A lone figure stood at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. Her robes matched the color of her hair. Jet black. The force flowed around her in waves... It could be felt radiating from her. Her face was adorned with a peaceful smile and her eyes were closed as she sat outside and meditated.
Ziva felt like today would be different. A good kind of different. She felt more at peace than she had before. But as always, the storm of conflict brewed beneath the surface. She kept trying to ignore it; push it back. But it wasn't under her control.
Ziva pushed away these thoughts and continued to focus on the force. She breathed in and out, letting the force flow through her and guide her mind.
A few stones in front of her began to float. More and more stones floated into the air. They looked like they were making a picture of something, but they were just floating around the Chosen One, making a spiral shape as she levitated.
She didn't realize they were floating.
A sense of sudden and overwhelming dread and fear pierced through her concentration and the rocks fell to the ground... Ziva felt suddenly paralyzed, unable to move. The New Order....
They were here.
And they were coming for her.
She still didn't know that she was the Chosen One... but they did.

Leia's ship came out of hyperdrive into the Coruscant System. It was almost been a couple of years sinces she left the capital to her pilgrimage, it was good to see the old capital again getting a sense of nostalgia. Still she was sure why she was back, despite her years away and uncovering some jedi relics, she still did not feel ready to return to the Jedi Order. There was little left out there, the old empire and the first order had been thorough in wiping away or stealing the order's secrets. It was worrism as there was something wrong in her teaching, something she did not know there has to be. Otherwise if she did not know the way how could the rest of the order know it.

Yet she was here, still unready but guided by the force to return. She could not see why as she nearned the planet, things seemed peaceful or as peaceful as Coruscant could get being once more the capital. The was a shift in the force, an overwhelming dread swept her enough to get her head to spin. Darkness was returning to the capital. Signatures began to appear in her radar as hundred of ships seemed to come out of hyperdrive. A military fleet like nothing she had seen before. Flashes of red followed as the mysterious fleet began to fire at everything that moved. Ships both military and civilian around her began to explode around her and that fire was getting dangeriously close to her. Quickly she quickly went to work, trying to raise the ship shield and get it moving.

She had an ancient G9 Rigger frieghter hardly a ship to be dodging fire or fighting a fleet. Yet she did well, making the old jugger dance through the fire as she tried to make sense of what was happening. She looked on in horror as the fleet seemed to move towards the planet to blockade and bombard. The symbols on one of the larger capital ships was clearly of that of the New Order. This was a declaration of war and a siege. She cursed, she needed to get planetside and help with their defence. She moved the ship to do so but by this point the fleet had send out fighters, some of them after her. She did her best to dodge them but though she could make an old jugger dance it was not enough, several shot strike true on her ship going through the engine. Looks like this was going to be a crash landing.

“Csarcican't vah k'reb'ah hah off?” Lief’s bored tone interrupting two crewmates locked in an embrace, quite convinced they were hidden away in the stock room. The captain had grown long suspicious of the two forgetting their duties, it had never taken anyone three hours to check inventory post mission.
The pair jolted apart guiltily, eyes down, muttered apologies offered, painfully uncomfortable at having been caught out. Lief wasn’t concerned about the personal lives of his crew, provided no one caused a hostile environment or interfered with the wellbeing of the group. As long as everyone was accounted for when they left a planet and kept their heads down in a fight, they were allowed to do whatever they pleased.

No further scolding necessary, the Chiss captain moved back towards the bridge, having been alerted of their approach to Coruscant. The massive city was often where they were contacted for side work, the latest success being a run of weapons to the outer rim. A mission with few snags and no losses had kept morale at an all time high during the quiet journey home. A stop off to upgrade their ship, gear, and weapons with the heavy payday had only further boosted the atmosphere on the ride home.
A long break would follow the end of the mission, allowing the group to decompress and actually enjoy some time without ducking gunfire.

---

Two of the three weeks of promised time off had gone swimmingly, the crew had been able to restock and actually split off to spend some time alone. Lief had spent more time eating than he cared to admit, grateful for something different from the dehydrated rations they relied on in space.

A low frequency and vibration had Lief’s glowing red eyes dropping to the communicator strapped to his inner arm, a clear SOS from the ship. The lack of sent details told Lief far more about the severity of the situation, he slammed his payment onto the table before tearing out of the hole in the wall he’d been gorging himself in.
Rarely had he been sent a signal this urgent, he was grateful he hadn’t strayed too far, having chosen to stay in his own quarters in the ship during their stay.

The run back to his ship had the city in varied states of confusion, some likely hearing security updates. A massive military force arriving would likely trigger a few notices to find shelter, the planet was heavily populated, though without any clear announcements ief was left unsure of the source of panic.
Sliding through a heavy metal door, Lief was met with two other members of his crew rushing in after to join the few that had already arrived.

“There’s an alert, the New order has arrived in force” A slender Chiss spoke the moment Lief entered the ship, rushing to take his place as the group awaited their final stragglers.

“Incinerate any contraband, scrub this place clean. They’re not here for us” Lief was quick in his words, knowing they would likely have to stay put. Any ships fleeing risked being shot down, this wasn’t their first run in with the dark order. “Get us out of here if a clear window opens” His next order causing the navigator to rush over to check their own radar.

One thought ran through Ziva’s mind. What were they here for? She leapt into her fighter, fired it up, and shot into the atmosphere. She rocketed into orbit with her weapons system ready and began to fire at New Order fighters. Quite a few began to follow Ziva. Just when she thought she was going to die, she realized... they weren’t firing at her..? It was strange, like they were chasing her towards a much larger ship... Wait. The ship had a tractor beam activated. She had to avoid the beam. She did a u-turn and rocketed back towards the surface with a number of New Order fighters still following her.
