The Nightmare Chaser
"Open your eyes. Do it. Come on. Wake up. Open...your...eyes..."
There is a voice, coming from somewhere in the endless darkness surrounding you, and you try to listen to it, but your eyes are already open, your mind already prepared, and you wonder who the hell is talking to you, and more importantly, where the hell you are.
Then the simulation begins.
You awake upon the X7 Space Station, in orbit around Jupiter. You have no idea what's going on or why you are here. The only clue is a slip of paper in your hand, and it reads:
YOU ARE IN A SIMULATION
IF YOU DIE, YOU DIE IN REAL LIFE
GET TO EARTH
FIND ICARUS
You must escape from the simulation, no matter what. And as you soon discover, you're not the only one.
