Street Magic

Should you want more structure instead of simple interact within the free threads, or maybe that interaction has turned into a 1x1 or a small group with a greater plot, please fill out an application below.

How this will work is, after the arc-master posts the plot they would like to run, it will be discussed by me and my co-gms ( zCrookedz zCrookedz and Vengeance Spirit Vengeance Spirit ) and we will decide if it shall be approved. If denied, we will explain why and the application deleted from the thread to reduce clutter. If approved, a new thread for this will be created for the duration of the plot.
  • For the duration of the plot, the characters involved are unable to be used within the free threads as they are happening in a different area.
  • Time will be kept unnoticed as far as that is concerned. If it need to be mentioned, that will be brought up with the GMs.
  • No plot lines should be large enough to severely effect the world and all players. At least, not at the moment. Keep it small for now.
  • You must have one other person interested in a plot in order to post it. There is no maximum although it is recommended to keep it around 4 to 6 at the most and it shouldn't encompass everyone within the roleplay.
  • GM's have the final say over AMs (arc masters.) If you think something you would like to do is questionable, then let us know so we can discuss it.
  • Only a few people are going to be allowed to run arcs at a time to limit everyone wanting to do one and not joining others. Don't make an application just to make one and have a thread to yourself. Only submit one if you truly are able to commit to running something to completion. The selection process is gong to be tough so, that is your warning.\
  • Should an AM fall inactive for a considerable amount of time (without mention) so that the party is unable to continue, it will be disbanded and the characters freed from the arc that will no longer be considered canon. If and or when the AM should return, it is unlikely they will be granted one in the future.
  • Arcs must end at some point. I'm not saying that they should be rushed through, but they can't continue on forever. Should the AM be reluctant to close their plot, then we shall do it for them.
  • As of right now, all plot lines are going to be considered canon to the characters and world itself. If they loose an arm or gain an ability within the plot, that needs to be mentioned on their CS. If a building catches fire, that'll be burnt down.
  • if something occurs within the plot that will affect the world around them and others not invovled, let the GMs know. This is so we can have characters possibly in that location in a free-thread or other plot react to it accordingly.

Arc Title: Something creative, take this seriously please
Risk Rating: Not everyone can get out without a scratch. This is out of three, 1 being harmless to 3 being high risk of character injury and or death.
Number of Players: How many are required to make the arc work.
Recommended Parties: Any specific races? Groups? Profession? That you would recommend be optimal for this plot?
Plot Description: Make sure its well thought out and detailed. We won't accept half-baked ideas.
Other: Anything else you believe that should be mentioned?

Little Shop of Horrors

xFfgg40.gif

Risk Rating: Two
Number of Players: Preferably three to five
Recommended Parties: Those who work at the shop (If someone's unsure on their character's profession, consider this an open invitation), as well as Detectives/Police, Supernatural customers as well
Plot Description:
Where does a Werewolf tormented by moon-cycle induced irritation go? The same place Vampires pick up their blood substitute or where Witches get their ingredients to throw into their copper cauldrons.
The days of supernaturals struggling to get the remedies for their unique afflictions are over, as with modern day society there's a shop catering to almost every possible need!

And Oxford's "Emporium for Supernatural Needs", commonly referred to as "Supermart", much to the owner's chagrin, is the first place you'll come looking for if you have a problem. Or just want to meet your kin. An assortment ranging from remedies for almost any supernatural malady to some herbal teas to calm one's nerves, "Supermart" probably has it....

Yet recently there has been some complaints...Or rather a lot of those. Incident after incident tainting the Shop's oh so great reputation. Be it their remedies failing to work to outright poisoning their customers. It seems like someone is targeting the Supernatural community by sabotaging the shop, be it because of some grudge towards supernaturals...or maybe there's more than meets the eye at first glance...

Other: So, bottom line! A lot of the supernaturals, mostly regulars, are affected by these events. Some Vampires outright returning to their primal, bloodthirsty ways as police reports of Vampire assaults are flooding in by the hundreds. Not to mention those working at the Shop fearing about their job...or their Reputation! Mystery meets buddy cop movie as we'd try to uncover who's behind these nasty occurrences!

Laying In Ash
Before we lay in ash
Risk RatingThree considering that yes. Your characters WILL have their souls taken and sent to the abyss making them 'technically' dead for the time being. Its not permanent though, unless you fuck something up. Hehehe....
I feel ascension giving way at last
Number of PlayersI'm thinking 3-4 not including me as I will be GMing, not playing. More might be able to be fit depending on who we get.

Recommended PartiesAnyone and everyone is welcome as no one in particular would've been targeted. It would be interesting for magic users to appear, however, because their abilities would work a bit differently than normal.
Into the valley once more now we go
Plot DescriptionSorcerers are powerful and immortal. And while that can be a good thing for the gods... it also tends to lead to quite a few unfortunate happenings. Meaning, while someone's physical body can live on forever, that doesn't mean their mind won't begin to take a toll and begin to degrade. Withering and shriveling away. That is what happened to the once lovely Azura. She was a devoted priestess to the goddess of water, practicing water magic in her honor while proclaiming her name. Many years this went on, but as everyone is aware,
elemental magic is the weakest of the many forms. This was soon noticed by the woman, she soon craving power almost to an uncontrollable point. Which after many years of being kept at bay, she finally managed to get her hands on a few poor creatures. Their souls ripe for the picking.

However... this water hag isn't aware that a certain someone is watching, and not all that pleased.
Into the gray, into the ground down below
OtherWhat's gonna happen is the characters are kidnapped by this senile sorceress as she wants to use their souls to further amplify her power. But as she works to extract the character's souls and getting a hold of them, the goddess of water appears and casts her into the abyss but also bringing the character's souls with them. Now with the goddess working to contain her once closest friend and sustain the character's physical forms,
they must travel the barren wasteland searching for an exit admits the grey dust. Hopefully one exists.

Players are expected to heed my direction throughout via NPC interaction and narration, but should someone stray from the path and do something else, there will be consequences, good or bad, depending upon the action. So, characters aren't likely to remain stuck here, but one wrong move could get them severed from the overworld for good.

Trouble in City Hall
dsa

Risk Rating For a majority of the time, a two. Can turn into a three based on character decisions.
Number of Players Three to Five
Recommended Parties Justice Department and those with ties or familiar with the dark network
Plot DescriptionWith the elections coming near, strange events have occurred. A district senator has passed due to unknown circumstances. However, more recently, Senator Nycasius Sterling, has gone missing. Nycasius is known to be a fireball in City Hall and has passed bills protecting his werewolf brethren as well as the less fortunate in the city. He is an enemy to those who profit off keeping the werewolves poor. Many people have pointed fingers at businesses that raise prices on everyday werewolf needs. However, there is little evidence behind Nycasius' strange disappearance. He was last seen in the park discussing matters with his pack.

The role of the Justice Department will be to: (a) Bring Nycasius back (b) Find out who did this (c) Serve justice. The degree of success will depend on how far we uncover this plot. There is always a possibility of arresting the wrong person. On top of this, crime lords put lots of funds into covering their tracks. They may have someone willing to take the fall for them. They also have bodyguards and others who are willing to kill anyone who speaks out against them. In some cases, the Justice Department and City Hall have been infiltrated by these criminals. Even though it is well believed the person who took Nycasius is a crime lord, it isn't confirmed. Nycasius could have turned feral and ran off or he could have been kidnapped by an insane individual. As the Justice Department, we will have to find the truth, no matter what bodily or mental harm may come to us.
OtherHow we go about this task is entirely up to us. Our characters can go undercover, sweep the streets, or even question the big wigs. Just know, the more noise you make, the more targets on your back. Stay true to your character and role play them the way that you created them. Length of this arc depends on choices we make. We may be tempted at times to give up or give into corruption, your character's decisions may directly influence the political climate of the city and future arcs. If we fail this mission, be sure to note that the enemy will see this as a success. They will continue to infiltrate high ranking officials. Success will set a precedent.
