Samurai orphans idea

I'm new so please don't judge this is just a rough draft so opinions are needed . Basically this takes place back in the eighteen hundreds there's a samurai war going on in Japan and kids are left homeless or without Family , this is where the story takes place .


In the mist of chaos theres a young samurai warrior taking in orphan kids to his dojo where he teaches them the true way of the samurai most of the kids are between ages 12 and 14 he gives them food in a place to stay and gives them chores around the dojo such as cleaning , cooking and so on .


That's all I have so far I really wanna do this Story so if you have any other ideas feel free to say thanks for reading
