Curse (Description, strengths and weaknesses):

Isis’s curse doesn’t have an official name, that’s why she refers to it as the “Paper Curse”. Unlike many other curses this particular one needs a trigger to activate itself, which is a single drop of Isis’s blood (Can be more) dropped onto a sheet of paper. When the blood comes into contact with the paper hardens, becomes as sharp as a sword and turns into a red velvety-like color (For reasons of personal choice and management Isis prefers to fold the paper into airplanes before dropping the blood on it). After this happens Isis is able to control them like puppets and use them for cutting as deadly projectiles. She is able to control more than one at a time, but if she uses more than one then there’s a time limit before the paper fades away.

One sheet of paper= Unlimited time

Two sheets of paper: One hour

Three sheets of paper: Half an hour

Four sheets of paper: Ten minutes

(Any sheets beyond this can barely last a minute, maybe even just a few seconds.)

This happens because her mind isn’t yet trained enough to manage and control more than four sheets at a time.

But sadly this curse comes with some disadvantages. First off, while the cursed paper can cut through humans and are extremely fast it doesn’t take much to really destroy them (Slice them with a sword, shoot a bunch of times). A more obvious disadvantage is that if Isis runs out of paper then she basically doesn’t have anything to defend herself with and even if she does have some it takes time to fold the paper into an airplane, meaning she is completely open to attacks during that time.

Any weapon?:

A hidden combat knife. Her skills are just a bit above average with it, that’s why she only uses it during emergencies.

Personality:

For many people, the "charm" is something that takes many years to learn. However, for Isis the "charm" is as natural as breathing. Isis is a rather magnetic, dynamic and always attractive person. She is happiest when involved in a game, sensory experiences and all kinds of rewarding work. Isis typically exhibits a natural candor and sincere generosity. She isn’t generous because she expects something in return - on the contrary, she genuinely enjoys the act of giving itself.

Isis’s natural desire to make others happy can be especially appreciated in hard times. She is particularly good at helping her friends during difficult/emotional times. Isis has strong opinions about issues important to her - and she likes to not be discussed when speaking of her beliefs. Sometimes Isis will withdraw herself if her desire for superiority is challenged. She has a deep-rooted passion for particular subjects that are close to her heart.

Isis is also a fast learner. Her positive energy allows Isis to analyze a situation and assimilate information quickly. On the other hand, she is prone to miss minor details for a quick overview. While others may keep thinking of the trickiest aspects of a particular topic - Isis often jumps to the next border, looking for one more challenge.

Bio (You may choose to reveal it during the RP):

Isis grew up with no parents. She was found in the steps of one of Trance’s many orphanages. Isis describes the years she passed in Safe Heaven’s Orphanage as the vivid image of hell on earth. There was a constant shortage of food. The cold nights of winter froze the bones and the hot days of summer created a fetid smell from all of the kid’s sweat who couldn’t find a way to refresh themselves. The floor and walls were covered in dirt and the clothes the kids wore were basically rags. But the worst part of them all was the other kids. Being born as a Cursed Children means you are bound to frighten others, fear leads to anger and anger leads to hate, and with these kids this was no exception.

While reading one of the orphanage’s few books Isis accidently cut her finger with the paper. The single drop of blood that poured out of the wound landed on that page, turning it completely red. The kids that witnessed the scene were horrified to say the least and immediately labeled Isis as a threat and immediately began to mistreat her just like the rest of the Cursed Children that lived in that orphanage.

Years of harassment finally made Isis snap and decide that she have had enough. At the age of 14 she and the rest of the kids decided to flee from the orphanage and live on the streets of Trance. After just a couple of weeks the small group met Kas Lavra, a store owner who suffered the same condition as them. To the surprise of Isis and her friends Kas offered them a place to stay. He offered them a home. With no doubts in mind the kids accepted immediately.

The first years in her new home passed pretty smoothly for Isis. She and the group helped Kas manage the shop and were even assisting a public school to assure themselves a decent future. Everything was perfect for Isis, until the Cleansing Law struck. The group of five began to slowly be reduced as the members began to be taken away by the enforcers of the law just to never be seen again. Some were taken away while in school, others while roaming the streets. In the end only Isis remained. Her little family was all taken away from her, leaving only Kas to look after her.

The 18th year of her life Isis passed it mostly inside the shop. She barely even stepped outside, it was too dangerous. In order to pass time Isis would create paper air planes and make them fly around her room, leading to the near mastery of her curse. One day Isis just couldn’t take it anymore. She had to leave the shop. After Kas had fallen asleep Isis sneaked out of the shop and began roaming the streets of Trance, but knowing very well that there was a chance that she may be assaulted she took a single “possessed” paper plane with her, which she hid inside a small leather purse.

Isis spent most of the night inside a nearby club and stayed there till it was closing time. In order to get to the shop faster she took a shortcut through a park. It was in here that she was approached by three Cleansing law enforcers. They said Isis was acting “suspiciously” and that she would have to come with them in order to get tested. Knowing very well what this meant Isis tried to resist, but one of the officers grabbed her by the arm and was about to knock her unconscious with his baton when something happened. The cursed paper plane Isis had brought with her pierced right through the leather as well as the law enforcer. After watching this the other officers drew out their guns and were about to shoot when the plane sliced open their throats. Isis couldn’t believe what just happened. Just as she was about to flee the scene something tackled her onto the ground and held her against it. It was the first officer. He was holding a sharp object that began to quickly approach her eye. A syringe.

Just as the syringe came into contact with her iris Isis’s survival instincts kicked in and the adrenaline began to flow through her veins. The cursed paper airplane responded to this by slicing the officer’s head off, but the damage was already done. With a bleeding eye Iris managed to sprint back home. After he was woken by Iris’s sudden entrance Kas immediately called a friend doctor of his (He was a Cursed Children as well). The good news were that none of the cure had managed to enter the body through the eye, but the bad news were that the damage done to the eye was too severe, meaning Isis’s left eye was permanently blind. After this fateful event Kas decided it would be too dangerous to let Isis live in Trance from now on. Kas told her that he had some faint links with a group of Cursed Children who were planning on defeating the government. Their name was Silent Frontline. Knowing that this would be the only chance she would have to acquire true freedom and something she could call a family Isis decided to join them.

Motivation:

Even if she doesn’t give much detail as to why Isis’s motivation is for a future in which the Cursed Children completely take over Trance
