Leaving the Order was one of the hardest things she had ever had to do but how could she go back after everything they had done to her? She had been raised by them and taught the ways of the Jedi since she was three and within a week she was marked as a traitor and a murderer! Lessons and reasons told her that the Order was only doing what they had to, it was their duty to investigate such a crime. And the evidence had begun to lead to her, it was only natural of them to place the blame on her and put her on trail.

Yet still, these people that had known her for years wouldn't look her in the eye and Ahsoka had never felt a more heartbreaking moment than when they had snapped off her silka beads. The Jedi had taught her to keep her emotions always in check for fear of falling to the Dark Side, and that was the only fiber that kept her from crying.

Couldn't her masters feel the Force? Would it not let them know that she was innocent?

All those questions had run through her mind as she sat in her cell, awaiting her trail. There was only one person that had believed in her: Anakin. He fought tooth and nail to free her and it was only after he had captured the real perpetrator, Barriss Offee, did the Order believe her. Now that made her question the Order even more. If even Barriss, her fellow Padawan and close friend, had seen something wrong with the Order and the Jedi Council, maybe there was?

So it was with these unanswered questions and growing distrust for the Order that she left it all behind. Ahsoka left her master behind. Leaving Anakin was like leaving a part of her behind. He had become like family to her, like the great, annoying, protective older brother she never had and always wanted, big fat ego and all.

After walking down the steps and finding a place to herself, she cried. It felt good too, damn the Order and whatever restraint in emotion that had been ingrained in the forefront of her mind for years. She needed to cry and remember all the good times and the bad that she had had with her master. Ahsoka almost wanted him to say that he would come with her, but she understood why he didn't. He had a job that he loved, a purpose to fulfill there, and behind secret doors a love that he couldn't leave. Ahsoka needed to find a purpose for herself now, no more fighting for the Order in order to stop some unknown force.

She needed a new purpose for her life.

It was in the following weeks that the ex Padawan attempted to return to her homeworld of Shili. For a while, it felt good to be back among familiar faces of her mother and father, but she found herself restless. There was nothing for the young Togruta to do. After quite literally her lifetime of training and honing her skills and the past two years she had spent in months of battle at a time, she found the quiet and easy days of her homeworld to be painful. So after a very short visit there, she moved from planet to planet, eventually finding herself short on credits, her last deal had left her on the planet Brentaal.

It wasn't a bad place at all to be left on. Two hyperlanes ran through here which made the planet filled with transient visitors such as herself and lots of odd jobs for her to pick up to restock her credits. She had been roaming for a while, not sure of exactly where she should go or what she should even be doing. Life with the Jedi Order was so easy, but she had made her choice. She was determined to find a new purpose in her life.

The Togruta had recently heard of the second battle of Christophsis and she wondered if her old master had participation in it's recapture from the Separatists. There was no way for her to know one way or the other but the thought gave her paused. How many battles would be fought over a single planet? How many lives destroyed by the civil war?

Though she had left the Order, she never turned to the Dark Side of the Force. If anything, she had felt herself reexamine how she viewed the Light. The Jedi were suppose to be peace keepers, and yes, she completely understood the need for fighting, as ironic as it was, to keep the peace and maintain the balance, but the Order had lost track of that in her eyes. They had because soldiers for the Republic instead of defenders of the people. Ahsoka wanted to change that, revamp the view of the Jedi way.

It was with these growing new ideas that she began to make a plan for her future and her new way as a Jedi. Well, perhaps not a jedi, maybe just something entirely new. For now, she needed to get off this planet.

Ahsoka was tired and saw the day was coming to an end, it was best for her to find a cheap hotel, find a few job once the morning came, and plan to leave Brentaal as soon as possible and take off to where her new Force was guiding her. She walked down the streets of the capital city, Cormond. The day of slowing, a considerably breeze way pushing people in the safety of the warm indoors. Ahsoka hoped to do the same quickly. Her clothing didn't really protect against the cold. Most of the planets she had went to and fought on were hot and sandy and her combative leathers and robe were often all she needed.

She kept the hood of her robe up, her montrals poking through the holes at the top. She turned down an alley corner, where she could see the sign for an inn lighting up in the approaching darkness on the other side. The former Padawan walked calmly to her destination, until her lekku sensed a breeze that wasn't just from the wind. The young one drew one of her green lightsabers out, looking around for who was out there "Hey! I'm armed." She warned.
