Name: Maori Jace Varcery
Age: 16

Gender: Male

Grade: High school Junior/11th grade

Appearance: Maori has neck-length platinum white hair and blue eyes that tend to look rather purplish thus he often than not wears proper blue contacts. In school he wears simple sweaters and slim fit jeans, usually in all black. Maori is petite for a boy, barely 5'4" and pretty light weight as well, his body is slim and rather feminine, shoulders small. He has long legs and delicate, nimble fingers. He is rather flexible and will often times not stand properly, most comfortable crossing his legs or standing on one leg. Often times his nails will be painted at least a nude colour, both ears pierced with usually black stud earrings.

Strengths: He is great at Chemistry, PE(specifically gymnastics and athletics) and art or design. He's very good with colours.

Flaws: Maori is bad at maths and has trouble speaking up under pressure which makes him go mute which in turns makes his presentation or public speaking impossible. He doesn't have much of any confidence and is a rather big pushover, easy to bully.

Personality: He is rather shy and wary of people. Not one to mingle and be social, he keeps to himself, often times listening to music or doodling somewhere, maybe playing with his earlobes or looking at his phone. He has a rather large personal space bubble which he isn't too happy when it is intruded upon. He is rather indecisive which makes him clam up due to anxiety and stress in any kind of situation where he's given a choice.

Background: Maori was born to Sierra Varcery and Victor Varcery, two very successful people with very high standards. As the second child, Maori is under a lot of pressure, with his future pre-planned by his parents. They have become control freaks after their first child went completely against their wishes and more or less became a disappointment. Maori suffered most from that. As a little boy he wasn't allowed to play outside with other children, his parents planned everything, what he put on, how his hair was cut, what he ate, how he must behave, what he could and couldn't watch.. He was forced to study from a young age, all the time without any fun. He was supposed to be their perfect child, the one they could boast about to their friends, colleagues.. He was supposed to marry a girl and have kids.. But things weren't going to turn out as they planned, even if Maori, in all his fear of his parents, hoped it would for his own well-being and mental state.

Secret: Maori is an online singer and performer with a bit of a following. He is also closeted homosexual and gender-fluid, hence he cross-dresses and posts pictures online, always wearing masks to hide his identity.

Other: Has no friends, is a loner but is actually from a wealthy family which no one knows about as he doesn't speak about himself. Terrified of people finding out he's gay or not a cis-male.. At the same time hopes one day he'll have friends that support him and accept him.

Appearance: Aaron is a tall and thin, reaching up to 6'6" and only 103 lbs. With blonde hair and piercing green eyes, Aaron dresses as if he comes from a higher prestige family. Always looking bored or unimpressed, he represents the idea of indifferent and uncaring.

Strengths: An excellent computer manipulator, there isn't much about them he doesn't know. He has high, precise reflexes from the many games he plays during his days. Quite studious and intelligent.

Flaws: Very antisocial, though not because people make him nervous, he just doesn't like large crowds. He's very honest in his words, not caring about the feelings of those around him as he speaks or acts. Aaron will often act on his own rather than working with a group.

Personality: Normally a rather mellow personality, Aaron is always calm and indifferent. While he has no issue speaking his mind or popping out the occasional joke or pun, he is rather honest and supportive of his friends, even if he thinks so little of himself. Regarding his opinion of himself, Aaron will happily agree when he's addressed as weird or strange, seeing himself every bit as fitting for the words, despite this, Aaron keeps his emotions to himself for the most part and is normally quite pessimistic when it comes to his own endeavors.

Background: Aaron Matthews was born to a single mother, his father having left long before he was born. Stephanie Matthews, his mother, ran her own computer repair business, fixing and repairing software and hardware alike. Coming up from this, Aaron often spent time working at his mother's shop, developing an affinity for these sort of things. As he grew up, his mother continued her work and he went to school. As he went through school, he grew more distant from those his age, finding more likable people online than ever offline. As he hit high school, he and his mother struck a deal with the school. In exchange for taking his classes online, he worked as the school's main IT worker. Given his own club room, Matthews rarely leaves the club office unless needed and often plays games or works on his class work. He has been known to sleep in the school or at least stay overnight.

She's average height, if a little tall, at 5' 7", and her build is tall and slim. She dresses in a simple but feminine style and usually wears make-up. Although she tries to hide it, she can often appear pallid as if she's unwell.

Strengths:

• Academic - she does well at school, especially in mathematical and scientific subjects. She always wants to be the best.
• Manipulative - she is more than capable of getting what she wants, even if it means tricking other people.
• Athletic - she regularly exercises and is very flexible as she used to compete in gymnastics.

Flaws:

• Fatigued - often she feels very tired or weak and will sometimes have to sit down to get her energy back.
• Mean - often she can hurt people's feelings without really intending to and doesn't think too much of it.
• Insecure - although she appears confident, she is actually incredibly insecure about herself.

Personality: Chloe is popular, pretty, and smart. She will do whatever it takes to stay on top, even if she has to hurt or humiliate other people in order to do it. She also sometimes hurts people's feelings without really thinking about it. Deep down, she desperately wants other people to like her and hates how she always seems to ruin things. Chloe works hard to keep herself near the top of the class, although she passes off that she never does any work. Her good looks and her parents' money means that Chloe can get anything or into any place. She likes to throw parties, get drunk, and spend money. Although Chloe keeps up a happy front, deep down she has her own issues.

Background: Born to rich parents and raised by divorced parents, Chloe learned early in life how to get exactly what she wanted. Her parents split when she was five and she spent the next five years being shipped back and forth between them. Chloe was considered a troubled child, as she frequently threw temper tantrums and got in trouble at school. Luckily, Chloe grew out of it and instead made herself the Queen Bee at her school. She's one of the most popular girls at school and she intends it to stay that way, no matter what it entails. Ami, before she died, was a close friend of hers, though Chloe thought she was too kind for her own good.

Appearance: Stands at about five foot nine, with a slim, hourglass frame. Her hair is a vibrant scarlet color, falling in loose curls most of the way down her back. Blue grey eyes peer out of a long face, her high cheekbones and straight nose giving her an elegant look. Her right ear is pierced three times, her left ear four, and she has a black and red Phoenix tattoo that sprawls most of her back, the head and top of the wings showing when she wears a tank top. Typically found in jeans, four inch heels, and either a blouse, a button up, or a tank top with a leather jacket.

Strengths:
- Creative; she's been doing ballet since she could walk, can play two instruments, can sing, and is a decent artist. she creatively focuses primarily on photography, that being her biggest passion
- Passionate; Ruby does nothing in small amounts. it's not always easy to rile up her interest, but for the right things she's totally dedicated.
- Curious; when she wants to know something, she will find out one way or another, whether it's knowledge, or secrets

Flaws:
- Short tempered; whether it's a family trait, or if it comes from her hair, it's not hard to tick her off, though she does tend to cool down and get over it quickly
- Withdrawn; she's not fond of being touched, and is typically uncomfortable when people are open and emotional with her
- Unforgiving; if someone does manage to fuck up and make her truly angry, it is very rare for her to forgive them, even after time has passed.

Personality: There were certain requirements for being in Ami's close, inner circle, one of which being an innate sort of kindness. This Ruby possessed in spades. She never found it difficult to offer a helping hand, often tutoring for younger students and doing charity work with Ami. She also has a very strong sense of justice, and as such doesn't put up with bullies. She differed from her friend in her reservedness though. While Ami was emotional and outgoing, Ruby preferred to keep her feelings to herself, letting few people truly in to see them.

Background: Ruby and Ami were best friends literally since birth. Their parents were blue bloods, old money, and their mothers had been childhood friends as well. So it made sense, when they found out they were both pregnant at the same time, to practically raise the girls together. They were utterly inseparable. They never fought, whether over toys and games or boys once they were older. Unlike Ami's home, which was always warm and welcoming, Ruby's home was often cold and very clinical. While not bad parents, they were never physically affectionate or emotionally available. They had a strict future set for her, and any time she strayed from that they retaliated by emotionally shutting her out. Luckily for her, Ami's parents had more than enough love to go around, and gently helped her towards her goals, letting her grow in the directions she wanted, while maneuvering through her parents minefield of demands.

Strengths:

Her quick wit could be considered a strength, she is not afraid to stick up for herself or others, and usually finishes what she starts. She is loyal almost to a fault to those who have her back. She is a solid friend who would do anything for those she considers her family. She is athletic, leads an outdoor lifestyle, and can hold her own despite her stature.

Flaws:

Maria’s passion is both a strength and a flaw. She has a short temper and is quick to anger. She holds her dearest friends close to her heart, and often takes more offense to slights against those close to her more seriously and personally than they do. Her greatest weakness would be her younger brother, who she would do absolutely anything for without question. Maria tends to slide by in school with low Bs, high Cs. She wastes little of her time studying, choosing to go out with friends on the weekends instead.

Personality:

Maria is full of life and energy, and is always ready for the next adventure. She is smart and quick-witted, leads an active outdoor life, and generally gets along with everyone. She can be smart-mouthed, which often gets her into trouble, but she means well.

Background:

Maria and Peter come from a close family with both parents. They were joined at the hip from childhood, doing anything and everything together, each other’s best friend. They gained some distance when Maria went off to high school, though remained close. And now that Peter has started his freshman year and they are once again in the same school together, Maria expects them to be close once again. They have a healthy sibling relationship, each having their own space and friends, while knowing the only person they can truly trust is each other. Maria’s tuition was paid for by her grandparents, who themselves went to a private school and decided they wanted nothing but the best for their grandchildren. Her grades were nowhere near enough to land her any sort of scholarship, though she managed to get some of it paid for by joining the Softball team.

He is of Mexican descent with a sprinkling of Spanish and Moroccan, with light olive skin.

Strengths:

Peter has always been good at school. He enjoys nearly all subjects, though he is partial to the sciences and enjoys reading. He takes pride in his work and in his grades and has many aspiration with the hope of one day pursuing cardiology. Or neuroscience, whichever comes first. He is kind-hearted and easy-going, slow to anger with an over-abundance of patience. He is the goalkeep on the school’s soccer team, which helped pay for part of his tuition, and his grades the rest.

Flaws:

Loyal to a fault almost, sees the best in everyone, and often misses their worst. Can be a tad too trustful of people he assumes are his friends. It has never really been an issue before, though with the murder of one of the most well-known girls in school, his naïvety might end up being his downfall.

Personality:

Peter is kind, caring, and patient. He is a good friend who goes out of his way for both friends and strangers.

Appearance: Sophia stands at 5'11" with a slight athletic build. Her long brunette hair has the soft and silky look and feel of someone who manages their appearance with care. During her free time, Sophia prefers to dress in more of a functional manner, but can definitely bring it when she needs to. You can always tell when she's been in a room, because she leaves behind a pleasant jasmine scent.

Strengths:
Enterprising - Sophia is always looking for the business opportunities in every situation. She rarely does anything for nothing, unless she can see an upside for herself somewhere down the line. Her enterprising nature led to the creation of her black market shop.

Smart - Sophia has been programmed to learn and absorb information since she was a child. She is consistently at the top of her class, although she has yet to beat Ami academically. Sophia would never admit it, but her inability to beat her is a consistent nagging in the back of her mind.

Kind Personality - Sophia is very nice to everyone she meets, treating everyone as a friend. She is known as a very kind and matronly figure among the students and faculty, often being called upon to help the younger students. She may not be very close with too many people, but she is definitely held in high regards.

Flaws:
Vindictive - Sophia's upbringing has taught her one consistent life lesson -- forgive, but never forget. She never forgets anyone that wrongs her, even if she has a smile on her face and treats her offender like everything is fine.

Two Faced - Sophia does not have many close friends, mostly by choice. She keeps everyone at an arm's distance, only showing them a very carefully fabricated matronly personality. Very few people have seen her real personality. Sophia only ever breaks her kind nature for her subordinates and people she needs to "deal with."

Questionable Morals - It's a bit unclear whether Sophia is actually a good person deep down, or to what degree she will sacrifice her interests to do the right thing. It would probably be smart to avoid putting her in that position.

Personality: Sophia has a very mature personality, which often appears nurturing to younger students. She treats everyone kindly and with respect, earning a bit of love from the student body. The adoration is completely superficial, as Sophia keeps most people at an arms distance. Most people never see past the kind smiles to see what lies below.

Background: There are very few details known publicly about Sophia. Most people are either oblivious to that fact, or simply choose to ignore it, as high school students have more than enough on their minds. To those few that are nosy enough to snoop around, they've found out that Tiefel is not Sophia's real family name. It took a bit of ingenuity to figure that much out, but her records were edited so well that her family lineage still remains a mystery. Anyone that has asked her directly about her past have been given vastly different stories, none of which were even somewhat similar. The only clue, to anyone curious, were the very shady looking guys that showed up to speak with Sophia after the news broke of Ami's death.

Privately, Sophia was born into a very well established family with questionable ties. As an only child, it was always known that she would one day take over the family enterprises. She spent most of her life studying and bettering herself in an attempt to win the favor of the parents she rarely spent any extended time with. It was expected of Sophia to make her own way and establish herself as a strong and independent person, as preparation for her future responsibilities. Her high school career was no different. Her parents paid the first two years of tuition and gave her a one time small stipend that she was to use to establish herself within the school.

In her 3 years at Silver Oak, Sophia has established a black market of sorts among the students. She trades and sells contraband, among other things, that would normally be impossible to sneak into the school. Her grades are also impeccable, earning herself a scholarship before the two years her parents paid finished.
