Arcadia Nox Cole

Welcome to the Unit

Age: 28


Gender: Female


Hometown: Marienville, PA.


Number of years in Search and Rescue: 8, nearly 9 of paid service. Volunteer with her father since she was merely 15.

There's a reason she's Captain.

Personality: Don't be fooled by the warm cup of coffee and comfort of home Arcadia loves to keep at the station, there is no blizzard or steep valley that will keep her from doing her job. Her pride and pure determination can sometimes get the best of her though if a case hits close to home, as she'll drive herself to exhaustion before she ends a search with no trace of the missing. To those who she's still feeling out, they receive glares colder than permafrost, but to her friends she's the group mother. Arcadia will live and die to care for and have a few drinks with the people she loves to keep in her life. She runs her trainees hard, and doesn't lie or sugarcoat anything- she doesn't do this out of cruelty though, it's out of a intense trust and honesty she has with the unit. Coming into the job, you'll know exactly what you'll be doing during the job. The unit she runs has her whole heart and soul poured into it.


Fears: Being stranded in open water, being followed in the dark while alone, mirrors while in the dark.


Reasons for joining: It has been a generational tradition in her family since her grandfather. She was raised in the squadron's family, and after the sudden death of her father during a bad snow year, she was promoted into the line for Squad captain.


Strengths: Strong and flexible physically, a good leader, and extremely dependable when it come sot getting the job done.


Weaknesses: Her bluntness with trainee's had earned her the hard nickname Medusa. Superstitions mixed with her constant anxiety filled stress Arcadia is usually one to take on more than she can handle.

She joined because she's always loved nature, and she needs a job.

She ruined her college career through a series of mistakes,

and basically she now is living on her own with her two-year-old son, Danny.

She's a spontaneous, lovable person, and while easy-going and happy,

she can be a bit demanding and even a little vindictive.

She hates spiders, and horror movies. Can't stand them.

She has a lot of confidence in herself, and in others. She's also passionate

about what she does.

She's clumsy, and has a tendency to mishear instructions and unwittingly

get herself into trouble.

"Finally, I can figure out what's going on. Don't know why I made a personal identifier, but nonetheless." Max thinks for a moment, organizing his thoughts. "I'll record my findings here." He sighs with exhaustion, then grins. "Whelp. Time to make my application." He says, walking off and leaving his laptop with a display, left on.

  Personality: Very sarcastic, know-it-all smartass, but not in an abrasive way (more of a comedic way.) Very outgoing to friends and doesn't care what people think of him. Very passionate about things important to him.

  Strengths: Determined, fiery personality (I think that's a strength), Fast, agile, smart and strategic, good with handguns.

-Reasons for joining-

Nathan has always been an attentive individual. After his girlfriend dumped him, he had the urge to make people appreciate his presence and joined Search and Rescue to help others, and help himself at the same time. He feels like a waste of space otherwise. He hasn't heard of his parents since his 19th birthday, and lost all his friends after moving to Florida. He doesn't believe in the supernatural.


-Personality-

Nathan is a very honest person. He unintentionally hurts people with his honesty sometimes. He's in a good mood most of the time, and always good for a joke. However, Nathan is just a human being, too. Even if he seems to be very self-conscious, he has trust issues. When it comes to relying to another person, he quickly finds himself in a situation he doesn't want to be in, and tries to do everything himself. If somebody provokes him, he quickly turns violent, no matter who it is,


but all in all, he is a polite and humorous person who tries to make the best out of every situation.


-Fears-


Being trapped in tiny spaces and/or rooms (claustrophobia)


He always takes the stairs instead of the elevator, and refuses to sleep on bunk beds, for example. There are some other minor fears like spiders or math, but they're not as bad as his claustrophobia.


-Strengths-


Nathan is somebody to rely on. When he says he'll take care of something, he will do it. 100%. His agility and strength is average for a man his age, but he is very good in 1 on 1 combat.


-Weaknesses-


He's not good at dealing with stressful situations. When things get too tough, he'll end up making mistakes. Another bad habit is that he avoids seeking help when he's in trouble, since he tries to solve everything himself.

Reasons for joining: Being a special ops veteran, he can't settle down into other, less specialized work. He Yearns to feel the wind in his hair again


Personality: Though often cool and calculated, Allen is very vibrant in nature. He plans ahead, but acts erratically. In Special operations he was what they referred to as a swiss army knife. He was sent on his own, mostly because he worked best that way, and got the job done. Regardless of the task, Allen was your guy. He accepts work eagerly, as a matter of fact getting Allen to wait is almost impossible. He has a certain unspoken affection towards close combat, as his codename would demonstrate.


Fears:Missing out, or letting others down. Plus his 8th grade math teacher, but she was long dead.


Strengths: admirable, ferocious in combat, puts others before himself. Tactician, An expert in spear combat, he carries one with him on all missions. Also an adept medic. Sniping is another of his strong suits


Weaknesses:puts others before himself, sometimes acts prematurely, doesn't work well with others more often than not.
