Settings/Location

Pokémon Link is an MMORPG and a virtual reality game that lets you explore and interact with its dynamic three-dimensional environments. This is great news for long time Pokémon fans because they can now visit all their favorite places from the past Pokémon games and see them in a completely new light! These are some of the things to keep in mind about the settings/locations of Pokémon Link:

Union Hall

Union Hall is the beginning point of the game. Once a player makes his or her character they are sent to the Union Plaza, an enormous public square with a giant pikachu statue in the center. Union Hall is always crowded because of that. Union Hall is a big city with a lot of sightseeings and attractions, making it a very festive place. Game makers have said they designed Union Hall to celebrate new players. That said, lots of veteran players still use Union Hall to hangout and/or trade. Union Hall is also used for several in-game events and quests. Union Hall is one of the only original places in Pokémon Link.

Pokémon Center/Poké Mart

Just like the Pokémon games, Pokémon Centers and Poké Marts exist in Pokémon Link. In the Pokémon Center, Nurse Joy will let a player use a Healing Pod. Healing Pods are modern-looking containers that treat various status conditions and injuries. Poké Marts are self-explanatory, but they no longer carry Pokéballs.

Wilderness

Wilderness areas are where you can find Pokémon or other players to fight. There might be NPCs waiting for you to make eye-contact too, so watch out! The wilderness areas in Pokémon Link are exactly how they were in the Pokémon games. You cannot initiate a battle anywhere else - aside from Gyms and the Battle Arena, of course.

Gyms/Elite Four

Just like the Pokémon games, the Gym Leaders and the Elite Four are available in the game for you to challenge. They are linked with their strongest Pokémon. We won't be dwelling on either of them too much for this roleplay.

Servers

There are six different servers in this game: Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova and Kalos. Each of them have six sub-servers to avoid traffic. At the start of your every post, you're required to start your post with the area you're in, the region, and the sub-server number. For example: Jubilife City, Sinnoh, Server 3
