Personality: sans is the most laid back person one would ever meet, often sleeping on the job and not picking up his damn sock even when told to an infinite amount of times. The laziness he has is due to the combination of fatalism and apathy he has. His indolence stems from the fact he knows that any kind of progress he creates would be erased whenever the timeline resets. Though he just says that it's a poor excuse for being extremely lazy. He also loves making horrible puns that annoy his brother a lot.
Though he is typically agreeable, he can get serious. And when he does, he gives off this feeling if eerieness that just sends chills down your spine. Even more so with huge grin on his face most of the time. Plus his eyes turn completely black. He's also an observant fellow, capable of reading expressions and telling if a person's done certain tasks. He's also got a weird love for drinking ketchup and enjoys science fiction. He also has a scientific background, because he built something that could bring Gaster back into the world and had a workshop at the back of his house at Snowdin. Meaning his smartness is probably on a level of genius. Also, his left eye can glow cyan and yellow.
Short Backstory: sans is the brother of papyrus, whether he is the older or younger is unknown but it's suspected he's the older. Not much is known of sans nor his brothers past, only that the Snowdin Shopkeeper said that he and his brother just randomly appeared one day. Throughout the game there are hints here and there that suggests sans is a scientist of sorts, the biggest piece of evidence being the workshop at the back of their old house. What his true back story is though, is something nobody but he himself knows.
Abilities & Attacks: Short Cuts - sans is capable of using something he calls short cuts, which is basically teleportation but with another name.
Bones - Much like his brother Papyrus, sans can use bones to attack his opponent. These bones of his can either be blue, which only hurt the opponent if they're moving, and white attacks. Which will always hurt the opponent.
Gaster Blasters - The skeleton is capable of summoning and controlling things named gaster blasters. Which are devices that look like the skulls of a goat or dragon. These gaster blasters are capable of shooting blue laser beams.
Karmic Retribution - This is an attack sans can use to slowly decrease the players health, but not below one health point whilst it's in effect, and removes their invincibility frames. It activates whenever hit by one of sans attacks. And the more LOVE they have, the stronger it is.
You're Blue - like papyrus, sans can change the gravity on the soul of a human, making the soul slower when jumping and turning it blue.
Telekinesis - sans can use telekinesis to move things with his mind, as depicted when he viciously slams the human's soul into the sides of the bullet box in the genocider ending.
