• The Great Fall was considered the worst event to ever occur since World War I. The numbers of all species dramatically declined, turning the once beautiful Earth into a barren wasteland. However, the efforts of a small group of humans turned what was once the Midwest of the United States into a thriving country named Patria.
  
  The Earth everyone knew was no longer livable so humanity had to start from scratch once again, so although the outside world was filled with radiation and debris, Patria was built for the purpose of becoming a safe haven—a large dome that was solar-powered to project what the outside world should feel and look like.
  
  Not only were things beginning to look normal and lively again, but the sins of the past were promised to never exist in the future. Crowds of people who heard this news flocked to the country with hope and it gradually became a new world.
  
  To this day, Patria remains a country of perfection. Everything and everyone is regulated or moderated by the government and its many systems in order for things to run smoothly, even who Patrinian's were supposed to marry.
  
  Every fifth year, men and women between the ages of 20-25 learn whom their future spouse is, but something’s changed. A group of young adults who’ve been scheduled for their own Matching discover they’re matched with not one person, but two people.
  
  The systems flawed but only they know it. How long will they be able to keep their secrets? Can a person fall in love with someone they’re not supposed to be with?

• I don't have a set number of characters I plan on accepting. It all depends on how many people show interest and what kind of challenge I feel like torturing myself with.
  
  There will be an equal amount of both males and females, however. You're free to make two characters, but there's no guaranteeing that both or either of them will be accepted.
  
  Once characters have been accepted, I will post them here all nice and pretty-like.

  This is more realistic than futuristic. The only legitimate futuristic elements are some of the technological and medical advancements. Think Hunger Games dome when Katniss shot an arrow at it and had a near death experience.
  
  This roleplay is part player-driven, part event-style. They'll be like scenes where I lay the setting. I'll be doing this often, especially if the roleplay is moving too slowly.
  
  Please note that this isn't completely in the "romance" genre. These poor adult-children will basically be murdered on the spot if the government catches up to the system and realizes there are flaws in its people. Plus my character will play the major plot reveal person and there might be a point where everyone may or may not want to escape. It all depends on how you all write this story. (:
  
  By the way, Silentium est Aurum means "Silence is Gold."
