Personality: An amalgamation of shyness, secretive and distrusting, Sora is a very difficult person to pin down in terms of personality. She's highly emotional and acts in response to these emotions. She isn't very worldly and tends to avoid people as they think her weird or fear her. She speaks little and is hard to get close to, but once someone does, though that hasn't happened yet outside of her demon, she is a fairly childish and innocent girl. She sees the world as a wonderful place and something beautiful to protect. She likes people and would generally be a loyal friend, if not for the whole she steals their dreams from them without thinking.
History:
*MAJOR SPOILER*
There is very little that Sora remembers before she woke up next to the savage and the *ahem* other one. All she knows is that her sleepless nights were plagued with a recollection of pain and misery for many months after that. Her nightly screams terrified people and made them believe that she was being tormented by a demon. Unable to survive in a normal life, Sora resorted to stealing from people in order to live. She stole everything she could and eventually her dreams of pain were replaced.
Unbeknownst to Sora, as she moved about the homes of her victims, magic was coursing through her, stealing the dreams of those that lived their and attracting the attention of a very intrigued demon. In one of her new pleasant dreams, the Lord of Nightmares, Zyril appeared before her. He explained that she was a witch. Sora could believe it because the demon demonstrated exactly what she was doing to people without even thinking. He offered her a deal. He would prevent her from ever having a nightmare for the rest of her life, so long as she continued to plague people with their own.
Sora, despite not wanting to hurt anyone, agreed purely because the pain was impossible to bear, even if it was only a dream. Zyril, ecstatic by the turn of events, upheld is end of the bargain and made her nightmare free while also giving her lessons on how to use her magic. Thanks to the demon, she became a powerful witch in her own right. She and Zyril seem to have a bond similar to that of friendship and they often spend her time asleep talking about things while Zyril continues to grow in strength and in turn, Sora.

A few years ago, there was a witch by the name of Vix. She was a generally average witch that had been raised in the Coven for most of her entire life. She showed a great deal of potential should she ever make a contract with a demon or spirit, however, she didn't feel the overwhelming need to do such a thing. She was able to protect people with her magic despite not having a demon or spirit and that was good enough for her. This didn't last forever though as a witch she once knew turned into an Awakened One and destroyed the village they'd aimed to protect. If one of the single digit witches had come and intervened, Vix would have lost her life as well.
This disastrous event, left Vix empty inside. She realized she needed more power a little too late. Desperate to achieve the same power as the single digit witches, Vix reached out to a very clever and cruel demon. Zel the demon of psyche and subconscious thought. He offered her a great deal of power and in exchange he wanted to see the world and get to understand the place that other demons had sought out regularly. Vix, unknowing of how much power tapping into the subconscious could unlock, accepted the deal and quickly realized her mistake.
The power of Zel quickly began to overwhelm her and she knew that she would become awakened just as her friend did. Desperate to not let that fate unfold she did the only thing she could do. She used her new power to find a way to break her contract with Zel. The only way to do this though, was to no longer be Vix. Vix shattered her mind into three distinct individuals with their own personalities and mindsets, but lacking the other two. They all awoke in a field and that's where their stories begin.
