So, apperantly you can post pictures you drew here and sometimes get feedback... well, let's see if mine have any chance surviving here.

I present to you,

the High Priestress Kalish

I had an idea to craft an Pen & Paper RPG for a group of friends, in which I wanted to heavily support underwater combat. After tinkering around a bit, I came to the conclusion that the merfolk would need a Priestress for their religion and after a while of sacrifical SAI-Rituals, this beauty appeard. I hope you dig it.


PS: I'm always open to critique and feedback of all kinds (apart from 'dis suxs' and stuff similar to that)


Also, if you want me to draw something specific, I currently have time and am always searching for things to draw.

Very wonderful drawings! I particularly love their facial expressions and the movement that you convey.


Great colors too! That they are sea creatures, is a personal plus for me, since I love human-like fantasy creatures.

Why, thank you.


I actually just took some pastel colors because I'm bad at colors and needed a grey with JUST a bit color, so I later on would be able to change them to my hearts content... you know, when I found some actually good colors.


And thanks for that with the facial expression. It's really hard to get a hang of them and I should at some point get a mirror in my room, so I can see the grimaces I'm making. But watching people paint (who are all FAR better than I am) helps getting those faces down.

Let me tell ya, those curly bits at her dress were INFURIATING. But in the end, they look kinda nice, so they got that going for them

Thanks for putting up the finished drawing! It feels completely complete now.


I think you have a great sense of knowing colors that compliment each other well. The dress and skin tone looks great together. Clever that you used the lighter gray as a preface on the first one (Natish).


By the way, I really like the curly bits on the dress. Your infuriation payed off, as you said.


I draw a little myself (the old fashion way) and I love to draw dresses that have that curly fall ( I am not an expert of drawing, just simply love it).


A mirror can always come to use! Watching others seems like the perfect way to learn and take what you learn into your own work. Your facial expressions showed emotion, that's what I like.


Do you mostly draw creatures or do you draw other things as well?


Oh, and I definitely dig! One more thing, I really like their names, very creative.

Well, I have a tendancy to mess up human proportions, so making a reasonable one up is far easier. But currently I mostly draw women, considering their more exaggerated bodys (smaller waist, bigger hips, cone-shaped chest etc.) is more fitting for my previously very cartoony style. What I'm thinking of is maybe to draw a few men next, since it seems like I get the hang of female anatomy (sort off at least)


What I'm completely useless at is background or scenes as a whole :S Be that a giant mountain or a nice little field, I suck at that.


As to the names, it's actually pretty easy since I just take the concept of being two to three syllable long names with an 'ish' somewhere in it. Makes it sound a little bit more exotic and having a concept of how to create the names helps flesh out a sense of cohesion between all the merfolk I draw.


If there is anything you would like to see, either something you want to be drawn or something in my backcatalouge you want to see, let me know and I try my bestial claws at it.

I can certainly relate to having troubles with the human proportion, I too only draw women yet I have done some drawings of men, but I find it to be more difficult as well. Especially hands are really difficult...


Strangely, I am bad at scenery also... We seem to be in a similar situation!


Sounds like you've found a good name concept then!


You would draw me something? That's really kind of you. I will think of something for you to draw, I've started thinking about it now. I'd also like to see any of your work. Anything you have, I can take a look at.

Well, long time no see.

There you have it, another commission done for Mobius, who wanted me to rework her Sonic OC (not Sonic '06 *shiver ), which she commission a couple of times already, but always got some sort of sonic-anime hybrid? I'm happy that she likes it and didn't think I would enjoy myself as much as I did, considering I dislike the whole Sanic-stuff.

Ba-Buum! Commission for TheJ0ker, who commissioned a pic for a roleplay of his, with his partner (I think, i actually never asked :S ) on the left, called Shade, an Ex-Spec Op and now pissed-off superhero and on the right we have Scarecrow (not the Batsy-one you silly billy) who is able to control DARKNESS ITSELF!

Hey guys and gals,


just a quick update, I had a minor mental meltdown two days ago. I don't want to talk about it in detail, since that would either drag some of you down as well or pity me, both of which I don't want. What I want to say is that I'm going to be less active/not active at all the next week at least. I will be back once I feel more comfortable and will work through the commissions I have, just slower than usual.
