieces.
Weaknesses:
  • The Stubbornness of Dwarves: Probably one of the most defining traits of all Dwarves is their stubbornness. As unwilling to bend as the steel they forge, Bjorn is a very proud and strong nature dwarf. So getting him to do something that he does not want to, is damn near impossible.
  • Dumb as rocks: Bjorn is not "dumb". In fact, it takes a great deal of precise measurements and techniques to craft steel and work as a mechanic. However, if the subject deviates from either of those two subjects to far, Bjorn will likely not have much valuable input. Wisdom, is not his forte, so don't expect advice on anything to complex.
  • The Drink: probably the most effective weakness for any dwarf, is their love of alcohol. Bjorn loves beer, mead, whisky, rum....Basicly anything dangerous to alones liver. He does not consider himself and alcoholic, though what dwarf does. But he does enjoy a stiff cold drink any time, and lots of it.
  • Run forest!: While dwarves are indisputably strong, they are not the fastest in the world. Their low center of gravity, and shorter leg stature does not give them a great ability for running. Dangerous over short distances, should they need to get a long run in, it will likely take Bjorn a bit longer to run it. That's why he likes cars, less leg movement.
Other Skills: As an auto mechanic Bjorn is very familiar with internal combustion engines and how they work. He can take apart, clean, and resemble just about any engine he gets his hands on. As well as transmissions, body work, cooling systems, and a bit of the electrical work within the vehicle. As a preference, he likes diesel engines better but wont turn down a Prius that needs its oil changed.
Within his shop, he has a small forge set up for his blacksmithing and metal working. Sometimes he will use these skills on his customers cars, should they request something special.

Personality:
Bjorn is a bit of a typical/atypical dwarf. He is kind hearted and friendly to most people, finding very few reasons to actually dislike people. When he does get upset, he's much more rational about it. He has a strong resolve for what is wrong and what is right, which he acts on should the need arise. But blindly charging at a situation with impatience and rage does nothing but escalate things. So he tries to maintain a level head during situations, and make decision logically and justly.
The more typical dwarven traits that Bjorn hangs onto, are his love of craft and drink. Spending a great deal of time and effort into perfecting any project he is working one, he then loves to end his days either at his favorite bar, or at home with his wife enjoying a cold drink.
Mundane Skills: Blacksmith, metallurgy
History:
Bjorn was born in Edinburgh Scotland to his parents Hima and Born. His father owned his own gunsmithing business, while his mother was a teacher at the local grade school teaching history. He was the 4th child of 3 boys and 1 girl with the oldest 10 and the youngest 2, so things within the home could get tight at times. But Born provided for his family no matter what with his business. A large part of this was thanks to Born's business partner Alinar Starym. Alinar was an elf that would frequent Born's shop and would help with the "business". Or so his father would tell him.

The two families were rather close. A widower, Alinar would bring his only daughter Ara over to the shop when he was there, so that she could interact with Born's children while the two business partners worked. The young elf found quick friendship in Bjorn and the two quickly formed a bond outside of the shop. During Bjorn's smithing lessons with his father, Ara would watch from the corner of the forge as the dwarves worked, very much interested in the art.

One day, when Bjorn was in his late 40's, he was working in the back forge when Ara came to him in a bit of a panic. She told Bjorn that she had overheard her father talking to someone on the phone about guns being shipped to a local organization who had been known for some recent large scale crimes. After looking into his paper work a bit more, she found that the guns that Born sold had been given to several large scale crime organizations in Europe. Bjorn trusted Ara, and the two confronted Born about the matter. Born went into a rage and told them that they had no idea what life was like and they were to young to understand. But Bjorn did understand, and told his father that he was done working for him. He left his fathers shop to his brothers and father, and even discontinued talking to his father all together for a time.

He took up a job at an auto mechanic's shop across town where he could work away from his family, but still see Ara. But when his mother and Ara showed up at the shop in tears one day, Bjorn did not have to guess at what had happened. His father shop had been attacked after a shipment of illegal guns went bad, killing Alinar in the process. The group showed up at the shop and killed Bjorn's father and two brothers before they were gunned down by police. The entire ordeal had left Ara, his mother and sister with nothing left but Bjorn.

When the smoke had settled, and the investigation's into both Bjorn and Ara's fathers had ended, the small family had little left. The small home that Bjorn and his family lived in was all that was all that hadn't been taken from them. So Bjorn purposed that they leave Scotland and all the bad memories behind and make a fresh start in America. Ara, who had nothing left after her fathers death, agreed to go with them to America. So the family left Scotland after selling the home. They used the money to buy a small home outside the city for Bjorn's mother and sister, while Bjorn bought a small place in the city closer to where he could find a job. Ara moved in with Bjorn, and within a year the pair were married.

Strengths:

Tess, like most Vampires, excels at living at night. Equipped with all the tools for the job like superior night vision, a basic form of heat tracking and a superior sense of smell to go with it

-Accelerated healing
Tess is able to regenerate from almost any wound, as long as her heart or brain isn't severely impacted by the injury. This process is accelerated by ingesting blood.

-Stealthy
Even though she doesn't really need it in a practical way, Tess is proficient in the art of stalking others and hiding from prying eyes. Usually just used in her silly pranks and not in an actual hunt

-Connections and Silver tongue
Looks can be deceiving as Tess is very well informed when it comes to what is transpiring in the supernatural community, many years on the road and her job as a Bartender lead her to spin her own little web of connections.
Couple that with a snarky attitude and a never-ending waterfall of words that leave her lips and you get yourself the number one gal when it comes to rumors and gossip.

Weaknesses:
-Sunlight is a real pain for vampires, inhibiting them from just walking the streets during the day without the proper precautions

Superior smell comes at a cost as strong scents like Garlic or other vile odors can really get to her

A double edged sword. Blood can really amp up her vampiric powers but indulging in it too often or in excessive amounts may lead to some rather nasty side effects.

-Wounds to the heart can incapacitate any vampire, and Tess is no exception

Tess doesn't like to be kept waiting or having to put up with a ton of regulation, usually resulting in her just disregarding any prior etiquette and doing things her way, or just outright pick a fight with others

Personality:
First thing one would notice about Tess is the toothy, crooked grin adorning her face most of the time. Some even say she maintains her fanged smile in her sleep. As a vampire one would think her to be a high-class femme fatale who only sips blood from crystal chalices.

But Tess is the complete opposite. Somewhat brash with an outgoing, really friendly attitude Tess is one of the most likable vampire one would meet, if she decides to leave the lair she calls home. She's extremely blunt in what she thinks, always telling her mind, even if it may be considered rude or inappropriate at times. Yet she does not actively try to hurt people, usually just teasing them or trying to get a cheap laugh out of them.
In the end Tess faces undeath in a cool stride, doing stuff she deems fun and not really forcing herself in doing things, making her really the worst kind of procrastinator. There's ALWAYS a tomorrow if you've got all eternity to yourself.
Getting extremely chummy with those she deems her friends and often abusing her vampiric powers for silly pranks or the occasional jumpscare Tess enjoys the company of mortals and other magical beings, sharing her own stories and always looking to make new friends...

Unless they're snobby or bossy people, then they instantly get a spot on her naughty list.

Mundane Skills: Entertainer; can play a few songs on the guitar and sing, although some would hesitate to call it that. Can't cook well, or at all. Has her own special brand of bloody Mary, which she mixes herself.
History:
Tess was born in the early 60's to an especially religious family of Irish descent. Her father left her family mere months after her birth, leaving her mother to provide for the two of them while leaving Tess mostly to her own devices, making her grow up to be self-sufficient but devoid of any motherly figure that could teach her a thing or two when it came to proper etiquette or responsibilities.

Spending her days doing the bare minimum of household and school work Tess had a ton of free time to dedicate to what she wanted. Not a single day repeating the activities of the past one as Tess surrounded herself with her own clique of friends, substituting her lack of family with one of her own. And just like any impressionable teen Tess was shaped by the time she lived in, the rebellious style of the 80's becoming her trademark as not a single concert or other event was left unvisited. Spending most of her time following the newest trends in music and style Tess would later find out that her youthful rebellion would actually come to last several decades.

One fateful night, at one of the greatest events she's ever been to, she met her match. Not sharing the details of her encounter with anyone as it resulted in her being turned in the middle of a concert, surrounded by the smell of teen spirit. She never tells of that night, only her best friends knowing that she never met her maker after that, being left to her own devices. Having to figure out her new existence on her own, and everything that came with it. It wasn't easy at first but after severing ties with her old life the Vampire set out to find her own place in the world. Following the traveling bands and feeding on the sites of their concerts while picking up a thing or two from stalking the artists, while simultaneously traveling the world and making friends wherever she went...Or just leaving people screaming in fear when they came to realize there was an actual bloodsucker stalking the shows.

But traveling and not being able to maintain her own close set of friends made Tess consider settling down when one of her older acquaintances. The British Vampire Oxford left her a letter, wanting to meet up again and refresh their old ties...
If only she had known what that'd entail.

Hair: His hair is short and primarily dark brown with bursts of yellow and purple thrown within. A flower grows at the back of his hair where it would end in normal cases. Ironically it is an aster flower that is clearly bloomed. It is a very dark purple with a bright yellow center.
Eyes: A ghastly shade of blue that instead of dilating and constricting, changes the amount of glowing that occurs. At a quick glance, it seems to resemble a pool of water. In the sun, it has "dryed" up. While in darker areas, it will expand.
Build: Aster has incredibly broad shoulders and a well-built torso and waist. He has an athletic build that most wouldn't assume given his small facial features. His legs and arms are well-toned as well. They lack a large volume, but have great definition. Granted that his spirit animal is the stag, his legs are more toned than any other body part.
Complexion: As a druid, Aster's skin tone changes along with the seasons. In the summer, he is darker. In the spring and fall, he is tan. In the winter, he is pale.

Unusual Marks: Aster is a druid, and therefore has nature growing on his body. While humans shave, he mows. He has several flowers growing on his body and a single vine that extends from his right nipple to his navel. The flowers are mainly Asters, and are the reason he was granted his name. When the mood is right, a rose or dandelion might grow as well.
Body Modifications: Aster's spirit animal is the stag, which he has tattooed on the top of both of his feet.

Weapon: Outside of work, he is unarmed. At work, he has a tazer and a small handgun.
Magical Ability: Aster has a small control over flora. Primarily, he can make vines extend and wrap around targets of his choice. While most druids have a plethora of abilities, Aster mainly uses his druid abilities for his physical well-being. He can commune with animals and nature, and has a great understanding of the natural world. This transcends to him being able to eat the proper foods and maintain a healthy athletic life.
Strengths:
+ Adaptive: Survival of the Fittest is a theory heavily understood by druids. The strongest will prevail while the weakest won't. For this reason, Druids are taught to be adaptive to be at the apex of the food chain. Aster was taught at a young age that he had to constantly evolve to keep his status. Moving from his upbringing as a druid to now a peacemaker is a prime example of his ability to adapt to new circumstances.
+ Quick-Thinker: Naturally, Aster has always been a quick thinker. He found himself always being the best at games growing up. He would find where everyone was hiding or win at video games that involved rapid decisions. This has helped him with his success in the Police Academy, where quick-thinking is desired.
+ Fast: The connection that druidism has to fauna has led Aster to learn how to be quick on his feet. Having the spirit animal of the stag allows him to channel its energy into speed. While the stag isn't the fastest creature, it is still quicker than the average man. On top of this, the ancestral energies that it possesses can empower his speed beyond that of an average stag.
+ Composed: Even in the craziest of situations, Aster can remain calm and focused. This allows him to assess the situation without being biased by fear or other emotions. His Police Academy training has reinforced this trait.
Weaknesses:
- Arrogant: If you argue with Aster, you better be ready for him never to cave in. Having been granted such a grandiose vision by the Mother Tree, he has become rather confident in his abilities. He has faith in himself to a point of no return and will argue with anyone who says otherwise. While he isn't a narcissist (yet), he's pretty close.
- Bad Stamina: Aster has never been able to run for long periods of time. He's a short distant runner and anything beyond that would be treacherous.
- Weak Stomach: Greasy foods get to Aster quickly. His body is used to eating clean. If he is ever poisoned or contracts a disease, he will have to be rushed to an emergency room. His chances of survival when it comes to these situations is significantly less than the average joe.
- Clumsy: Being unused to the unnatural city makes Aster a bit clumsy. At his old home, he was barefoot and walking on grass. Here, he is around carved stone and floors made from man made materials. This can be a problem during missions that involve strange surroundings. (In other words, don't let Aster near a factory.)
Other Skills: Granted his ability to commune with nature, he is a good tracker in natural settings. However, his tracking abilities are average in other settings.
The Deepest Parts
Personality: Aster is not used to the smooth talking city folk. He is blunt and commonly speaks his mind, even when nobody asked for it. His blunt attitude can commonly get him in trouble. Despite this, his bluntness can be a benefit. Anyone talking to him will always know where he is at. He may not always be the greatest team player, but with the right person, he will undoubtedly create good. Aster is also adventurous and willing to make extreme changes in his life at will. He won't be afraid of the future because of his arrogance and support from the Mother Tree. Instead, he will always run first and deal with the implications after. Kindness is present in Aster's heart. He is protective and cannot stand to see the weak bullied. His instincts will kick in during any situation where the person is being unfairly treated. At the same time, he won't help someone who won't help themselves. This is due to his belief in survival of the fittest.
Mundane Skills: He is great at gardening and taking care of animals. On top of this, he is good at alchemy that isn't for combat. He can create and craft potions for silly gimmicky effects.

History: Aster is the son of Deanne Snapdragon, the current owner of the well-known Mama Dee's Alchemy Emporium. They are one of the few small family owned alchemy stores that has yet to be taken over by new technology. It is common for druids to take on roles that involve nature in some way. Alchemy and gardening are the two most profitable for the nature races. Aster's entire family is involved in Mama Dee's Alchemy Emporium. His childhood was pretty pleasant. Nothing exciting ever happened. The druids are known to live peaceful lives with bliss. Everyone Aster knew enjoyed their quiet lifestyles. Aster, on the other hand, wanted adventure. As early as he could remember, he would love to leave the calm and tranquil forests to visit the constantly changing city. His family lived in the forests, but sold in the city. For Aster, this meant a chance to observe a new lifestyle. Every time he entered the city, there was something new there. Whether a novel building was erected or a new president was elected, there was always change.

When Aster finally bloomed and reached his age of rites, he journeyed along with the other youths to visit the Mother Tree. He touched the trunk of the Mother Tree and gained a vision. He saw himself with antlers protecting a group of deer. The Mother Tree granted him the guidance of a stag. He felt that the Mother Tree was correct in her judgement. He realized that he couldn't reach his full potential by being an alchemist. Instead, he needed to be a protector. For this reason, he decided to adventure to the city to live up to this prophecy. His mother, Deanne, was upset with him at first because she believed he would be abandoning the family business and taking up an unnatural job. Police work in the city was the complete opposite of the life that was lived in the forest. To convince his mother, he visited the Mother Tree with her. They asked for her guidance and were given a vision of rain fall. Deanna finally understood that living in the city would allow Aster to grow properly. Rainfall is a symbol of good fortune and personal growth in the druidic culture. While still conflicted on this decision, his mother could not doubt the Mother Tree's vision. She kissed her son goodbye and gave him enough money to attend the Police Academy.

At the Police Academy, Aster, with the Mother Tree's support, excelled. His overconfidence allowed him to train without fearing failure. Many people would be afraid during their first days at the Academy, but Aster was fearless. He did pretty well in class and graduated with honors. When he graduated, his mother and father were there to congratulate him. They wore their ceremonial garbs to his graduation. Aster was proud of his accomplishment and ready to take on the world. His graduation gift was a rabbit named Judy. This would serve as his companion in the upcoming days. Aster is now out of the academy and about to partake in his first mission.

Being of British heritage and having visited the colonies on numerous occasions Oxford knows the many wonders of nature and the effect they have on the body

Oxford is able to react to stimuli way faster than many mortal beings and can thus maneuver expertly through battle and other kinds of roughhousing

Unlike his sister in fangs, Oxford was able to enjoy a proper English upbringing, resulting in him knowing the etiquette required to be accepted in any high society

Weaknesses:

Oxford's usually calm demeanor can be easily shaken up by people who don't behave the way he wants them to around him, unprofessional approaches or people who get too chummy with him usually throw him off

Old habits die hard and Oxford is no exception, still having some old British values and manners that keep him from truly fitting in the modern world. Be it his outdated view on courtship or him not really getting the youngster's parties

Personality:
Always proper and polite, Oxford is truly the stereotypical old English gentleman. If you disregard him being almost two centuries old and a Bloodsucker to boot.
Oxford seems like he has, as Tess lovingly put it, a stick up his rear. Seemingly never finding time to truly relax and just wind down. There's never been a moment in his undying existence where he hasn't neatly tucked his clothes away or cleaned up after himself, often to his fellow vampires chagrin, always trying to make him show his more "human" side.

He's always on time and punctual, schedule and etiquette being extremely important to him. Valuing order and proper manners he's almost become the motherly figure for the group of vampires, being the only one who seemingly gets stuff done.
But even he has his weak moments, when caught off guard, usually by his biggest regret in his unlife, his underling Hollie. Showing that even he can show a warmer side to his being, even if it's one of utmost annoyance and pleading glances to get the young vampire off him.

Mundane Skills: Cooking, makes great tea, cleaning, still proficient with his old typewriter, knows how to treat a lot of injuries
History:
Heir to a wealthy family, with properties both in India and the new world Oxford couldn't have hoped for a better outlook in life. His future was already set, taking over his father's lands and inheriting his family's fortune. Yet it didn't stop the man who was not known as Oxford back then to study hard to impress his parents. Truly trying to make them proud of him so that they wouldn't regret having him inherit their fortune.

He travelled the colonies of the empire and the new world...Up until the year before he'd inherit his father's lands...One would think Malaria was the worst thing one could contract in one's adventures. But Oxford had contracted a severe case of Vampirism from one of his journeys, having fallen victim to a bloodsucker.

Only when he returned home did he notice himself changing, having thought the weeks he had spent in a tent, surrounded by shamans did cure him of his disease. The future his family had wanted to hand over to him denied by the fateful kiss of a vampire.
It struck him with grief, leaving his home behind with a heavy heart, heading for the new world to find a place in the land of the free.
And he did, applying everything he had learnt on his travels he got by....

Until the modern day rolled around.
And with it his biggest mistake. Turning a young lady of a mere 18 during a moment of weakness, drunk on the sweet taste of blood and unable to rationalize he committed to the task of raising an offspring...And it haunts him to his very day.
Hollie not showing any sign of wanting to leave his side as the Vampire had tried to compromise when moving in with an old acquaintance of his. Maybe now he could rid himself of his pesky offspring and pursue an actual unlife in the new world...

Other Form: Mara while in her natural form only has one extremely noticeable difference. That being the rather long, undeniable fish tail that extends from her waist down. Coated in black scales, it ends with a partially translucent fin that can let limited amounts of light filter through it. While appearing human, the woman losses a few inches of height with her lower-half having been replaced with the human variation of the appendage or in other words, a set of legs. In both forms, she has a thick head of moderately long black hair, a pale complexion, angular features with rounded edges, a tone, and a tone build. Yet along with this there is one flaw, her eyes are violet and quite clearly seen no matter which form she takes.

Weapon: Nothing necessarily, but her limited control over water might be able to help given the correct circumstances.
Magical Ability: Limit control over water magic.
Strengths:
  • Aquatic Nature - Being a siren comes with a few perks, such as being able to basically live underwater if the need arose.
  • Magical Student - Seeing as she didn't have her own racial talent available to her, she began to study water magic and has rather limited control over the substance.
  • Athletic - Being built to be constantly swimming and on the move, she is extremely athletic being able to both run and swim for rather long distances at a time.
  • Curious - Naturally wanting to learn more about the world around her, Mara always want to take in any information she comes across.
Weaknesses:
  • Part Fish - If the woman were to really push it, she can remain out of water for around the maximum 12 hours however she doesn't do this often. Along with this, most amounts of water would be able to trigger a transformation with is normally rather inconvenient.
  • Broken Voice - Due to distant human ancestry, she is unable to sing and use her voice to hypnotize others.
  • Bitter - Not being able to sing didn't give her the best childhood, leaving her rather bitter and not as social as others of her race.
  • Physically Inept - Not spending much time trying to hone her physical form, she doesn't posses much upper body strength. Her tail when transformed, however, is a much different story.
Other Skills: Rather intelligent.

Personality: First and foremost, Mara is an intelligent young woman. Interested in learning and retaining such information is a passion of hers. But, while this is true, this isn't the first thing people would notice as she is incredibly socially awkward even though she doesn't shy away from others' company. Her childhood left her a bit of a pessimist with a bitter outlook on life, even though that has been slowly fading away the past few years.
Mundane Skills: Can cook pretty amazing fish dishes.
History: Mara was born to a peculiar couple. Her parents were both sirens although both with vastly different views on the currently changing world. For the most part she lived with her mother within the city, going to a public school and doing what and child her age would. But during the summers, she would spend time with her father who was too set in his ways to be forced out of the nearby ocean. It wasn't a bad thing, per say, but it did make the couple noticeably distant even to the point where her mother secretly had begun dating again.

Throughout her childhood Mara was better off working alone or with anyone but members of her own race. The few times her mother had tried to get her to socialize with them, it had always turned sour seeing as she wasn't able to sing. This was seen as a huge flaw and essentially lead to harsh bullying, many considering she wasn't a real siren with rumors circulating that she was truly human. Upon entering high school it had gotten to the point where her mother pulled her out of school and settled with finishing up the remaining four years with her daughter via home schooling.

Word about this was quick to reach her father, the man soon feeling surprisingly guilty about not being there for his daughter and as she turned 18, asked her to come join him for a year or so to try and forget everything before she left for college. Seeing as it would be a refreshing change of scenery, she did. This is when she began to try dabbling within the magical arts, getting a pretty basic hold on water magic by the time the year was up and off to college she was.

Spending her time studying marine sciences and graduating in what felt like no time at all, the atmosphere had been much easier to deal with (minus the one time a professor had asked her to transform so the class could closely study the tail of a fish, in which she didn't take kindly too), seeing as most of her classmates and friends had been human of course.

Now, years later, she finds herself working at a local aquarium and sea rescue center, owning an apartment not far from the building nor the breach. She's content with her life as of right now, but it wouldn't take much to change that.

Her blue eyes are so pale, that all of the color seems to drain out of them when the light hits them just so. Every part of her appearance is made to attract men, from her hair to her body. The only way she can be distinguished from any other humanoid is the pair of inky black wings and tail that sway gracefully behind her.

Strengths:
-Charm/Seduction: Adriana is capable of using seduction or charm to accomplish her goals. However, it is only effective if the intended target is attracted to her first. Even if they do show attraction, her seduction doesn't place the target under her control. She can merely suggest and try to influence people's thoughts and behaviors, there is no guarantee the target will actually succumb to her influence.
-Manipulative: Since she is so good at playing with people's emotions, she is often able to get what she wants or wiggle out of trouble
-A good listener: It's shocking what people will tell you when the deed is done. Adriana simply listens and absorbs the information people tell her for future use.
-Enhanced strength and agility: As a demon, she is much faster and stronger than other mortals
Weaknesses:
-Acts on emotion: Since she acts on emotion, anyone who wins her heart has a considerable amount of control over her
-Open water: Adrianna can flail around for a few minutes. However, due to the anatomy of her wings, once they are waterlogged they act as dead weights. If she finds herself in deep water, there's a very good chance she will drown.
-Jealousy: Adriana can't stand competition. When someone shows interest in another woman, she gets incredibly jealous. She will stop at nothing to undermine and weaken her compition.
-Bronze: Like how silver weakens a werewolf, bronze will hurt her significantly

Personality: While Adriana seems wild and flirtatious, every move is extremely calculated. It's not uncommon for her to feign being confused or nervous in order to manipulate and get people to underestimate her. She will say or do anything to get men to fall for her and has no low when it comes to getting a perceived rival out of the way. Though she is a demon, she isn't inherently evil. She's much more self interested and cunning than cruel. While she isn't immune to anger, she often hides it under a layer of ice. As she remains hard and unflinching, she's also thinking of every way to retaliate at someone who's slighted her, real or imagined.

There is one part of Adriana that she keeps guarded fiercely. Succubi are capable of having true feelings for others. Once they develop these feelings, they are fiercely loyal and extremely vulnerable. To avoid being hurt or exploited, she often pushes away true relationships in favor for something purely physical. Although she would never show it outwardly, Adriana is often prone to extreme feelings of loneliness and isolation.

History: Adriana was turned by another succubus in hell, also known as Southern California. Luckily, there's no shortage of warm weather there, so her incubation period went quite smoothly. Within a few years, she had reached her mature form and began to strike out on her own. For a young succubus, the best place to prey for lusty men is the slimy underbelly of Los Angeles. At first, her attempts at seduction were clumsy and rushed, her only saving grace being her charming smile and a push-up bra. However, as she began to harness the full extent of her powers, Adriana became more skilled at her craft.

The problem was, the more she fed, the hungrier she became. Soon, Adriana found herself bouncing from one man to the next, feeding sometimes several times a day. Now, L.A. is a big city, but some things just seem to attract a lot of attention, especially when dozens of men are turning up corrupted in the morning. Soon, nobody would come near Adriana and as the weeks went by, she slowly started to starve. Desperate, hungry and violent, she would travel for miles just to fed once a week.

One evening, a handsome warlock happened upon a depressed, skinny blonde, wings clamped to her back. Unafraid, he approached her and introduced himself as Rex Santino, owner of the most exclusive gentlemen's club in the city and he had a proposition. Rex was willing to teach Adriana how to fed without corrupting souls and offer a place at the club, a feeding every day. In exchange, she would bring in more profits for him. Out of options and out of time, Adriana reluctantly agreed. For a few years, she lived the high life. She was showered with money, attention and all the men she wanted, while the club hit a record high in profits. However, it wasn't long before things got....complicated between Adriana and Rex. Truthfully, it was only a matter of time before Adriana tried to feed on Rex. The only problem was, real feelings were involved. For a while, he reciprocated, but like all good things, it never lasted. Within a few months, the warlock had ended their deal and Adriana was back on the streets again, blackballed from many social circles. Tired of her luck, she eventually packed up and moved east to New York.

It only took about a week for her to get settled. All it required was a smile, or a brush of the arm and Adriana was able to find a decent place to live and a job bar tending at a surprisingly nice bar. Since her move, she's been a little wary, not keen on starting over for a third time. So for now, she just keeps her head down, trying to make it through one day at a time.

History: Naya's parents had been trying for a baby for a long time when she finally came along. She was born a healthy baby to the couple in the French countryside. As she grew, she was extremely cherished as their only daughter and sometimes spoiled. When she was old enough to attend school, her commute to school was a long and boring one, and she was almost always dropped off by her father on his way to work in the city. Her mother owned and operated a small auto shop closer to home--the only one for kilometers. As a result, Naya knew how to change a tire before she even knew to drive and spent her days off school with her mother at the shop. She had a few friends at school, but not many in her hometown.

Into high school, both her parents were still working and spoiling her, but Naya was encouraged to work in order to build character and her resume. Choosing not to be around her parents all the time, she would have a couple part-time jobs throughout the rest of her teenage years: her first was at the small store and her second at the local bar in the area. Once she graduated high school, however, her father would be promoted and encouraged to travel to America. So, the family moved to a flashy city in America, and her mother retired. And Naya, dazzled by the big city, would work even harder in order to become an independent and glamorous city girl.

The life she chose ended up being not so glamours, but she still found happiness and took pride in her life choices. She attended a tech school until she graduated at twenty one, and then moved out of her parents' to get a job at the auto shop she works at now. However, she is still adjusting to a normal life alongside supernaturals. In a small countryside, there are not as many as there are in a large and diverse city, and she still finds herself taken off guard by some of the unique creatures. Her goals for the future are to be more comfortable with the world around her and become a master mechanic, maybe opening up her own in the countryside one day, just like her mother.

Other Form: Her other form takes the appearance of tree roots with her turning green and her body being covered by a dress of vines. Her eyes remain dark brown though her skin appears a tad lighter.

Weapon: Just like most shop owners in the city, she owns a gun just in case someone attempts to rob her. She can sometimes control her abilities to put them to sleep, but the gun is quicker.
Magical Ability: Limit Control over Plants. She can make plants grow at a much faster rate or even immediate as well as cross breed even the most difficult plants. Her problem is she can't control the growth sometimes and her plants can be quite unruly like overgrowing or even causing disasters, but small price to pay.

-Plant Generation - She can't always control what her vines do, our the outcome of what she creates, but she does have a skill in creating plants with just some soil and nearby water.



-Alchemist Student - More of a secret and done more on her own, she uses her plants to create healing remedies and not so healing remedies in hopes of one day making it as a doctor..

-Brute Strength - It might have something to do with being like a tree when in her true form, but she can knock a punch and sometimes hitting her can be painful for the other person.

-City Pollution - She can only stay out so long in that god forsaken atmosphere due to the constant pollution she runs into and being allergic to it. She will end up getting anemic and fainting if she isn't careful.




-Lack of Support - She has no family or friends to help support her in her financials, schooling or dreams so it leaves her a bit on the more overwhelmed and disadvantaged side of things..

Personality: Asha's most noticeable trait is her bad attitude and temper. She easily gets annoyed and angered by simple things, but she regrets them later. History:As an elemental, she was born alone and to herself. She was easily driven towards nature and the plants that surrounded her. She may of seemed like an adult in appearance, but her mind was simple and she was easily pulled in by the trickery of the world which lead to the meeting of her guardians that took her in.

Asha would consider herself one of the lucky ones and perhaps that is why, despite all the awful events, she stays so determined. She was taken in by her nature loving, slightly hippy like, parents when she was only two and has never known love quite like she did with them. They lived in a rather small, but homey, two bedroom apartment that resided right above their flowershop that they named "Ahldir's Touch". Honestly, Asha thought they were plant elements too due to their ability to cross breed and bring out the beauty in all they touched.

Though everything seemed so perfect, the small family had issues with a corporation set on destroying the little strip they lived on and building complexes. Their neighbor resented them for not agreeing as they wanted the money and a means to escape, but felt trapped by this plant loving family. The neighbor would constantly call false alarms and try and get them in trouble which was usually initiated by Asha losing control of her emotions. Still, Asha felt safe with her parents and wished to do more with her abilities and skills due to her mother being a retired nurse and telling her the many wonderful things that plants could do with a little bit of knowledge.

Asha dedicated her studies to becoming a doctor and had the full support of her parents who even introduced her to alchemy as a alternate form of study since they thought it was important you knew every way not just one.
Sadly, this happiness ended and her parents found themselves involved in a shooting that left her mother dead before they reached the hospital and her father remained in a coma. Her father died a few years later never having awoken from his coma. Asha blamed her inability to heal him and questioned if she could even be a doctor, though she continued to strive towards it. Asha continued to run her parent's shop as it was all they had and all she had to remember them.

She started doing illegal dealings with Drug dealers and alchemist in exchange for money for college. She still has to deal with her neighbor trying his hardest to get her removed from their strip due to petty revenge, but, thanks to Asha's abilities, she still hasn't been caught.

Allure - Being an Incubus Ethan has a controllable allure like the rest of his race that can be used to seduce and influence others.
Charming - His allure is only part of his success, as there ways to defend against it. That's why Ethan learned to use his naturally unnaturally attractiveness to his benefit in getting what he wanted.
Observant - Feeling the mood of a crowd and feeling the mood of a lover are surprisingly similar. At the very least they both helped train Ethan's capability to notice the small and subtle changes that occur in everyday life.
Agile - His lithe form plus his job helped Ethan build up his speed and reflexes.
Weaknesses:
Fickle - Part due to his race, part truly him. Either way, Ethan is extremely fickle when it comes to what attracts his attention, and because of this relationships with him, romantic or otherwise, tend to be short-lived.

Personality: Ethan has a bottomless hole in his chest that he can't seem to completely fill no matter what he tries. Because of this he is, in a word, selfish. The worst part of it all is that, more often than not, he uses his charm, and sometimes even blackmail, to accomplish this. History: Born to an Incubus and a Succubus, Ethan had a fairly normal childhood for one such as him. Of course he was as popular as you would think he would be, his infantile allure subtly but surely attracting others towards him, and through his parents encouragement to embrace the attention, although a large part was simply his own personality, Ethan found himself enjoying being in the spotlight no matter where he went. So as he traversed his younger years, he experimented in any activity that put him in the center of positive attention of large crowds, and quite quickly he stumbled upon music and then further into that, singing. Finding that he had an inherit talent for it he began practicing his craft far and wide, content in the knowledge that it would give him the attention that he so desired.

And for a while that was enough for him. But as he slowly coasted through his teens while getting accustomed to the mild affections of those who enjoyed his singing, as well as the benefits that came with that sort of fame, he started to crave even more. He wanted something more primal, something that was invigorating, blood pumping, dangerous... Something that was new. But the search was slow going as nothing could truly get his attention in the way he so basely craved. It was at this point that Ethan first noticed the hallow feeling that slowly encroached on his being whenever he wasn't basking in peoples attention, and a sense of desperation began to build as the shows he had started leaving him less and less fulfilled.

One night, in an attempt to alleviate his funk in through intimacy, Ethan headed out to a night club. Now, he had gone to clubs before, and had even once considered them as the possible solution to his never ending problem, but had thrown that idea away under the preconception that it simply wouldn't be enough. That night he was proved wrong. He watched in thinly concealed awe as the DJ playing that night worked the crowd into a frenzy of motion and carnal desire, and then just as effortlessly eased them into a slow passionate groove. Inspired by the masterful disc jockey, Ethan set out to learn the trade, fulled equally by a desperate longing to feel fulfilled and his desire to be the center of attention in increasingly different ways.

That was years past, and now Ethan works as a DJ in various nightclubs, manipulating the crowd just as easily as the DJ that first inspired him. And yet, even now that he achieved that source of primal attention on a regular basis, that empty feeling still lingers, and Ethan worries that one day what he's doing now won't be enough either and he'll have to resort to even more drastic measures.

Skilled voice: She has excellent control over her voice, being able to use different levels of power. She frequently employs the “weak” calming version to handle criminals and stop their assaults and/or escapes without having to use her weapon.

Nerves of steel: She’s been a cop for a while, and she’s seen a lot. It’s hard to faze her, especially considering she specializes in stopping violent criminals. She’s also used to people trying to touch while her under the effects of her singing, and though she will not tolerate it, she won’t freak out.

High stamina: Even though she does need to be in her true form sometimes, she has trained her body to stay human for long periods of time. She can go a day without serious consequence, though she will get rather irritable and snappy. In addition, she is capable of holding back a sudden transformation if she gets suddenly wet, such as in the rain. Again, she will get rather irritable.

Sense of honor: She became a cop so that she could help protect people, and she will always try to help people in need. She is also very dedicated to the law, and will not tolerate criminal behavior.

Weaknesses:
Sense of honor: This is also a weakness. She is a bit too dedicated to her sense of justice, which can make living in a crime-infested city hard. She can’t help everyone, especially while she’s doing a different job. If an innocent gets hurt under her watch, she will get very upset.

Pacifist: Though officers are supposed to use the least force necessary, she is reluctant to use force at all. She will always try to use her singing first, which usually works, but if it doesn’t, she is slow to pull her gun. She’d rather resolve every conflict nonviolently.

She is stern and serious while on duty and she takes no nonsense, particularly from her subordinates. If she’s in her human form for more than twelve to fourteen hours, she starts to get irritable and snappy, escalating until she is physically ill after about a day, occasionally until she too sick to function after two days, and only if she is in the middle of something major.

History: Cadenza was born in and grew up in Venice, Italy, in a surviving siren community. She grew up learning to use her powers to a fine degree. Though her childhood was uneventful and non-tragic, she still often found herself wanting to do more to help her community. It’s still a city, and there’s still crime. And her community has been the target of siren hunters for years, though they have kept themselves safe with the help of their beautiful voices and city police.

It was this experience, this relationship with the law that inspired Cadenza to go to the police academy. She did not attend police academy in Italy, though. She wanted to start fresh, away from the smelly and polluted canals of Venice. She moved to America in her mid twenties, and she worked to become a dual citizen. During that time, she worked part time in a florist shop during the day and as a waitress at night to pay her rent. It was hard going for a while, and though her family would occasionally send money, she had to work very hard to survive in the city. Eventually, once she passed her citizenship test, she was able to attend the police academy.

She graduated near the top of her class, and is now a fairly high ranked officer. She was able to upgrade to a somewhat nicer apartment, and though her job is dangerous, she would never dream of doing anything else. Her incredible voice allows her to easily subdue violent criminals nonviolently, and she is often assigned to missions involving violent and/or high risk criminals. Though she spent her time in the academy training her body to stay in human form for longer, both to serve better and to blend in more, she has a membership to the local swim club, which she tries to visit every week. They have a huge section dedicated to catering to sirens, and she is well known there. She is good at what she does, and she’s quite personable, so it’s only a matter of time before gets paired with a rookie to show them the ropes...

Build: Stocky? Its hard to tell under the layers of clothes. Though as an aside has unusually large hands with long dexterous fingers
Complexion: Pale tan but a bit mottled in places, some bits darker then others. Sometimes a shade of green pops up unexpectedly
Appearance: Taking scruffy to the next level its hard to tell what race or even "what" Charlie is. Aside from his long pointy nose, cheeky grin and small bright eyes he is a muddled mess. When required he wears pince nez glasses to read or deal with detailed work. He is often found wearing a large faded navy blue overcoat with layers upon layers of clothes, carrying around a jingling rucksack to whatever job he has at the time. The only thing that changes about him is that he likes to change hats. From boaters to bowlers it is wondered where he actually keeps all of these hats.
Unusual Marks: As a druid Charlie has some sort of flora always growing on him. His, whether it be a curse or a boon, are mushrooms. The only visibly seen are on his neck, Maitake growing in a tight bunch almost like gills. If you ask him he'll readily present a plethora of different mushrooms. Where on his body did he find them?
Body Modifications: There is a tattoo of a mole somewhere on his body. He'll never tell.

Weapon: He has a rucksack of tools at any given time. A well placed pipe wrench usually gets the job done
Magical Ability: As a druid he has some power over flora and fauna. His "unique" circumstance allows him to locate fungi and "read" it. From his "reading" he'll be able to gain a short history of events surrounding that area in a 20 ft radius. His spirit animal being a mole allows him excellent dark vision, a great sense of direction when below ground (tunnels, sewers, etc.), and some degree of earth manipulation (mostly digging holes).
Strengths:
True Survivor: Charlie is above all a survivor. His will to survive is so strong that no matter how shameless or cowardly he may appear he will use every means necessary to get out of a sticky situation.
Iron Stomach: His mushroom like constitution along with the detritivore nature of a Mole means he can consume most foods and materials. Rotted food is certainly not an issue.
Scavenger: Years of scrounging and foraging has given him a knack of finding odds and ends. If given some time Charlie will be able to find common or uncommon materials,components, and items.
Everyone knows Charlie: By no means is Charlie good looking, well kept, or even well spoken. Despite all this people take to him in some fashion; whether it be his affable nature or the strange funky sweet smell that he carries around everywhere Charlie can get along with most people.
Weaknesses:
Sunlight: Unlike most Druids Charlie doesn't do particularly do well in the sun. His eyes are incredibly sensitive to light and if possible will keep himself in low lit or dark areas.
Dry Skin: Even if he can survive most things the one thing he can't live with is being dry. If he is kept in a extremely dry situation, without any means to keep hydrated/moist, he will visibly begin to languish. He is utterly afraid of the Desert and is incredibly susceptible to fire.
Pigpen: As much as he is likable the nature of both being a Mushroom druid and a mole makes him incredibly dirty and odd (not bad) smelling at all time. With this particular trait he is not welcomed in any place with a high sense of decorum and within high society.
Oblivious: Charlie at times finds it hard to read the mood of a given situation. If missed social cues,veiled threats, or even sarcasm is thrown out at him he will unintentionally ignore it against his own self interest/survival.
Other Skills: From the odd-jobs he has picked up over the years Charlie has some experience in basic mechanics, salesmanship, clerical work, construction, cooking, and plumbing. He also has some knowledge of the surrounding flora and fauna of the area pertaining to his time foraging.

Personality: Saying that Charlie seems like a character out of time and more fitted to exist in a Norman Rockwell painting is not an exaggerated comment. Cheeky and affable he is a staunch optimist despite his downtrodden looks and attire. Though not socially adept Charlie is willing to give anybody or anything a friendly hello and conversation.
He can be off-putting at times with his little quirks; whether it be rummaging through garbage, sleeping on the sidewalk, or even eating a sandwich he pulled out of that same garbage can. Those who are not immediately repulsed or can tolerate this behavior find in him a loyal friend who can always help in a pinch.

History: As far as he knew it Charlie has always been an orphan. Growing up in the Midwest he had been shunted from foster home to foster home due to his irascible behavior and the constant need for medical attention due to "rashes" that never seemed to heal. By the time he had turned 15 and finally had enough of the last family he had been dumped upon is when he decided to skip town and strike out into the world. For a time spending his life drifting seemed to suit him just fine; hitching rides on trains, surviving off the land, and a bit of petty theft came fairly natural to him. It was only a few months before his birthday did things seemed to take a turn.
Charlie's dreams began to be filled with scenes of muffled clawing, a strange regal tree, freshly turned dirt, and the distinct smell of rot. Something in him was telling him to go East and after a week of the same dreams did he finally decided to heed it. As he traveled further East the rashes on his body seemed to be getting worse and worse and as time went on soon developed from flaky fungus like growths to full blown mushrooms.
After a month and a half of long travel did his feet lead him to the scene that had haunted his dreams. The great tree was more beautiful then he could imagine and Charlie could not help but marvel. As soon as he got close and touched it he received a vision of a hollow with a stump surrounded by mushrooms, surviving and providing life to all around it. This is when he knew the message that Mother Tree had provided him; a message of altruism. She then provided him with the guidance of a humble mole and a gained surname from his vision, Hollow. From there he had continued his journey with a new purpose in mind.
By the time he had arrived in The City Charlie Hollows, then age 20, had been surviving from town to town before eventually being driven out every time due to suspiciously affable nature combined with the appearance of a dirty fungal hobo. It was here he truly seemed to be accepted and soon thrived. By the time he had become 36 he had grown to be a part of the City being a well known Handyman and a man who knew where to find things in a pinch. His vast survival experience and knack for picking up skills on the job has become well valued and he has come to travel in various circles and dealings in the City. By the time his story continues his selfless nature and need to help may lead him down a more dangerous path.

Magical Ability: Iago channels his magic through a wand that doubles as a convenient knitting needle. He doesn’t do that much magic though since he’s a necromancer, and raising the dead isn’t that fun when you care about getting caught. The practicality of ghost whispering appeals to him but he hasn’t found the time to study it yet.
Strengths:
  • Mind Over Matter - Without distraction or if he cares enough, Iago can easily spend as much time as necessary to achieve his goals even at personal detriment. He’ll forget about food or sleep but if it means a new breakthrough in his studies, a longer duration in his spells, or solving the newest case, it’s worth the recuperation period.
  • Moral Malleability - Perhaps not everyone agrees, but he sees his willingness to break some rules as an advantage over his more straight edge peers. As long as it’s not too reprehensible, he gets his job done quickly and doesn’t even suffer from a guilty conscience when it’s all over.
  • Scholar and Scientist - Reading about something and then applying that knowledge later is how he learns. He’s willing to read or experiment anything but its practicality determines how long it’ll stay in his head. Hence why something like anatomy sticks but history doesn’t.
  • Unintentionally Unnerving - As long as he doesn’t open his mouth, he pulls off the creepy necromancer stereotype very well. It’s easy to see him as a sickly, brooding wizard because not only does he feel dead inside, but he looks it as well.
Weaknesses:
  • Awkward and Apathetic - In social interactions, Iago isn’t bumbling so much as he’s graceless. He’s callous, bringing up topics that have no place outside of a morgue, but the worst thing is that he doesn’t notice he’s ignoring social etiquette. In delicate situations where charm is necessary, he fails horribly.
  • Crummy Constitution - His habit of going without food or sleep has its consequences. His immune system isn’t the greatest and that sickly look of his sticks around regardless of how healthy he might be at the moment. Iago both eats and sleeps more than he should as if to store up his energy before the next “mind over matter” session.
  • Shamelessly Self-Serving - The thing about having a dubious morality is that everything Iago does is dependent on how much it’ll help him. He’s selfish and nonchalant about the people he might screw over for the sake of his own goals or something that intrigues him.
  • Weak as a Warlock - His kind isn’t known for being physically inept for nothing. He bruises easily and tires from physical work faster than his colleagues. Anything beyond lifting a dead body onto a table is out of his skillset.
Other Skills: Forensics, mortuary science, preliminary gun safety and first aid, some medical science.
Personality: If someone told Iago to describe himself in three words, he’d say whiny, tired, and hungry without a moment’s hesitation before shouldering past to take a nap in the morgue. He goes into conversations with intent and once that’s fulfilled, he rarely lingers. He’s not antisocial but his friends are people who took the initiative first and stuck around long enough for him to consider them “his.” Once that happens, his loyalty is unflagging and he’s willing to do anything he’d do for himself for them. He’s selfish but his idea of “self” is that it can be more than that, that it can be everything and everyone he considers his. He goes about his life quietly, not able to work up much of an interest in much even a new corpse, just as the nice enough but slightly unsettling assistant in the basement morgue.

History: Iago was born in the city, raised in it, and probably live to be murdered there too. His grandparents came from deadbeat, Brazil and their grandparents came from nowhere, Portugal and every single one of them were witches and warlocks. Most of them weren’t especially gifted, but they were useful in whatever they settled into. He was the same as his ancestors: not particularly powerful, but good all the same.

He was the fourth out of five children and the house he grew up in was always filled with the chaos of magic casually thrown about. It took ages to find his calling, his older sisters having him try their own types of magic to see if it clicked for him. It took his younger brother showing Iago ghost whispering for him to even consider the necromorphic school as a possibility. Covertly attempting a rudimentary spell on a dead bird, he sat back with the realization that he was going to be a necromancer. There was no doubt in his mind he wouldn’t become one, but it was the thought of saying, “Hi, I’m Iago Moreno and I’m pretty good at bringing the dead back to life for a little bit,” to people who didn’t know him that discomforted him. So he just never bothered.

He breezed along in academia without a purpose. He wanted his magic to aid him in his career because what was the point of it if it didn’t help him out? There just weren’t a lot of jobs where necromancy would be a boon. No jobs were worth considering anyway. This fugue continued up until college where he just took classes he was good at: chemistry, biology, anatomy, and other assorted advanced sciences. Halfway through his education, he realized he was already well into being overqualified for a job in a police department morgue. It wouldn’t be glamorous but it was better than nothing.

Iago wanted to go straight into getting his hands dirty, but the only open position he was suited for was a CSI assistant. For a year, he doggedly watched for openings down in the dead room. Over time, he adopted a cat, collected cacti, took up knitting and embroidery, and even started taking amateur photography as a hobby. It was the most bored he’d ever been in his life. His waiting paid off, though. The first several months were swamped with learning the ropes and dealing with new dead people, but he liked feeling useful.

Then somebody ran over his cat. He never learned who it was, being too devastated to identify them. Soon afterwards, he was already checking to see how put together she was and kept her body intact at work as he searched for a long term solution. As far as the law had a say in it, he needed to get over it; he’d had that cat since he graduated college, he wasn’t giving up on her so easily. He dug around in unsavory businesses, asking around for energy sources on the down low. The breakthrough came in the revelation of a magic generator. It had an expensive fee attached to it and he’d have to visit every several months to maintain it, but it would do the job. He agreed to it without so much as a blink.

Iago’s spent his life since then without much fuss. He’s typically lurking about in the shadows, quietly watching the proceedings or minding his own business. In his free time, he cuddles his cat, takes pictures for his Instagram, and knits things. There’s not much raising the dead in his life, but he’s still got a few decades left in him yet.

Strengths:
1. Self defense skills. She is excellent reaction timing, due to being mugged once coming home from work she knew she had to learn how to defend herself, so she took on learning to wield a pocket knife.

2. Very observant and aware of her surroundings, she is able to notice things "out of the ordinary".
3. She keeps her lips sealed when it comes to expressing her feelings. This can be a strength of hers because she is not easy to read. Because of this she can respond to situations with more of a level head.
4. She is very kind and humble. This is a strength when it comes to work because she tends to attract more customers.

1. Her flaw when it comes to self-defense is not being able to work with just her fists. She always has to have her pocket knife on her. She feels less confident in defending herself, therefore she remains helpless.

This is mainly because she is very studious when it comes to alchemy.

History: It was a small town that she had initially been raised in. At a young age Stella found herself growing up a bit too fast. By the time she was seven years old, her mother had just given birth to her twin sisters Ava and Stephanie. Being the oldest she had to help her mother take care of them, as her father was always at work. As she grew she found herself becoming more distant from her family, due to her sudden interest in Alchemy. Neither of her parents wanted her to practice "witch craft". Her parents were also very prejudice against the supernatural beings in the world around her. Stella however had a different mindset and saw nothing wrong with all the different races in the world. In fact she wished she could be a supernatural! But under her parents roof she was not allowed to associate with any of them. The only one that supported her decision to continue on the path of learning Alchemy as well as associate with supernatural beings, was her beloved grandmother, Maria. On the weekends or in some instances, late at night she would sneak over to her grandmother's house to practice her alchemy. She also met many of her grandmothers supernatural friends, and sometimes they would bring over their children so that they could play together.

Then her whole life changed when she turned seventeen. Her grandmother passed due to a mysterious infection. She was absolutely devastated. She knew that she would have to do everything in her power, to protect herself, since her grandmother Maria could not anymore. However her efforts to stay with her family would not last. Once her immediate family found out what she had been doing while visiting with her grandmother, they drove her to the city and kicked her to the curb. With nowhere to go she stayed homeless for five months. Surviving off scraps from the dumpsters to actually living inside one. This all happened until she found a job at a local flower shop. The owner of the shop who took a quick liking to Stella, due to their interest in alchemy as well as flowers ended up offering her a place to stay. After being mugged and living on the streets for what seemed like forever, she could not pass up the offer.

After four years of consecutively working at the same place, the flower shop owner eventually became like the parent she wished she had. Though he knew he had to let her go. So he did and let her move on and start her journey to becoming a somebody, instead of just the flower shop cashier. So now she resides in a small and simplistic downtown apartment near the tavern she works at. Even though she finds herself in a good place, she still finds herself wanting something more. A love interest perhaps? Or possibly just a friend that understands. At the end of the day she does not want to end up where she once was. Freezing on the curb with just the clothes on her back, where she had no one.

Weapon: She carries brass knuckles on a chain that she hangs from a belt loop. The piece is dark cast iron, and it’s usually hidden by whatever long shirt she’s wearing. Though she has practised using them, she isn’t very good in a fight.
Magical Ability: Necromorphic, specifically a master of ghost whispering (prefers to call it soul speaking).
Strengths:
Soul speaking: She has spent most of her life practicing necromorphic magic and she is an expert ghost whisperer. Her business is centered around contacting strangers, which is hard for most, but she’s made it work. She prefers to call it soul speaking since it’s a bit less spooky sounding to the customers.

Great memory: She has a great memory, especially for linking stories/knowledge to faces and items. She remembers every customer’s face, even if she doesn’t remember everyone’s names. She also remembers the story behind every single strange item on her shelves, left by various customers who no longer wanted them.

Empathetic: Though not magically attuned to the emotions of others like some are, she is very empathetic and will unconsciously match the mood of whoever she’s with.

Personable: She’s very good with people, and others tend to like her. She puts this to good use when trying to coax souls from the abyss to speak.


Weaknesses:
Emotional hoarder: She can’t help collecting items that have emotional value, even if the value is for other people. In her shop, the walls are lined with shelves full of such items, mostly innocuous. A lot of it is useless and broken, untouched for years, but she keeps them anyway.

Irreverent towards death: She has become so desensitized to death that she often forgets that most of her customers are in mourning. She is often cheery in the face of death, and many of her customers are a bit put off by how she handles death.

Sucker for a sob story: If you come to her with a sad look and a story about how your fiance died of cancer just before your wedding and you never got say a proper goodbye, or that your child was killed in a school shooting and you just want to tell them how brave they are, she’ll tear up and offer to give you a discount. If there weren’t so many people who want to speak to the dead and a lack of competition, she would have gone out of business years ago.

Squeamish: Though she works with souls and contacting the dead, she’s not used to looking at actual corpses. The souls always appear as shadow-like beings, not like actual dead people, after all. She gets easily sick to her stomach when she sees blood.
Physically weak: As a witch, her body is not strong. And she has always been fairly sickly, weakening her body further. She does try to exercise, though. She enjoys swimming.


Other Skills: She's fairly good with computers, a necessary skill for any small business owner. She's no hacker, but she can fix most of her own problems. She also has incredible control over her own power from her enforced training after an incident when she was young. She also has a lot of book learning, particularly about her craft.

Personality:
For a necromancer, she is surprisingly cheerful and bubbly. She’s bright and brings light into every room she enters. She’s also very emotional, and reacts strongly to situations. When she’s sad, she cries. When she’s mad, she screams and might try to break something. When she’s happy, she’ll laugh loudly and hug you. She can be a bit exhausting if you’re not used to her, but she’ll never try to hide her emotions. Most of the time, she’s upbeat. She’s curious and loves to hear stories, especially stories about people.

Her best friend, Ernest, is bound to a necklace and usually hangs out with her in the shop. He often speaks to her telepathically, and she responds aloud, which causes some people to think she’s not entirely right in the head. Knowing her eccentricities, people just go along with her when she tells them to call her Dare. She’s never liked her first name and prefers to use her initials. (Donna Ava Rachel Edwards).

History:
Donna was born into a family that did not like magic. Her mother was a witch but did not practice, and her father was human. Though her maternal grandmother was a powerful witch, they only visited her rarely to avoid the “infecting” her, as her parents put it. Donna was never sure why her parents didn’t like magic, and she tried to learn as much as she could on her own. One day, when she was ten years old, she met a boy named Ernest who was a warlock. He was kind of shy around other people, but he was open with her. They quickly became friends, as children are good at, and he helped teach her rudimentary magic. He was also the one to encourage her to use the nickname “Dare” instead of her real name, saying it fit her better.

As she grew older, her powers became somewhat volatile. She had no real outlet and no direction for her studies, and the magic demanded to be used. She spent a lot of time with Ernest in the graveyard, where they had met, and she always felt somehow comfortable there. Eventually, she would look back and realize it was because she was meant to be a necromancer. Throughout high school, teachers insisted she try to hone her naturally powerful magic, but her parent refused until she almost burned down the school in an accident involving her untrained powers. They pulled her out of school and hired tutors who could teach her both mundane academics and magical control.

As soon as she was old enough, she moved out to the city, away from her parents, to properly study magic. She figured out that she had an affinity for necromorphic magic mostly by accident, since her professors had begun just metaphorically throwing things at the wall to see what stuck. Everyone was surprised because of how bright and lively she was, except for Ernest, who had moved in with her a year after she left. Once she found her specialty, she threw herself wholeheartedly into her studies.

When she was twenty-two, in her last year of college, Ernest died. She won’t tell anyone how, but the few who knew him speculated sickness or suicide. The death of her best friend who was closer than family crushed her, and for a while she was like a completely different person, quiet, reserved and just...sad. Until she learned how to “bind” souls, that is. It was a spell she found in an old, long forgotten book on the library shelf that allowed her to link a soul in the abyss to an object in the real world. She did a bit more searching and learning and eventually managed to bind Ernest’s soul to the necklace he’d given her as a going-away present when she moved to the city. Now, Ernest spends as much time as possible with her, hanging out and occasionally even helping out by finding newer souls that have just entered the abyss, as these were often the ones that people want to speak to.

Almost as soon as she graduated, she opened her shop, “Dare to Reminisce,” where people could have her summon the souls of their deceased loved ones and talk to them for a price. She loves her job, and even though she’s a bit strange to most people and she has an odd view of death, she still does well for herself.

Strengths:
+Incredible Strength: Being the size that he is, Bovil can easily lift people and animals up like ragdolls and swing them around.

+Speed: Something about having four hooves and the lower half of a horse just kinda makes you think that Bovil can move pretty quickly if he really needs too.

+Stamina: Being that he's been running and running for years upon years can really build up your stamina. Bovil can run for a good while before he needs to slow down a bit.

+Strategist: Bovil has been hunting since he was a child, he knows how to formulate a plan in order to get his next meal.

Weaknesses:
-Large back: Being a centaur, Bovil has a massive back-side that usually leaves him wide open. If someone really wanted to, they could sneak up on him and jump straight onto his back without him even noticing.

-Large target: When throwing things at Bovil, it's pretty hard to miss. He's so large that a good portion of the time, it will end up hitting him.

-Tight/low hanging environments and stairs: These are things Bovil cannot traverse in. His hooves simply hate stairs and because of his height, he cannot fit in certain areas without having the duck down or take the long way around.

-Protectiveness: Bovil can be very protective of people, sometimes not even thinking about what could possibly happen to himself. This can be a serious problem if he goes up against a person he hasn't met before or ends up putting his life in serious danger.

Other Skills: Great hunter and tracker along with some basic first-aid skills and skinning.
Personality: Bovil is a good guy at heart. He loves to talk with people and meet new friends. To him, everyone deserves to be treated with the exact same respect regardless of sex or race. He is very open-minded and very welcome to many other traditions and lifestyles. Anyone who is stupid enough to set him off is gonna be stuck dealing with one dangerous centaur though. When mad, Bovil is more than happy to throat slam someone in the nearest wall if they really start pushing his buttons or threaten the ones he holds dear. Best to keep this big guy happy....if you know what's good for you.

History: Bovil was born into a pretty normal centaur family, he had a mom and dad. The entire group of centaurs that Bovil was a part of had taken up residence in the forest north of the city. Growing up, his parents preached to Bovil about respecting over people's differences and to be happy with his own. Bovil took each and every one of those lectures to heart.

As time went on, Bovil was given his first spear. Unfortunately, he broke it not even two hours after getting it by trampling it when he was trying to find it. After getting his second spear, Bovil was taught the thrill of the hunt. He earned that hunting is only meant to be done out of necessity and not for sport. And like many centaurs, Bovil caught on very quickly. He started small, getting a few rabbits once in a while but eventually managed to start bagging bigger game like deer and fish.

Ultimately, Bovil began to tire of the forest. He longed to meet other races aside from other centaurs and the occasional druid. After explaining to his parents, they only smiled and brought him into a deep hug. They knew that after all their teachings about respecting everyone's differences that Bovil would one day want to actually be able to experience those differences. His father then decided to give him a three hour long lecture in what to expect in the city and to always be on his toes (er...hooves) even if new races were being welcomed. After a very long goodbye, Bovil made his way to the city.

Now, Bovil is living a new life and has been in the city for about two years now. There's still so much for him to experience, and Bovil honestly can't wait.

Strengths:
Granite Sentinel: Unless hit by anything with the strength of a speeding truck he will be unmoved as well as unphased. His body also allows it so even he is shattered that as long as his head remains he will still be alive.
Untouched: Being a golem he is unaffected by poison, hunger, weather, disease, and the general passage of time. He doesn't sleep but he likes to in the hope he can one day dream.
No Eyes Sees All: His "eyesight" is so great that it pierces darkness and most obfuscation (rain,fog,snow,etc) as well being able to pick out minute details.

There was Only One Master: Due to being a golem he cannot be effected by any forms of mind control or alteration. The talisman in his head repels any mental or magical commands unless deemed so by his now dead Master.

Sink Like a Rock: Taking into account his weight and relative rigidity of his body Cassius cannot swim. At any and all cost he will stay away from any body of water for the fear that he will never be able to surface again.
Like Tears in the Rain: Being an almost immortal being he finds it incredibly hard to form personal connections as well to adjust to the changing times and trends.
Big Guy: His weight makes it so he is unable to travel by most normal means and has to be incredibly careful when dealing with unstable surfaces. Being a towering individual on top of being an intelligent golem also brings with it unwanted attention and the inability to hide in a crowd.
No Medicine will do me Good: He cannot benefit from any medicine or healing magic. If he is ever damaged it will take a skilled craftsman to fix him which takes tremendous time and resources.
Talisman
: The talisman in his head is his life. If removed from his body he will cease to function and "exist" for the time it is removed. Whats worse is if destroyed there is no way to bring back the being that is Cassius Saint-Clair by any means less than the actual Talisman itself. All his memories, personality, and being exists in that Talisman.

Other Skills: Perfect Memory, Business Acumen, Exceptional Jazz and Blues Musician, Knowledge in both History and Law, Can stand in place forever if need be

Personality: From an outside perspective he is seen as cold and unapproachable. Professional, to the point, and honest to an almost rude degree Cassius is incredibly pragmatic and logical. But those he interacts on a daily basis does he allow a degree of kindness in his own way. He will sometimes fall into spells of nostalgia and melancholy remembering times past. Also unless he is put in the most dire circumstances, only in which that can actually affect him, he will act nonplussed and indifferent.
Mundane Skills: Minute Drawing, Linguistics, Calligraphy, Cooking and able to make a good stiff drink, Fluent in French and Regional Creole.

History: The Golem who would be later known as Cassius was made in New Orleans by the Saint-Clair family in 1822. The Saint-Clair's being an offshoot of magicians from the Old World created him to be a manservant, consultant, and guardian. He served the family for several generations with every succeeding son inheriting him. It was not until the 4th generations only son, Oscar Marcel Saint-Clair, that he was given a name. A eternal bachelor and musician Oscar instilled in him a deep appreciation of music, history, and art. Beyond that he taught Cassius that a world existed beyond his duties and more importantly the ability to be more than he was made for.

The man who made him to become more and more human had to one day expectingly die. With his death the same day that he had found that he had a heart was the same day it was shattered. Oscar being a bachelor and having no living relations left Cassius without a master. As time went on he lived in the abandoned dilapidated husk of an estate, waiting for a new Saint-Clair to claim him until he forcibly removed by the city. At that time he attempted to end his own life, taking a chisel to his face to get to the Talisman. Whether by his own volition or in honor of Oscar's memory he stopped himself and left New Orleans forever; taking with him only his beloved master's trumpet.

Adopting his former Masters name Cassius traveled far and wide throughout the United States. His abilities from his life with the Saint-Clairs and Oscar's teachings gave him the chance to live life beyond Louisiana. Problems did quickly rise however, whether it be his polarizing personality or just being a golem made him always drifting from place to place until finally coming to the City. Settling down in 1976 he opened an antiques and appraisal shop "Saint-Clairs", his incredible attention to detail and vast knowledge quickly earned him the trust and respect of his clientele. As time has passed he has grown to be a important part of the community and the foremost expert in antiques and the unusual items that pass through the City. With ties to the City and the Upper Echelon Cassius leads a life where he is indispensable and extremely valuable,whether it be for the better or the worse.

Strengths: Persistent - Collin's extremely compulsive and single-minded - the good part about this is that and can't accept that anything is falling apart.

Gutsy (except when it comes to vampires)- Collin acts fast and doesn't think about it - a huge advantage when it comes to staving off his fears. He's capable of enduring ridiculous risks, except when it comes to his kryptonite, which are vampires.

Resilient - Here is a guy who can go 20 hours with no sleep, food, or caffeine, and smile through any insult.

Weaknesses: Impetuous- Collin dives at whatever he sees and never thinks anything through. He gets himself in difficult situations. He almost doesn't understand the concept of having a plan.

Obsessed- Once his mind locks on something, it's impossible to throw Collin off, no matter how impractical or unachievable it seems.

Naive - Not what you'd call a calculated person, and often fails to see behind people's true meaning. A little dumb when it comes to anything he lacks prior experience with. Somewhat of a blind do gooder as well and has instant contempt for anything that seems like "cheating".

Other Skills: Wrestled in high school and was good at that. Also a fast driver - you have to be to beat the traffic in this town.

Personality: The key part of Collin's personality is faith - not in a God but in himself. Things have went so wrong for him so many times in his life that he just doesn't think it could get any worse. He jumps at anything that excites him and is like a dog chasing it down. He's funny, but in a brash and impulsive way. His humor isn't for everyone and can border on offensive.

The things he cares most about besides proving he can make it are his wheelchair bound brother and helping others get over addiction, which is also the only real charitable cause he cares for. He's a compulsive gambler, and buys lottery tickets even though everyone makes fun of it.

Vampire clients tell him his blood smells sweet sometimes. It's probably meant as a compliment, but after one episode where one tried to bite him, it's always put Collin on edge. He's uniquely awkward and nervous around vampires of any kind.

Collin keeps a tight schedule by day, and while flirting is part of his job, he almost never follows through with any of his threats to take someone out on a date. He lives for his work and uses activity as something to keep him off addiction and drugs, and because of this is a little lonely and has few hobbies. His solution to any insecurity is to call someone about work.

He's perpetually unsatisfied. Having climbed from a total failure to living comfortably downtown, he's always on the lookout for something big, energetic, and exciting to do - no matter how short sighted that might be.

Morally, Collin has an aversion to drugs and anything associated with them, or some figments of his past life - his stints as a rent boy, etc. He is somewhat prejudiced against people who resort to extremes to survive, as a way of escaping his own experiences.

Mundane Skills: A great swimmer, used to be all state in sophomore year of high school. He's also great at typing and a master of the iPhone 7. Finally, no human being in the world has ever been better at Wii Tennis.

History: Collin was born to an Iranian immigrant father and a Greek mother in Athens. The couple moved to the United States shortly after an divorced when Collin was three, leaving him with just his dad, who dabbled in a lot of things but soon took to drinking and joining pyramid scheme, and his brother, who was paralyzed by disease from the waist down. Collin was never motivated in school, because of his situation at home. He hung around the wrong crowd and started doing drugs. His father and him fought over both of their habits - drinking or his father, drinking and smoking for the son. At 17, Collin was sent to rehab, and that's where his life turned around. Being on drugs was a lagging feeling, being able to quit was like cutting himself free. Collin had always had an obsessive personality, and without addiction to drugs, he soon started to become addicted to making it where dad didn't.

He made out for the big city... and failed. There weren't many opportunities for an 18 year old kid with no college education, so he took to doing anything to get by - sleeping with anyone who'd pay, failing at being a barista, getting rejected from the fire department, getting fired his first day on the job as a mechanic. The rent in this city was too high, and he felt down on his luck, especially when his brother came to join him, desperate to get away from his deteriorating family.

Then, he finally got his break selling real estate. He was willing to do more and make more calls than anyone else in the office, so finally he was able to beat the rent and pay even for his brother's living downtown. It's at that point that the 20 year old kid found his new niche: supernaturals. Vampires could really benefit from having under-floor places to sleep at night, Druids needed special courtyards to engage with nature. Sirens needed big swimming pools! Collin found out that there were many fewer agents scouting out these opportunities, so he started calling owners of houses he assured could sell for much higher than on the general market if they pitched to a certain other race, and had showings and websites just for them.

Things have gone well for the past two years - except with a couple of his vampire clients saying his blood smelled tasty, and one trying to bite him. However, Collin was never satisfied and always looking for a big break, so he's been desperately pitching a reality TV show, "Selling to supernaturals", or "supernatural listing", or anything the producers would accept. So far, they haven't accepted it under any label, but Collin bullheadedly charges ahead without any conception that it might all end badly.
