Has anyone noticed that the Shock Pike is probably the best mortal usable Essence Weapon in the game? Â Essence using mortals, which it would cost about 14 BP to be, probably representing the basic training of Lookshy elite troops, can use the Exalted or Normal version with minimal difficulty and they are level two, which means that they can be mass produced by mortals, as long as you have the production lines (I would not be surprised if Lookshy has one hundred production lines producing these useful things). Â As Lookshy is using Shogunate level technomagic, as opposed to the Second Age technomagic of the Realm, it probably costs them a dot or two less Resources to make and maintain production lines.
