Guardian of the Three Moons

Background
Earth, half into the 21st century, was most likely the least desirable place to find yourself on in the entire universe. With greenhouse gases being unregulated properly, the world itself was diagnosed with impending doom. The planet had become an inhospitable environment, with only sparse rain and an average temperature of 16 degrees Celsius in winter, 40 degrees in summer at most rural regions. The icebergs continued to melt and increased the general water height, even burying some shores and islands in the Pacific.
More than discomfort, all these things caused a practical problem; where warm sea currents swirled, aggressive jungles grew. Where the cold was located, severe drought occurred. This all resulted in depleting crops all around the globe and the world was plunged into starvation.
Soon, humans started turning on one another to gain simple things as food; and the populace started to decline rapidly. All technology progress was brought to a halt except for the development of weapons, such as intelligent rockets and of course, more nuclear bombs.
Before long, humanity was caught up in warfare, with the Western hemisphere bombing lands at the Eastern and also the other way around. Armageddon was almost imminent when everyone finally realized what they were doing. Radioactive wastelands were found on almost every corner, cities were turned to dust and people were forced to live underground. Everything settled down, communications were shut down and the entire world looked like the mere shell of a planet.
Then, nearly a hundred years after World War III, the first 'pilgrims' of the modern world stepped out of their underground shelters and started farming on the land that was deemed fertile again.
Humanity is still far away from being extinct. As time progressed, they started all over again; rebuilding, researching, re-living the old times. In the 22nd century, the humans in Europe renewed contact with the other countries. A decade later, they were all working together on escaping yet another catastrophe.
A meteoroid, near the size of the one that shaped the Earth billions of years ago, capable of unleashing , was now threatening to collide with the 'blue planet', most likely eviscerating all life on the surface if it did clash.
And so, all countries joined forces and started developing a program- Operation Planetseeker. There were some tips on what possible planets were capable to withhold humanity's needs and could be terraformed into a suitable climate.
Echo, Eden, Eon, Eve and Era.These were the worlds that fifteen chosen individuals were going to try and inhabit. But then another problem arose. No one specified which planet was more likely not to kill the picked, so who was going to which planet?
Thus, Salvation was created. A trial that would last for three months - 99 days - would be in charge of deciding which individuals are the most capable of starting a new civilization. It would consist of many challenges, trying skills of all possible kinds. As the countdown begins for Planet Earth’s demise and the candidates’ destinies, everything will be put on the line.
It all comes down to Salvation.
