Origin:
Sophia was born in a fleeting affair between Helmut Zemo and an American woman, years before he took up the mantle of his father and became Baron Zemo. Sophia later learned of her biological relation to him at the age of 20, at which point he was already an infamous supervillain and enemy of the Avengers. He too learned of her existence and sought her out, intending to recruit her to the cause of his villainy so that together they could destroy the Avengers as Father and Daughter. Ironically enough, Sophia was inspired by Zemo when he and the Masters of Evil masqueraded as the Superhero team the Thunderbolts, deciding to create her own version of the Thunderbolts and to follow the path of a hero rather than the schemes of her father.
