3. The Testament
   

History: Scylla is the last of her kind, A Vessalian they look much like a Human but they can live a very long time, they are also feared since they heal very fast. Scylla was the former Captain Commander of the Imperium Army but defected and stripped the Testament of its Imperium information. She had also killed everyone on the Ship once as they were loyal to the Imperium. Ever since then she became the notorious Captain of the Testament, and the most wanted Pirate so far.

General Appearance

The Selphas resemble humans in almost every way, except for the reptilian tail that stretches from their backside. These tails are exactly the same length as they are tall and equally agile.

The Selphas home-world has an intensely high gravity, making its species incredibly tough. A Selphas body is denser than it looks. On weaker gravity planets, even a small child could move a truck with little problem.

Their physical appearance can very, hair and eye color is completely random and can extend to even the most wildest colors. Their height is usually just over six feet tall and their weight is generally around five hundred pounds. Despite this weight, they are surprisingly small bodied, usually more lean than muscled.

Selphas possess more canine teeth than expected. The four in the front, same as a human, but in the back are four more on each side. They originally evolved from a highly predatory species, known for ruthlessly hunting down it's prey and consuming it, bones and all.

General History

The Selphas race is very old, yet no one has ever heard of them. The simple reason is that they have never left their home-world.

The Selphas race never left it's home world to colonize other planets. They are perfectly happy remaining in a symbiotic relationship with their living world. They have incredible scientific minds and love to figure out new things. Their planet is nearly impossible to find, requiring and extremely complex ship navigation system.

While they are aware of other planet's and species, they much prefer to mind their own. They are not bound to their home planet, always free to come and go as they wish. They do not, however, share their knowledge with any other race. It is not selfishness, they possess knowledge that could cause mass destruction if used improperly.

In their younger days, they were not intellectuals, they were predators, monsters capable of taking down creatures ten times their size. This has passed down the generations, creating tough skinned, incredibly strong creatures.

This strength and intelligence makes them incredibly powerful. However, they also suffer from a crippling weakness.

Due to their high density bodies, they require a large amount of caloric intake, deprived of this, they become lethargic and weak, in both mind and body. Like any creature, they also have blind spots. The base of their tail is also a weak spot and striking it can cause them to become paralyzed for a short time.

They are also very loyal and will sacrifice themselves to protect the ones they care about. While this isn't a weakness in itself, it can be used against them.

Appearance: Malias is around six foot seven and weighs around four hundred pounds, a little less than normal. He has short black hair that stops just under his chin. His hair is probably the most messy thing about him. He has deep auburn eyes and his ears are pointed and sharp looking.

He has pale skin, most likely from a life in space and indoors, his jawline is pointed but strong giving him a strangely handsome appearance. He can usually be found wearing loose fitting clothing, generally a long red shirt and a pair of loose fitting pants. He never wears shoes, preferring to feel the ground underneath him. His skin is tough enough to fend against most terrain anyway.

The most startling thing about him is the jet black reptilian tail that extends from his backside. The tail is a perfect limb, completely prehensile and as tough as the rest of his body. He can usually be found wearing loose fitting clothing, generally a long red shirt and a pair of loose fitting pants.

Malias carries a small locket with a picture of him and his wife shortly before she died.

Job: Engineer. He can fix anything, provided he has the gear and tools, and even without them, he can do a quick patch up.

Personality: Despite his past events, Malias is a kind and happy person, most enjoying tinkering and working on electronic systems. He rarely gets angry and loves to toy with people with simple pranks. He keeps people at a small distance though, preferring not to let them get too close.

History: Born and raised on his home planet Selpharni, he was top of his class in school and a bit of a troublemaker, even among his people. At the young age of two hundred, he left his planet on a ship of his design, though eventually took it apart for another project of his. During his travels he ended up on a relatively normal and distant planet who's evolutionary path followed very closely to that of the humans, though they'd only just begun in space travel and had no inclination of other life in the universe.

It was here that he met a girl. Hiding his only alien attribute, his tail, Malias conversed with her on many occasions, learning about the culture and society of the planet he'd arrived on. He eventually fell in love with her.

Not wanting to continue hiding, he eventually revealed the truth of himself, telling her of his people and of who he was. Despite being an alien creature to her, she was still very much in love with him.

They were married shortly after that and soon, he took her to his ship and asked her to join him in exploring the universe. She agreed.

A short ten years later they arrived at a small space station in a remote part of the galaxy. He was low on food and she was large with his twin children. The locals of the station offered them food and rest while they were there.

This turned out to be a trap. He was drugged and tucked away in a cell to be experimented on. It was only later that he found out that they'd cut his wife open to examine his unborn children. They'd wanted to figure out how to replicate his species dense bodies, to make super soldiers capable of attacking and defeating their enemies.

He saw red and wanted revenge. He tricked the guard to his cell into coming in with him and then killed and consumed him, regaining the strength he'd lost. Then he went on a rampage, killing all in that station, ignoring please for mercy. He bathed in their blood and made sure that they suffered.

Eventually, he was the only one alive there. He found his wife's body and the children and took them to his planet where they'd receive a proper burial. A Selphas does not seek revenge, but Malias had a deep hatred for these people. He did research and found that they were of the Imperium Army. He didn't want to kill them, despite what they'd done, there were still innocent people to think about.

No, what he wanted was to tear their society apart and force them to rebuild from the ground up. Some years later, he found his best shot at doing so, the Testament and her Captain. He contacted her and told her exactly what he wanted. She enlisted him as the ship's engineer.

Other Information: Malias is a scientist at heart, though possesses the skills of an engineer. Generally, he carries around many small tools made for nearly any situation. If he needs anything, he'll either build it or do without. One of his greatest tools is also his pet.

Dimensional Internal Accumulator, or Dia for short. Malias created this small creature by trying to create an artificial Black Hole. This creature is an effective Gravity Well, though it doesn't possess the Gravity of an actuall Black Hole, at most it can such up loose change or small, non tied down objects. Dia is very useful for minor storage though.

Theoretically, according to Malias, Dia has an infinite internal space. However, the number of items, depending on size, Dia can hold is limited. Any more and the oldest item will be "Deleted"

When he had got into contact with her she was only 5 years into her campaign against the Imperium. She had defected at the age of 20 years old. Meaning they are old pals, sinice he would have been on her ship for 175 years. She was 15 when Malias met his wife and she was 25 when he joined her, making him a founding pirate.

That is true. That would make Scylla understand he isn't disrespectful. Oh but no one in the crew not even Malias knew she was a Imperium Captain. As she had deleted her history of being one and hid her true identity.

Well she did defect at 20 years old. He met her fives years later. But when she was a captain she wasn't called A Star Killer for nothing. ((She caused a star to go supernova with a strange device and killed all of the inhabitants of the surrounding planets. Luckily the Testament can fly at Hyper speed.))

Yu is, being rather new to the world and it's customs, has few morals. She hasn't been taught what counts as right or wrong, and sees everyone as equals in that aspect. She can be fairly akward around people, often showing no emotions (or the wrong ones) and saying whatever she thinks must be said, with no consideration for tact and such. She's very curious, often asking people unconfortable questions or spying on people at weird places at weird times. Yu doesn't stand loneliness, and will always make sure there is almost always one other person in the room. Even if this means trapping them. Recently she discovered that people prefered people who smiled, this has led to Yu often having an unsettling smile plastered on fcae, not understanding that sometimes, smiling isn't agood facial expression.


History


Yu was made in a lab on planet Tarsiss 485. The scientists were developing companion androids, that would work as computers/smart phones essentialy but looking humanoid. Yu specifically was part of a side experiment were they testing if Artificila Intelligence was a good idea. However, as many of the androids with AI showed signs of rebellion, the experiment was shut down. Yu was only kept as a reference, since she had been a succes on other fronts.Because of this, Yu has some to see pirates as keepers of freedom, instead of the thieves they actually are.


Ever since, Yu has had as goal to travel the whole galaxy, wanting to see what she missed while being locked up. During the time she was on her own, she mastered programming and was picked up by the Testament.

None- His race are nomads and have been for the past few thousand years they live in a large armada of ships.

Race:

His race name is completely unknown and members of it are only known by their company name, his was Novamarines hence NM. They are known to be a hyper-technologically advanced race permanently using prototype technology made by his race. They can often be mistaken as humans however once one enters combat or other situation their eyes glow red that's the main sign of his race. Once his race wants to give its member new tech it mostly comes in the form of software rather than real tech and normally improves the units core systems and weaponry rather than its physical equipment, each member of his race is given a weapon that picks up its biometric code so only they can use it and if new software affecting their weapons arrive it simply upgrades the weaponry via a connection to his hands. It is unknown how the first member of this race was born/made since only the leader knows and he has only ever been seen once out of the main fleet. What makes his race different from cyborgs or android's is the fact that they have completely free will and cannot be fully disabled as EMP's only work as a flashbang's towards them. The last thing that makes his race so dangerous is the micromachinery that rapidly repair any external damage done to his body however an EMP disables them for a while depending on the EMP.

While on the ship he is a Gunner however he prefers to be used as a shock trooper if they is ever a need to board another ship or board a planet.

Personality:

Veteran can be described as having two distinct sides to his personality. One seems to be a hate-driven lunatic bent on killing anyone that he feels are "too safe", and another more loving personality that is far more humane than one would expect if they saw his other personality. To elaborate on the former, Veteran is a sadist; more elaborately, an insane, childish sadist. he enjoys inflicting pain on others, finding the blood stimulating and refreshing to spill. He's very intelligent, but extremely childish most of the time never letting the intelligence come out. Sadistic tendencies aside, Veteran is also seen as arrogant and rather cocky, brimming with confidence. When he questions whether a victim is scared, he merely grins, claiming that they should be because they encountered him. His hyperactive personality can also be seen through his combat style. Overall, though, Veteran is just a sadistic child at heart, even going so far as to dance in a puddle of blood of a fallen comrade for his own enjoyment. Going along with this "hatred" of his, Veteran himself has a lack of safety, and when he feels safe, he becomes threatened.

History:

NM-36301 was originally a member of the nomad race only known by whatever company they belong too,he was the 36301 member of the Novamarines (believe it or not they were the second newest company during his younger years), their number range in the millions and the number of companies in the hundreds of thousands, the race sustains its self by selling its men as mercenaries. Veteran belong to the Novamarines best known as the shock troopers of his race, even from a young race he could be seen as a great match for the Novemarines as he was a great fighter however his mental state wasn't the best. Over many year NM-36301 assessed a large amount of competed missions with slim to no failures. However he always felt something was missing and round about six hundred years into his life cycle he finally found what that was, compete and utter free will while he could always do what he wanted he never turned down a mission from the mother-ship(basically the big HQ) and answered it instantly no matter what he was doing. One day during a mission he abandoned it telling mother-ship that he was leaving for now, as a race with free will the mother-ship allowed him to leave telling him to stop by if he ever gets bored, they also gave him a name as they do with anyone that leaves for any amount of time so other races don't have to remember number, the name was "Veteran" as he is the person with the second longest active career in his race, the first being the leader who has been active for a very long time, so long that's its unknown how old he really is. He was picked up by the Testament after the captain witnessed one of his missions in progress during a raid on a Imperium Army prison transport.

Forged eons ago in the fusion furnaces of a now-dead star, the Novakid are a perfect example of nature’s emergent beauty. These creatures, described by a human astronomer as “interstellar gas-bag people”, have no known single origin point: that information is long lost, as the Novakid have little to no desire to record their history, or even pass it on to their offspring. Though they are (generally) more intelligent and intuitive than the “fleshy” races, their attention spans are lacking in some cases. This does not make them any less effective in combat, but has the effect of restricting their technology research (and any groundbreaking research is just built good enough before they lose interest in it ). However some Novakids are gifted and do not lack the attention span that their brothers do allowing them to work for long periods of times on things that would be almost impossible for a regular Novakid.

The force that drives the Novakid is contained within the brand on their faces. Charged with huge amounts of energy, these pieces of metal generate the hard plasma “shells” which stop their constituent gases from leaking – if a Novakid is depleted of his or her vital gases, the energy contained within their brand is instantly vented into the very fabric of spacetime, leaving only a twisted metal symbol and a nearly undetectable warping of light around the area of death.

While most Novakid are known to choose a planet to settle on before losing interest and finding another planet, some Novakid are known to simply float in space until they either burn out, are shot or find something of interest usually being a passing ship of meteorite.

The Novakid's culture is based around old american wild west and it is not unusual to see a Novakid don a cowboy hat or wield an old (or new depending on the wielder) revolver or bolt action rifle.

While most Novakids prefer to stay in their gaseous form (See picture for reference) all Novakids possess a distinct ability to 'shape shift' into the appearance of another being the appearance of which they are given on birth. Along with 'shape shifting' Novakids are blessed with oxygen indepedence, the ability to not need oxygen, and are not effected by the rules of gravity, allowing them to float if they wish.

Personality:

Icarus is usually dubbed as sarcastic or joking to those he meets and will usually crack a sarcastic comment of joke that related to the situation. However underneath all this wise cracking and smart ass comments he is a caring and wise person who is quick to understand someone's empathy or sorrow and help out in any way he can if his help is needed.

History:

Icarus was an adventurous child who who would usually spend his time exploring his home planet and any other foreigners that had docked on his planet, usually getting him into all sorts of problems or predicaments which he would usually negotiate his way out of or have to use his 'talents' with gun play to get his way out of a mess he made. While Icarus had enjoyed these little negotiations or fire fights he had longed to breach his planets limits and explore the stars above. Of course when an opportunity arose in the form of a delivery ship leaving their cargo doors open Icarus took his chance and quickly stowed away on the ship never to be heard from by his fellow Novakin. While Icarus was good with negotiations and guns he had never been a top notch person and sneaking about and had soon been discovered by the captain of the ship, a cruel man who had no tolerance for the stowaway he had found on board. Instead of taking the long journey back to Icarus' home world the captain simply through Icarus out the air-lock to see what would happen if a Novakid was deprived of oxygen, he was sourly disappointed when Icarus simply pointed and laughed before being rammed by the ship. After this event Icarus floated freely in space in wait for a ship that he could stowaway on or join the crew of, the ship that had been lucky enough to find him was The Testament which he quickly stowed aboard upon and has been hidden ever since.​

Kory is loyal. She will never change her loyalties unless she thinks the captain is not worthy of her. She is calm but because of her mask which is made to keep her calm. She is only trusts two people in the whole universe. One is the Captain. She never talks about the other one. She is brave, smart, and protective.

History:

Kory was born on Planet Jemi. She was one of the princesses of the king and queen. She hated the spotlight and her planet is known for the power of changing their appearance. She always changed her looks and go off exploring her planet. Her planet known characteristic is their horns. But she was able to hide them and look completely human. When Kory was 145 which is 2 years old and half in human years. Her planet was attacked by Imperium Army since her people were naturally calm people, they did not fight back.
