Fandom Star Wars The Old Republic: Forgotten One

The war between the Republic and the Sith Empire has raged on and off for many years. A temporary peace for a few months then a propaganda launched "counter attack" flings both forces back at one another. Huge fleets conquer planets, lightsabers liberate life from bodies, blasters wipe moons clean of life, it is all a huge cycle. A wheel constantly turning with no end in sight, but sometimes you will see a spark. During a change of power the wheel will stop, something rises to to attempt to take power, a spark. This is one of those sparks, a forgotten padawan who failed his trial of knighthood became a self anointed Master of the Force and took on the galaxy. On the outskirts of the galaxy in the Pluthan asteroid field a brooding padawan slowly accepted the darkness. After decades of growing more and more powerful he unleashed an armada upon the nearest neutral planets. His plan was swift and undaunted, both the Sith Empire and the Republic took notice to the petty empire, but what are they to do? Being rational, they both acted as if nothing had happened, more and more neutral systems fell to this forgotten padawan. Soon enough the padawan had fifty systems under his belt and they pleaded with both the Sith Empire and the Republic to come to their aid. Being rational once more they agreed to help by sending one Jedi and one Sith to investigate, even in a time of war they could do neutral negotiations. Eventually it was noticed that the Jedi and the Sith had lost contact with their respective governments, and before either side could declare murder a broadcast was forced upon the holonet. A loop recording of the Jedi and Sith dueling a hooded figure, and losing terribly. The recording is relatively short but it tells a story everyone can find disturbingly beautiful. The figure is far more advanced than the Zabrak Sith in his aggressive offense and more adept in defensive counters than the Human Jedi. The first to fall was the Sith, while attempting a decisive thrust he received a slash across his throat. Then a pause in the fight ensued, the Jedi pleads that the hooded figure comes to his senses and that fighting will solve nothing. The hooded figure obviously ponders the words as he deactivated his lightsaber and turned away, but the Jedi receives a tendril of lightning to her chest as soon as she deactivated her saber. For several minutes the hooded figure continues to torture the Jedi with flashes of blue lightning, eventually stopping as the young woman passed out from the pain, at this point it was obvious the lightning was not meant to kill. The figure turns to the recording's point of view, the final frame before looping is a pair of bright orange eyes under a dark shroud staring back at the recording device.

Now both the Sith Empire and the Republic have sent several Sith and Jedi, along with dozens of soldiers. What they don't know is the scope of the hooded figure's marshal power. When either party entered one of the figure's systems they found they had no way of leaving or contacting anything outside the system. Now inside the figure's systems both sides have observed many small battle groups containing unknown ships. What they did next is just a bloody chapter of history.
