Name: Cyrus Warren

Age: 25

Overview: There is a divide right in the middle where personality is concerned in the case of Cyrus. There is the never-give-up, always fighting, always moving, always gaining altitude kind of person and there is also the confined person with self-imposed restrictions, who likes to stay at one place and work for what he values most. He's quiet, often the type to keep his head down and do his work, so much so that some of the more boisterous and outgoing members of the ship believe him to genuinely be a mute. He's not, but he is very quiet and doesn't often speak... even when being spoken to.

Cyrus is always a person who seems a little formal, a little out of place with straight-laced personality, especially when surrounded by a crew of less-than-moral pirates. Of all the great tragedies and maladies of the world, nothing terrorizes Cyrus more than boredom. He is an avid multitasker and enjoys keeping himself busy-- not only with his duties on the ship, but also with his personal hobbies, like writing and wood-working. His sense of community with his crewmates is nigh non-existent as he is quite different from them: being literate, educated, and diplomatic in all the ways his Captain loves, but the crew despises.

An Englishman, Cyrus moved to Jamaica to be a privateer, like his father before him. After being accused and charged for a murder he did not commit, Cyrus fled to Madagascar and quickly established a friendship with a pirate captain out of the local port. By the following year, Cyrus, who had been educated was made the pirate ship's sailing master in exchange for refuge from his murder charges.

Name: Lady Alice Kent

Age: 20

Overview: Alice has always been a woman beyond her years. Even from a young age, Alice understood that being the eldest daughter of a Duke only made her a target for two things: marriage and scandal. She grew up proper, carrying the weight of mothering her younger sister, Mary, and baby half-sister, Charlotte. Even so, at nearly seven years Mary’s senior, that the world they were living in was not safe for a woman with a naïve heart. As such, Alice completed her studies and lived her life in society.

Alice is sharp, with a keen eye for people. Life in society has made her a master of manipulation and gossip, though she does not like to partake in either unless the occasion calls for it. Truthfully, while she can be rather much at times, she finds solace in literature and seems entirely different when alone. A master of a mask, Alice carries the weight of the family on her shoulders all while knowing that this is all she will ever have. Fancy dinners, drawing rooms, prospective husbands, marriage and children. Part of her longs for something more, but she does not think it entirely fair to complain when she has so much.

She is decent at many things, but found a bit of a calling in nursing during one of the rebellious outbreaks in the countryside. When men and women were brought into the costal town, Alice had volunteered to help where she could, and developed quite the stomach for it. Though it could never last, as nursing was an occupation for someone less than a proper Lady, as her father so eloquently explained.

Loved by many, Alice certainly leads a comfortable and enjoyable life, but she often times feels lost and without purpose.
