Personality: Shinya is a very introverted girl. Don't take that as shy and quiet however. She is far from it. When she wants to be, Shinya is very out there and making friends. While she is usually silent, she is very brooding and emits an intimidating and calm aura. But don't let this fool you. She is actually very kind. She loves making friends, and she yearns for the day when she'll find someone who actually wants to stay with her. She's loyal and determined, and has a very strong sense of ethics. If it's what's right, then it will get done. She is very protective of those she cares about, so don't ruffle her feathers. If you do, prepare to get a very snappy, sarcastic, and rude comeback.
History: Shinya was born to the Greek god of war, Ares, and a woman by the name of Annaliesse Hiragi. Of course, Shinya, or Shin, never knew her father. There was a ruse that he was an old war hero who died in the line of battle before she was born. (The "death" was apparently too painful for her mother, which is why there are no photos of him anywhere in their house.)
When Shinya was Older, about the age of 5, her mother was involved in a car accident that cost her life. After the funeral, she was shipped off to live with her "father's" parents, AKA an elderly couple who wanted a child to raise, so they took her in.
As Shinya grew to be a young woman, the girl discovered that she was interested in combative arts. Through the years, she collected quite the extensive set of numerous weapons. She also began to take martial arts classes, excelling in them easily.
When Shinya was 14, she was found by an older male during the attack of an odd creature with wings and horns. She was saved and taken to an odd place named "Camp Half-Blood." There, she learned that she was a demigod, the half human offspring of the gods.
While at the camp, she made many new friends, and found out that she apparently had half-siblings as well. She was happy at the camp, finally feeling like she fit in somewhere.
Weapons of choice: A bow and arrow is her initial weapon of choice. Other than that, she favors the vajra, the bow staff, and the Sai
Godly abilities: She is gifted in combat due to her father. She was also blessed by Hephaestus, so she can create fire and forge the things she needs. She also has a high intellect.
Other notes:
•Shinya is a very talented sniper. Put a gun in her hand and watch the magic happen. Hire her as a hitman and the job is sure to get done.
•She had an older brother, who she hasn't seen in years. He was a demigod, but had a different godly parent than she did.
•She is skilled in martial arts. Currently, she is a seventh degree black belt in Karate, and a second in Taekwondo
•She's not American. She was raised in Denmark, meaning she isn't very knowledgeable about their customs.
•She speaks several languages, including Danish and Russian.
