Backstory: Satochi was a child born with naturally poor eyesight. He had extreme nearsightedness to the point where he was essentially blind. As he grew up, he needed strong glasses just to help him see normally, but he also learned to use a blind stick to find his way around. His parents let him grow as any other kid would, letting him go to school and make friends with other kids. His mother, a Huntress, taught Satochi about Aura and how all living things have one, with Humans and Faunus having distinct colors to theirs. His father, a book store owner, let his son read through his entire stock of books with a wide range of topics. Satochi was also taught about Grimm and their lack of an Aura. His mother told him about her adventures and her life as a Huntress, serving those in need and giving aid to those who need it. Sato, engrossed by his mother's stories, requested that he go to a combat school once he was of age. Worried, his father declined the request, fearing that Sato would get himself killed easilly due to his nearsightedness. On one fateful day, Sato was out shopping with his mother. He got distracted and wandered off, separating himself from his mother in the large city crowd. Scared, he called out for his mom, but no one dared help. Crying to himself, he wiped his eyes until sometthing peculiar happened. Everything around him went dark, though he could see faint outlines around people for some strange reason. It was then he remembered what his mother had told him: that all Humans and Faunus had distinct Auras. Satochi began swimming through the crowd, climbing onto a bench to try and see over everyone. Off in the distance, he found an Aura which was significantly brighter and more vibrant than anyone else's. Reunited, Sato and his mother held each other in a tight embrace. His mother asked him how he found her, which he then explained what happened to his sight. Realizing that Satochi's Semblance had awakened, she knew that his ability would be useful to a team someday. She took it upon herself to prepare her son for the combat school, much to the father's dismay, who wasn't convinced that his son would be able to do what his loving wife did. "You know what they say, Mother knows best," she said coyly to her husband. Satochi trained and studied hard with his mother while in school, graduating at the top of his class. He soon went on to Beacon to be the first "blind" Hunter to ever exist (at least to his knowledge).
Personality: Satochi is a confident young man who always pushes himself to do the best he can. He's also extremely enthusiastic and supportive of his teammates, giving them positive feedback all the time, however, it's easy for him to come off as rude unintentionally. He never backs down from a challenge, though he knows when limits should be placed. He treats everyone with respect, never discriminating anyone, Human or Faunus. Sato does see the White Fang as a group of extremists, however, due to their acts of violence and terrorism among the populace. He puts trust in his teammates that they'll perform to the best of their ability. Sato does tend to get passive aggressive sometimes, especially when people try to pity him because of his nearsightedness.

Fighting Style: Satochi likes to be the scout of the team, using skills his mother told him on how to track his target and the combat ability he was taught. Using his semblance, he can track down any wanted criminal with ease.
Semblance: Aura-Sight - Satochi has the ability to see the Aura of every living being around him. Doing so drains his own Aura at a slightly higher rate, so he wears goggles whose lenses have prescription glass on them so he can see normally without using his aura.
