Name: Seefi Grasshider

Age: 158

Mental Age: 21

Gender: Female

Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual

Q: Regular or Irregular? ->A: Regular

Species: Therianthrope

Personality: Seefi's kind of an odd sort. She's inquisitive to a fault, is plagued by the curse of never being able to tell when someone's joking, and despite her cool exterior, really, really needs to work on keeping her emotions in check. The first impression one would have of her is that of the cool, refined beauty that her outer shell would suggest, you know, the sort of ever elegant girl who drinks their tea with one finger stuck out, who wears only the trendiest of clothes, and whatnot. And to some degree, mostly in her usual mannerisms, that is quite true of her.

But in others... Well, being raised in a tent didn't exactly foster the greatest lady inside her. While she's generally soft spoken and sincere, she'll also interrupt people and intrude into conversations without a second thought. Where she's an astute and passionate learner, she's a bit too much of an astute an passionate learner, often invading sessions and events without permission, just because whatever the subject matter was peaked her curiosity. The listen goes on. All of that, really, can be traced back to the simple fact that her tribe was just so small. Everything was shared. Everything was a given. Anyone could intrude into anyone's matters, because every knew everyone else as well as they did the back of their hand. So, now Seefi, someone completely unused to, and even unaware of the conventions of larger societies is thrown into one... And, well, you get the picture.

Similarly, she's hopelessly trusting and naive. Throughout her life, she's been surrounded by people who, as far as she knew, held intentions just as pure as she. Her mind is completely free from fears of such things as deceit and betrayal, which, while allowing her to put her wholehearted trust into practically anyone she meets... Also is a bit of an open back, in a place so ruthless as the Tower she's been thrust into. This is especially true when you take into consideration her unnaturally self-sacrificial nature, being more than willing to put her life on the line, or give up whatever it is she values most, just for the sake of helping another.

Position: Spear Bearer

Rank: N/A

Sobriquet: N/A

Affiliation: Neutral

Abilities and Skills:

  • Predator - Seefi, as with her entire race, is especially in tune with the world around her. She's able to pick up on slight movements, vibrations, and changes in the atmosphere that only wildlife would usually be capable of picking up.
  • Astute Learner - Having spent most her free time growing up learning pretty much anything she could, Seefi's definitely become a swifter learner than most.
  • Smith - In her free time, Seefi has taken an especially large interest in the art of Smithing. She's relatively proficient in the skill, having even forged her own weapon and armor. Her methods are however, quite archaic, by the standards of the Inner Tower.
  • Shinsoo Resistance : Low - Having lived in an area of the Tower with a reletively low level of Shinsoo, Seefi's natural resistance to it is rather underdeveloped.
  • Huntress - Owing her training to the fields of her home floor, Seefi's experience in combat comes from her time hunting the wild Shinheuh of the Tower, rather than traditional training and combat. Because of this, her aim, throwing arm, and skills when combating Shinheuh are more developed than what one would expect from a fresh-off-the-boat Regular. She's however, not completely without experience in person-to-person combat, having spent a reasonable deal of time engaged in sparring matches with her fellow tribesman, which, when combined with tactics adapted from her hunting technique, allows her to hold her own against most regulars, too.
  • Illiterate - Her tribe not having developed a written language due to the scarcity of their number, Seefi can not read or write.

Weapons:

Red Spear - The finest arm Seefi has crafted, the Red Spear is a simple thing. It's design differs little from that of a traditional spear, it's greatest feature being the thorough Shinsoo Reinforcement carried out upon the haft, bolstering it's durability and flexibility, making it into a weapon worthy of use even inside the Inner Tower. At least, for now.

History: Secluded away on the Outer 117th Floor of the Tower, a small tribe lays. Hidden away, unobserved and untouched by the rest of the Tower's inhabitants, they are a people without name or prestige. Among them, living a simple life of little more than eating and sleeping, Seefi resided. As with all of the floor's natives, she'd grow up blissfully unaware of the Inner Tower and it's ever-conflicting inhabitants, her focus instead being turned to the simpler things in life.

Born into such a small tribe, Seefi's childhood was one that could hardly be called one, as was the norm for all born among her number. She, alongside her kin, would be taught to hunt and hide from the very beginnings of their lives, the act of tracking and slaying the Shinheuh of her floor being as natural to them as the passing of night and day. For Seefi, this was especially true. Born under the Chieftain of her tribe, she was raised with a determination fostered inside her. One that shone brightly, seeking towards the betterment of her people, so, when the fate day where she succeeded her father came, she'd not only be a replacement. No, she needed to be an improvement. She needed to bring forth their tribe to a new level, as her father had before her, and his had before him.

So, as she grew, she made it her goal to make sure she could. She steeled herself, she spent long nights, crouched low in the grass with nothing but the silence of the night to keep her company, just so she could improve her aim that tiny bit more. She spent endless days within the heats of the tribe's forge, carefully studying and learning under the blacksmith as he hammered away. She spent countless twilight, sat alongside the Elders of the tribe, with nothing but the clothes on her back, and a drink in her hand as she listened to their ancient, ever-wise ramblings, so to glean even the tiniest bit of knowledge from those who'd come before her. But in the face of the Tower, all of that was naught but dust in the wind.

It was, really, never much. What Seefi and her people had, that is. Their numbers barely reached into that of the thirties, their homes were often not more than tents and holes, and their food... Well, it would never be the most delicate of things. So, living like that it was undeniable. That really, Seefi and her people were probably among the weakest in the Tower. They were behind. In technology. In culture. And even in politics. Every single thing, that they'd found themselves so proud over, was naught in the shadow of the Tower, shielded only it's ignorance of they, and they of it. Rather, that was how things stood. Until a day barely a moon ago. A day when, something unprecedented happened, when a certain Guardian would finally trowel something, or someone, determined, stupid, or just plain crazy enough to place onto his board-game.

Seefi. Someone who, from the bottom of her heart, wished for nothing other than raising her people up to heights never seen before. Someone who, so naive and ambitious, would be unable to see through the Tower's God. Who, at such an opportunity as the one he presented to her, couldn't ever bring herself to say no. Someone who, for the first time in her people's history, entered the Tower of God.
