I tattooed a turkey once. Also, here are some watercolors.

Most of the time I work with digital media but sometimes I draw in the physical realm. <img src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/imageproxy/imageproxy.php?img=http://40.media.tumblr.com/7e0ea88c943563d5dda8e90095f4d1ce/tumblr_ndwvbkQRMX1tksaupo1_1280.jpg&key=c7bb44c41523d3f08b21ebadcddabf96b60d2d3f4845af050dafc77993884be3" class="ipsImage" alt="tumblr_ndwvbkQRMX1tksaupo1_1280.jpg" /> The original <img src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/imageproxy/imageproxy.php?img=http://40.media.tumblr.com/c877f421d18b726eec094b85eb95b61c/tumblr_ndwuwjTPmp1tksaupo1_1280.jpg&key=12c6e006b4e1b7e957e89bde1f15b6a4d00d9f6f8f387c97ef5f04c73cde0179" class="ipsImage" alt="tumblr_ndwuwjTPmp1tksaupo1_1280.jpg" /> Lotus flowers <img src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/imageproxy/imageproxy.php?img=http://40.media.tumblr.com/5f785845d2a3da6cae864ba348397652/tumblr_naumve20Bh1tksaupo1_1280.jpg&key=99109950e510c25f69a13a0284cf7990b4ec8217e7484e273fb572bddc671abb" class="ipsImage" alt="tumblr_naumve20Bh1tksaupo1_1280.jpg" /> No mercy for swine (Lord of the flies inspired) <img src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/imageproxy/imageproxy.php?img=http://41.media.tumblr.com/ea30aab2ca6c1b79bd76acfdde78ab91/tumblr_naumk5qJw31tksaupo1_1280.jpg&key=932ef4c79be17da38a44307a4ab4401dc92430e2ac496ec33d51cba516cefef7" class="ipsImage" alt="tumblr_naumk5qJw31tksaupo1_1280.jpg" /> Koi <img src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/imageproxy/imageproxy.php?img=http://36.media.tumblr.com/595173a31aca2878aa87acaca56e8d85/tumblr_naumcdKVRt1tksaupo1_1280.jpg&key=195bd740488e8de1a6a50feb4b2606356394539a276d6f6e4ec93bf1eaa036c6" class="ipsImage" alt="tumblr_naumcdKVRt1tksaupo1_1280.jpg" /></p>

This is what I do for people's birthdays. It's because I'm cheap.

Dude!

That tattooed turkey is EPIC! You have some serious skills and style, I'd have you tattoo me any day :D Also I really love that pig picture- you've captured it in such an awesome way <3 Can't wait to see more!

Thank you so much everyone. I'm glad you've been enjoying my posts.

I have a new one for you. Just finished my first watercolor portrait for my sister's birthday.

Thank you. I never feel like I have a consistent style so it's nice to hear that.

Anyway, I tried watercolors on wood today. This is the result.

weHHHH your textures and colors are so nice *v* I love the thickness of your lines, too; makes everything look super bold and clean. If you told me that you were a professional tattoo artist irl I would 100% believe that.

I appreciate comments like that. I used to be until I busted my wrist skateboarding. Even though I can't hold a tattoo gun anymore, I can still draw. Nowadays, I'm pushing for a degree in concept art instead.

@SlowInfect

honestly that is like my worst nightmare realized. In any sport/adventure/potential risky maneuver I always favor and safeguard my right wrist and fingers out of fear I might injure it in a way that would tamper with my ability to draw. :c I'm really sorry that happened, man... For what it's worth, though? Everything you've shown in this thread looks solid. Hopefully one day with physical therapy or something you'll be able to tattoo again, even if it's not something you do occupationally. Good vibes <3

Beautiful work. I'm really enjoying the subtlety of colour and tone here.
I appreciate it. I think it's a bit more fun to shade with saturation. :)

Yeah, I learned my lesson there. I limit some of the riskier activities nowadays, but it didn't completely destroy the chance for an art career. Honestly, I'm a little happy to be finished with commission work. It can be frustrating. The thought of working for a studio with a consistent check is much more appealing.

Anyway, I've watched Taxi Driver about five times in the last month. So here is a quick watercolor of a young Robert DeNiro.

Every couple of years I draw a self portrait to try to express the things I never can in words. It's ranged from depression to social anxiety and this time the bombardment emotions that comes from overthinking every little thing... This is the best way I can think of to describe how it feels.

Nice. Very expressive. I always find self-portraits like that super cathartic.
It definitely is. Though it doesn't always present a solution, the process always provides immeasurable insight to one's own condition.

Absolutely. Making art = staying sane.

Occasionally I hang out with a bunch of tattoo artists and we have "art nights" where we just draw and bullshit with each other. This is the fruit of last night.

Two in one day. This is rare. Anyway, I've been enjoying Preacher on AMC. Cassidy is the best character by far.

It's not like I have a recurring theme of tentacles, eyeballs, skulls, or anything else

You have such a distinctly gothic style! Not the type of gothic that sits in the corner and broods, but the type that is well-expressed and almost Lovecraftian. Though now that I think of it, you're basically the only person I've seen with that type.

Good job man, your art is amazing.
