Name: Caleb Swimmer
Age: 19 (Appearance-wise at least)
Appearance:
Personality: Dark. He doesn't say much and prefers to keep to himself.
Special Technique/Ability: Temporal Immortality. His life force is tethered to his body. He can be tortured mentally and physically, and although it can kill him, it only lasts for a few minutes. He still comes back to life, but always remembers the pain that he experienced.
Backstory: In June 6, 1944, at the brink of the second World War, Purehh's mother and father were devastated. They did not expect they would have to go through losing another.
France had been taken over by the Germans, and their son, Vince, had died in one of the battles a few years back. The allies were making a push into France, moving in from Omaha Beach. A short ways to the South-West of the beach, stood a church known as Isigny-sur-Mer. The Germans were holding a group of French occupants hostage there for leverage. The allies were strategic however, and the Germans knew they would fall soon, whether they liked it, or not. The leading Lieutenant General, Schreckheiden, had an ability that only the higher ranking officers of Adolf's forces knew of. It was known as Temporal Immortality. He knew he couldn't die, however, if he was captured by the Americans, he could be subjected to torture for the rest of time. Although he was incredibly blunt, and capable of ignoring most of the pain they could cause him, he feared that one day, he would at some point give in. They would then probe him for information on all the Nazi's had done, and even find out how they gave him his immortality. He had to find a way to escape, and fortunately, the German scientists who had concocted the immunity, had created it with a fail safe.
He looked out among the hostages, and spotted a young boy among them. Pulling him from the group, and ignoring his parents pleas for mercy, he brought him into a secluded room in the back of the church. The boy was quiet, smart of him. Schreckheiden kneeled down, and stuck a prepared syringe into his arm, drawing his blood. At this point, the gunfire could be heard just outside the building. The Allies had advanced on their position, and were already beginning to wipe them. The general locked eyes with the boy, and took his arm, slowly injecting the serum into him. Gunshots could be heard inside the church now, followed by the screaming of the hostages. As he pressed down on the plunger, he spoke to the boy in a soft voice, as though he had cared so deeply for him, for as long as he had lived.
-Aus meinem Blut sollst du leben, aus deinem Blut, ich werde wiedergeboren werden.- [From my blood, you shall live, from your blood, I shall be reborn,]
The boy stared back at the man, his eyes changing from their natural green color, to a light scarlet. A short burst of gunfire, followed by the man crippling off onto the ground. The allies had saved the hostages. Not one had been shot, however, the solider who had saved the boy, saw what happened. That German, had done something to him, so the solider took the boy. He brought him to America, where he "grew up".
Maybe one of us should change our character's name, because now we have two Calebs xP. I'll do it if you want.
