That One Fear In My Enemy's Eyes
Sil'Eph Niir, the Golden Eyed Goddess and All Mother to the Dragon Race, is a powerful being of celestial origins. She awoke alongside the other Gods many eons ago before time itself came to be. Among the Gods She is well known for Her kindness and empathy. Some of them might even call Her too kind. But nonetheless She is well respected among Her kin.

During the creation of the mortal world Sil'Eph Niir waited patiently for the opportunity to fulfill Her task. She knew that task instinctively to be the creation of the Dragon Race, whom She deems Her Children. When the world itself was complete She was the first to populate it with Her Children. That being said the Dragons are officially the first life forms to inhabit this world which is why they're known as the First Children of Earth.

Upon completion of Her labor Sil'Eph Niir took to a ten thousand year slumber which became known as The All Mother's Respite. She remained in Dragon form during this period of slumber and was watched over by Her Children. They guarded Her with their lives. Her mere presence invoked a sense of unity among them which had never been seen before during the time of population, nor since Her departure. The Dragons have found a sense of unity and harmony in their lives in The World's Wing, but still they have never enjoyed the singularly unified existence they did during Her slumber.

The Dragons all know that Sil'Eph Niir is the one who created their race which is why they refer to Her as the All Mother. Even though none of those which had seen Her during Her slumber are alive, those who currently inhabit the planet all instinctively hold an unconditional love for Her as both their creator and Mother. They don't know what She looks like in Dragon form, but they know what She looks like in human form as Her likeness is captured in a statue erected on the top of the highest mountain on The World's Wing.

Every Dragon alive has been to see that statue at least once in their lives to commit the image of Her human form to memory.

To the Dragons, Sil'Eph Niir is everything. If She or Her memory or legacy were ever to be insulted by anyone or anything, the entire Dragon Race would rise up to punish whoever it was who dared insult the All Mother.
