Sebastian is tall, standing at 6'0" exactly, and weighing in about 157 lbs. His hair is a fiery red spiked upwards and back, with two strands falling in front of his face, one over each green eye. His everyday outfit consists of black and white shoes, black jeans, a white t-shirt, with a black jacket with a black fur collar over it. He wears two necklaces, a bead necklace that is wrapped snugly around his throat, previously owned by his now deceased friend Taro, and a long necklace held by an asterisk shape in the middle of it, a gift from his parents.

Chernobog is just as tall, and weighs just as much as Sebastian. His hair, however, is brown and cut much shorter, spiking up but not backwards. His eyes are a lighter shade of green compared to that of Sebastian. His outfit consists of black leather pants with leather straps wrapped around his left leg, knee-length brown leather boots, an armless leather high-collar jacket split red and black with silver clasps holding it together where the two colors split, and black leather bracers with red trimming. Alongside that, he has a brown with silver trimmings belt wrapped around his waist holding a brown bag that he carries around.

Sebastian is, in a word, aggressive. He picks often picks fights with others, though most of he time he is justified in doing so to a degree, and when he isn't picking fights, he's more often than not brooding. That isn't to say he can't interact with people kindly, as there are many a time when he is seen helping out others with a scowl that truly doesn't reach his eyes. And while he is aggressive, that doesn't mean he has a temper. Quite the opposite of it really, he is extremely calm and patient when dealing with most people, it's just simply he is more than willing to fight someone who care little for other's feelings and well being.
The fact of the matter is, he doesn't tolerate cruelty. He is jaded, broody, and generally not all too fun to be around if he doesn't know you too well, but above all, he is fair, just, and when it comes down to it, kind beyond a doubt. This is a well known fact by those close to him, and to them, he opens himself up beyond what he shows to the general public. Though one thing that will immediately set him off into a cold fury is when someone dismisses something as "simply a game", especially if they refer to the SAO indecent as such. Other than that, there is little that is capable of easily angering him, and he is more than willing to steer clear of other's way, as long as he isn't attempting to help make someone's life easier, if people are willing to steer clear of his way.

Sebastian Ciar was born as the only child of two very loving parents. His father an Irishman who traveled to Japan and fell in love with his mother, he was born a year into their marriage. His early childhood was a fairly regular affair, though from a young age he it seemed that he was turning out to be a bit of a delinquent. His less than socially acceptable actions were, however, dulled by the introduction of his best friend, Taro Yamada. Together the two were inseparable, and that extended to the virtual world as well.
One day, Taro brought up the upcoming game of SAO, and managed to convince Sebastian to play with him. With Taro going under the guise of Belobog, Sebastian joined him as Chernobog. Immediately the two were captivated by the beautiful world around them, and with a promise to each other to continue tomorrow, they went to log out. Yet, they couldn't. When it was later revealed that they were stuck there until they beat the game, the two set their eyes on the future and worked to be the best. Travelling together, the fought long and hard on the front-lines, knowing that each moment very well could be their last.
Everything was going as well as it could be in a death game for the two. They made friends, and lost friends, making the best of their time all while pushing forward with unending determination, if not for themselves, then for the others trapped here. Then, on the 70th floor, Taro fell. The two were fighting the floor boss with the front-liners, and were getting a bit banged up. Suddenly, the boss seemed to be about to deliver the finishing blow to an unsuspecting Sebastian, only for Taro to intercept the blow. He died instantly. In a rage, Sebastian fought and avenged his dead friend, going as far as to land the finishing blow, receiving a bright yellow scarf called The Sun's Radiance, which he wore in respect of Taro. As the haze died down, it was revealed that Taro was the only causality, an amazing feat that was diminished for Sebastian at the loss of his best friend. After that incident, he helped clear the next remaining floors whenever he was feeling up to it, with the loss of Taro slowly compounding and getting to him. When he was asked to join in the battle against the 75th floor's boss, he accepted. He was horrified at the death that was wrought, yet fought on. When it was defeated, and then Kayaba Akihiko revealed and promptly defeated, his desire of freedom from this wretched world was once again sullied by the loss of his best friend.
When he finally got out of SAO, he changed, becoming jaded and more confrontational than ever, in part reacting to things that he knew would offend the now deceased Taro's sense of honor and equality. Slowly over the months of rehab, he managed to join society once more, though from that point he always seemed to act as if there was always a chip on his shoulder that was slowly suffocating him at times. Desperate to distract him, his and Taro's parents surprised him with a copy of GGO, and all but forced him to play it. To his very own surprise, he started to enjoy the virtual world once more, and from that point on, he used to as a stress reliever, as well as a way to remember Taro.
